I have been driving around with the smallest crack on my windshield since March 20 & then the pandemic happened. Through the hot summer and cold winter that little chip turned into the longest crack. After calling all these major companies you see on the commercial quoted me $800+. Then my insurance company wasn’t no better. I called Lightning Auto Glass, gave me the best quote & was able to schedule me in the next day, waited a hour and my car was fixed. Please don’t hesitate to call.

We called early in the morning and got an appointment scheduled for only a few hours later! The receptionist was very kind and let us drop the car off 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment. The service was quick, only took an hour to replace a missing passenger window and the price was very fair. They charged us what was quoted over the phone.

Got my windows tinted here and the guys were very professional. They took the time to explain different tint options available and also went over the legal tint limits. I got all of my car windows tinted but didnt opt for the UV protection film for the windshield at that time. However, I will be back due to the quick service, excellent prices and professional staff! Company did not follow through on agreed upon services and were very difficult to work with. Dan, the owner or manager was rude and seemed to not care about the issue and was dismissive.Sad to see people still treating others this way.

This is my second time using Lightning Auto Glass in Chamblee.The short version:The technician broke a lot of parts, didn’t tell me or the management, lied about it and then got an attitude when I pointed it out.The long version:I visited to get my windshield replaced, I had the lady at the front notate to have the technician come and get me when they go to move the car as it has an aftermarket shifter that operates differently than a stock vehicle.When she told the techs, it’s a small place so you can hear them, the tech said “I’ve driven a manual before I don’t need to ask” she came back to tell me they are moving the car. I went outside and he could not get it into reverse, he kept pulling forward in the parking space, almost hitting the concrete parking block.Once they got done with the car they asked for payment before handing over the keys, which is totally normal practice. I went outside to inspect the work before paying and immediately saw that it was not reassembled correctly. Another technician came out to see what I was seeing and he agreed that it wasn’t right and handed the original technician parts he left in the engine bay that he didn’t put back on the car when he “reassembled” it. They pulled it around back again for the original technician to “fix” it.The first time the problems were:Driver side A Pillar cover out of alignmentRoof molding not reattachedDriver and passenger side Wiper Cowling not attachedCowling molding not reattachedBottom windshield retainer broken into two piecesBoth Wiper Arm Covers brokenBoth Wiper Arm nut washers not reinstalled.Once they brought it out the second time I looked it over with both technicians.He ended up breaking the cowling under both wiper blades, lost the washers for the wiper arm nuts, broke the covers for the wiper arm nuts, and broke the windshield bottom retainer in half when cutting out the original windshield.When I showed him that none of it was clipped in place and secure and the tabs where broken he said “ it isn’t visible so it doesn’t matter” and then admitted to reinstalling the broken part on the windshield that I couldn’t see. I told him it does matter because all of those things are structural and most import they where not broken before he touched it. He got a very bad attitude and said “I don’t own the place so I couldn’t care less” as he stormed off.The second technician Wayne(sorry if I spelled it wrong) witnessed all of this and was very professional, and controlled the situation very very well. Once he called Jessica, the sales rep, and told her what was going on she said they would call the dealership and order new parts to be installed at a later time.My point to Jessica and the manager (who was nowhere to be found):When they wanted to check me out nobody mentioned anything about parts being broken. Had I not checked it I would have just driven off not knowing anything was wrong until it was too late. How many non car or mechanical customers come here and get the same results unknowingly? The only reason the tech came clean is because I called him out on it and he still tried to deny it.She assured me that that wasn’t the normal and it would be discussed with the technician. She said another technician would work on my car when I returned to replace the broken parts. I refused because they broke parts already and I insisted I’d do it myself with the parts they ordered.I asked for a discount on the replacement and she said we don’t do that here, it will be full price, but we are ordering you new parts.Save your time and money, go somewhere else. I spend 2.5 hrs there the first time and then had to leave work early to pick up my parts a few days later since they close at 5pm.

Is the third car that is taken care by Lightning auto glass thru the years ,good workmanship, they are not cheap but the job is done right.

Asked for a tint, forgot to do the tint. Then blamed me, the customer on top of that.

