Had to stop for a wheel bearing repair on my way to OBX. Friday evening and one of the few places that could get me in. Scheduled me for first thing Saturday morning and got me in shortly after opening. Did the wheel bearing and when I left the ABS light was on. Picked my wife up at the hotel and stopped back at the shop. The mechanic said he new what was wrong so they pulled it back in. Came back and said it was ABS sensor broken but nobody had one in stock. I told them no problem I would fix it when I returned home. Just got it in to replace the sensor and found out the mechanic broke of the bolt for the sensor and put the hub in upside down so the sensor would not go in. I pulled it all back apart and fixed it. Very disappointed that the guy wasnt honest about what happened. The manager did tell me to send him the bill for the sensor and he would reimburse me. Just would like the mechanic to be more careful. I could fix the problem myself when I returned home but most people couldnt and would have had to pay again to fix the problem.

Monroe used to be very reliable, honest and professional. Hear me out... Before a trip I went in to have one of my hubs checked. Was told that I needed rotors all around for the bargain price of 700 bucks. Nah, I thought... Took my trip, returned and took my vehicle to brit tire. My issue was broken wheel bolts on the wheel I mentioned and parking brake shoes plus the new rim due to the needed bolts. No rotor issues at all. I wont be back.

Had a freak tire incident on Saturday morning on a vacation road trip. Monro was the only place we could find that was open. They immediately pulled our vehicle in their shop, quickly and confidently diagnosed the issue and had us back on the road in 30 minutes! Just super nice people. Were supposed grateful.

Had an urgent need for a brake job on a 2015 Colorado. I work crazy hours, but I called and they were able to fit me in.Staff was very friendly and they did a great job! No upselling and they were 100 cheaper then the dealer quote. Dealer left me hanging, told me theyd call when the pads came in. 3 weeks later, no call and it was getting dangerous!Thanks folks!

Got a quote to change my rear brake pads and it was exactly the amount I was quoted. Very efficient, friendly, and super fast. Didn’t try to up sell me on anything additional. I mentioned I needed new rims and they told me to come back and they would take care of that too. Will definitely be going back here for any work I need done. Great guys 10/10

Came in last minute in a rush for a new tire being that I had to travel 6 hours away. Was pleased with the service but frustrated bc I was charged $30 extra for a lifetime warranty on the tire that I didnt ask for and you didnt inform me about.. I didnt even notice it until i got hours away.. Please ask first before adding extra money to customers bill I didnt need this service. I already had a warranty on the tires I am waiting on at another shop. The tire I got here was only suppose to get me home. Other than that I had a good experience and thank you

My sister had a flat tire on the Saturday afternoon after Thanksgiving & when my fiancé and I went over to help her change the tire, the lug nuts were on so tight that he couldnt turn them even STANDING on the lug wrench! So I called the guys over at Munro because they were close. I asked if they would be able to change her tire for her & the gentleman that answered the phone said absolutely & that theyd be open until 5 pm. We put enough air in her tire & then followed her to the station.They took her vehicle right away. And they removed her tire, patched it, replaced it & also loosened the rest of her lug nuts on the other tires so that we wouldnt have to struggle next time we needed to change them. They had her finished up in 15 minutes. And it was only $35! Very, VERY pleased with the service here. Highly recommend Munro Auto Service and Tire!

I purchased 4 tires, had a State Inspection, an alignment, and tires balanced. The new manager , John, patiently answered all my questions. They did a great job.

We wound up stranded outside town during a cross-country road trip. We got towed up first thing on a Sunday morning and despite having a small staff and a day booked full of appointments they still got us in and got us on the road again as quickly as they could. I was amazed by the price and quality of service. I wish they werent several states away from my home so I could make them my regular mechanics! 10/10 would recommend.

After the change in management last month, theyve been a lot more reasonably priced and customer friendly. Jacob makes sure you get what you need, and at a good price. Theyre now the only ones I let work on my vehicles.

Just off the train overnight from Chicago, we discovered our brake caliper was frozen up and needed it fixed before a 2-hour drive home. It was Sunday morning, and we were so relieved to find this place open. Very professional service, in and out about as quickly as possible, highly recommended!

This place is AMAZING!!! My family and I were in an accident coming from Ohio headed to Hilton Head. We were scared to drive our vehicle in fear that it would be in need of major repair. So this is going to be a weird story, but Monro Muffler Brake really restored my faith in them. Okay, I was moving from Tennessee to Connecticut over Memorial Day weekend and my serpentine belt snapped on the highway. I got towed to Monro and they were closed an hour earlier than they said they were (stuck in this unfamiliar town with a shooting a block away). So I got a hotel and showed up in the morning. I explained the situation to Jackie (the first guy to show up) and he told me if I had the part he would do it free of charge! So of course I generously accepted and he got my car back up and running! Of course we still tipped him and we are headed back on the road. They were amazing! They really saved me this weekend with the unexpected events for sure! Thank you guys so much!

These guys are great!!! So my car broke down in Charleston last Sunday and I had to be in Michigan that night. Despite my not having an appointment, these guys fixed my car and got me on the road in time to make the trip. Plus, they did it at a very fair price!! Totally recommend them.

I have found the staff there to be very friendly and helpful. They are honest up front with what you need, and dont try to tack on extra, unnecessary repairs...even when its not good news, they try to tell you in a nice way.

First I was overcharged. I have a CT’s coupe. Back tires are wider than from and they put back on tires on front of car. The rims are noticeably wider. When I pointed it out. The mechanic said it was my fault for not telling him. So then I get in car and there was grease all on my carpet. So the manager gave me a oil change coupon. I had an appointment at 9 am. I sat there till 930 and they were not open yet. What s going on.

