The perfect thing to end a long hot walk in the city! I used to come here when I was a little kid on vacation and it was just as good as I remembered it! (The photo was on our walk back to our hotel)

Great for a quick sweet treat. Got the double chocolate ice cream. Its very good and chocolatey. No seating available but they have a very small patio in front of shop to enjoy your ice cream before hitting more shops.

Space inside pretty tight. No room for social distancing. We got the passion fruit slush drink, it was excellent. Can’t wait to go back later tonight for a cone. Workers quick and very polite.

Almost forty dollars to get ice cream for two people here...Was prepared to overpay and indeed I did but I wasnt prepared to feel bad a couple hours later. Not worth it. I could of bought 20gallons of reasonably priced iced cream from the grocery store and eat at my convenience for the next 3years. Dont overpay for this stuff.

Not the classic Ben and Jerry’s I know and love. Some of the staff don’t carry the Ben and Jerry charm that I am used to in other locations. I am a longtime Lover of the company and can not even count the number of times I have been to Ben and Jerry’s. This location however had some off putting staff that were somewhat snoddy (especially a younger fellow) , in Charleston South Carolina of all places ! (The holy city) Hoping for a positive change in the location, I will be returning to the holy city in a few months, will have to see if the staff has been revamped.

This place is amazing. I want to give a shout out to May. She went out of her way last night to provide me with a safe way to get awesome ice cream. Top notch customer service. Owners/managers take note, great product is one thing, exceptional customer service from a kind young woman, puts your business over the top. If I were you, I would do whatever it took to keep May on board.

Omg the ice cream is delicious. I was disappointed with the caramel macchiato shake. I was expecting a thick milkshake but it was watery like an iced coffee but not as good. The staff was pleasant and the store was clean.

Not the friendliest of staff but was able to accommodate our big party. I didnt like that you couldnt see the ice cream and no descriptions given for each kind. Hit or miss unless you know specifically which kind you like. Over rated and over priced but the family enjoyed it which is what mattered most at the end of the day.

This is my FAVORITE Ice Cream to buy at the supermarket, so when I came to visit Charleston, I had to come here. I got Half Baked (best Ben & Jerry flavored Ice Cream by the way). It was so good 😋☺️. I wish I had a Ben & Jerry’s where I lived, but then again that might be dangerous... I’ll just have to stick with getting it from the supermarket out of the freezers🤷🏻‍♀️. Great place though!

Ben & Jerry’s on North Market Street in Charleston is a great place to go for quality ice cream in the middle of everything. This is a good place to go for dessert after a dinner out or during the middle of the day for a treat. The staff here is very friendly and patient and works hard to make sure that you get everything that you want. I have consistently had a really good time here and they are well worth the visit for good ice cream.

As soon as I walked into the door Jay greeted me and was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He made our experience that much better. (Market street SC)

Was harassed by an employee for not wearing my mask correctly. She felt comfortable enough to call me out for wearing it INCORRECTLY because of my young age. The same employee said NOTHING to the 5 other older women whom she was directly communicating with who had their masks completely off and hanging on by their ears. I went to 2 other Ben and Jerrys while on vacation and noticed employees also wearing their masks exactly how I had mine on. Felt she just liked telling YOUNG people what to do. Wouldnt recommend.

A traumatic experience, service wasnt good at all and the banana split was from gold or what? 20.00 dollars for a banana split and a simple ice cream? No way! Thankyou for being stolen at ben and jerry and the taste wasnt good either.

The location was very convenient in Charleston’s historic market area. The standard Ben & Jerry’s ice cream selection and more. There’s not a place to sit inside that I saw but it’s a good stop if you’ve been touring around all day and need the sweet pick-me-up.

The workers are so nive and they have the best ice cream i have ever had. my recommendations are the oreo milkshake and strawberry cheesecake smoothie, so good :)

Amazing selection

Was not pleased with their scoops! A young white girl fixed me two scoops of ice cream, but it had one scoop and a half a scoop and she didn’t fix it! Even after I showed her she just looked like so what. The black guy apologized for the ice cream and said next ask for him! I will not be returning there!

Ive never been to a Ben and Jerrys, nor do I eat the ice cream so I came with an open mind. There were three staff members working. There was a short line when my party (of 3) arrived, and it grow quickly. The staff were able to handle the line, and deliver quality service. I did not notice a public bathroom inside, the building is rather narrow. There is no inside seating, but there is a nice outdoor seating area. There was some landscaping which seemed nice and relaxing. Large trees and the buildings around the outdoor seats gave a lot of shade during that time (about 4 pm).If I find myself in that area of Charleston, Ill revisit.

Every time we go here we get what we want plus the service is great!

I stopped into this Ben and Jerrys on a cool March day, so the store was not too crowded.Its WAY cheaper to buy this ice cream at the grocery store, so I only get it at the scoop shop a handful of times each year. Plus, the flavor I like (cookies and cream) is not sold at the super market!My common complaint is how small the sundaes are for the expensive cost. However, I felt like the portion size here was a bit bigger and I like that it was served in a larger container so it would be less messy to eat.I was in and out of here fairly quickly and the people working here were polite.This scoop shop is not too far from the City Market. My husband enjoyed the candy/nut store next door.

Horrible customer service. Walked in at 10:20 with an 11:00pm closing time and they rolled their eyes so we left

$16 for 2 waffle cones and the ice cream was 2 inches below the top of the cone. I wont be back!

Even though its a chain, its one of the few around, so its a great place to stop and get the best ice cream around. The people are so nice, so it just puts the icing on top of the cake or the whip cream on the ice cream, I should say.

Product is good. Service was lacking, and the prices were outrageous. A small cone with two small scoops was $7.... 3 stars for the quality of the final product.

Everyone enjoyed their ice cream. I loved the non dairy chocolate chip cookie dough.

Do I even need to say anything? It’s Ben and Jerry’s! It doesn’t even need an explanation. If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars I would.

Teens running the place we’re extremely uncomfortable. Didn’t say a word when we walked in.

The chocolate therapy was to die for as usual. The folks in the shop were helpful with our two boys indecisive on what to get. It being a weekday night at the end of the year, it wasnt too busy... Big plus. But service and product were a big plus.

Very unfriendly and unwelcoming. You cant see any icecream, they are all covered with lids. Not a fan of this shop. Went down the street one block for ice cream. Great service and ice cream there.Sorry B&J, name can only get you so far.

I was in Charleston 4th of July weekend. The service was lackluster, prices were high and the server handled my cone and ice cream with no glove. I generally go each time I visit Charleston, I will go to Haagen Dazs, it’s my favorite brand and I never knew they were on the other side of the street. It’s been a tradition to visit Ben and Jerry’s.

Awful experience. My daughter and I were trying to get ice cream and the server skipped over us to the couple behind me. When I mentioned it the other server was very rude and argumentative. I ended up going down the street to The Fudgery where they had much better customer service and ice cream.
