This AutoZone is Charlottesville has the best staff! David and Wiley who I believe helped me went above and beyond to get me the parts I needed to get my car brakes fixed. Wiley even went as far as retrieving a part from a different AutoZone store miles away. Great staff here!

Needed help checking my car battery after it died on a cold day. The guys working here were super helpful and nice. The gentleman ran two tests, first to check the battery voltage and what not, and second to show how it charges with the engine on. He showed the info on the battery and how it matched the reading on his device, and how all tests passed with no issue. Best of all - this was free! Ill certainly come here to get the battery replaced when it eventually needs to happen. Heck, I want to buy them some donuts for how nice they were!

Walked in tonight looking for some spark plug wires for my truck. When I walked in it appeared that the manager and one other employee were arguing in the front of the store. I don’t know if they didn’t hear me come in but they continued to bicker for a few minutes before the manager turned around and asked what I wanted, rather rudely.We won’t be visiting this Autozone again due to feeling like I was an inconvenience. Go down the street and go to O’Reilys or Federated far better service and pricing

This store is so nice. I accidentally bought a wiper blade from Walmart that was missing the connector from the package. I lost my receipt so I decided to see if I could just buy a connector somewhere. Turns out they don’t sell the connectors separately. But these guys managed to find me an extra connector laying around so I didn’t have to waste a brand new wiper blade. Made my rainy day.

Auto Zone Right near my Home The staff is most helpful. They will help you prices or what worked best for them. A few times will install Wiper Blades which is a great help for women. Have shopped there quite a few years. Great prices. I tell my Friends about your store.

Hard to get the right parts the first time. Most of the staff havent a clue about cars therefore parts are often wrong or they dont know the actual name of what part you need. They seem to just rely on what the computer tells them and often skip questions needed for correct vehicle info. Very frustrating when you have to make multiple trips when trying to get something done. The new way they have to enter the rewards coupons is horrible and takes A lot longer.

Good location, easy to see from US 250. Store has a large inventory. I needed some battery acid and they had it. They should designate their waiting line a little better. While I was waiting, some guy came in, went to the Exit of the line and got checked out.

These guys are lifesavers. Stopped by for a second opinion after getting some weird info from AAA and the cashier, Darrell, couldnt have been more helpful. He did a full battery and alternator test on the spot for free. He stayed late for us (we got in a few minutes before closing) and was super personable and informative. Needed new windshield wipers. Didnt know what to get. The associate who found what i needed and rang me up even put them on for me, which was extremely helpful since I have no idea what Im doing. Nice, social, and helpful.

The manager, Jen Beegle, helped my husband put a new alternator on our vehicle. The alternator went out on our way to the beach. She was kind, helpful, friendly, and gave my boys some treats while we had to wait. An excellent experience and an excellent example to my children of kindness and service!! Convenient location. This AutoZone did not have the part that I needed for my vehicle, but they did have other items I was looking for and the workers there were very nice.

Auto Zone never disappoints me when I need anything for my vehicle. I rarely visit the Charlottesville location, but on days like today, it was the closer and more convenient choice.When I walked in, there was no acknowledgement of my presence and 2 employees were standing at the registers with no customer. Did not affect me but working in customer service, its a common sense.I knew what I needed so I picked up my parts and waited for an employee to help me check out. Kaleb T. assisted me and bad mood and bad attitude doesnt even describe him. He said Hey, scanned my parts, wouldnt scan my zone card until I asked him twice to, and didnt bother to ask if I wanted him to put a part on my car.I know how to do preventative maintenance but cmon dude. He was such a miserable and negative being. Cant say Ill visit this store again because the service is horrendous

Ordered online for in store pickup. Some items were out of stock even though website said they were available. They had not picked items in advance, they had 4+ hours, and did not know how to handle online order well at all.

Shopping for auto parts isnt a favorite activity and if I have to do it this would be my second choice of places to go.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the hours are wide enough to accommodate a later afternoon/evening parts run when you forget something (unlike NAPA which closes at 5pm on Saturday). The biggest drawback is the pace of service. It can take forever just to checkout with a single item even when there are only 2-3 people in line. I would encourage management to instruct the staff to ensure that 1 person is always available as a cashier to keep the $ flowing. Its frustrating when you want to check out with a quart of oil but all 3 employees are in the parking lot assisting customers. Thats great service, but probably not great business. Ive actually walked out without my item more than once because the wait was unacceptable and I knew I could get what I needed down the street.

These guys are an absolute scam! After replacing an alternator I purchased from the store, I brought my old alternator back the next day for my core refund. Even with the card I paid with, alternator & receipt in hand, none of the employees there would give me my $50 refund simply because they “can’t can give back credit on a credit card purchase”... This is absolute bs and I have since talked to corporate and gotten things settled at the waynesboro autozone. These guys deliberately lied to me, wasted my time and tried to screw me out of $50. Absolutely nothing good to say

We received good help. The dashboard light went out on our car while we were on vacation and we went in for new fuses. A young man, Cody(?), came out to look at the car to make sure we had the right fuses for the car. I guess hes a grease monkey who knows his stuff because he concluded it was the bulb, not the fuse. Unfortunately, it was something our mechanic back home would have to take care of.When I go to chains like AutoZone or Home Depot I dont expect that people who know anything about the products they sell actually work there. Well color me surprised! Well at this AutoZone there is one person who does know something about cars.
