*** Updated this review with photos. ***Im embarrassed to say it took me this long to wax my Camaro!)I was extremely pleased with every aspect of my encounter with Chantilly Maaco. Their price was very reasonable for the great amount of work they had to do on my car before they painted it, and the paint came out beautifully. Joe was great, and kept me well informed of their progress on my car. Maaco is lucky to have him on their team!

I got a quote from several bodyshops in the Chantilly area and all quoted me close to $1000 just to paint my rear window louvers and front grille for my Dodge Charger. Its as if they looking at the quote as an insurance claim and marking up the costs. I decided to try Maaco and they were half the price of the other competitors. I gave them a try and was impressed with the overall quality of the paint work. They closely matched the color of my factory Dodge color, PX8. Both pieces blend well with the entire car. They completed the work in 3 days and their customer support was good at this location. I would recommend them for paint work on auto parts.

I had an excellent experience with Maaco of Chantilly. The paint on my 2001 Mercedes E55 AMG had been fading away across the hood/roof/trunk over time once the clear coat diminished being a 20 year old car. It was in need of a total car respray. I shopped around at some very highly rated independent shops, but I could not justify spending 75-100% of the value of my car on their paint job services. One of them snarkily recommended Maaco implying I was being unrealistic with my expectations. I did some research and found Maaco of Chantilly had been under new ownership/management (Sam/Joe) and had excellent reviews of their work with the pictures to prove it. Both gentlemen are fantastic to work with and they are very customer oriented and straight shooters in my book. The old adage is auto painting is 90% prep and 10% paint always seems to pop up on my research, so I took liberties to disassemble more of my car (trim pieces, lights, rear bumper) to be painted off the car to ensure a little bit better job overall.I opted for the Premium Paint Service (Base/Clear coat) and the result was nothing short of my expectations. Sam came in on budget and even took my roof down to metal and primed it first so the result would turn out perfect and even across the car. Full disclosure there was some slight (and I mean very slight) overspray on various bits around the car, but this was conveyed and expected given how these jobs are done (Mask/Tape and spray). Any of the other shops I got estimates from also set expectations for overspray so i will not hold this against Maaco. Overall, I am supremely happy with the result and fully recommend this shop for your auto paint needs. I already have a few more paint projects in mind for my other vehicles and plan to use Maaco of Chantilly again without hesitation.

I have a 13-year-old Honda Accord and paint was beginning to peel off of the trunk lid. I brought my car to Maaco in Chantilly and Sam looked it over and gave me an estimate that was very competitively priced and affordable. The repairs were completed a day earlier than estimated, and my car looks outstanding, like new. Thank you Sam and the team at Maaco. I highly recommend them for your automotive painting needs.

I had decided to try this place after seeing all the gleaming reviews and can definitely say the high praise and rating for this location is justified.I worked with Sam to get a repair quote. He is as pleasant to work with as the reviews say he is: Kind, respectful, patient. He was up-front and not pushy at all. At no point did I feel uncomfortable, suspicious, hesitant, or any negative vibe in general. He took the time to explain the process they would use to repair my car in detail and answered any/all questions I had.Sam also took the time to show me on his computer how much various parts of my car cost. This had nothing to do with the damage on my car, he wasnt trying to sell anything or push any agenda. I was simply curious how much it would cost if I wanted to replace a headlight, bumper, or whatever piece/part in general and he gladly showed me everything.The work took about 5-6 days and when I came to pick it up, Joe (who I didnt work with as extensively as Sam, but also seemed like a really great guy) showed me the repair work. I am happy with their work. You can see before/after pictures below in this review. The original damage to my car included a dent, which may not be easily visible in the photos.While I was still there, I had pointed out various marks on my wifes car to Sam and he said that some of those werent scratches at all but scuffs that could be easily removed. He said hold on..., walked inside the shop, and emerged a minute later with a polisher/buffer and took care of whatever marks on the car that he could on the spot for no charge and without me asking him to do anything. It was very nice of him.Overall, I had a great experience and highly recommend this spot!

