Dont worry Food Lions got you covered. Shelves are stocked, people are social distanceing, clerks and staff are friendly plus wearing their mask properly. Its my kinda place and you should make it yours. Stay positive but stay negative.

Would have enjoyed some interaction with the one staff person, but took my time looking through the good Virginia collection of products. Found the gifts I could use. And will be back.

Oh my goodness! I hit the jackpot when I found the Virginia Shop online. Their website is very user friendly and I was able to build a basket with an assortment of fantastic local goods, that I knew would be enjoyed for sure (their merchandise is pretty eclectic within the Virginia theme). The best part of my experience was the wonderful customer service I received. Although I placed the order late at night and some products were showing as out of stock, I was able to speak with the store directly the next day to select suitable replacements. Tiffany is da bomb! She was kind enough to send me photos of the newly selected items via text, and her suggestions were dead on. We even had a good laugh about the greeting card enclosed (inside joke :D). Overall, it was a great shopping experience.

I came here for a gift basket to take to my hosts in a foreign country! Laurie helped me select a custom gift basket with everything I wanted, and although usually it takes some time to put together since she heard I had driven up from richmond she did it on the spot! It turned out amazing I am so pleased!

Very friendly staff and owner. Nice selection of Virginia souvenirs (both the state and the University) as well as a large selection of peanuts. Dont be fooled by this though. Only buy Hubbs. Also stock up in February when all peanuts are 25% off.

I had a nice experience in here on Wednesday. The lady behind the counter was really friendly. I found some food items in this store to bring home to family once I head back home. I liked all the miscellaneous items in this store that is special to Virginia and/or Charlottesville itself.

The Virginia Shop is a good place to find Virginia and UVA-themed gifts to fit your budget. On a recent visit, the clerks were hustling to restock shelves while also social-distancing and serving holiday shoppers. They handled this stress-provoking situation with aplomb, providing patient and courteous service to each customer.

Got some goodies to bring back to Florida and I am glad I did. They bagged it nicely for me and everything it was very much appreciated!

My adult siblings and my parents all live in different states. For Christmas gifts, we decided to exchange state themed packages. I had The Virginia Shop put together three different gift baskets to send to them. They were very well received and shipped in a timely manner. I would definitely use The Virginia Shop again.

This is the second time I have used The Virginia Shop to create gift bags for out of town guests and both times the bags have been a huge hit! The last gift bag included soaps for which we could personalize the label - a 13 year old girls dream! The bags, which also contained a few items that I had brought in, were assembled by the store. I had the option of having the bags delivered to the hotels but opted for pick up instead. Over 20 bags and 2 gift baskets were ready within 24 hours. This is also a great store for unique local items.

We are so happy with the Virginia Shop. Tiffany has been amazing, but anyone i speak with there is great. We order some items in bulk as customer gifts, and they have been fantastic to work with, so accommodating, and every single customer absolutely loves their gift! I would highly recommend this store.

The Virginia Shop is a lifesaver thanks to the new owner. Whenever out of town guests arrive we make plans to stop by The Virginia Shop to buy unique Virginia-based gifts. Our favorite gifts around the holidays are Virginia wine (namely Barboursville), chocolate covered peanuts, and the condiments such as the red pepper jelly. Whenever we visit the store service is second to none, management and staff are always very helpful and knowledgeable. In addition, it seems we are always finding new gift ideas. Not sure what to get that person who has it all, business associates, or out of town visitors? Try the Virginia Shop, chances are you will find a great gift idea here.
