When I come here I always get two to three shoes because they have good shoe deals. It is always peaceful when shopping and organized in the mornings on a weekend. Clean tidy just how I like it. Such a clean place to take kids for shopping!

Famous Footwear Outlet at Tanger Outlets in North Charleston is a great source for all things quality shoes at really good prices. I have had a really good experience shopping here and have been happy with all of my purchases. I really like the selection and am able to find something every time I come in here.

I think the company’s policy on masks is undermining the purpose of the store and that is to sell customers shoes. Obviously “dead men don’t buy shoes” but harping on customers to constantly pull up a mask when they are in their own space trying on shoes is overkill on the attendant. Keep in mind the store attendant NEVER helped us find shoes! She was more concerned about mask policing the customers!

Well the outlet itself is alright but I want to share my experience. I ordered a pair of Vans from their website for my daughter for Christmas. The shoes came with two left feet and both were different sizes. So I came to the outlet to exchange, I showed them to the cashier, I told her what was wrong, she looked at them and said, They came dirty like that too, implying that my child wore a pair of shoes with 2 left feet. I said Uh, well she couldnt wear them so she didnt do it, I dont know what you are trying to say. She was like, Well, I can only give you half the price and we dont have those kind here. I said Whatever maam, thats fine. Needless to say I wont order anymore shoes from Famous Footwear. They had one job, a pair of shoes, and couldnt get that right, 2 left feet and 2 different sizes. Luckily there is also a Vans outlet here at Tanger Outlets North Charleston.

Im so upset because I forgot the employees name i think its Ed but when I tell u his customer was off the fricking charts 👍👍👍 we will definitely come back to gets shoes even if we dont need them just for the customer service he truly deserves a raise thank u 🙏 so much

I ordered 3 pairs of shoes for my grandkids on line. One pair did not fit so I went to the store to exchange them. I got a buy one get one half price deal when I ordered. They were still having the sale in the store along with %15 percent off I did not get online. The sales lady Tamara was so nice. She helped me find the right fit for my hard to fit grandson. She was so good with him. She was very professional but friendly at the same time. When she did the exchange process she returned all 3 pair, (because they had been purchased together) then resold them to me. She gave me the additional 15% off on all three pair. We got a pair of shoes that cost about 7 dollars more than the ones I bought originally and I got an 18.00 refund on my debit card. I will be returning and when I do I hope Tamara is there.

While my daughter and I were trying to enjoy our shopping experience it was hard to do so with the staff treating us as if we were trying to steal. The young man seem to be ease dropping on our conversation which was fine except when I didnt get the loafer that I tried on he walked pass me and said youre passing them up and I responded yes. While my daughter and I were shopping the clearence another worker came over, stood between us and said she was just going to straighten up after a busy day. Of all the places in the store to straighten it was there that you needed to start. I quickly told my daughter that I would wait for her up front while she decided on some sandals she was trying on. While waiting up front another co-worker comes over to me and says could she help me with anything and I said no and she seemed a bit nervous. I have worked in the retail industry for more than 30 years and I know customer service from I think you are here to rip my store off. I am a Pastor for one, a retired mother of 3 and a grandmother of 2. I could have made the purchase many times over or further more my daughter offered to buy the shoes for me but the real reason I declined the purchase was because the shoes had been worn and that was the only pair in my size. The over attentive customer service didnt help at all! I know genuine friendliness and that was not it!

Very impressed. I recommend this place today actually. I doubt Ill buy shoes anywhere else for the most part. All popular brands.

Employee was super nice. I was exchanging a pair of shoes I had bought. I didnt like that I was not able to use the same coupons on the exchange that I used on the first purchase.

I always find something in this store! Great selection of boots this year! I came in to shop for shoes for work. I was greeted and checked on by 2 different associates during my visit. At the register, the nice lady who rang me up (forgive me for not getting her name but her assoc # is 253945) was polite and friendly and had a smile on her face the entire time she helped me. She seemed to know her way around the register well and rang up my purchase in a quick, efficient manner while trying to conversate with me at the same time. I felt like her demeanor and mannerisms towards me were very genuine and kind! Please recognize her for making my experience great!

Famous Footwear is one of those stores you go to when you really looking for a cheap shoe. They have great deals and they usually have that BOGO thing going on but just make sure you check the sticker price as well cuz some of them dont apply to certain shoes.

The staff was very helpful and the best part of the store. The selection was ok... there was a few styles that would have worked for me but only one was in my size.

Staff are so friendly and helpful, willing to offer HONEST advice and opinions and will assist you with coupons. Also the only place that I know of to get Italian Shoemakers brand - the best for sandals that I know.
