My sink and washing machine were backing up - yuck! 2 gentlemen showed up within about 30 minutes of me calling and they were done about 30 minutes after that. Have had no trouble since then! Fast, professional, friendly. Would highly recommend.

I had both spring and fall maintenance services this year. AC has worked nicely for the entire summer, and I expect the furnace will work well too this winter, thanks to the maintenance. I had a mini split system installed by Lanz. Michael was the one who came out to do the estimate. He was on time, thorough and walked me through the process and was able to complete this job at a cost that was less than other companies I contacted (one of whom didn’t even send me back the estimate). He was also responsive to multiple follow up emails that I had about the estimate and some changes I wanted to make.The installers came on time and did a great job setting up the unit and cleaning up any mess that was made. A follow up call later that week was a nice touch to see if I was happy with the work that was done. They even offered to come back in a couple of weeks to check on how the unit is operating and address any issues. I would definitely recommend their services and use them again in the future.

We had a camera run down our sewer line and then had the line cleared out of tree roots.We know we want to get our sewer pipe lined because we have old clay tile and if it were to break we cannot dig in our yardBrandon and Terry were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful during the whole process. They are just a couple of regular guys who really know their stuff. They aren’t pushy or anything. They just want to make sure you get the service you need.I specifically asked for Brandon to be the one to come to my house. I remembered him from years ago when he helped us. I remembered him to be easy going and truthful and felt completely confident with his advice. I was not disappointed.I plan to use his company to line our pipe. We were expecting a huge expense, but Lanz is great about finding and correcting the problem at the lowest possible cost. I was also grateful that they worked us in on the day that I called so that I didn’t have to worry about water accumulating and creating a bigger problem. During a pandemic, it’s also refreshing that we don’t have to worry about safety precautions - Lanz has always been respectful and professional in these ways!

EDIT: I originally gave 4 stars (see below). After writing this review I was contacted within minutes to deal with my complaints in a very reasonable and generous way. I really appreciate that. Lanz has 4.9 stars average for a reason: they do care about their customers. The main people I remember speaking to are Brandon and Shannon from plumbing, and Michael from cooling - all were great.---------------------------- Below is my original review ------------------Shannon was friendly, professional, came promptly, and not only fixed the clog in our kitchen sink but explained in detail and patiently why it was caused and how it should be prevented in the future. I have no complaints about this particular experience - 5 stars.I do want to add that about a week beforehand someone else from Lanz came, and while they were perfectly fine, all they did to fix the problem we had at the time was tighten a few pipes. Its a little ridiculous to pay 228$ for 5 minutes and a tightening of pipes that didnt fix the original problem (clog that caused pressure buildup), which forced us to call again a week later and pay another 200$.For me part of the problem is that the price is not hourly, its basically a flat fee of around 200$ even for tiny things. **Let me say I dont really blame Lanz specifically, I think all the companies in the area operate in the same way**. Regardless, paying around 450$ to unclog a drain is just unpleasant and economically unacceptable. Maybe the worst part is that our problem is still not fully fixed - we will need to adjust the angle of some of the pipes to avoid future clogs (or pay Lanz another 200$ for them to do it). When I pay someone to fix a problem Id like to remove that problem from my todo list.

I reached out to Lanz over the weekend via their website. They called on Monday, and were out that afternoon to fix my basement toilet. My 17-year-old pump needed to be replaced. They had the part with them and I had a working toilet by that afternoon. Other services Ive used require a diagnostic visit, followed by another visit (usually with a different technician). This was a refreshing change. I will call Lanz first from now on!

Terry came out and explained everything to me that they were going to do. He was very courteous and thorough. It was very refreshing knowing that customer service actually still exists.

The two gentlemen that came were great! They were knowledgeable, quick, thorough, polite and informative. We didn’t have an appointment scheduled but they were able to come within an hour of calling. They completed the job within 20 min and fully explained the issue and how to prevent it in the future.

Super timely and came right away. Talked to us about every step and thoroughly explained what he saw and what was going on. Friendly and respectful. Gave us all the information we could ask for.

Lanz came out a year ago to remove tree roots from my sewer line and did a great job. Service was quick, thorough (even emailed me a video file showing the inside of the pipe), and reasonably priced. They called yesterday to remind me it’s been a year and offered to come check its status. They came today, looked in the pipe with a camera, decided it didn’t need service, and went on their way without charging me!

Shannon and Terry acted very professional. They explained the things they did as well as why they were doing them to me in very good detail. A big thank you to these guys.

On a day with a heat advisory, I didn’t expect such a quick response to my A/C problem- but within a few hours of my call, a friendly and knowledgeable tech (Chase) was here to help! Lanz Heating and Cooling repaired my home HVAC system. I called on a Sunday morning and in approximately 1 1/2 hours later, the unit was up and running. Greg W. was on time, did a great job with the AC maintenance and also checked an old heater installed in our garage. I was looking for it to be checked for safety issues and wanted a knowledgeable recommendation on if it was functional. Greg provided all these things and was also very professional and polite. The pair of plumbers made themselves available first thing in the morning and were done in no time. They were extremely polite and good natured, and were able to answer questions about the problem with my plumbing system informatively but also in simple terms. Would definitely call on them for other plumbing issues because their rates are reasonable as well.

