A charming little Cafe where you can have Coffee, pastries and many flavors of Gelato. Very cozy atmosphere with indoor and out door seating.

We adored this little shop.We didnt know if we really wanted to go originally - it was late and we had already tried to go to a different ice cream shop only to find it closed. 😢But, we are so glad the other shop was closed so we discovered Caffe Romeo instead. The gelato was delicious! It was adorable and well presented. Also parking was easy and free unlike anywhere else we had been that day.It made our night.

Went there for the gelato. Homemade flavors. Whats there is fresh, because the flavors rotate. Wasnt happy that the server cross-contaminated the flavors (did not rinse the dipper before putting it in the next flavor), but once I got the orange off my chocolate, the flavor was great. Quaint house setting with a patio in the front, a sunroom and outside deck in a beautiful tree-lined setting. Will definitely go back when I visit again, Ill just ask for the dipper to be rinsed in between servings.

Our entire family loves this place. The wife and I love their cappuccinos and lattes and the kids love their gelatto. My wife and I also really enjoy their dairy-free sorbet. They have a variety of flavors and the service is always friendly and attentive.

Service was very kind, informative, and accommodating. Coffee was truly our best cup ever. Going back tomorrow to buy the beans. SB has nothing on this sweet cafe.

Cozy little gelato shop with a great selection of house made sweets and coffee. Can get pretty busy and parking can be an issue, but take a chance and make it happen. Dont be afraid to mix and match flavors in one cup or come.

Ive eaten gelato all over this country and this is the BEST gelato spot Ive EVER been to. If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I luckily ended up meeting the owner and he is just as awesome as the gelato. He uses all REAL ingredients and you can tell. Mario cares so much about the minor details in everything. I love this place so much and I feel grateful to have experienced this in my life.

10 stars if possible. Some of the best gelato you will have in both the States AND in Italy. Mario is so friendly and kind, and his heartfelt touches around the café are obvious. Great indoor and outdoor seating options, delicious selection of flavors, as well as traditional Italian coffees and chai tea available, etc.

Fantastic espresso and gelato. Try the raspberry sorbet! Mmm….. Red Velvet, Cookies & Cream, Fior di latte, they’re all delicious. If you’re in the area, stop by. The lady who helped us informed us the owner is from Naples and makes the gelato and sorbe himself. When you go, stop in the back for the gorgeous views from their sitting area.

Best Place for frozen treats!

My friend took me here because she was shocked that i had never been. The gelato was absolutely to die for and I also ended up interacting with the owner. He was very sweet and so welcoming and his overall demeanor made my experience just that much more enjoyable. Will be coming back soon !

After reading all of the overwhelmingly positive reviews of this place, I had to come and check it out to see if it really was that good.. and let me just spoil the ending of this review for you: yes, and then some. Absolutely the best gelato Ive ever had. Very reasonable prices for such high quality treats, and enough flavors to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. The red velvet is out of this world! Ill definitely be back when its a little warmer outside.

Best espresso! I drove 5 hours for a bag of beans! Seriously, driving from Stafford, VA to Olathe, KS. Told my husband we HAVE to stop, non negotiable. (Id discovered this gem while here on business.) I got a large bag of beans and a large cup of espresso. There was a lady in front of me getting multiple containers of Gelato and pastries. Apparently , she is a local who is a regular customer. I also got a cup of cinnamon Gelato, 😋. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

My brother and I absolutely love to go here as often as we can! The couple that owns this shop are so sweet and wonderful to talk to. I have never had a bad item from here, everything had always been amazing! I cannot recommend this place enough! The gelatto is always great and the price is really good for such good food. The sitting area behind the register is great to sit and talk or read at. I cannot stress it enough for everyone to try Caffe Romeo!!!!

A wonderful coffee shop, one of the hidden treasures of Charleston. They have a nice book selection and a quiet area to enjoy your cup. Their gelatos are very good and they allow you to sample each. I am updating this review from 4 to 5 stars because of the consideration of the owner and the care they personally devote to each of their customers. I wish the city supported more buisnesses like this.

We came to town to visit our kids They brought us to this lovely shop. I went on a date with my boyfriend and we stopped here. The place is relatively small but they have a fantastic selection of gelato and other treats. The prices are amazing and the service was amazingly friendly. I will definitely be returning and I have been recommending this place to everyone all day and will continue to do so.

Is there any place in the US that doesnt overcharge for gelato? This place certainly isnt it. That said, the gelato is good, the real, authentic cappuccino is well-made, when the atmosphere is very warm and inviting and relaxing.

A corner bookshelf full of adoptable books sits amidst various seating - couches, tables and chairs.. Not to mention the two outdoor spaces, both of which feel like a little refuge among the trees. Could not recommend this South Hills jewel enough, whether youre looking for a delectable gelato or just a cozy spot for a coffee and pastry in the afternoon.

My girlfriend and I stopped in today for some gelato. She had never had it before, and I just couldnt continue to date her with that type of negativity. There were about 3-4 parking spaces beside this converted home to business, but ample parking roadside across from it. It is located in a cute house, and when you open the door you are created with the smell of fresh coffee and espresso, as well as the sight of around 10 delicious gelatos. After a quick tasting, I decided on the whiskey cream, and she jumped blindly into a cheesecake flavored gelato. We both got a medium cup, that was topped with a pizelle and a little baby mini cone.The whiskey cream was phenomenal; it had all the soft notes of a whiskey, including the vanilla that is often lost when cooking with it. The cheesecake was very good too. Not too cream cheesey, not too sweet.I also picked up an americano. This, sadly was the low point. While you could tell the grind of the coffee and espresso were fresh, and the beans were of good quality, there was a metallic taste to it that is typically found in coffee that has been brewed too hot. Its was still very drinkable, but I know they can do better.The server/cashier made up for any downfalls with a chipper attitude, and a complete willingness to help.I will absolutely be back for more.

Everything about this gelato shop and Patisserie is perfect the gelato is delicious with lots of fresh and unique flavors, the authentic Italian pastries are simply divine, the outdoor deck and overall atmosphere is relaxing with a European flair. Charles the barista was awesome and Mario the owner so nice.
