I go to Pierre for every repairs that my 7 cars need. He is amazing and his know-how, skills and professionalism are par excellence I dont drive cars that Pierre wont repair. Over the past 8 years, I have come to completely trust Pierres opinion and I would not be driving cars that I drive but for him. I recommend him in all aspects. After being less then impressed by my local Range Rover dealer service dept, I asked for referrals. Suspected a coolant leak and Pierre and crew checked it out and repaired the issue. He also performed a last minute oil change after I realized I was due the morning of my appt. 4x4 is near Enterprise Car Rental if you need a vehicle while your car is being serviced. Had my full fat L322 RR SC serviced here. Needed new control arms. Brought it to another Land Rover specialty shop for service and inspection a few times and they never picked up on it. Pierre was accommodating, knowledgeable, and up front with his pricing. The work was done and the final cost was not a penny over the estimate. Will be servicing my RR here from now on.

Pierre knows what he is doing. My Landrover needed Emissions and the software was not responding. The dealer gave me an appointment after 2 weeks and I could not afford the delay. Pierre not only fixed the issue but completed the Emissions and gave it back to me in a day. This is not the first time this shop has done a great job.

Ive only been here once but I am very happy with them. I took in my 04 Disco II for a 90K mile service and asked them to give it a good inspection since I had just bought it. Within 15 minutes he’d done a test drive and visual inspection and found a poorly spliced connection on a spark plug wire. There was no pressure to do any more work than I asked. He competed the work for a fair price.

This is the second time Ive used 4x4 Land Rover Service and Pierre and his mechanics provided excellent service repairs and customer service. They are reasonably priced as well; much lower than the Tysons Land Rover and Chantilly Land Rover dealerships. 4x4 replaced the timing chain tensioner the first time and just recently repaired the air suspension. Each time Pierre provided great service repairs in a timely manner for a reasonable price for the repairs on my Range Rover Sport Supercharged. Just to give you an idea about the cost difference between the Tysons dealership and 4x4 for the timing chain tensioner replacement...the dealership quoted me $11,500 which INCLUDED a $2,000 discount. 4x4 quoted me $6400 (with LR parts). I will continue to use 4x4 for any repairs that arent covered my extended warranty.

I have had both of my Land Rovers serviced at 4X4 (LR3 and Disco 2); Pierre and his team have consistently provided excellent support. Their knowledge of the vehicles means that they are almost always spot-on with their initial diagnosis of systems; they also know what to look for in the future so have provided great advice on prioritizing preventive maintenance tasks. Its clear that their approach is based on building repeat business. They recently went out of their way to accommodate me when i had an emergency and were able to quickly solve my problem so i could make my trip as planned. Just great all-around service.

The 4x4 Land team is outstanding. I took my LR4 in because the vehicle was pulling to the right, so I assumed I needed an alignment. Pierre took the vehicle for a drive, and recommended the least costly option first...rotating the front two wheels to see if it was a tire issue. Sure enough it was. Any other repair place might have just went through the alignment process and charged me for it, but not 4x4 Land! They always have the owners interests in mind.

Been a very satisfied customer for several years. They service both my Range Rovers (97 & 04). I live on the other side of DC, in Md but prefer to bring my car all the way here because of the honest and thorough service. They even take me to/from the metro or let me borrow their car in a crunch. Very good and honest people (2 brothers & their Dad) who you can easily develop a relationship with.

I have owned multiple make vehicles over the years. Regarding my past and current Land Rovers (two Discoverys and Defender), I always preferred to take them here. Share a passion for LRs, knowledgeable about mechanical and electrical issues, reasonably quick service time, honest, so wont invent additional problems or over sell. Over the numerous years, I found the quality is there while price is far better than a fancy shop or LR dealer service dept.

Sometimes it’s hard to remember when you’re coming here that this is a repair shop. Pierre treats his customers much more like friends than he does customers. He will take the time to properly diagnose and fix your problems rather than throwing parts at it like most shops do. I would not choose any other shop over 4x4 Land.