I went asking to have my 2011 Audi A6 repainted to give it a “fresh look” with scratches, swirls and 1 small but noticeable dent/deep scratch. They explained that a factory Audi paint job would be impossible to replicate for many reasons. They suggesting fixing the dent and major scratch and he recommended a really good detail job to fix much of the rest. Basically told me to spend less and recommend a better fix/option. They are all very nice and helpful - all the positive reviews are justified and they are worth your business.

Sam is a great guy, very friendly and easy to talk to. I had some major clear coat damage with some rust and dents in parts of the truck. Sam took care of this 100% by repairing some body damage and respeaying the whole truck making it look like new again! I could not have asked for a better paint job and Im very happy with the work they did!

Took my car to this Maaco location for a full body color change. They did a very good job with a few minor overspray spots, which were expected. Joe, the manager, is a pleasure to work with, outstanding customer service! If you a reasonable person, Maaco of Chantilly is a solid place to get your car painted, highly recommend.

This place is great. I received quotes from two other bodyshops and they were still about $500 more than what Maaco quoted. My E39 needed the hood to be repainted. Nothing fancy, since this was an 18 year old car, but something decent. Well, I got more than I could ask for. Not only did they paint the hood but they also touched up the bumper and fenders as well.The Maaco staff worked with me and had done within 1 day. I definitely referred my friends and will use them again in the future.

I picked up my BMW 330CI today and Im very pleased with the work done to my car by Maaco-Chantilly.As you see in the before picture, my car paint was peeling in multiple areas on the car, to include around the molding. The Trim around the windows and around the side view mirrors had fading and discoloration.After checking the reviews of several Maacos, the Chantilly location had the highest ratings. So I called the Chantilly location and spoke with Joe over the phone. I decided to take my car in to get an estimate. Joe explained the process in detail, to include giving me some valuable advice and suggestions on how to cut cost without changing the look I desired. He also referred me to Enterprise Rental Car right across the street in who gave me a discount based on the fact I was working with Maaco.See final results in the After photo. Full body paint job, painted trimming, headlight restoration and smoothing out the passenger side door panel from an accident. My car was hit in the rear bumper, trying to contact the other drivers insurance took me almost 2 hrs. The guy at the front desk was very professional. He showed me another vehicle as an example of what they could do for my vehicle. He told me the vehicle will be ready in two weeks and called me a week and a half later and said my vehicle was ready for pick up. This paint job exceeded my expectations. I don’t know what they did but the car looks brand new. Even the headlights look like they’ve been restored.

Had a few plastic and metal pieces I wanted to get paint matched to my truck. They gave me a quote over the phone and then stayed within that quote when I brought the pieces in.They did exactly what I requested and their work turned out great. They also got the job done when they said they would. You will get exactly what you ask for. I am very happy with their service and quality, so I will be returning here for future projects.Side note: one of the pieces had a paint run on it. I immediately pointed it out and Joe took care of it within 10 minutes.

The customer service was great from the time I first spoke to them till I picked up my car from them after being painted. I have an old 66 Chevy and boy did they do a terrific job. Although it’s not a show car, its now worth showing off !!Cheap doesn’t have to mean low quality and these guys proved that to me. I am very satisfied with the paint job and really impressed with the great care they took to tape off and cover the areas that were not being painted. I would recommend this Maaco location to anyone and again, Kudos to the paint crew !!

Joe, is the greatest!!! I had a cracked bumper/grill, it took them a week to fix it, 1 of my parts got delayed, they went above & beyond to make sure my car was completed on time. Paint is spot on, looks brand new in the front. Definitely recommend!!!

Joe was exceptionally helpful and patient. I went in at the height of COVID and he was very professional and the environment promoted cleanliness and social isolation. They did excellent work in a timely fashion. I will be returning for some other minor issues as well as recommending to friends. They have done body and paint work on two of my vehicles, most recently my 1973 Corvette, and they have done fabulous work. Having had a quote from another nationwide collision center for $2000 which I felt was a rip off for what was a 4 inch long scratch on my Audi. The guys at Maaco, Chantilly were highly recommend to me by a friend. My friend is in a classic car club. I brought my Honda Civic in to have the rear bumper replaced. There are a lot of body shops in the Chantilly area and Maaco had great reviews and I was happy with the ballpark quote I got over the phone, so I figured I would give them a try. I met with Joe, he was very personable, polite, and professional. He wrote me up a quote and planned it so I could have the work done in a day, very accommodating to my schedule! I left my car with them on the planned day and they completed the work it as they said they would at the quoted price. My new bumper looks great! So happy with my Maaco experience!

