Used to love Schnucks until they added all the self checkout lanes and cut cashier staff. I know its the way most stores are going, but this used to be a premium grocery store with premium service. Now the store with the best customer experience is (sad to say it) County Market.

It was fantastic. I had no trouble locating the majority of the items. Overall, Id go again.

The staff is kind, clean, and well-organized. The lines can become a little long at times, but its an excellent place to obtain what you need.

I bought flowers for wifes b-day and they started turning brown in a day. When I returned to the store, she asked whether Id prefer a refund or to remake the arrangement. Very disarming. I took the remake and got a nicer arrangement--no $--pictured here after 8 days! Couldnt have treated a problem any better. Full marks.

When compared to other nearby supermarkets, this one has the best selection of organic products as well as the best fruit and meat selection.

I love this store, but the separate entrance and exit are a pain to deal with. I see many elderly and disabled individuals having to walk so much further due to this change. I understand that it was incorporated for COVID, but its causing more stress for those individuals at this point.

I was in the meat department and had a lady named Mary helping me at the counter. While they only had one teriyaki chicken kebab available she saw me looking at it and asked if she could make me some more. And then she explained to me how good this marinated meat is. Over and it be on my expectations

The floral dept is fantastic. Freshest flowers of anywhere in town, including the florists! I buy my wife flowers, not because its Valentines day, and hallmark has said I should, but because its Tuesday, and i was thinking of her and how much she loves this flower or that, or how she could use a little cheer. I always get them from Schnucks.

It was good until I went to leave out the door on the west side of the store where I parked....I was told I need to go to the other end of the store to leave and walk clear back across the parking lot to my vehicle!! It may not have been so bad except the employee that told me I had to do this also made this comment, I parked on that side as well, deal with it. REALLY!!!!

I always shop at Schnucks with no problem, I even used to work there. But, today was different. I went in and was just walking around with my brother trying to figure out what we were going to have for dinner. Next thing you know I see someone following us and minutes later we hear, “security to aisle 11 on the Intercom.”Surprise we were in aisle 11. Definitely was getting racially profiled.

They have pretty much anything you could want. Meat department is great!

They have a decent selection but its overpriced for the most part unless on sale. Ive recently bought cold chicken made in the deli for a quick lunch 3 times now all with the same result. Dried out, bland chicken thats obviously sat under the heat lamps until lathered and then packaged to sell cold in the case.

The cake we bought was average. The cashier and bakery staff was friendly and helpful.

Decent grocery store. Usually very clean and well stocked. Great gluten free section. Good selection of organic produce and dry goods. The deli had a good selection of lunch meats and nice cheeses. Olive bar is good and the rotisserie chickens are generally seasoned well.

Im a bread vendor at this store and from my experience the morning staff are so polite. As soon as you walk in they greet you. If you have children under 10 they have fresh fruit on hand for your child. Which is amazing so the child is more interested in the fruit then everything on the shelves. Very organized very clean. And all staff members are very knowledgeable about where things are in the store.

I was having a conversation with another shopper whose mask said obey, and upon asking on the mask, and to whom exactly the obey was referring, he asked me if I had ever heard of the Holocaust, and told me that he had another mask at home with a Jewish star, because this is the same exact situation, a statement that is not only materially incorrect, it is dangerous and needlessly offensive. At such time, the manager of the store came over to me and told me that I needed to either continue shopping or leave, with no comprehension or acknowledgement of how deeply insulting and hurtful this sort of comment is. I am honestly disappointed, sad, and angry that in this discussion I was the one singled out as a threat in the store. Be better, schnucks

Prices are a bit hi, but I really like the deli here.

Schnucks is convenient for me for sure. If you are price conscious, check around. Schnucks has great prices on wine but the general groceries is a bit more pricey. Constomer service is consistently strong and the addition of the self checkout lanes has helped get us out the door quickly. As with most grocery stores, weekends and weekday evenings are busy and bedt avoided if possible.

Looks like it was remodeled, much nicer, really good produce

I tried curbside pick up for the first time. Sat there for 2 hours. Even after telling a guy who asked if I was Cindy (Im not cindy) that my groceries were ready. Apparently theres an Ive arrived thing to click in the app which I never saw. During said 2 hours I had a lady back into my car and just leave so I had to call the cops. So despite curbside pickup, I had to get out of my car in the cold and deal with that and still had to put on a mask and go into the store. I was trying to do my part as I am essential and possibly exposed to covid19 on a daily basis. You guys need to make some improvements. And might I add that I spent $62 with tax and $85 was taken from my bank account for free pickup. Im done.

I purchased lunch at the foodbar. There were lots of selections of leafy greens and fruits and embellishments as well as some hot finger foods. It was not overly expensive but not economical. Very fresh. Very tasty. Excellent alternative to fast food.

A good clean store. The meat selection here is great! If youre looking for some meat to put on the grill, this is THE place to come.

Great customer service nothing bad to say. Also appreciate there one of the few places in town that dont feel the need to suppress their customers second amendment rights by posting a legally binding no guns allowed sign. I will always shop at businesses that do not take a stand against the second amendment first in this area.

I absolutely love this grocery store! They always have a pretty decent variety of items to shop for. The best thing that I love is the chicken wing bar.

I absolutely love this place. All fruits,meats, salads are very fresh. The staff are awesome. Very clean store, not overly crowded because almost all lanes are open. My place to shop for groceries. Almost forgot to mention Schnucks has multiple days in which they show appreciation to customers. Rather it be first time or your number 1 grocery shopping center youll love it. Bakery gives out free cookies to kids all day everyday.

Employees are very helpful and if they cant help you find something they can quickly find someone who can. Checkout employees are always cheerful and polite in my experience. Food is of good quality, even produce. This is a great place to shop for groceries.

I like Schnucks more than County Market. Free cookies and healthy fruit for kids. Better deals and consistently lower prices on some things (like alcohol). Ive had free samplings, free popcorn, and today free hot dogs in the grill. Nice staff.

Great selection of all kinds of food. Staff actually seems to like working there unlike many other grocers where the workers all look disgruntled. From what I hear the employees get pretty good perks in store too. Very clean. Minus one star because some products are overpriced.
