I was so pleased with my experience at Handcrafted. From my first meeting with Dezeray to working our details with Jon as well as the actual work from Jon and Dave. I knew going in that my situation was a bit complicated due to the factory configuration in my vehicle. Also, I think I can no longer make a case that I am not high-maintenance when it comes to car audio.Anyhow, Jon and the team were professional, understanding, and talented. Second time around with the PROFESSIONAL team at Handcrafted. They work as a very functional team. Took my Corvette to them for upgrade on stereo. I am very picky on whom drives/works on my baby. Sometimes I am probably over protective. Bottom line for me is I worked hard for all I own, these guys understand that and respect that !!!!! Job came out perfect. Handcrafted was able to design and install a stereo system on my Harley Davidson Road King, that nobody else said could be done without installing a faring. The install was done with such craftsmanship it is beautiful! The system sounds and performs fantastic.I highly recommend them, super nice and very easy to work with. I am bringing my bike back next week to have lighting installed.

The guys at Handcrafted Car Audio are truly top notch both in sales and install. First time I went in they gave me a tour of the entire shop which showed me how meticulous and protective they are of customers vehicles. After we discussed what I was looking for in a new/replacement alarm they gave me a written quote and also emailed it to me. The price was competitive to other shops in the valley. A few weeks later I called to arrange an appointment for the install. After the install was complete the installer Nik thoroughly explained all the features and answered all questions I had. The experience was first class and I will be back.

You can tell from all of the reviews that Jon and his staff comprise a one-of-a-kind enterprise. A few years ago, Jon located and installed a custom car audio unit. About a month ago I couldnt get the navigation to work so I took it in. Today, James installed a replacement for $43, telling me hed contacted the manufacturer and persuaded it to provide the new unit under warranty. It wasnt under warranty, and I expected to pay $2,000. You dont see customer service like this every day. Kelsey was great, too. Hats off to Jon and Handcrafted!

I would like to really thank John, Nick and the staff at Handcrafted for truly taking the time and really making my experience with their business a great one. From the beginning I explained exactly what I wanted and what I expected. James really let me select the ideal products that would sound amazing in my F150 and was a perfect match. However, my rear door speakers were lacking so after upgrading the rear speakers, they just did not sound right. I called John and he was apologetic and made an appointment to see my truck right away the following day. John was just wanting to make things right with my speaker issue, and did not want to put me out so he even offered a rental car, talk about a personal touch. So after picking up my truck and conversing with Nick later that day and fine tuning of the EQ levels my truck sounds awesome. Again, really appreciate the staff at Handcrafted, and after spending about five thousand dollars on my sound system, was worth every penny.

I was ready to take my car stereo to the next level in sound quality and did the usual research online like anybody would... it led me to Jon at Handcrafted Car Audio... during my initial visit I dealt with Jared, who was very professional and spent at least an hour with me going through different scenarios involving my current equipment and possibly replacing some of it. The establishment is well maintained and very well organized, so it gave me a sense of satisfaction before they even touched my vehicle knowing they will treat it with the kind of care that I would. I ended up adding an Audison BIT10 D to enhance my current arsenal and couldnt be happier! I knew I went to the right place when they werent trying to sell me just anything. They are simply there to provide what you want... and that they did. Even during an unusual influx of customers both Jon and Jared spent over two hours tuning the equipment to my satisfaction. They did a very nice job of installing a new pioneer stereo in my Avalanche and when I thought there was a problem they took my truck back and made sure everything was right of course it wasnt the installation but my error. I got a Pioneer receiver, 2 component speakers and 2 10 inch subs running on a 500 watt amp and it’s just ridiculous. My friend said it hits harder than his 2000 watt system. The highs and mids are crystal clear too. Very good work, I’m extremely happy. Thanks, guys!

