The donuts and coffees are incredible! This adorable little donut shop is a must! We came through here on a holiday weekend so it was a little crowded, there is limiting seating - so we just ordered and left. I wish we would’ve been in the area longer instead of just passing through because I’ve been craving their donuts and coffee every morning since. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and quick. The shop was very clean and just smelled delicious!

Gourmet doughnuts are always tricky business because they tend to come with a steep(er) price point for what youre getting. That said, I enjoyed the two donuts I had here. I got a classic glazed and chocolate icing with sprinkles donuts ($2.75) . Both tasted good. I enjoy supporting a women-owned business and definitely would like to try some of the more fun options on a future visit.

I got a pumpkin filled french maple toast donut and a dirty elephant. Both were simply marvelous and the staff was very friendly!

Awesome..so many options.and vegan/gluten free also! Good coffee, pleasant people. A great quick stop in. I got a maple bacon, which was awesome. Supposed to have bacon in the dough? It was pretty 🥓 🥓!! Hubs had a honey bun - yum.

They have a great selection of donuts but it was difficult to know what donuts were available without going to the store. The website didn’t really help in that regard so I was a little disappointed when both the donuts I wanted weren’t available. But, the donuts are really good. The surprise winner for me was the tiramisu donut. It looks really decadent but it’s not as rich or as sugary as it looks. I’d definitely recommend get a dozen and sharing them with friends.

A unique, taste enriching, sweet tooth lovers experience. Glazed has exotic flavors and the flavors I got to try did not disappoint. I loved how soft and chewy the orange chocolate donut was. It’s also vegan as an FYI. The almond biscotti donut is also a very fun flavor. The glazes in each of the donuts are very sweet but not crackly or overbearing with icing in texture. Highly recommend this place a visit while in Charleston.

We purchased a Charleston Tour pass and used it on 8/16. I was a little taken back when one person told me that they only offered one type of donut as the free donut with the pass and that they had run out. After explaining to the cashier we came from 2 hours away, she then called the owner who told us to pick whatever donut we wanted. The donuts were absolutely amazing! I would recommend this place to everyone!

This doughnut shop was delicious! I tried the five spice doughnut, Alfajores -its filled with a dulce de leche cream cheese filling, vanilla bean glaze, toasted coconut, and topped with a homemade alfajores cookie, an apple fritter, and a chocolate stuffed doughnut.All were so amazing and the fact that they have new flavors all the time makes me wish we lived nearby! A must stop when in Charleston!

As a self-described donut addict, I can say - without hesitation - that these are some of the best donuts I’ve had anywhere. If the powdered chocolate filled is on the menu during your visit, do yourself a favor... Get it.

The donuts are amazing. Something that once u get started, you won’t be able to stop! But go early, they sell out really fast. We went close to lunch time and they were mostly sold out!! That’s how good they are!

Great artisanal donuts. We checked it out one morning and they were sold out of the chocolate icing with sprinkles but said they were dipping more in a few minutes. No big deal in waiting, got a fresh dipped donut and it was delicious 🤤

This may in fact be one of the most epic donut shops I’ve ever been to. The flavors are amazing and the staff is super friendly. So delicious!!! We went in the morning and it wasnt packed at all! We got some delicious donuts and their iced coffee was also great! The donuts were very fresh and soft! They have a bunch of different flavors, too!

Best donut shop I’ve visited in a long time. Everything tastes handmade in the best way possible. The glazed was to die for. We also tried the lemon old fashioned, chocolate with sprinkles and a strawberry French toast. These weren’t too terribly sweet which I loved. The bread was light as well. Definitely coming back to this gem

Really unique donut and coffee shop tucked in on King Street. Donuts were really good, and fresh. Apparently the flavors change regularly which adds to a return visit. Great place to stop for donuts!

When we arrived it seemed most options were sold out. The option I did choose, I believe it was vanilla, was good but not great as the doughnut itself was a little on the dry side. Not sure if there are better options in Charleston though so if you’re craving a doughnut this is probably your best bet.

