First visit to a Road Ranger. Will stick with Loves. Place was filthy. No window washer fluid at pumps. No paper towels at pumps. Bathrooms filthy with no soap or paper towels. No hot food. Tried to feed kids at McDonalds, but a very rude, frustrated lady came from behind the counter and yelled, Im not taking any more orders. Im filling the ones that I have taken and Im done!. Never had such an experience. The place was full, so obviously good place the business, but wont be there long being run like this. Could have added a dozen more disgusting pictures.

This place is usually clean and friendly. The bathrooms are small but usually clean. Parking here is small fueling here is easy and surprisingly the fuel island is not block with trucks not fueling. 90% of the employees are friendly. The McDonalds is quick and they are really friendly. Coffee at the plaza is always fresh and always hot. It’s really good coffee. Big coolers for a wide variety of drinks.

Just got carded for purchasing a grape swisher sweets! As a 50 year old man with all my grey shining silvery white in the sunlight makes me think, about spirit of the law versus letter of law, when its apparent Im not an 18 year old kid trying to buy smokes with a fake Id, I wear my 50 year old id with all my wrinkles and grey hair 24/7. Watch the video of the register at 1050 am to see the shocked look on my face wondering if its really happening!

The parking lot is well lit, there is one space that has caution cones around it. The parking lot is also very clean. Customer service is good. Prices are competitive. It is conveniently located. I would recommend.

This place needs a serious rework, the bathrooms are decent, the inside of the store itself is average. What is a major turn off to parking here is the garbage everywhere. This is unacceptable...

The worst of the road rangers I have been to. Nasty showers, nasty lot, and nastier staff used to be an ok truck stop but last 6 months have been bad wont be stopping here again. Sad but other Road rangers up north seem to be better.

When the signage clearly states wear a mask and the employee has it pulled under her nose, its effectively stating that I hope you catch the virus.Jennie D. 7:50 am, was rude, inconsiderate and didnt even bother greeting me.She scanned, didnt state the price and was going to skip giving me a receipt.A cough can travel as fast as 50 mph and expel almost 3,000 droplets in just one go. A sneezes can travel up to 100 mph and create upwards of 100,000 droplets.I could visibly see the dried droplets on the plexiglass separator, which only covers the upper side of divide.Its clear, Jennie works in a fashion to spread the virus. This must be addressed.

Nice little truck stop along I-57!! Parking for about 40 trucks so Im sure it gets tight at night. Staff seems friendly and place always looked clean to me!! Never have any problems when I stop here. Has a subway to get a quick bite to eat!!

Wait a minute they are discriminating against day cab drivers! We meaning me as a day cab driver are no longer allowed to overnight park here. This is the unacceptable but they want the sleeper cabs only to park here that empties there trash. Seriously!!! Maybe need to install cameras and find out who is disrespecting your property instead of discriminating against us that aren’t.

This is a nice small truck stop. It was clean and inviting. Didnt go to McDonalds but the restroom was clean. A good place to stop while in the area.

Extreamly dirty bathrooms, no milk for tea, nasty coffee station and rude unhappy employees.

The womens restroom was disgusting. Tp everywhere, none in the stalls. Toliets not flushed and urine on the seats. Shelves werent stocked, and the music was playing so loud my mom couldnt hear me talking to her.

Parking decent size & pretty clean.Lots of locals personal trucks parked & spots held by little cars.Inside could use a good scrub down.Coffe is good.Cashier was friendly. Idk his name.

Go in for a shower yes only one person but no one in there and no clean showers but yet she had time to mess with the coffee machine. Couldnt even give me an eta to when one would be clean

This place is so trashed, trash everywhere. Disgusting place.

What an absolute dive. And nothing is maintained or clean in the whole establishment. Everything from the bathrooms to the coffee makers are just filthy. You really cant read it any higher than two stars. The McDonalds is even closed. I was afraid to wash my hands in the sink it was so dirty.

Horrible truck stop. Air hose doesn’t wark and no one seems to care. Attendant did nothing to help get answers. Ridiculous! Will drive out of my way to avoid them.

