He was available when needed but when it came down to signing the contract, his numbers were ALWAYS off, in his favor, of course. I caught them and he would apologize but nothing changed (I have all the old contracts and emails if you are interested in seeing them). I asked if I could see the actual plans of what my home would look like since there were some changes to the outside (I added several windows and a sliding door to he front and wanted to make sure it would look okay). I NEVER saw any of MY plans, just the generic ones. I was ready to sign the contract, thinking this would get the wheels in motion but it didnt. The contract I signed was with Fairbrook Homes and not the builder itself.There was an issue with the lot that prevented me from building there. I hired a real estate attorney to look over the restrictions. Because the building restrictions were so vague, the attorney recommended I not build. I mentioned this to George and he said it was probably a good thing because it would have been difficult to get the home on the lot anyway and that the costs to get the lot ready was already too high! NOW, he tells me this!!! I asked if I could cancel this contract and he said yes but he would have to keep some of the money for his time and effort. I asked if this could be waived because it was out of my control and he said he would still keep the money and give me a credit, for that amount good for one year, if I found another lot elsewhere.After thinking about it, my money was in escrow for no reason whatsoever. I signed a contract for no reason whatsoever. He wanted me to sign a contract in case I backed out, so he could keep some of my money if I backed out. He never put a contract in with the builder. If he would have, there was a 12-week delay in starting construction. Thats why I never got the drawing of my home because he didnt have the contract signed with them so they werent going to get their designers moving until one was signed.In the end, I was swindled out of almost $5,300 for his time and effort. Thats a lot of money. And here I was thinking they were just trying to do the right thing. I should have charged him for as much time I spent reviewing and correcting his contract errors!PLEASE do contact me if you want more details!!!

What a great experience working with Fairbrook Homes.  They did everything they said they would do and more!!  George and Mike are very knowledgeable and easy to work with.  There was never any pressure to purchase our home.  We were very impressed with their attention to detail and their suggestions and recommendations made our home exactly what we wanted.  They managed the whole project from start to finish!  Thank you Fairbrook Homes!!

A couple of years ago we lost our home of over 20 years to a fire. The thought of going threw the process of home buying again. We decided to do our own utilities on first home. Never again there. Mike and George sold us a turn key home. What that means is other than the fun stuff of picking out tile,carpet,or paint colors. They give you a date and you pull up in your driveway hand you the keys. If anything good came out of the fire. It was the ease of buying a home from these two. Thanks again guys. The Bayness family will always be part of your family. 🙏

Terrible, terrible company. Please DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They will take advantage of you and they will take your money. After making plans and trying to buy a home from them SINCE MARCH 2017 only now did I get money back and move on. They lie, cheat, steal and are extremely unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Didnt deliver the home we wanted. kept the money and the wrong home. Not willing to make things right. Been trying to get our money back since June 2017. Worst contractor I ever dealt with. Resolved after a year thanks to my attorney and Dept. of Housing.

What experience? Called Mike and he had George email me some floor plans and contacted me thru email. I didnt want anything and. I kept emailing him and never got a response. Finally called him and when he answered I said its this George and he said who wants to know. I was a little taken back by his attitude. He tried to smooth things over and I set an appointment. Well the day and time came for the appointment and we waited all afternoon for him to show. No call no show. I feel if this is the way they do business I dont want to do it with them. My husband called and left Mike a messagage for Mike after this happened and he never returned our call. I cant believe this. I had so many questions I guess Ill have to try and find another company. One that wants my business.

They do not list prices and talk to a Contractor not to us. Very disappointed.