These donuts were delicious! The donuts themselves were pillowy soft and tasty, and the flavors were executed very well. Recommend the raspberry and the apple bacon fritter.

These things are pure kryptonite. I got the Maple Bacon as it was impossible to turn away. I had regrets though... I wished I had gotten the Charleston. Maybe next time we pass through.

Celebrate with Glazed Gourmet. Not only are their donuts delicious, but they make amazing and beautiful cakes too! They catered both the cake and donuts at our wedding and they were a hit. Stop reading this review and go get yourself a donut already. You wont regret it.

Stopped in July 31st (been meaning to write this sooner), the counter was upbeat, friendly, and the donuts were soooo good! Apple fritter donuts were the regular item and the LTO was the White Chocolate Key Lime Pie donut which was a really decadent treat!

My boyfriend popped in here while we were passing through town on a road trip. He gave me a bite of his doughnut and I made him go back in to buy me one :)The shop was clean, girl at the counter was so kind and the doughnuts were amazing! This spot is absolutely worth stopping in!

Hands down my favorite donut shop! The dough is always fried to absolute perfection and the flavors and fillings are always spot on!! Their weekly special donuts are always killer but don’t overlook their regular flavors, they’re equally amazing!! And it doesn’t hurt that they have a super friendly and helpful staff!

Super cool donut shop. Saying a donut shop is not enough. They go above and beyond with gourmet donuts. I had a gluten free chocolate peanut butter that was awesome. If you can say a GF donut is awesome, you know they know what they are doing. The place is very casual and comfortable. They even made me a decaf espresso latte.

The doughnuts were good, definitely beyond typical store-bought, however, we had gone based on several recommendations and a lot of hype, and the doughnuts did fall a little short of the image pit in our minds. Still a good option and worth a stop when in town.

These were good donuts, different, I think they are all baked rather than fried. So maybe a touch healthier alternative. But Im a Krispy Kreme fan...its a cute place, and has some different choices than many donut places have. Also friendly staff, and the tables etc. Were kept tidy.

Giving 5 stars is extremely rare for me. The staff here made the difference. The donuts were good the people are phenomenal. Will definitely be back.

The staff was nice but as a doughnut connoisseur I would be lying if I said it was the best or in my top 5. They are good and definitely have some unique and original spins on dougnuts but the test is always and will always be the PLAIN GLAZED doughnut and thiers is just...decent. I also had the cinnamon/sugar twist, the brownie and the Boston Cream (which was amazing, I recommend). Not bad but not good enough to make another trip.

Im not usually a fan of donuts even though Im otherwise sweettoothed - but this place has really amazing ones - light and fluffy donuts with a decadent but not overly cloying glaze. Just perfect. I had the chocolate with sprinkles and the orange old fashioned, and loved both. They have a lot of other varieties, from bacon to vegan ! Chose a nice chai latte to wash it down with. They also have a good amount of seating inside. Bonus is theyre located in a very nice part of the city, so grab a donut and gawk at all the beautiful buildings on king street if youre visiting ! Just wish they were open past 3pm though :)

I love doughnuts, I seek out doughnut shoppes every time I visit a new city and these were some of the best Ive had. The doughnut was fluffy without being empty, doughnut friends you know what I mean. I glazed were sweet but had great flavors. My favorite was the blueberry and blackberrie glazed.

The purple goat is over of the best donuts Ive had. I used to travel to NYC to the Donut Plante because I love donuts that much.

Im really confused to why this place has such amazing reviews. These were not the best donuts Ive ever had. We were visiting Charleston for a short trip and I had read about Glazed Gourmet Doughnuts. So we made sure to grab some before heading back home.Cute minimal style doughnut shop.I got in around 11am, and they were already sold out of most flavors. So options were slim. We got raspberry and a honey bun.The donuts were a little dry and the frosting was so overbearing. It really didnt taste much in flavor but sweet. We each took a couple bites and threw the rest away. I am such a doughnut girl. But these were by far, NOT the best Ive ever had. They look much better than they taste.Overrated.Overpriced.