Brandon and Shannon were very thorough, took their time evaluating the problem and explaining every step to me along the way. They had video on-site so we could follow along with the camera footage as they were checking the issue and explained everything they saw and how it may or may not have been related to the backup and drainage issues I was having.

Had a contract with Lanz for years. My toilet was leaking, so I called Lanz to fix the problem..service men were professional and got the job done. A couple days later the leak was back after toilet was plugged up. Called again and I wax told that normal. Well I just had flooring replaced in the house, including the bathroom. Well the toilet has been leaking for quite sometime now, and the subfloor had to be replaced. This was quite costly and could have prevented if job was done right the first time.

The guys who came were super nice, and even though my basement was far worse off than I was hoping, they didn’t bs me about anything (but in the nicest way). Andrew talked to me on the phone and he was super knowledgeable about everything. Their team is on time, courteous, very knowledgeable as well, and cleaned up any messes.

Greg was fantastic, professional, and had good thoughts/explanations for what he planned to do. He kept me in the loop, listened to my concerns, and repeated everything back to be sure he understood. We submitted a request for service last night and they called first thing this morning to say that there were open slots available today. I was given notice before anyone headed over. This same company installed the hvac unit a few years ago and were good to work with through that process, too!

Lantz Heating, AC, and plumbing is my go to for all my home needs. Our 30 yr old HVAC system needed replaced and they were easy to work with for the quote and came in with the best price. Installation was on the promised day and they arrived on time and cleaned up afterwards. We signed up for the maintenance program and it has already paid for itself! Our sink wasnt draining right and we had other issues. They came out when they said they would and fixed the issue quickly. Everyone from the office staff to the techs have been wonderful to deal with and I would recommend them for all your HVAC and plumbing needs.

I will change my rating in the future if everything gets fixed. We spent over 3,000 on a new ac/heating unit about 16 months ago. We have had problems ever since. Furthermore, we just had a tech come out 2 weeks ago and repair the unit and charged us close to 300 dollars and 3 days later the system is broke again. During the past month, someone may pick up the phone one out of every 15 times I call. I leave voicemails and NOBODY ever calls back. I understand it is hot out and people require service, however one service call would pay for an extra persons wages for the week to answer more phone calls. Stop advertising on TV and wasting our money if you can not provide service. Advertising is expective and we should not pay for that if we are getting poor service.At the very least, answer your phones.

Phillip and Boston were great. They replaced my water heater when they said they would. If I ran a company I would want employees just like them. Lanz Inc. is very lucky to have them. I dont know how much they get paid but it cant be enough. If you need a plumber Lanz is easy to get a hold of using their web site. Just leave a message for them and they will get back to you within the hr.

Set everything up with Michael to install whole home humidifier and air purifier. Also needed sw noisy duct work adjusted. Everything was very well explained. The wind chill was -10° and the house was 53° I gave Lanz a call and they sent Greg out within an hour. He was very professional, got my furnace working quickly and he left his workspace clean. I cannot express how grateful I am for his service. Thank you!!

I had a leaky faucet for some time and Paul and Jeremy were able to remedy the leak. Not only did they take the time to address the leak itself, but they also replaced the necessary parts, made minor adjustments, and overall made some quality of life improvements (such as a soap dispenser). The efficacy is praise enough, but the speed and professionalism as well. I highly recommend.

I had a poor experience. Chase was the technician who was courteous. My boiler was not functioning and leaking. He checked it out and called a colleague, explained that he had never seen this boiler before, and said that his colleague would call me back. Waited 2 weeks for a call but never got back to me or any communication about a quote... ghosted! Paid the dispatch fee so they could say my boiler was broken. Went somewhere else and had the whole system replaced.Edited: Lanz gave me a call after the initial review and refunded the dispatch fee. They apologized and tried to make things right so I give them credit for correcting their mistakes!

Love these guys. They’re not the cheapest in the area, but they’re available 24/7 and are very quick to come out during times I need them most. They’ve installed a water heater for me, a new outside ac unit, repaired faucets, and most recently fixed my heater over the weekend. Good people, and are honest and don’t tell me to buy upgrades I don’t need.

We had a great experience with Lanz, specifically our Maintenance man Paul! He knew what he was doing and changed out our hot water heater for a new one within an hour and a half! I highly recommend their services!

I have used several services performed by Lanz. I started with the installation of a hot water heater. When they installed it they were very professional, very clean, and told me every step of the way what they would be doing. Next I had them install a furnace and air conditioner. They came out and even installed a vent for me. Again excellent service. The third thing they did for me was they had to put a clean out on the side of the yard because I was having toilet issues. They worked on it told me exactly how long they would be working on it what would happen if they could not fix it and we progressed from there. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I will always call them for all of my plumbing, heating and air conditioning needs.

Travis was very nice and professional. He found the leak right away and was able to access it by cutting out some drywall in a closet. I appreciated that he was trying to do the least damage possible to the drywall in an area that people don’t really see. He repaired the leak very quickly and cleaned everything up thoroughly. He gave a recommendation of who to call to fix the water damage and gave me a phone number too.

Brandon was awesome. Gave me several options and price points. He was polite and patient with explaining things. He was also very efficient and I appreciate him replacing our leaky garbage disposal in time for cooking our Thanksgiving meal!
