Went to know more about different mattresses and purchase, the sleep expert didnt even bother to stand up to welcome me, didnt care to describe the existing features to make me want to purchase.I think the staff are not happy about their job, I recommend giving space to someone else who is more competent and friendly towards customers.I would not recommend the customer service of this place. The mattresses in their showroom are good, but the experience given to the customer just makes you walk away and purchase online.

Me and my husband had the best experience today with Josh! I’m a very undeceive person and he made us feel very welcome and was very patient with us. He made us feel like a friend and I would recommend him to anyone looking for mattress! He didn’t try to trick us into buying an expensive mattress like every other place around here. We’ve visited many stores in the area and this is the first place we’ve felt comfortable. There were a great selection on mattresses. But I went for headboard, as google said they had them. Well, there wasnt a headboard in the place. And there was nothing said on their site that it was on line orders only for headboards. Very disappointed... But Great Staff !

A decent (not overwhelming in quality) selection of mattresses. The two stars are due to the beneath disappointing customer service. A young gentleman (?) treated me and my friend with unexplainable rudeness and a palpable sense of superiority. He was touting his three years of sales experience as something that was supposed to impress us, and his abrupt, rudely expressed opinions like something more important than what I was trying to convey, in terms of the mattress I was looking for.I see positive reviews here so it is possible that the gentleman in question was the exception not the rule. I for one wont set foot in this store again. Thank God, there is plenty of competition in Urbana-Champaign.

My boyfriend and I walked in, today, not really knowing what we wanted. All I knew is that I needed something comfortable enough to support my back. On the other hand, the salesman, Sean, made sure we were comfortable asking any questions and after hearing the things we wanted in a bed, he took us straight to the options he knew would fit us best. He made sure we didn’t feel pressured to buy a anything, which is the best part. No one wants to feel like someone is ripping them off with a bogus deal. He let us know that some mattresses are pricey than others, which was my boyfriend’s main concern. Later, we decided on the perfect bed and walked out happy!

Nice and easy and got a great deal on the beds for my kids I will be going back to pick up a bed for me and my lady. The people over at the Mattress Firm located on prospect in Champaign IL did a really good with their costumer care.

Clean facility and very knowledgeable staff regarding mattress brands and what would work best for us. I will however voice my opinion on how we were treated during the buying process. While trying to figure out financing it was a huge disaster, several phone calls back in forth with synchrony bank and the employee was very out spoken with his frustration and he was very inexperienced. Personally I think there should be an employee who does sales only and another person to discuss payment and financing. The employee Ashley ended up coming to the rescue, which was greatly appreciated but, I dont think we will be returning to Mattress Firm.

Centrally located at the mall just off I-74, our local MF is a great option for budget bed shoppers. They helped me find a mattress in my lower-end price range (with huge Presidents Day sale discount) to fit my odd consumer limitation: the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms hit the lower ceiling at the middle landing giving a space only 65.5 high, and the bed frame I needed the new mattress for was a queen (60 x 80)!Nathan steered me to the various foam mattresses in my range, which come in a down-sized box, perfect for moving into my antique house. He obviously knows his business.MF also benefits from being a national chain, so as a repeat customer from Arizona, I got a faithful customer discount of $45 in IL. Let Macys home dept try to equal the prices or variety of economy-end stock at Mattress Firm! Specializing makes a difference.

Very disappointed. Sales staff was disorganized/uninformed. Delivery staff was very unhelpful. A 6 day process took 11 days and was bungled at every step. We paid $2,400, had to set up our own bed after paying them to do it, and were refunded $25.Went in to the store on Thursday and bought a mattress. Was told by Ashley that it was in stock and to expect it Wednesday. We didn’t receive a delivery confirmation call on Tuesday, so I called the store and reached Josh, who told me that the mattress hadn’t been in stock when Ashley told us that it was. I asked why we were told that is was and he couldn’t answer. Josh arranged for the mattress to be delivered that Sunday. We had paid for their gold service, which covers set up of the new mattress and removal of the old mattress. The delivery team said we hadn’t, and left the new mattress in our living room and refused to touch the old one. I called the store again. Ashley confirmed we had paid for removal, but that the delivery team wouldn’t be back until Monday to remove the old mattress. In the meantime we had to set up the new mattress by ourselves to have some place to sleep. Monday a second delivery team and came to take the old mattress away. They were at least polite.

First of all the delivery was set up forTuesday between a 2 hour window so my husband left work early so he would be home 30 minutes prior to their arrival. Apparently that time given to us was in Indiana time which is an hour ahead of Illinois time and they showed up an hour and 40 minutes early, waited for a while and went back to Indiana. We had to reschedule for the following Saturday. The 3 gentlemen that delivered our new mattress and adjustable base were very professional and good at their jobs, however, they told us that they do not set it up. We had to purchase the brackets so we could attach it to our existing headboard. They brought in the new mattress and adjustable base and did take away our old mattress and box spring and left. My husband is very good at fixing things and putting things together however the “universal” brackets they sold us turned out to not be so universal! This has turned into taking most of my husband’s day off to get this bed put together. He is having to create a way to make it work. Our salesman, Josh, said that all of that would be taken care of for us and was included in the $150 delivery fee!! I can’t even comment on whether we like our new mattress because we haven’t got to try it out. VERY disappointed in the fact we were told one thing in the store and another thing happened when it was delivered . Slumberland has free delivery and set up. Feeling we should have made our purchase somewhere else!

I had a rather unpleasant experience at this location. The stock of mattresses on display were far more expensive than their website advertised and what comparable stores in the area had. The salesman who approached us was very high pressure, told me I do not sleep properly for my back issues, and continued to point us towards mattresses that I had clearly stated were above my budget. I ended up going back to the Denver Mattress down the street. I would not waste my time at Mattress Firm Champaign again.

Sean was our salesman at matttress firm. He carefully explained all the options available to us in a mattress that would meet out needs. He is knowledgeable but not overwhelming. His caring and low key demeanor contributed to our purchase of a serta mattress.

Ashley was terrific in helping my father and I pick out a mattress and adjustable base. Unfortunately, when the time came for delivery, they called and said that our mattress was no longer in stock. Ashley worked hard to make it right, getting us an upgraded mattress. However, we did have to wait an extra week for delivery and when they did deliver, although the team was great, they didnt provide a users manual for the 600 base. On the whole, customer service was good, however.

Ashley was friendly and welcoming as soon as we stepped into the store. She was patient in exploring & discussing options with us.Tonight is our second night with new mattress. Very pleased with our choice and the service received by Ashley and the delivery crew.

Went in with my mom to buy a mattress for the guest room since she told me that my old guest mattress had finally died.