This shop has loyal LR owners from all over the east coast; one person drives from Florida to come here. Its hard to find true master LR mechanics outside of the dealership who arent overcharging, and you know this shop is a threat when the dealers post signs saying they will beat 4x4 Lands prices (which they dont). Always a pleasant experience, and never had to wait. The owner goes out of his way to make sure customers leave happy. I only wish everything in life were this awesome.Also, I hardly ever leave reviews for anything. Thats how amazing this place is.

Went to replace my fuel pump for $850 and ended up paying $420 just to replace the fuel filter and cover on my Range Rover. Very honest, and Im happy with the service. Ill repeat.

Had a steering system replaced in a 98 Cherokee in Jan 14. Just bought the parts and had them install. A few months later found out the sway bar links were installed backwards and snapped, the new track bar was shot and had to be replaced and theres a good possibility they kept my new steering box and installed or kept the old one in place, spray painted. These guys will rip you off. Avoid.

Although I dont have anything close to a 4x4, Ive been bringing my vehicles to Pierre and Alex for over two years now. I first went to 4x4 Land through a referral from a nearby shop that didnt have time for me the day I needed service, and Pierre was willing to figure out an electrical short causing my knock sensor to fail inspections (99 Honda Civic). Since then, Ive been coming back with a 2013 VW Passat and will continue to do so as long as theyre willing to work on my non-4x4s.Thanks Guys for the great service!

When you drive into a car workshop, and you see that all they work on is made by the manfacturer of the car you drive, you know they really, really know your car and what to look for. They arent a rock bottom price operation, but they are cheaper ( a lot) than the main dealer. All the family drive land Rovers or Range Rovers, which tells you a lot about their passion. I took my 2007 Range Rover HSE in because my dash had more lights than my Christmas tree and my engine fan clutch kept winding up the entire trip on Interstate 95. The guy at the front desk greeted me as soon as I walked through the door and asked what he could do to help. After explaining the symptoms, he grabbed the computer and linked it up to the Range. Discovered there were 11 errors which were being thrown from a low battery. He offered to change the battery or just have me drive it home and change it myself, in which I took the second option for time constraints on my schedule for the day. Charged me $0 and wished me luck but they just gained an additional customer that day!Keep in mind when I called Rosenthal Land Rover, they would have needed $180 to diagnose the problem and they wouldnt have been able to diagnose the issue until Monday (It was a Friday and no they didnt have any rental cars at this time).

LR3 in for some major work- a beauty emergesJust like those chasing the fountain of youth with a nip here, tuck there, some lipo and a lift....my 2005 LR3 with a 170k miles was in need of the same care. I stopped by 4x4Land to see the shop and meet Pierre and team. Felt very comfortable and saw their work, so decided to take the plunge.We knew some of the issues and needs, and had a few others pop up along the way. The work we did was mechanically- changed changed the plugs, timing chain and tune-up. We also replaced rear diff, replaced upper/lower control arms, replaced all bushings with poly, replaced front struts and suspension height sensors and wiring. During the work, found my rear drive shaft was toast. We also did brakes all around, HVAC actuator and replaced front light housing (had small moister ingress). Electrical work, fuses, burnt/shorts in fog lights...battery...you get the picture. Major work. Top it off, we put new rubber on the LR3 (Nitto TG G2s, this time going down in size to the 265, 60 18s). At the end of our stay with Dr. Pierre and team, I now have a LR3 that is good to go for another 75k-100k.Pierre and 4x4land source their parts at a competitive price and do not hit you up with unreasonable mark-ups, over inflated services like indoor cabin/pollen filter replacement charges. It is a small shop with many dedicated customers, so plan accordingly - our experience is that we can get in/services as soon as we need, but big jobs like my last one- will take time (a lot depends on supply chain issues!) Pierre and team communicates the progress of the job and are very thorough. I have definitely found a place I will continue to bring my LR and RR products to for service. I definitely endorse 4x4Land as an owner of a 2005 and 2016 LR3 and LR4, and past owner of 2100 RRS and L322