Each time I go Im always delighted by their unique selection of mouth-watering flavors. Glazeds vegan donuts are the greatest because theyre always super moist and delicious. The vegan Hummingbird donut includes pineapples, coconut and nuts, and their Birds Nest glazed donut for Easter consists of cheesecake flavored cream cheese and coconut. Be sure to get there early. They sell out fast!

I ate the doughnut so fast I couldnt get a picture! The goat cheese and lavender is an odd team but it was delicious!

We visit SC from Connecticut once a year or every other year, and we always stop a couple times when we can. This trip we went 3 times: one day they had all their flavors left, the next they only had one flavor left. The woman was telling us how the day before they had a lot left and that day they sold almost everything by 10AM! (They do sell out to ensure fresh product!) We tried that one flavor, the cherry cobbler, which we would not have tried if it wasn’t the only flavor left; the donut was amazing! We decided we had to go again, so that we could get a box to bring home/for the drive. I don’t think there’s a single bad flavor. Make sure you get coffee to go with your donuts, as the coffee is great! Just like your visit to Charleston is not complete without visiting the pineapple fountain, your visit to Charleston is not complete without visiting Glazed Gourmet.

Bacon apple fritter was perfect. I cant see how it could be better. Fluffernutter was also delicious. I didnt think this place would live up to hype, but it did. Plus the service was quick and very friendly.

I’ve eaten at a lot doughnut places across the south when traveling. This is far by the best place Ive visited. These gourmet selections were absolutely delicious. We tried several different ones that were available and we were not disappointed in any of them. We’ll definitely make it a point to come back when we visit the area again.

Funky little corner of Charleston that was fun to visit. The donuts have a slight yeasty flavor that my little kids didn’t like as much as the big donut chains. They had some fun flavors.

Bummed. Open till 3pm, drove 35 min - arrived at 12:50 to find they only had 2 remaining chocolate glazed donuts! They didnt even look fresh.What a disappointment.

After looking over several specialty donut shops in the larger Charleston area, I decided to go here based on reviews and my ultimate destination to Trader Joe’s. While it wasn’t exactly on the way, I was looking forward to the sweet detour. The service was prompt and friendly, practicing safe social distance during this pandemic. The shop looked clean, and the aroma heightened my anticipation of deliciousness. I picked six, which included an enormous apple fritter. However, the bill came to $23 with tax, which I thought was expensive. “These must be exceptionally gourmet, and they are a rare treat for me,” I thought. While they were gourmet and tasty, my expectations were higher based on what I have described.

This place is so awesome that we will drive all the way from Columbia to get our maple bacon fix!

Unfortunate.  I tried to contact them three times to ask about setting up a gluten-free order.  Emailed Wednesday, no response.  I get it, probably busy.  Called the shop Friday, a nice woman there answered, advised shed have the owner or manager call me back over the weekend to confirm it was doable.  Didnt hear anything, but again, I get it, probably busy.  Called Wednesday and got the same woman again.  She apologized, super nice, told me it still should be doable, what it would cost me, advised she or the manager would call me back yesterday or today because she still needed approval from the manager to proceed.  Still nothing.  I wish I could comment on their product, but unfortunately I cant.Edit: Still no word since I last called them on 8/26/20, but on the bright side it forced me to come up with an alternative. Made gluten-free cannoli for the first time. Came out surprisingly close to regular ones, was super happy with the results.

I will start by saying I love doughnuts......... really love doughnuts. I have had doughnuts from all over the US and overseas. Just because something is round and has a hole in it doesnt make it a doughnut. I love old-fashion doughnuts, raised, baked and fried but some of the doughnuts I bought and sampled was in fact not doughnuts to me or my accompanying friend. The texture was strange on one ( I think it was called cranberry something other. The pink one on the provided picture. ) which tasted and felt like it was undercooked. It was like eating dough. While another one simple S shaped sugar tasted very good and had a nice texture and not overly sweet which to me is a good thing. Another one had a nice old fashioned cake texture and taste which the cake part wasnt overly sweet but the icing was. Lastly, these doughnuts are very expressive. I dont mind spending for good doughnuts but, I dont feel these are worth the price. They are very pretty though. The counter people were nice too.

