Super cheap, bought a book for my PLC class. They are open later than the trident tech bookstore is, and they seem to have everything. Everyone is really friendly, and quick. The past times Ive been to the Trident bookstore, Im there at least 15 to twenty minutes because they take forever to ring you up, if theres even anyone standing at the register counter. I was in and out of Textbook Brokers in less than 3 minutes.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Human error is inevitable, however how you correct your errors and wrongs are what shows your willingness to serve your customers to the highest capacity. Gary , is every unreasonable and doesn’t manage his store or the errors of his employees very well. When your not willing to work with a customer and resolve and issue that your staff created , it’s bad.I advice anyone to shop around before purchasing books through the Rivers Avenue location. The inability to consider making things right for a customer who was taken advantage of shows that I shouldn’t do business with this company. Be very careful and or order from elsewhere before using this location.Be very Very Leary of revives of this location. A promotion is being offered with a Yeti to ensure they get “good reviews “ but it doesn’t highlight the truth about the bad customer service you will more than likely experience.A free yeti shouldn’t be a way to get try overturn bad customer service.

Everyone is so nice and friendly and asked if you need help with anything. As well as they do not shove or forcefulyl try to get you to buy something you do not need for classes. Like my last experience from a prevous store I went to before textbook brokers.

Price online was cheaper then it store. They were nice and quick and adjusted the price to match online.

They are always courteous and very helpful. The prices are excellent and you can rent the books you don’t want to keep.

I was very impressed by the level of professionalism, knowledge and willingness to communicate and listen. Although I was unable to Sell or Trade any of the text books I happened to bring in, he was very willing to take the time and verify each book I produced. As well as going as far as explaining to the best of his knowledge the reasons why they were not able to, which was no surprise to me... There age coupled with the facts that they often print updated versions of most text books being used. This brought some new questions to mind about our current methods Academicians utilize to teach and learn from.. Not at all an issue with this company but a damn awesome and rewarding one to say the least... Keep up the good work!!!

My experience with these guys had been great. Friendly staff, and they have always had the book in stock. Multiple options as well; new, used, rent. They have been cheaper then trident bookstore and mostly keep up with online pricing. Some times online wins by a hair, but I would rather have a store I can walk into and talk to someone rather then email.

Textbook Brokers have been great! I have purchased all of my textbooks from them while at Trident Tech. They have rent or buy options which provides a cheaper option and the costs are significantly less than the school bookstore. Staff is friendly helpful and gets you in and out quickly. I highly suggest purchasing your books from the store.

I’ve been using Textbook Brokers while taking summer classes at Trident Tech. I’ve purchased books to keep, rented, and sold books back to them. The customer service and better prices makes it worth going over there rather than to the official Trident Bookstore.

Every time I come into Textbook Brokers for my books, the employees at this shop make the experience a little less painful (books for college are NOT cheap lol!). They are always quick to help and can answer all questions and concerns thrown their way. They assist those who need to use financial aid for their books and are always SUPER friendly! I love Textbook Brokers!!

Really great place, the staff here is super helpful and the prices are about the same for any textbook store. Good thing here though you can rent them and even sell back your books. They sell more than just textbooks, you can buy cheap posters and shirts. They mainly work with trident technical college students so I dont know if they will have select books for other colleges but always ask they can find it. Great place.

Very good source for school books. They have everything for Trident Tech and some from other schools. Pricing is better than competitors and renting of materials is available at an even lower cost.

This place is amazing!! Literally have been shopping for books online instead of the book store of my particular college that I attend and they charge too much. This place helps you save soo much money and the best part is, it is convenient. Literally will be purchasing all future textbooks from these guys. Colleges are rip-offs.

Best off-campus book store in North Charleston. They have very reasonable/competitive prices, and you can rent the books you need, instead of having to purchase them.

I love coming to textbook books for my books cheaper and More affordable.

Always cheaper than on campus and they buy back custom TTC books! They know exactly what I need especially if an access code is required. Last semester I tried to buy my books online but none of them had codes. Its just easier to come here first and save myself the headache.

And they were nice. Apparently only one location. They were friendly, they only take college books. Not aesthetically pleasing, but its just for buying and selling books.

They chared me 70 dollars for a new psych 201 textbook, that looked like a car had run over it, when I got a brand new one on Amazon for 40 bucks. Do not reccomend.

I recommend them over the TTC bookstore any day. Staff is nice and helpful, NO ATTITUDES, and theyre not treating you like the grumpy lady behind the counter at the DMV!

I have been buying and renting my textbooks from TBB for the past 2 years. Their service and prices are always great!

Beware of these scam artists. I bought a book from them for $124. Came back 7 weeks later when the semester was over to sell my book back to them and they only offered me $20 despite the fact they will sell it to the next person for $100 or rent it out for $74. I understand you want some kind of profit for your business but you guys low ball people alot. If they are the only ones with the book and Trident doesnt have it they will jack their prices up because they are greedy. I bought an access code from them for $74. I no longer needed the code so I took it back. I didnt even take the sticker off so it looked 100% brand new. The guy offered me $10 for it. Really?? $10?? They only have a certain amount of days that they will even buy the book etc. back from you which lets you know they are a greedy sketchy business. They offered me $64 back for the code instead of doing the correct thing and giving me my full refund since not even so much as the tape was peeled off. I even had my receipt and the associate serving me caught an attitude and would say slick comments probably because I didnt accept his low ball offer. I will get my books from my school or Amazon who actually knows what good customer service actually is.

Honestly, youre not going to get much for you books but to me anything was better than having them sit in my house with me not using them. The staff was pretty helpful and the process was quick

Ive only been here once and I already have mad respect for these guys. They are so informal and honest about prices and what TTC is doing when selling these textbooks. Instead of paying $600 for my fall 1 textbooks, I paid $200 instead and now Im ready for my first semester of college. They give you all the options for what kind of textbooks you can get, either a book or a digital copy, theyll tell you whats more expensive and whats not. They also informed us about TTC automatically paying for your books and adding it to your bill and how to opt out. They know how this can be costly to students and how slimey it is, so they inform the students who shop there to opt out so they dont get charged massively just for books they already got here. That makes me believe they really care about the students and their finacial well being over money, and as a collegw student with little money, that means so much to me.These guys are awesome and I would recommend anyone going to college, especially TTC, to shop at here for their textbooks.

The prices are alright but I didnt think they had the best customer service. I had to wait in line awhile and it wasnt the cleanest building.

Way overpriced. Charged me $80 just to rent a book for 3 weeks when the cost of the book at the bookstore was only 40 but they were out of stock and werent ordering anymore because the next semester they were using a new edition so this was the last semester that this book was even valid and I felt like they took advantage of that situation.