I was forced to take off my mask when purchasing cigarettes yesterday. This is the first time since the pandemic started that any establishment has made me do this when purchasing cigarettes or alcohol. I will absolutely NEVER come back to this location for anything again. Not only is it illegal for me to take my mask off it was unsafe because the place was packed. When I told the attendant working that I didnt agree because it is totally unsafe she went on badmouthing other customers as being dishonest and lying about age for over two minutes. She was totally unprofessional and ignorant.

Posted pictures... this place is a dump! The building and inside is nice but where semis park... Im thinking the health department needs to get involved! Pee jugs and seats and trash everywhere and just looks like a junkyard. I would be so embarrassed by it all! Feel bad for the farmers that have to deal with it all

Disgusting bathrooms!

So dirty! The counter was wet and dirty; the bathrooms were dirty; the glass door to enter was visibly dirty. Every trash can was full. Cigarette butts and trash littered the sidewalk and parking lot. Youd think they would try a little harder during a global pandemic to meet even basic cleanliness standards. Years ago this was my go-to stop when traveling frequently on 57, but I wont be back.

They DO NOT honor pilot showers despite being listed on every trucker GPS as a pilot. Ive been to many other franchise Pilots and this is the 1st to refuse my card. Check my reviews, they are not all negative, I do give good reviews.

Bathroom was disgusting and the employee behind the counter was really rude and acted as if my business was not important to him or the road ranger. I clearly stated what I wanted even pointed it out to him and then he asks me why do I have to be difficult. Ummm no there is nothing difficult about listening to what Im telling you doing your job and getting it .

I called to check the price on Diesel, and the person who answered the phone told me they cant give prices over the phone. He then said bye and hung up on me. Well, you know what, I dont buy my diesel from people who are rude. Someone else will happy to sell me 150 gallons of Diesel, and be polite about it.

The truck stop itself is ok and the folks in the McDonalds were friendly. But the Road Ranger cashier had such a bad attitude that Ill never buy fuel or stop again at this location.

The place was clean and so was the shower. But the shower head needs to be replaced in #2.

The inside of the store was clean. The people nice, one of the ladies at the rwgiater was ignoring people to be chatty. But i dont hold that against anyone. McDonalds got my order spot on. The reason it is a 3 atar and not a 5 is the state of the parking area for the truck drivers. Also shame on the drivers who did it. It looks like this if not worse around the entire edge of the U shaped parking lot for rigs.

How long do we have to wait for road ranger to fall flat on its face with terrible locations before they completely close up shop and get bought up entirely?Flying j locations are normally decentPilot locations are okayAnd road ranger is a absolute last case scenario location. If possible in any way to avoid them completely i definitely always have and would!

Good for parking but no laundry. Also prepare to be treated rudely. Every time I come here And try to grab a shower or get a scale ticket the attendants attitude changes. Ive never just gotten into a shower, Im always made to wait, all while looking at open showers. Usually Im told it will be a very long time before one will be available. Again all the doors open , these people are just lazy, attempting to dissuade me ! Tonight was an extra level of rude. I showed up to grab a shower and was told it would be past 10pm before I could get in. After waiting 20 minutes she told me and my parter that one of us wasnt getting a shower at all tonight because they werent allowed to clean them. So I let my student shower and went back to the truck. Apparently Ill be able to shower sometime after 6am. Maybe. At least these people could try to be friendly or at least not rude to us drivers. The last time I was here the lady closed her register right in front of me and then moved to another one and waited on folks getting gas that came in way after me. This truck stop has some fundamental flaws to say the least!

I see a lot of negative reviews on the friendliness of the employees here. Ive interacted with three this evening and each one was very polite and helpful. I havent showered yet but the mens room needed a little attention but nothing major.Get here early to park! This place was nearly full by 1830.

Not sure what the fuss is about with the other reviewers. The cashiers were friendly. The store was relatively clean and well stocked. It’s a truck stop mini mart, not much more one could ask for.

