Great for simply party supplies but pretty small all around. If you need something specific, order online or go somewhere else.

Best place to get affordable platters and other party essentials. They always have what I’m looking for.

Collection is better than the Bloomington one. Most of the items are pricey. Friendly staffs.

Balloons only last 6-8 hours, and they don’t tell you. Had gotten my daughters balloons the night before her birthday party only to find them all deflated in the morning. Waste of money. Buy balloons anywhere else.

We were given the wrong balloon and didn’t notice until we got home. Called the next day and was told by the manager to stop in. When I arrived she was polite, apologetic and most importantly, she corrected the problem. A+ customer service.

They have just about anything you could need to throw a party, other than the food. Also the workers are very nice and helpful.

Window Shopping and Planning is always fun. They have it all from costumes to unique and not so unique baby shower, wedding, birthdays and everything else you can think of. If you need a party supply this is the place to go. For adults this is also a place to take a trip down memory lane from where you were a kid. Check it out you wont be disappointed.

I love Halloween, and its a fun store to go through when youre waiting to get a hair cut at great clips which is close by here. Also, I remember I went here to get a helium balloon for my friend after one of his cats passed away. It was one of those pretty shiny balloons that was holographic too. Wee! Staff was also very nice to me as well.

Ive always loved Party City and the variety they have. However, the time I went I was hoping to find a certain color for tablecloths, napkins, and plates, but all the had were basically primary colors and nothing more. I would love if they had specialty colors available to choose from but ultimately will continue going here! I recommend it!

Ok store first time at this location

We obtained 2018 Mylar balloons for a graduation party. They werent cheap. Our party venue was a park pavilion. It was misting but not by any means heavily raining when my daughter attempted to arrange them under the roof near the edge. The balloons acted like they had no helium in them. We couldnt use them. Party City said they dont mention that this can happen. Of course not because people with an exposed area wouldnt buy them, but guess what? We wont be buying anything at this store in the future because the store did nothing to make this right.

We visit this store a lot for theatre and school supplies. They usually have just what we need, though sometimes not in the quantity we are looking for. If I had one critique, I would wish they had better store-to-store cooperation/communication, but I realize this would come from a corporate level and is not a fault of the location. Every staff person weve encountered has been extremely helpful and has good knowledge of their stock and product. It is well-organized, and most of our visits are quick because of the ease of finding items and the attentiveness of the staff.

Decent choices of kids party favors and decorations. A lot of character stuff, not much for non character party stuff that is not solid color. Prices are pretty high. I will likely come back a couple times a year because of convenience.

It is a great place to find party themes ....but watch when you check out prices are not right on sale items

No covers for the serving trays I wanted. Could have used more staff. Many things I used to buy there I can no longer get.They might do well to start a section of biodegradable disposables and advertise the selection.

Employees are nice but extremely over priced china products. Almost everything is made in China and is all plastic. Those items are priced around 3 times higher then they should be but if you need a party specific item right away and you dont know where to find it, i suggest here.

So disappointed in the store. I bought an overpriced balloon for a prop for some pictures and within a half hour the balloon was already deflating. I was told I had to come back to replace or get a refund and I informed the lady I did not have time to drive over a half hour out of my way as the pictures were going to be done in a couple hours. I will not be using Party City anymore. POOR SERVICE. I would give them no stars if that was possible.

Store was well organized and had what I needed. There was almost of a whole isle empty, but perhaps that is there extra space for Halloween costumes and is only used then.

I bought a balloon and it lost its helium in a day. I took it back and they filled up a new one for me after checking my receipt. Very good customer service!

First time here. I did not know how big it was inside. Tons of options for Holloween or anytime of year.

I had ordered a pack of corn hole bean bags that was packaged in a plastic bag... I picked it up at the store and said that I wanted to open the package and check if the bean bags were alright... I was told that if the package was opened I would not be able to return the item in a very rude manner... Why would I not be able to return when I just opened the package and not tear open the bean bag itself?That said... The bean bags were in good shape and I can use them.

Mostly a good experience. The cashier had accidentally smeared the writing on my balloon but just a little bit. I would have been fine with it but was a bit annoyed that she tried to hide it from me. Other than that, the people here are good, friendly and I would go to the store again.

They have a good amount of things for Halloween and Grad Parties but are are the expensive side. The options of costumes and party gear here is okay but the prices of everything is always more expensive that you think it will be when you get up to the register. Also they have a no return policy so anything you buy has to be exchanged if brought back.

Not impressed with their prices. Needed some bingo dobbers in a pinch and paid way too much. The quality was subpar at best. Ink ran out way to fast. Very messy. Will not be back.

I had an excellent experience at this store. I came in the night before Halloween and had fairly specific requests on what I was looking for. Nikki(sp) was the associate who helped me, and not only did she have a great knowledge of their inventory, she was very helpful in taking me to the different areas of the costume section where I would find things. All the people working were very friendly, which was extra nice as I imagine they are all very much looking forward to the return to normalcy after Haloween is over. Top marks for everyone, thank you Chanhassen Party City.

Kind of hard to see from the main road but a great store with great staff

The service is awful here! The manager was very rude when I came to pick up my ballons — I had been miss-informed about a service and her attitude was horrible! If you have plans for a special day and you have to be greated be her I feel for you! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! 😞

They only had 1 person working and I had to wait a long time to check out. There was a long line of people after me as well.

Prefer the Party City in Maple Grove as it is a bit bigger. The service team members are knowledgeable and helpful, although there is often significant wait time at the register.
