I found that I had a punctured tire right as I was about to leave town. They let me come in immediately and quickly patched it up so I was able to make it home on time. I really appreciated the very friendly and professional service on such short notice! Thank you very much for helping me out!

This place had the lowest repair cost I came across. Customer service was good And they were nice people. They changed all brake pads and rotors, plus a caliper for the cheapest price I’ve seen. They also filled my windshield wiper fluid, which was not part of the job. Mine was completely empty and they did that for me.I called at 10 am, they took my money and my car, completed the job at 4:50 and my car is good as new. You could hear grinding because the rotor and caliper were rubbing against each other and other places were going to charge me over $1100. It was a really good experience and from now on I’ll be going here. This is probably the best experience I’ve had with an auto repair shop.

I also brought my parents car here because they said the windows werent working. As it turns out they had their window locks on!!🤣 TMS was honest and charged me nothing

Look no more. The team is honest and respectful. My car broke down in a street near TMS Auto Care and I decided to tow it there during non-working hours (weekend). I left a note with the issue and waited until Monday. When I called, the team had my car fixed and told me that it was only a battery problem and charged accordingly (knowing other car auto repair stores, I could have been easily scammed). Anyways, great team and reliable in Chambana area. I will come back here for auto repairs in the future.

I was on 57 North during rush hour and got a flat tire. I called TMS and the owner graciously agreed to stay at the shop for me until I could get my car towed there. They were able to order me a new tire and get me back on the road very quickly! They were very professional and pricing was reasonable and affordable. Will definitely be telling my family about this shop!

I felt really uncomfortable when I went back to pick up my car. Seeing a confederate flag being displayed on the blue work station. I talked to a gentleman named Steve who had on a pair of sunglasses with the same flag. I never once brought it up to his attention. That’d have probably been a really awkward conversation. So I paid for my services and left. That was my first visit to TMS and I definitely will NOT be using their service anymore. So are my family & friends who are now aware of this matter. The Owner/Manager needs to step up and be considerate about others. Despite of their race or ethnicity. White/Black/Brown/Blue/Green etc.

Nice local shop. I thought I needed new breaks, they told me they were fine but I needed new tires. Prices were a bit higher then a big chain but that is alright. They do charge extra if you dont pay in cash, though that really is the credit card company doing that but unusual these days.

Ive been here 3 times in 2 weeks with separate issues. Theyve taken very good care of me. Its not easy to find a mechanic you can trust but I highly recommend. Also they made sure I understood everything that was going on. Even took the time to record what the issue was to show me and took his time with me. Ive came at random times and they always fit me in. With only having one vehicle I appreciate that so much.

After my alternator died, I got my car towed here and they were able to replace it with 24 hours. They were professional and offered a reasonable price for all of the work/parts. They even warmed up my car for me before I picked it up.Ill definitely be back at TMS for any future auto issues!

Its so hard to find a good and trustworthy mechanic. These guys are the best around and have always been straight up about our car. Never overcharging or overworking when we may not have something so serious going on. When there have been problems, they worked quickly and were priced reasonably. Highly recommend!

Got some brakes and calibers done within a couple hrs. Good mechanic and dont overprice you foe replacement parts like some mechanics. I recommended them to my mom and brother, too.

I had a great experience with TMS. In two different occasions I had them check my Corolla for issues that I wasn’t sure were enough serious issues that I wanted to pay for. They HONESTLY told me that it’s not a big deal and I left without paying a penny. They have great diagnosis and they’re really fair!

They did a good job replacing my brake lines, however they also called me to tell me that my transmission had failed, which was very surprising since I had picked the vehicle up from a transmission specialist two days before with everything checking out. After making a series of phone calls between the specialist and TMS, they managed to get the vehicle on their lift, but claimed the transmission was barely pulling. Four days later, after fearing the worst and worrying about how to pay my unexpected new bill, they finish the brake lines and I walk two miles to pick up the vehicle, only to find that the engine wont even turn over--also surprising, since I installed a brand new battery four months before and never had any trouble with it. They did offer to jump my battery, but I was so frustrated that I simply walked away and returned to jump the battery myself that evening, only to find that my transmission is indeed working perfectly.Verdict: Spare yourself the customer service hassle and find a different mechanic.