3 of 5 doughnuts that we wanted to purchase were not available but were on the menu. Their featured latte “The Bees Nees” was also not available but was listed as their featured latte. Hot chocolate tasted like warm milk with hint of chocolate. Donuts were subpar at best.

This place has such a nasty staff with bad attitude... I normally don’t write reviews but this just needed one.I called in to ask if they do delivery.. the lady hangs up right away for absolutely no freaking reason other than not knowing...I called it 5 times again until someone else picked up while seeming really bothered “how can I help” without any “hello” or anything..I politely said I got hung up on...and she gave 0 sh#tI don’t care how fancy your donuts are but if you have that unreasonable attitude that no thank you

Popped in for a little sweet treat this morning - definitely knew I was getting a Raspberry (my fave!). I couldnt decide between the Lemon Old Fashioned or Cinnamon Twist for a second one to take home to my husband. I was enjoying chatting with the gals working and asked which they would recommend... I ordered the Lemon for my second one and then to my surprise and delight they sent me home with both - the Cinnamon Twist complimentary as well!Now THIS is the kind of good vibes and love spreading that we need during these weird times!!! Simple acts of kindness that can make someones day.Thank you Glazed Gourmet, you know Ill be back!!

The little shop was incredibly cute and seems like such a fun place. All of the doughnuts looked delicious, even if a little on the expensive side, but that is to be expected downtown. I had the honey bun and while it was delicious at first, it definitely appeared to be underdone as you got closer to the center which was a tad disappointing. My friends got the chocolate with sprinkles and the Bailey Irish Cheese Cake and both seemed to be very happy with their decisions though.

Absolutely amazing donuts with great flavors. The line speaks for itself on how delicious these are. We ordered many different flavors and everyone of them were fantastic for our bachelorette.

Definitely would’ve given more stars - however all of the items we purchased that had bacon in it (Maple bacon doughnut, apple bacon fritter) were a complete letdown 😭😭😭. The bacon was burnt crispy (see picture below) - leaving a very, very unpleasant taste!! So that was definitely disappointing. I don’t mind paying the “gourmet” price - but at least make sure it’s palatable. Given that those items were store recommendations it made the experience even more underwhelming . The non-bacon doughnuts on the other hand - incredible!! A+ on those.

Update, in response to the owners reply (thanks for replying!): we found you via searching on Google for Gluten Free options in Charleston. We didnt/dont follow your social media, being visitors to the city. Your shop rightly showed up in these results because you have reviews that report you as offering GF doughnuts, which is a cherished rarity. We didnt know to dig deeply into or follow your social media posts to try and determine if/when you would have these in stock. If were back in Charleston on a Friday well aim to visit and enjoy your GF options, not that we know. In the mean time, I think it would be helpful to your customers and to your business to clearly post on your Google Local description and on your website when you expect to have, and expect to *not*n have GFR options, since it is so highly sought after. Or... just have more GF options available everyday and make your business that more popular because, as you recognize, GF doughnuts are highly sought after and highly enjoyed by those who cant have a regular doughnut :)Be warned, Gluten Free is ONLY on Fridays, which isn’t mentioned until you drive an hour into the city on a Saturday morning with a car full of kids, park, get into the store, wait in line and finally get to the counter 😢Otherwise a great shop. Staff are friendly and I’m sure the GF is great, when it’s available. Why not make them every day! 🤔

They always have the most creative flavors! Like cookie dough and a drive in theater that has caramel corn on top! My favorite flavor is the black and white donuts! The staff is super friendly and always are working hard! Do yourself a favor and try the dirty chai elephant latte!

I visited from out of town, and found this doughnut shop while walking down King Street. They serve a selection of housemade doughnuts with interesting flavors. Gluten free is offered on Fridays, and they have one or so vegan flavor available. I had a lemon glazed old fashioned. The glaze was perfect, not too sweet and with a strong lemon flavor. The old fashioned wasnt heavy, which I appreciated. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere inviting and cutesy, and you could order coffee drinks as well. Worth checking out if you want to get away from the chain stores and have a doughnut the way they should be made.