Back in December, 2014 I went to the shop for an estimate for making my newly purchased old Civic look better. Joe was very helpful and provided me with great options. A month later after some work on my own, I went back to live my little beloved car in Joes hands. Once I returned it looked like great. Mind you this car was built in 1996 and had been battered by an elderly woman driving and parking in DC for years, but it only had 89,xxx miles. So I wanted to give it some (new) life and the crew at this Maaco did just that. Its unfortunate, but more commonly true, that finding great service at a reasonable price with great customer service is hard to find these days. Fortunately for Maaco Chantilly, this fact makes them stand tall among the rest. I was referred by a friend who had a good experience to this shop and when I arrived they did not disappoint! They did a great job painting my rocker panel for my car and me being stubborn I tried to slap it on myself in the parking lot , Sam saw me and brought me tools and a mat to lay on , he put me out the way and took matters in his own hands , literally and instead of taking the part home in my trunk I got to ride my ride in one piece again , thanks allot to the team yal have there I definitely will be back!

I had my 95 Pontiac Sunfire repainted, the whole car. They were great through the whole process. Joe gave me a quote up front for everything and described what would be done and what would not be done. It was a very competitive and fair price. He kept me updated throughout the process, and when I went and picked up the car it looked amazing. It look like it had just come off the factory floor. The color was black, which is even more impressive because thats hard to get right. I would highly recommend this location (Chantilly) to anyone needing vehicle paint work.

I recently had some work body work/full paint job on my 1985 Ford F250 at Maaco in Chantilly and from beginning to end everything was superb. Great work, customer service and satisfaction begin with the manager running the shop, Sam. Sam and I spent over an hour walking around my truck, recommending the type of service that could make my truck look the way I wanted it within my budget. I was very pleased with the service and care provided by Sam. The day of drop off I had no way to get to work, he volunteered to drop me off about 15 mins away from his shop, knowing all the work he had to do he still took the time to make my experience even better.Communication while the work was being done was fantastic. Sam sent progress photos of my truck and updated me with any updates he could provide. The results were beyond what I imagined, the final price was same as the estimate, and they exceeded my expectations. I have other old projects that I will bring in to Sam and his team to work on. I highly recommend them to anyone. Keep up the great work Sam and team!

Went for an estimate for what I thought was a small area of paint damage that required a paint job. Turns out it was actually paint from whatever I scraped against as service tech wiped it off with paint remover. It was as good as new. He was gracious enough to say thats it and send me on my way! Small but much appreciated gesture, I will definitely return when I need real body work done.

I found Joe to be very professional. They gave me an accurate estimate. I brought the car in on a Wednesday (originally scheduled for Monday) and I was out by Friday. They were painting the bumper on my 15 Jetta. The paint turned out to be a really good match to the factory paint. They lost my tow eye cover but Joe was helpful in retrieving it. I am very happy with the end results. I would highly recommend them.

In fact I will be going back very soon because they gave me such a great quote on some additional work i need done. I’m surprised I received a text to do a survey because I expressed a few concerns, upon receiving my vehicle.Starting with the ‘PROS’- great customer service. The store manager is very affective in his delivery, education and providing options. This location seems very well versed in knowing their customers.Now with the ‘CONS’- there were a few scratches on my vehicle that weren’t previously there at the time I took it in for a paint job. My car wasn’t cleaned. Upon the return of my vehicle, there was dust inside my car and all over the exterior of my car. The service worker need to clean up there things because there was trash left in my trunk... and I’m not sure why (I hope they didn’t get the orders mixed up). They mixed up the floor mats in my car and left it absolutely filthy!!The manager did provide some left over touch up paint to hide the dents but I have a feeling he’s covering up for something else.Anyway, on of the service works at this particular shop explained that most body repair shops... don’t pay attention to detail and men typically don’t car, but this location is one of the better locations overall.So I guess this should tell you something.