Back in March, the stock speakers in my 2012 Ford Focus were in need of replacement so I decided to upgrade them. I emailed a few places around town and Jon and Handcrafted Car Audio gave me the most professional and personable response, so I went down to see what he could do for me. He gave me a tour of their facility and it was clear that these guys take their business seriously.Instead of giving me information overload about their products and stacking up a laundry list of things Ill need, he took the time to really listen and understand what I was looking for. We did some listening tests, and they were the kind where I actually got to listen and judge instead of having a sales pitch hammered into me. He didnt reciting marketing points from the manufacturers packaging or give me a bunch of meaningless buzzwords. He let me listen and decide what I liked. When I asked about the differences between the models that I liked, he was full of useful information but never made me feel like I was being pushed toward anything that was out of my price range or that I didnt genuinely like. I was sold.I brought the car in a few days later and Jerry installed my new Hertz speakers. The installation turned out to be more complicated than expected and required additional labor above what had been quoted to me, but Jon honored the price we had agreed upon. Im extremely happy with my speakers and blown away by the service experience. This place is as far from a rip-off as you can possibly get. After the experience I had, I wouldnt take a car anyplace else. Handcrafted Car Audio is outstanding.

I usually dont write reviews but today I am. I walked in the door and wasnt greeted by anybody and when I walked up it felt like I was a bother. I sat there for an hour and the lady at the desk said absolutely nothing to me. Im thinking, Im a paying customer and this is how customers are treated. I thought maybe it was off day for the shop so whatever. When it came time to pay the bill is when I was surprised. There was no paper that I signed that automatically gave them permission to just add parts to the car without my approval. Obviously, it was to late at that time so I paid it. So I find out they do it and then tell you rather than ask and then do it. Shady way of doing business. Also, please dont go into attack mode for a negative review, it happens.

Very pleased with the service! I went in to check on a remote started but didnt think I would be able to get it done because I was leaving the state the following week, but Jon got me in the next day and it was done in just a few hours. He made sure I knew how everything worked and told me to call him if I had any problems. I would definitely recommend him for any of your car needs - stereo, alarm, remote starters, etc. Will be recommending him to friends and customers.

This is the best audio shop in Arizona. For me customer service is a big concern in mobile audio shops. Every other place I have been to it feels like they dont want to work with you unless you are spending thousands. Jon on the other hand was very friendly and helpful. He gives an honest opinion and goes over your options well. I wasnt sure if my equipment needed or repairs or just a better install. They could have told me something was wrong and charged me more to make some bigger changes but were honest and did great work in getting my stuff working again. This is the only car audio shop I would give my business to again in Arizona.

So I am “re-reviewing” this shop because they called me up after my last review and took care of the issue I had with the unit installed in my car. John took care of me. Highly recommend because most shops would not probably even care after they sell and install.

I have been replacing car audio equipment for years and this time I was stuck. I was having a bear of a time finding a replacement which would fit a used 2006 Highlander Hybrid and the folks at Handcrafted came through in a big way!! Here I am in New England and they treated me as if I were their next door neighbor. They were patient and knowledgeable and more than willing to jump through whatever hoops arose. They asked if I would rather just send the whole unit to them so they could simply put it together and mail it back! Amazing! The follow-up was incredibly kind and unnecessary and I cant say enough about what a pleasure it was to do business with the gang at Handcrafted! The best of the best!

I put on a Rigid grille and 20 combo light bar plus AMP power running boards on my brand new 2018 Toyota 4Runner TRD. These guys did a great job on the installation and the pricing was fair as well. If you are looking for a well done clean job, this is the place to go.

I have made the mistake of not searching hard enough for the right shop, and wasted time and money with wrong shops. This is the right shop. I have learned that quality installation is key to quality sound. Jon and Jeremy were courteous and professional and took the time to understand my goals. I was completely confident the job would be done right, and I was not disappointed. I will be back for future needs.

Those guys know what theyre doing! Installation that wouldve taken few hours in some other places, got done in half the time, furthermore, I have my Radio unit installed on a Saturday, while it took some time to install and was going to push them off their scheduled closing time, they willingly stayed the overtime to finish the job, I recommend this place for your electronic needs!A long while after they installed my unit, Accidently, I inserted a CD in between the retractable screen and the body of the head unit, I stopped by the place to see if they can help, they accommodate me right on the spot and Dezzarry took a genuine interest and did everything possible up until she was able to extract the CD. Incredible service, very professional and truly care about their customers.