Yeah same here you should be able to give negative stars. this place isnt that much of a dump but it is completely understaffed. I was attempting to sympathize with the female clerk that was here by herself however my opening statement was Mann Road Rangers just completely suck which I was meaning in general all Road Rangers across the country but she took great offense to it and I was actually sympathizing with her for having management letting her get stuck here by herself although the attitude that she gave me I believe she probably is management here which is very typical of all Road Ranger employees they dont treat customers very well especially if there are any issues. I tried to avoid all Road Rangers if I can help it but unfortunately thats just the nature of trucking. Pilot and Flying Js have much better customer service

This is my favorite Stop place for Coffee or Soda craving ! I love their hot bar that I can grab a nice sandwich , Hot dogs , or Chicken ! There is too many items on their shelves to mention ! McDonalds is on their North side if you want a quick meal !

This is the biggest sh*thole truckstop I’ve ever saw! McDonald’s lobby was under remodel. I asked the manager through the drive through window how do truckers get food if the lobby is closed she laughed and walked away from the window. Following morning I wanted to take a shower and the rude girl behind the counter said there was no hot water! What a joke!!

McDonalds is horrible. The food was mediocre. I repeated my order 3 times and I still had to correct them several times. They took forever. The kitchen and counter area looked like a tornado hit. They took forever. I was wondering if they were even working. The people in convenience store are rude. The only thing going for this place is thst the bathrooms were clean. The employees in.store and McDonalds act as if they are hanging out with friends instead of working. Where is the management?

Horrible employees. . In both McDonalds and at the fuel desk..to busy laughing and making fun of customers or sitting in a chair. If u need to get your truck weighted go like 10 miles south. Do not fuel here the lack of service is embarrassing. Road Ranger management needs to be embarrassed of the lack of customers service.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this is pretty nasty here. I think it is because it’s way understaffed. The clerk was nice, but had to run all over the place doing stuff while we stood waiting to pay. It could sure use a good cleaning. It’s 1am and the McDonald’s is closed. Most truck stops have food.

I come here often and its always absolutely filly. How in the world does this place even pass a health inspection. Unbelievable! There is usually just one or two people working but they always have time to BS but to overworked and dont have the time to clean up. WHAT A DUMP!

Manager is piss poor. I say that because I was there this afternoon and saw one gal working her best to serve customers, by herself. Two people called in and she was all alone on the register. TWENTY people in line. Where was the piss poor manager. That good for nothing should have been helping instead of in the office in the back. Shed have walked out I wouldnt have held it against her. 30 minutes for two sodas and a cup of ice, and they kept coming in. The line never decreased. Bad management. Great employee, she even managed to keep a sense of humor through it all.

The co manager was HORRIBLE. With my back to HER she asked me a question to which I replied yes sir out of habit more than anything.HER reply back you realize Im not a man. And I went to see if the cigar humidor was open and as I could see it was locked. She said yes its locked. But did not offer to open it!!!!Will NEVER return to this location!!!

I have driven truck for a long time now and 99.9% of the truck stops i stay at are courteous and professional. How ever this is now the worst truck stop I have yet been to. I was rudely awakened in the middle of the night and threatened to leave. Along with 7 other parked truckers who were safely parked, and not obstructing others. Nor where they parked in spots that were marked NO PARKING. Im not sure what this lady had been through in her life to cause her to act in such a rude manner with a male thug counterpart but it seems obvious that it was their nightly procedure to harass sleeping truckers. This truck stop is not in the service industry, rather they are in the harassment business. If you are the owner of this business you either have a bad apple on your hands or you also take part in abusing your customers? It will definitely be one truck stop I will never visit again.

The bathrooms were disgusting, the whole store was filthy. Customer service was ok. Not horrible not great. The fountain machine had no water going to it and everyone (employees) were clueless. I try not too expect too much from truck stops and usually pilot and loves exceeds my expectations. Which I would have went to but there wasnt one near. Disappointed

Free lit truck parking, beer, McDonalds, atm, tons of trucking gear. 50gals free shower, and the best window squeegies from here to Portland Oregon... or Portland Maine for that matter. 10 ounces of ol trapper jerky for $11.99. The staff and other customers were pleasant. If your wittle feewings got hurt here, you should visit the pilot just North of Atlanta.

