I will start by saying that I rarely write online reviews. But I had such great experience with Charlotte Fitness Equipment, I wanted to share....We bought some equipment for our home gym, including a treadmill. There was an issue with the treadmill that couldnt be resolved. It was unfortunate, but my experience with Matt and Mike in resolving the problem was absolutely stellar! Mike came out a few times to troubleshoot, and always texted to keep me updated on his communication with the treadmill company. I never felt like anyone was blowing me off, and I never had to chase them down. Matt & Mike always had my best interest at heart when dealing with the problem. To me, that kind of service is good as gold. Though ultimately the treadmill did not work out (problem with the treadmill company, NOT Charlotte Fitness), I wouldnt go anywhere else to buy fitness equipment. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

Our treadmill died and we needed one as soon as possible earlier this fall. Charlotte Fitness Equipment was able to get us what we needed in a reasonable time. Customer service is top notch and I especially like shopping local!

I was in the market for a really good treadmill and had been searching for at least 5 months (Internet and in person). I had never heard of Charlotte Fitness Equipment but it was local so I stopped in. I met with John and from the start he was incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to understand what was important to me (comfort while running) and then helped me understand the pros/cons of each available model - and there was no pressure to buy either! Once done, I still wasnt ready to commit because I wanted to go to a few more local places. John encouraged me to go to other equipment businesses to ensure I purchased the right one regardless of whether we purchased from him or not. After going to 2 other places, I returned to John/Charlotte Fitness Equipment to ask a few questions about other models I found. John could have easily gotten frustrated but he didnt. Instead, he provided truthful information about all models and never once spoke negatively of his competitors. After much discussion, I finally decided to purchase from Charlotte Fitness Equipment because I loved the Vision T600 treadmill AND because John really impressed me as he was not concerned about making a sale rather his priority was my overall fitness experience especially once I took the treadmill home. That said, John said like most sales teams do, that if I ever experienced any problem, I could just call Charlotte Fitness Equipment they would take care of everything. Well I can tell you right now that these arent just words. Its almost been a year since Ive had my treadmill and i LOVE it!! And, John/Charlotte Fitness Equipment (including Mike) have truly gone above/beyond to ensure that my excellent customer experience continues; making my questions a priority every single time I reach out. I have not experienced such amazing customer service in a long, long time. Too often, companies either forget customers once a sale is made or, its always a fight to get things done but NOT with Charlotte Fitness Equipment. I visited a few other places shopping for an elliptical machine before coming here. Matt was so low pressure and knowledgeable, such a contrast from the previous places I had visited. He really listened to what I was looking for and knew about all of the equipment and how they hold up. I had a great buying experience, but the reason that I am leaving a review is because of what happened later. I have had my elliptical for almost a year now, and because of a fluke manufacturing default, I have had to call several times for repair. Every single time that I have called, I have been handled patiently and professionally. They have come out to repair as promptly as possible, even having an outside company come in for repairs when Covid prevented their own technician from being able to take service calls. Throughout the entire process they have done everything in their power to make sure that I could be taken care of to the best of their abilities in a difficult situation. Even when the elliptical manufacturer wanted to keep trying to repair the default equipment, they offered to replace the machine with either a new one of the same model or a different machine altogether, at no cost to me, even though the manufacturer might not reimburse them! I decided on a new machine and their technician still came out and repaired my current machine until the new one could be delivered so that I could have an elliptical while I waited. I think that the true test of a business is how they treat customers when things arent going right, and I have never experienced such amazing customer service! Even with all the elliptical bumps, I would buy from them again in a heat beat.

My husband and I went today and had a phenomenal experience. John guided us through the equipment and made recommendations based on our specific needs. We are very pleased with our purchases! Thanks John!

We just had a complete gym installed by these wonderful group of guys the other day. I cannot say enough great things about the experience we had from Matt, all the way down to the men who installed the equipment. They were all professional, courteous, knowledgeable and CLEAN. This is the second time we’ve had a home gym installed in one of our homes with them in the last 11 years and would highly recommend them to anyone.

This was the answer to our quarantine woes!! With the gym and yoga studios being closed, we needed to upfit a home gym stat! We had a wonderful experience at Charlotte Fitness Equipment and were able to keep exercising. Their weights are a little more expensive than the big box stores, but the quality was much better. This place is fantastic. We walked in on a whim, and we started looking at rowing machines. The owner came over, gave us all the info we needed, explained the differences, and there was zero pressure the entire time. We ended up buying an incredible water resistance machine, and we will be back for much more equipment. If you are in the market for anything home gym related I cannot recommend this place enough.

I must say this experience has been incredible!! The equipment was delivered with even questionable weather; Mike was superb. He set up equipment in a efficient amount of time and was able to answer all questions . I’m truly amazed.

He and his team were very professional, reliable, detail oriented, and they did a great job cleaning up at the end and carefully placed equipment where we asked. I had been doing a ton of research online about equipment and after several weeks had gotten frustrated with figuring out what we needed. I called Charlotte Fitness Equipment and spoke to Matt Huff on the phone. He spent 20 minutes with me on the phone talking through options, discussing my familys fitness goals, etc. Weve now put our initial home gym in place and plan to order more. Matt has been overly communicative through shipping delays due to COVID, proactive about delivery and setup and followed up several times to see how we are enjoying it once installed. Put me down as a lifetime customer. Exceptional customer service is worth its weight in gold and Matt is awesome.

When I walked into Charlotte fitness equipment I was greeted by Matt, who was super friendly and professional.  The store was clean and well laid out, which made it easy to take the equipment for a test drive.  While I was there, I didnt feel pressured into buying anything and could tell the staff there genuinely wanted to make sure they understood my needs and matched up me up with the right equipment.  The equipment Charlotte Fitness Equipment  offers is high quality equipment-- not the low quality stuff you would find at the big box sporting good stores.  Overall, I had a great experienced and bought an elliptical machine.  I have zero buyers remorse and would highly recommend Charlotte Fitness Equipment to anyone.  Ill definitely be going back for my future fitness equipment needs.

I have a small home gym and my elliptical was giving me some problems so I called Charlotte Fitness Equipment. They responded quickly and sent Michael out to do the repair. Not only did Michael fully repair the Elliptical, but he also did the regular maintenance on my treadmill and the elliptical. Michael was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I am 100% satisfied with their service and highly recommend Charlotte Fitness Equipment.

I was looking for an upright exercise bike. Upon arrival, I was the only customer in the store. There were three uprights in stock. I was only able to evaluate one, as the other two were not working properly and the sales associate was unable to figure out what was wrong. One would think a business owner would ensure all of the equipment that is out on the floor for demo would work properly. Sales associate watched the football game while I tried out the one that was working.

I recently visited Charlotte Fitness Equipment (CFE) about a noise issue with my Vision Fitness treadmill. While I hadn’t purchased the treadmill from CFE, Matt (store manager) was extremely patient and helpful in diagnosing the problem. I was especially impressed by his desire to resolve the problem and doing it in such a professional, customer-focused manner. When I asked about advances in treadmill technology since buying my machine 14 years ago, Matt did a great job of pointing out these advances using the high-quality equipment in his showroom. He also helped match current equipment to my exercise/fitness objectives while answering all of my questions. Based on this very good experience, my next fitness equipment purchase will be from Charlotte Fitness Equipment!