First time...honest to tell me about fix car. Second time...Im uncomfortable drove into garage for get air by my car tire. My car flat again after I drove on road. Disappointed. 😕

I’m a mom of two little kids a 4 month old & a 2 year old I first came in on 12/28/18 needing a oil change I informed the owner of the noises I had been hearing and he told me he would have someone look into it for me. Which then I was told I had a bad tie rod and my tires where wore badly and I needed a wheel alignment what was a oil change turned into all this so of course I did the work for $693.20 . As I was driving home I STILL heard the horrible noises I was telling him about in the first place so I went back 1-2-19 when they could get me in next to be told I had a bad wheel bearing on the drivers side ( I guess couldn’t find that when I did all the work days before ) in which he claimed was not heard when being worked on , there was no movement so on so forth so I got the job done another $101. I specifically asked 3 times please check everything as I do NOT want to keep coming back with little kids and having these problems. So he came back after the job was done and said it was about to be test drove , when he came back said they could hear noise yes I then asked about the right bearing once again and he said “seems to be” okay. This is after I’ve came back the fourth time with a video of the noise to prove that I’m not just crazy that I’m told today my right bearing is bad and it will be 335.00 to fix it !!!!!! But only charged me parts and not labor for the other but wants full price now . All along telling me it was differential fluid possibly making The noise and would not listen to my concerns as I said it isn’t . my tires sound like there gonna fall off any minute . So after spending nearly $800.00 at this place not a thing was accomplished I asked for and I’m left with the same issues .I don’t recommend this place !!!!!!! They just want your money !!! Why on earth should I have to come back 4 times with kids if you did your job in the first place I wouldn’t have had to. You cannot tell me you just hear noise just all of a sudden there’s been noise that has not changed you just overlooked it and didn’t do your job correctly !! Highly upset with The experience I have had this week!

I took my vehicle to Monro to have my emergency brake looked at. The technician stayed after work to look at my vehicle and had completed the adjustment to my parking brake in 15 minutes. The customer service was top notch.

Joe is an amazing manager, makes his customers feel at home. I spent over 1100 dollars on a complete brake overhaul, and they just couldnt seem to get it right. Monroes is advertised as brake and muffler. Two days of my life were taken waiting on them to fix their mistakes, and the only thing the regional manager Jason did was make excuses. Long time customer but wont come back.

Went in for a wheel alignment, they said I had a broken tire rod and it would cost $400.00 to fix.. Wrong.. I took it to another place they aligned my jeep with no problem and said the tire rod is fine... Shady shady

Dropped my company car off on Friday, told them I needed a new headlight, blinker and possible tune-up. Also needed it back by Monday morning. Had my vehicle for 50+ hours and didnt do anything. Service light still on, did not fix the lights, didnt even fill up whiper fluid. Come on guys. Car even smelled like smoke when I picked it up. I used to love this place and now theyre trash. Find somewhere else to go.

I scheduled an appointment for 12 PM to get a simple oil change done. I found a coupon online and you really cant beat the price, so I informed the employee that I would like to take advantage of the deal.I was told my truck would be ready within 45 minutes. So I got here at 12:45 and see that my truck still has not been moved.I sat down in the lobby to wait and at approximately 1PM they finally START working on it.So if you dont want to pay with your precious time, Id highly recommend not to mention that youre going to take advantage of their coupons. If they cant make money off of you, why hurry with the service, right?

Crooks!I took my car to them because my brakes were locking up. They told me it was my calipers. Paid almost $450 to replace them and 2 brake lines. My brakes still locked up. Then they told me that it was my master cylinder which was another $350+. They had to keep it overnight. I went to pick it up they had left the hood up all night which drained the battery. They tried to jump start it, but it wouldnt start. After they tested it my battery needed to be replaced and refused to replace it. It worked perfectly before I took it in to them. What did they do to my car? Their technicians forgot to finish the connections when they installed the master cylinder. What else did they forget to do? Will be taking it to another shop and possible legal actions may be taken.DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!

Shoddy run business, made an appointment for an alignment over the phone and the day of appointment after driving to shop, the guy working said that the alignment machime was down. How about a courtesy call to customers to let them know before driving 30 minutes? Took my vehicle to Firestone instead.

Read the reviews people! Google, Yelp, Yahoo...all bad reviews on this location. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because I was close by and went in to get my front brake pads changed. I made the appointment through their website and wrote in the instructions exactly what I was looking for. My appointment was at 4, when I got there, the one family that was waiting had been there for 2 hours to have their tires mounted. We were the only customers. They came and got my car at 5 and after waiting another hour, the clerk came back in and told me he could get me out of there for $450.00 (4 new brake pads, labor, and 1 rear Rotor). I know, shocker, a Brake Shop trying to throw in some rotors. I asked him why he had even removed my rear tires when I came in and specifically told him I wanted my front brake pads replaced. I told him I wasnt interested in buying their rotor that I needed and he refused to change my front brakes. I left without any work done. Ill go down the road. Buyers Beware, these guys are clowns.

I decided to come here to get my first oil change on my vehicle. They tell me the oil change will cost a little more because my car requires synthetic oil. I was thinking no big deal it cant be that much more, so I say okay. When its time for me to pay, the male working tells me its gonna be $87. Thats ridiculous & overpriced.

Highly recommend not working here. They do not care for their employees and will lie through their teeth to keep you there.

Paid 450 dollars and nothing was done to my exhaust plus they got the wrong muffler twice had to wait for weeks for nothing to even get fixed waste of time and money
