This shopping experience was truly the best experience for getting new glasses, from the appointment availability, to the very thorough eye exam with Aimee, to the fantastic employee Damaris who helped a clueless guy who has no fashion sense to pick out the perfect frames. My husband needed an eye exam and new glasses. We decided try Shopko, as we drive by the store frequently is Champlin. My husband was very happy all the way around. I went with to help him pick out his new glasses. Excellent and friendly customer service.

The staff was very friendly and kind. They were very quick to see me. I didn’t have to wait long at all. This was my first time ordering contacts. They doctor made it very easy to get set up with the trial contacts. The staff was very helpful with walking me through how to remove the contacts and put on the contacts. It was a very pleasant experience.

This was my first time getting glasses. The staff at the Champlin store were very friendly, patient (I looked at many different options) and helpful. I wasnt pressured to buy more expensive frames & was able to find a great pair at a great price. I was given a very thorough eye exam by an experienced, helpful & friendly optometrist. An eye irritation in need of a rush appointment brought be to Shopko Optical in Champlin and they were amazing! Helpful with insurance, got in to see me RIGHT AWAY, diligent care. I will be back for sure when its time for my regular eye exam!

Staff was very friendly and helpful with my frame selection. I have Vision insurance and they worked with that and were able to give me an awesome price on a second pair.

Ii liked the large selection of frames and lens types. The staff gave good advice and information. Because of mask-wearing during the pandemic, they had set aside a small room so customers can remove a mask to really see the frames being considered. Prices seemed a bit high, but service was great. Quick turn-around too!

Friendly, professional staff... the best, most comprehensive eye exam Ive ever had and a great selection of frames made my recent visit a pleasant experience. Kerry suggested several alternatives for eyewear and lenses - some things Id never experienced before. And the price was very reasonable. Terrific optical shop.UPDATE: Ive worn the new glasses two weeks now and my vision has never been better! Really - what an improvement over what Ive worn before.

I wear contact lenses full time, but wanted an inexpensive pair of glasses just on case. I emphasized inexpensive, but that isnt a word this place understands. I wanted no anti-glare or reflective coating and was quoted about $550 for lenses!!! The salesperson pointed out that the frames would be 50% off (they were originally $89, so no savings there). I told her Id probably wear them for a total of eight hours a year, but she just appeared a bit confused at my wanting inexpensive. There was an older man in the shop when I first stopped in and he paid approximately $800 to order his glasses. Im just STUNNED AND DISAPPOINTED at such silly prices from a junky company that recently shut down its stores. Theyve apparently learned nothing! Im waiting now for my glasses to be made at LensCrafters, a quality company, and paid just under $200 for glasses that will be ready in another half hour or so!