The price is eh, they had fixed my alternator fine and the price was good. I had bought a new premium mass air flow sensor for my car and gave it to them to install. They said the sensor wasnt going to work and wanted to charge me 300 for a new one and I stall. I then put the sensor in myself and it worked haha. I saved myself hundreds, they are kinda tough to trust.

I was in a jam and they were incredible. Professional and honest. Even met a woman picking up her car while I was there and she had nothing but great things to say about this shop.

Long story short, the problems I was having with my car Midas wanted to charge me almost $1500. TMS Auto Care charged me less than 1/3 the price. It took Greg about an hour to finish. Much thanks to the guys at T.M.S Auto Care.

I was going to rate them higher, as they were really nice and worked with me on finding the best options, but when I got back in my car it reeked of smoke. Im pretty sensitive to it, but I cant imagine many people liking getting their car back smelling like this. So my windows have been down in 35degree weather trying to air out the smell.

Had the rotors and pads replaced. Price was fair and turn around time was quick. Unfortunately the customer service was very poor. Did not answer questions I had and hung up on me a few times. When asking about what happened there was no apology or acknowledgement of a mistake. Work was fine but the experience was poor so I will be taking my business elsewhere.

My local auto shop recommendation for everything quick and preliminary diagnostics. Very honest and decent guys that do not try to rip as much from your wallet as possible. They tell you exactly what needs to get done and not more. Most recently, I had an costly issue that required trip to dealership, and after 1 hr, they told me straight they cannot fix it, and only charged me $25 for the time. Call for apptments.

I hit the curb and steering went off center. I went there to did an inspection. Within 10 mins, I was told all components are good and I just need an wheel alignment at other place(they dont do wheel alignment). The inspection is FREE!!! Very fast and honest people.

Very impressed with the business as a whole. From oil changes to diagnosing and fixing major repairs I only take out cars to T.M.S. Example: wifes car had an oil leak that we had diagnosed by 3 different shops all which agreed it was the lower intake manifold gasket. That repair can run over $1000 dollars so when I saw the reviews on T.M.S. I had to have them do the work. When I called, the manager suggested I get a second opinion. I explained that I had several mechanics say it was the LIMG. He asked if I could run it by so they could have a look, I did and they found the actual problem was a small O-ring above the LIMG. Long story short previous work had been done improperly and T.M.S. Saved me getting ripped off for over $700!

Called around 8:30am to make an appointment for 9am, car was looked at for about a half hour to diagnose the problem, then about another 30-40 mins to fix, and was out by 10:15 ish. Overall very satisfied!

These guys are great.I have a 99 Cavalier 2.2. 4cylinder engine. I had to get a new throttle cable a few months back because the one I had broke.I called a number of shops in champaign & Urbana to get price quotes on a new throttle cable I needed.I couldnt believe how much they were charging. Most of them were giving me price quotes in the neighborhood of $300-$400 range!Im not real knowledgeable about cars, but know a little bit about them and how to fix some things from working on them with my brother, but that seemed way overpriced!!I finally called these guys at T.M.S autocare and spoke with Joe and told him what the problem was with my car and the symptoms my car was having with the throttle cable needing to be replaced.He immediately came across to me as reassuring me that I wouldnt need to worry that they could fix it. Also he was very honest and valued integrity with me as the customer which is a huge plus that put my mind at ease a bit and guide me through the process.Back to the issue at hand though.Apparently it was a part that most shops have to order when I called (which they told me could take a week or week 1/2) or take it to a dealership where they have guys who know how to fix it but also have the part in stock.Not only was Joe & his guys able to fix the throttle cable problem i was having, but they were able to do it at an EXTREMELY competitive price!They didnt have the part in stock, but that he can order it and have it back to me first thing Monday. Which is exactly what happened!By the way, I almost forgot to mention when I took my car here that it was the day before thanksgiving and most people are heading out of town for the holiday for the weekend.The reason I included that little bit of info is because when called most other shops they said they wouldnt be able to schedule me in for a couple weeks at the earliest. Also because of the thanksgiving weekend holiday including that most of them were closing early.All this to be said my overall experience with these guys was great and I couldnt of asked for more. Which is why I am giving Joe & his guys here at T.M.S autocare a full 5 star rating!Also, just in case you were wondering how much it costed me when it was all said and done. I paid about $130. Which is exactly what Joe said it would be about before I even took my car in so they could fix it.Again, these guys are great!Thanks Joe & guys at T.M.S. autocare!