Im very very happy with the service these folks provided. I had asked in one of my neighborhood FB groups about remote start installers and this company was mentioned twice. I initiated convo through their Yelp thingy and it was WAY convenient for me since I have 2 kids (that make so much noise, I avoid making day time phone calls unless theyre napping). I got something near my budget, with the functionality that was right for my needs and in a very quick time frame.Their shop is clean and tip-top (they give you a tour.. something I did before dropping my car off) and all their staff at the desk and back in the shop doing the labor were friendly and professional. The young guy Nick that took my car in that morning to drop off was very friendly and kidded around with my kiddos which I thought was sweet... he was nice in answering all my questions about specifics of the install he was personally doing.I think I chose the right place to trust this kind of work to. I have no doubts about their abilities to do clean, thorough and quality work.

Was looking for help to see if my sub was blown, I went to Audio Express first and they were a joke. Very unhelpful and lazy customer service. I then went to HCA and was helped instantly, found the problem and fixed it right in the parking lot. Didnt try to oversell me or lie to me, I was very happy with my experience and will definitely be back. Thanks for being so honest and helpful, its a rare thing these days!!

I had remote start installed here for a Christmas present to my girlfriend. From the moment I walled in, I was treated like a valued customer. Before they would discuss what I was there to purchase I got a full tour of the shop with descriptions on their practices and a chance to see those practices being done. They take great care of you vehicle while they have it. I got a great price on what I was looking for. When I went to pick up the vehicle my girlfriend and I were given a comprehensive orientation to the new system and we were even shown pictures they took of the install and how they did it with a wiring job that looked like it was factory. You could see that they take great pride in their work. Great customer service, good prices, and one of the cleanest install shops Ive seen. There will be no other shop that will ever touch any of my vehicle electronics. This will be the only place to go.

Prior to coming to Handcrafted Car Audio, I did my due diligence and researched the company along with many others. Just purchased a new, top of the line, rare car and needed the best care and products installed (Im kinda anal about my ride). After meeting with Jon, he took the time to explain the best set- up for me and walked me through the entire process (reassuring me that they would treat my car like I would). Due to the limited amount of space, Jon and his team constructed a custom audio system that would give me the best sound and performance. First of all, I love my car, so I wanted only the best people to install my audio equipment. Thats what led me to Handcrafted Car Audio and let me tell you, I made the right choice. Jon, the owner, is just a super nice guy and very honest. The prices are competitive, and the craftsmanship is top notch. People online have said they have taken their cars to other places and they were told that GPS and XM antennas had to be installed on the outside. Well, Jon was able to hide both my GPS antenna, AND my XM. Nobody would ever know I had anything by looking at the outside. (Great for security). He took the time to explain how things work, and never tries to over-sell. If you love your car, and want only responsible and reliable people to handle it, then this place is it. Enough said. Had my 2015 Honda Accord upgraded to Andoid Auto/Navigation and HD RAdio. These guys installed a new Pioneer HD Stereo and made it look like a factory installed option. Had a few technical problems that were resolved very quickly. They did an excellent job

This guy is the best car audio installer in the valley. Did a very complex audio/video installation in my BMW 745. Now I have my ipod connected in a jack in my ashtray with video in my navigation unit. If u have audio work that needs to be done this is the guy to have it done.

Where do I begin.... A few years ago I had a system installed by a place in Mesa. That place ruined the whole wiring system in my car. They wouldnt help me, never responded, and were always too busy. I did some research online and found Handcrafted. Now this place understands customer service. I explained what I wanted installed in my new car, they didnt try to upsell me. (Even stayed after hours to complete my quote) They gave me options that were perfect for my wife and I. Unfortunately....and not at the fault of Handcrafted... The amp I had installed had a bad chip system and didnt work after the first day. Now heres where customer service comes into play. I emailed them on Sat... even though they are closed, and they communicated back with me. The were able to get me in the next Monday, pull the amp out and put a new one in. Most people would have been mad but lets be real here... its not like the installers are at the factory making the speakers and amps. Things can go wrong, but they handled it in the most professional way possible. Now I have a nice system that sounds amazing on multiple genres of music. They were even able to install speaker guards to prevent groceries from ruining the speakers LOL! Huge thanks to Dezeray, John, and the whole team for everything you all did!