Joe and team was FANTASTIC!! I couldn’t be more happy with the way things went. I came in looking for a specific color for my carwith some minor dent repair, and they nailed it! The prep work took a week or so longer than expected, but Joe gave me a call to warn me and kept me updated throughout the entire process. They even painted my front lip and side skirts along with the vehicle. I am beyond pleased with how amazing my car looks, and I 10/10 would recommend this location to anyone looking to get their car painted. The professionalism of Joe and his staff was out of this world, and I could not be happier with the way things went start to end.

I admit I had low expectations but was surprisingly impressed when I went to pick up my 2005 Acura TL. My paint had oxidized pretty bad but my car has high mileage so I didn’t want to break the bank, yet, I still wanted quality work. So I took a chance with this shop and I cannot say thank you enough to the team that repainted my car. I paid for the premium package. Great experience...After looking for months to find a place to repaint my 1973 Mustang Convertible at a reasonable price, Maaco of Chantilly was a great choice. Not only a reasonable price, but Sam, Joe, James and the Maaco team made it a great experience. They answered questions, communicated well and often, kept me informed and welcomed my 3-4 times per week visit to check on their progress. This was not a run of the miill fender bender repair job, and these guys went the extra mile to take good care of me and my car. I was skeptical about having this work done. I was concerned that it would look like an after factory paint job or that it would too expensive, neither was true. My paint job looks great, like a new car. It was done quickly and everyone I spoke with throughout the process was very helpful. I dont usually leave reviews, but these guys did a fantastic job painting my hood. Its a new hood on an 11 year old vehicle. I spent an hour trying to find any mistakes or mismatched color. It honestly looks perfect, like it came from the factory. These guys take pride in what they do, and it shows.

Did a great job, gave me the best quote out of 5 different places that i tried, and then gave me a military discount. Also, my taillight stopped working a couple of weeks after they finished their job, but they fixed that too. Excellent wotk and customer service.

I restored a 1964 Corvair and spent a lot of time to detail so i wanted a paint job to compliment and revive the old car, talked with quite a few body shops about the two tone paint i wanted and Joe and Sam made me feel like we were on the same team, they both took the time to listen to what i wanted and also brought up some great points to add to the end result , if you want a quality job done right leave the coupon at home and pay these guys for the top quality work they do. Maaco Chantilly was recommended to me by the tow truck driver who picked up my vehicle after an auto collision. I had a nightmare like experience with an insurance company over the repairs of my vehicle after someone hit me and lied saying I hit them. Maaco stood behind me the entire time and worked on my behalf with the insurance company to get my repairs paid for. They truly went above and beyond in customer service over the nine weeks from the day of the accident to date of pick up of my repaired vehicle. I cannot thank them enough and highly recommend them to anyone in need of accident repairs.

Sam makes sure that I am fully satisfied with the work. Ive had to bring 3 of my cars (one of them had a 2nd incident) and Sam had them fixed fully. One of the cars had an internal damage that the State Farm adjuster wasnt able to see and Sam worked directly with them so the repair was also covered.I do not want to have any more crashes (or my nieces) but if I do you can be sure Ill find back to Sam at MAACO Chantilly.

I recently had a fender-bender while driving my 2002 Taurus.... I only carry liability insurance on my car, and the other guys insurance determined it was not their clients fault ( I swear it was!). Their adjuster had left me with an $1800 estimate for repairs before denying my claim, and I was pretty bummed. My boss suggested MAACO which turned out to be a terrific experience. SAM understood that I did not want to go all out on my 12 year-old car, and gave me a reasonable option for $750. The car looks fantastic, it came in at exactly the estimated cost, and in the exact time they said it would be ready. This is a top-notch shop, clean and professionally run, and they will even hook you up with a rental if needed. Great experience!