Place is filthy, cappuccino machine rarely filled. Floors so sticky your shoes get stuck. Staff not friendly. When you contact corporate you dont get a response. Never going back. Taking my business elsewhere.

As a customer in this store today I witnessed something that maybe Road Ranger Corporation would like to look into...a company apparently was doing a invontory for them today and i was appalled by the way a gentleman named jim(i overheard him called that) was treating&talking to the workers...someone said he was the area mgr or something. Im sorry but if this is the way the upper managment for roadranger treats&talks to people(workers)then im sure thats where their employees learn about customer service so that explains alot...in the long run that comes from the top on down so his nasty disposition runs down hill&affects the total moral of the store he supposedly manages... get the guy some management people skills or get him out because bad eggs like him sink ships....

Nice people, clean total of three showers. They have some nice vacum packed Wisconsin sausages with chedar and jalapeño cheese. 50 parking lots. And the best music Ive ever heard at any gas stations. They accept pilot reward card.

We mustve been doing Elizabeth, the co-manager, a serious disservice by coming here. Apparently, everyone else here feels the same way. If you cant make it to the next station, dont expect to be welcomed. If you can, go the extra mile. Youll be glad you did. This place is a wreck.

Worst place I ever been in. Fecal matter on walls, none of the 4 stalls were even close to usuable and looked like they hadnt been cleaned in a week. 2 had no water in the bowl, and 2 were overflowing with feces. only 2 of the 4 urinals were operational. was going to stop for a shower, but its not a pilot/flying j station. its Road Ranger and its disgusting.

Dont waste your time unless its mid day. 38 parking spots total. Staff was trained too do as they please but just not cuss you out. Not outright rude but not friendly by a long shot. This applies from mc donalds through the front counter. They need some competition around here. Hope they get some so we can show them how the free market works.

Man in line also said there was a huge puddle of piss in the mens restroom. Store overall is ghetto and so are the employees

RUDE lady at the register with that attitude they wont get my business again. First time ever in Champaign Illinois stopped here spent my money on fuel and when I approached the register for my receipt and pay for my coffee the lady had an attitude. If you dont like your job then quit. At lease the people at mc Donalds were nice.

Visited this location back in May. The store was a dump and the cashier was rude....not what I would expect from a Road Ranger.....Best option is to tear this place down and start over.

Parking here isnt bad as long as you get here early. Theres not a lot of parking and if you do get here late at night you may need to be a little creative with parking. The store ,,, yah the old blonde hag is rude, like your bothering her. The shower was clean, newly renovated plenty of hot water and great pressure. You can use your Pilot card here for showers !!!McDonalds was ok no issues and the food was fresh and good. They are open quite late but close around midnight on Sunday. Over all its a good place to take a 10 hour break !!!

This place could be great, but its a pigsty because of the subpar staff.Its 9:30 am right now - a slow time for a trucking industry that typically is rolling by 8 am - and Ive been waiting 40 minutes for a shower. Three of the five stalls in the mens room are also down.The desk staffer is obnoxious. Hard to believe the execs at Pilot Corporate cant put together a better team than this in a world where commercial truckers have so many choices.I vote with my wallet.Get it together Pilot and keep bringing home paychecks. Or move on and give someone else a shot.

I came to this site to write about the filthy conditions. Bathroom always nasty and floors outfront havent been mopped in months. Management change is in order. The McDonalds next door has done the same thing recently. The changes are noticeable immediately.

The truck parking lots are far away from the building. Forced exercise walk? Not sufficient number of parking spots. And the staff ? They are serving short on words and a hell of unfriendly. They are acting like serving on a funeral. Not a place to spend money

Whoever said great showers is wrong. They are old and beat up. Plus they sent me into a dirty shower with wet dirty towels. It had just been used!

Have been coming here for 6yrs. Theyre currently transitioning from pilot diesel to road rager, so pilot cards will only be accepted for showers.

Take points off Pilot card for coffee butt dont give credit for a coffee hum...o and no soap in bathroom, and thats while you get hit by door if washing your hands
