I have had my car for I think a couple years now and I do believe I have a couple more to go and yes you pay more than what the car is actually worth but they financed me there on the spot and because I messed up my credit when I was younger it was hard to find anyone that would. I test drove a few cars and decided on one and was out of there within an hour I do believe so that was awesome! The MAIN reason I did give the 5 stars was because of the customer service there...Amber that works there is AMAZING! I am a single mother of 3 and I rely alot on my car since it is the only one I have and I do make a 25 minute drive to work and back every day. With this year being a rough one I had some unexpected expenses come up and was really stressing making my payment...Amber completely took all of that stress away the moment I talked with her! Not only did she work with me on my payment but she was very nice, understanding, and just human! 💛 I would come back MAINLY because of this experience! We need more people in customer service like Amber...and just in this world in general! Keep up the awesome job you do every day Amber!

My husband and I got a 2010 Camry we love it but we werent to happy with J. D byrider due to two months after getting the car the altenator went out and we had to get it fixed they wouldnt even fix it for free after us only having it for 2months .....make sure if u do a test drive run it by a mechanic or bring one with you!! The car we got had candy stuck on the floorboard so the car wasnt cleaned at all didnt see it due to them hiding it under the floor mat. Very unprofessional.

Worst place to do business with they never call backs and lie about checking your credit report

I tried to get financed through them and they couldn’t do it even tho they told me I would definitely be able to.

Today I just bought my third car from them. Larry and JR are wonderful. It’s nice to buy a car from good professional people who don’t lie and they take care of their customers from the beginning to the end of the car deal. I will never buy a car anywhere else love these guys!

Leased a car from these guys. Customer service was great. However, was charged over double value of car, was not offered warranty, the interest brought the total paid amount to over 22k for a 2006. The engine went out twice. Car had suspension issues which were brought to attention less than 30 days into contract, their service department told me nothing to worry about Owner eventually came to an agreement with me, only reducing what I spent by 2000$ or so and had to return vehicle because fixing it for a third time was out of the question. It was auctioned for a meager 1200$.Long story short, save yourself the hassle. There are always other options.

I would give zero stars if I could. Got a 2010 Honda Civic was paying almost $600 a month for...which was fine when I first got the car, I had bad credit so what can you do? I ended up moving so my rent significantly increased, I asked what I could do to try and lower my payments so I could make sure I could still afford the vehicle--even if that meant paying on it a little longer...they told me the only way was to put down $4000 and they could lower my payments to $400 a month. HA! I then found out I was expecting (I have 2 kids already) Obviously a Honda civic is not ideal for 3 kids, so I asked about getting a bigger, even older vehicle and trading the Honda back in? NOPE! I ended up returning the car & receiving a HUGE dent on my credit, obviously....But I had no choice as they are not willing to work with you WHATSOEVER. They claim they want to help build your credit & offer affordable payments MY ASS! These people care about money money money and that is it. Luckily I bought a newer, bigger vehicle that was realistic and NORMALLY priced. Hated to do that to my credit but when its between a car payment and LIVING day to day...& the company is absolutely unwilling to work with you...you really have no choice. If you have no other option as far as getting a vehicle, I guess you have no choice...but if you move, switch jobs, unexpectedly add to your family ,etc.....DONT expect any help from these people!

Very nice people. I checked out a couple cars. Open about any issues. They do a good job refurbishing. Havent bought yet, but as a used car dealership they are very high on my list. Car I really liked had accidents in past though they fixed so well, was not noticable. Owner was very open about it. And info was on free Carfax supplied.

Husband bought two cars from here. If you have no choice, then it’s okay. He had bad credit so there you have it. Decent cars but severely overpriced and they try to convince you to buy their insurance. DON’T DO IT! It’s a scam, we had their insurance, an extra $40 a month and the police still took our car which resulted in over $400 in fines. They are not very compromising if your financial circumstances change either. I would suggest advantage auto sales.