Its been a couple of months since the purchase and installation of my 10 subwoofer in my 2014 civic si. The installation was clean and the recommendation of which sub to go with was perfect for what i needed.I was kind of leery of installing the system in my new car but with the professionalism of handcrafted audio i would do it all over again!!

I wish I could say something positive about my experience here. Shoddy ideas in salesmanship. Werent interested in what I wanted do. Just wanted to take my money and do what they wanted to do. Frustrating.

I was in a jam and needed help FAST! My Honda has a 6 disc CD changer behind the navigation screen which folds down to allow you access.When a disc got stuck in the changer the software would not allow the navigation screen to move back into place. This was a problem because I have company coming this week and they will need to navigation to get around.We know removing the CD player will disable navigation so I just needed the screen up and Jon was able to make that happen in a matter of minutes.Jon was professional, kind and pretty smart ;-)He got my issue resolved AT NO CHARGE...., yes when my guests leave we will go back and have the CD changer pulled and sent in for repair.Thanks for everything JON!!

I would not get your car audio or any service from this place. I was thoroughly disappointed with the customer service I received and felt I was being discriminated against and charged more because I was female. After getting to my car, I realized there was damage done in the process and they denied having anything to do with it. If your looking for shady service, disgruntled employees and disrespectful staff, this is the place for you. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

I started with Best Buy, they have no clue. I tried two other Mesa shops and was not impressed . Handcrafted was my last stop and I got lucky. I wanted to get a special piece of equipment installed in my Lexus, that allowed me to use my smartphone on my cars touchscreen. Cool, huh? One of the companies recommended by Vais, the people that made the product, was Handcrafted Car Audio. I had just bought my Lexus, so there were a couple of other things I had done at the same time: Limo tint and remote start from my smartphone with unlimited range. Everything was installed perfectly. What inspired me to write this review is that even months after the installation was completed, Handcrafted Car Audio was there to help me with any questions I had. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. I used to go to Best Buy for car audio, but never again. I am a customer of Handcrafted Car Audio for life.

I went to HCA to look into replacing my cars factory touch screen system with an iPad Mini setup. Replace some old tech with a new cool gadget and update the system for good clean sound. What I got was exactly that and more. The system was installed perfectly and looks like its a factory dash piece, its amazing!! The DRC was custom installed below the shifter and looks like it was always there. The sound of the system measures up as well. I still have the factory speakers but it sounds great, really incredible!! Super clean sound and still the bass to go with it too. I could not be any more happy with the system or Jon and Max. It wont be long before I hope to be back to get some additional stuff done as well to flesh the system out a bit more. They are great guys that do great work!!

After deciding to put a new radio for the usual reasons,blue tooth, handsfree phone,etc,etc. I started my search for a local independent business, when I got to Handcrafteds web site I liked the thought that went behind the site. I went to see John and told him I was a tech dummy and I needed help. He listened, and came up with right solution for me. We reached a fair price for both of us. The installation was done expertly and finished when promised. We agreed to move the USB port to a different location after the installation, It was moved to the new location for the cost of one small part. This guy really cares about his customer!!! He also knows his business.

To add bass to my existing stereo, and he quoted me $650. after I left I looked back at his Web site and noticed that the same package he offered me was packaged priced at $450. When I called him back he said that he forgot about the promotion. Wink wink. I was able to get a kicker cvr 12 (500 watt rms) sub, a zx500.1 mono block amp, in a ported enclosure installed for $400. $250 savings just by going somewhere else. Thanks Jon

John at Handcrafted Car Audio upgraded the speakers in my VW Tiguan, as well as my husbands VW GTI, and did a fantastic job. Before he even recommended speakers for my car, he spent time listening to a problem I was having with playing my iPod, and researched a setting that I could change to solve the problem. Even the techs at the VW dealership hadnt been able to fix it for me! Once that was fixed, he and his team installed new speakers, including fabricating brackets so that they would work in the VW, and they sound great. The price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend John and his team!