JR was wonderful in getting me into the car I looked at. ( I test drove several) The problem I have is, There was suppose to be work done on the front breaks-- they did the back ones. They were suppose to fix the switch for the mirrors ( electric) it literally lasted a few days-- some where along the line while working on the mirror switch- the perfect sounding tweeter in the door no longer sounds perfect... SHAME ON ME for not bringing this to their attention after it happend...I had complained about something going on with the right front side several times. Within the 30days. they kept telling me there was nothing wrong. AFTER the 30 days I took it in and low and behold lookey there , the wheel barrings and breaks in the front arent good.To add insult to injury- the rack and pinion is now going out and I have NO power steering. which is upwards of $2000 to fix.( estimates I received from mechanics who would do me the favor if it wouldnt void out the warranttee. When I took the car in for its oil change, the place I got the oil change said they found coolant leak , oil leak and power steering leak. ( How did the dealership NOT find this stuff upon inspection ... and why was it not taken care of prior to going on the lot. ( rhetorical) Yes taking it to a reputable mechanic and not trusting the dealership mechanic to inspect it would have been a smart thing to do... I had my trust in them shame on me.I pay my payments on time or before. I do not have the funds to fix this. I contacted JR via email who in turn connected me with finance . years ago they were able to roll the work into my loan and extend it. apparently they no longer wish to do this.I do have the extended warrantee. However it doesnt cover this sort of thing. ( which I knew) I asked about trading it in for something with out the mechanical problems and I was told they cant do that this early, How ever JR would put in a good word for me --- I am now paying on a vehicle that isnt safe to drive and I have no way to get it fixed. I really liked my car. I am disabled and can not be in a situation to get stranded.I test drove the car, my friend test drove the car, we made a list of things to be completed--- to agree to purchase the vehicle IE some things going on in the front of the vehicle. I was told by the mechanics even new cars can have issues.. agreed but they are covered. I expressed I CAN NOT get in to a situation of a car with hiccups as I just got out of that situation hence why I deiced to go threw a dealership, payments and warranties.I bought a vehicle with them over 20 years ago and they were helpful when it come to repairs. SAD that they arent willing to 1. fix what should have been fixed in the very beginning when brought to their attention, 2. Not willing to finance repairs.The reason people go to buy here pay is a couple of reasons- 1. poor credit- ( not my case) 2. no credit payment history ( my case) and most do not have to means to come up with a few thousand dollars to make the repairs. They could have bought a different car for that amount of money.Yes I am aware that it is a USED car from an auction. I was under the impression that when the car was inspected they would pay attention to things like shaking, sounds, leaks etc. not just do an oil change, plugs etc.The Kudos of it is . JR worked his rear off to get me to be able to leave in the car the day I went in, he made a list of things that they needed to repair at no cost to me. ( with what they make on these cars they still make a profit when they make the repairs. ) To quote him how ever, they hadnt had a sale all week.AGAIN I am aware that these are older cars and I am aware that Buy here pay here have a really high interest rate... My over all issue is- I now have a vehicle that needs upward of $2000 work and no way to get this done.

I walked on right as the last employee was getting ready to lock up. I had been to Decatur to Bob Bradys Auto Mall because I had several phone calls saying I was approved w no down payment even w me explaining all my circumstances and bad credit. Needless to say I needed a co signer which they didnt tell me at all!! Anyway this employee saw how upset I was and how badly I needed to be taken care of and in a vehicle today due to major expensive fixes needed to the Cadillac. I was just about in tears. He took his time to take my info and call his boss to see if he could help me even though they were closed. He went out of his way to get the OK from his boss and to let me test drive and choose my vehicle. Not once did he rush me! He was the best customer service in sales Ive ever dealt with! He stayed over almost three hours to get me approved and in a vehicle driving it home w taxes, title and plated and two weeks of insurance on it until I get my own. He also explained all paperwork to me in detail, not rushing through anything and answering all my questions in detail! He was very very nice and not in a hurry or rushing me at all! My husband dealt with JD Byrider in Decatur and ideal auto sales in Decatur before and never got anywhere close the service i got or taken care of and worked with on payments like I was. He worked my payments down to the lowest number he possibly could helping a hundred percent so I have no worries paying g on time us he made the due exactly on my paydays so I can also have zero issues being on time. If you need a reliable vehicle with affordable payments and have poor credit ..please take my recommendation and drive the e tea miles to Champaign on MarketPlace Avenue to JD Byrider there. They guarantee they put money into every vehicle they get before they put them on the lot to sell. Mine had very very low mileage and a perfect Carfax report, which they do give you at their expense and not yours. U see it before u choose the vehicle. They also report you making on time payments to credit bureaus to help better your credit too! Id go there again in a heartbeat!

The service sucks, Im glad I didnt buy from them! I stopped here to ask a few questions about a vehicle and they said make an appointment because they were about to close. The guy wouldnt come show me the car.... The types of places where Ive bought cars would show you a car off the clock lolzzz.

Their cars tend to break down after you buy them.they dont cover repairs once sold. You get stuck with car payments for a car that doesnt work. Their interest rates are outrageous.

Paying $513 a month for a 2003 envoy with over 100,000 miles. Rip off but what can you do when you need a car asap will be so glad when this financial burden is over with its been 4 years I have been paying on this car