I will never return to this place again!!! I went to get my windows repaired and left with my windows making a whistling noise! There was also miscommunication when I originally scheduled my appointment because I thought they would also tint my windows. When I called back to reschedule and appt to fix the whistling noise the first thing the customer service rep said after I KINDLY told her about the whistling and tint was “Ummmm it isn’t even possible to be charged for tint when we don’t do tinting” insinuating that i was lying when i have TINT on my receipt! This is not how you speak to someone who is calling in because you didn’t do your job right in the first place! She then decided to go back and forth with me and refused to tell me her name or put someone else on the phone. I called back and someone else let me know that i received a factory TINTED window so that is why i see the extra charge for TINT on my receipt! There are so many window repair places in Atlanta DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS BUSINESS!

They had to reschedule my appointment, but the technician was really nice and professional. The tint (back passenger window) matches perfectly to the factory and they even vacuumed out the broken glass from the previous window. I ended up going here instead of Safelite because the Lexus dealership I typically go to said they used this company for broken windows - and it was cheaper than Safelite.

Had an appointment with Lightning auto glass this morning at 10:30a.m for a window repair to my driver side door and it was by far one of the best auto shops Ive ever experienced in my 12 years of having vehicles, the receptionist Jessica was amazing, very polite, up on her knowledge, and very helpful! They seem to work pretty fast, i was in and out not a long wait like most auto places that keep you for hours. Its best to set an appointment. Their price and timing are on point!!

Initially did not properly fix my window but fixed the issue and made it right in the end. A little frustrating but ultimately they owned their mistake and fixed it without charging me. Nice to know there are still honest people out there. Thanks!

Went to the dealership for a side mirror replacement and they wanted to charge me $500. The actual part costs max $150. So glad I made the drive down the road to Lightening Auto Glass. Took about 20 min to install for a fraction of the cost. Dianna, at the front desk, was very helpful in finding the piece I needed.

I had to replace my front windshield last year. Unfortunately the windshield that was installed had a stress fracture on it by the next morning. However the next morning when I called they simply express how sorry they were and took care of it with no further questions or charges. With that being said I wanted to let more time pass before I decided to leave a review. This place is is exactly what customer service is all about. All around the best experience from beginning to end. Even with the little step back. The customer service and attention to detail is why I strongly recommend this place. After multiple calls to other auto glass repair shops that were unproductive and often chaotic, I called Lightning Auto Glass and spoke with Jessica. From the very first call, Jessica was friendly, knowledgeable, took down my info and called me back within 10 minutes with all the needed details I was looking for. Jessica was the only person actually able to give me an exact quote while others just gave me ranges cause they couldnt tell me specifically what windshield I needed (even after providing my VIN#). Lightning also ended up being a preferred vendor of my insurance company and after setting up my claim with them, before I could even call Lightning myself, Jessica called and said she had received everything she needed and was ready to schedule a time. I was scheduled for Lighting the very next day. Drop off was easy and the replacement took much less time that I thought it would. It was done perfectly and I cant say enough good things about Lightning Auto Glass (and Jessica as well)! My only critique (and its a small minor one) is Lightnings location. Its a small lot off a very busy road and had a very crowded parking lot making access a little difficult. I believe this is mostly due to Lightning being in such high demand making it crowded all the time! Again, this is only a minor inconvenience and well worth it for the work that was performed.

Fantastic experience! Having to get a new windshield is not something you really want to do, but Lightning Auto Glass made it as easy and painless as possible. The receptionist worked with me to get the part there faster so I could get home to get my kids from school which was a lifesaver! They completed the work the day I called and they said it would take exactly as much time as it did. The waiting room is clean and we were very comfortable there. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Nina answered my questions, provided a quote, scheduled my window replacement, managed the replacement, and processed the payment which matched the quote. Efficient and professional service is what one needs when thieves break out your window, especially when its 40 degrees outside.The only, and very minor, negative was that they forgot to vacuum the glass from the passenger side.If you need any type of auto glass service, Lightning Auto Glass is THE ONLY place to call.

The work provided was excellent. The team is very professional and expedient. I was greeted by name at my arrival and offered refreshments. The work being performed was explained to me to make sure I was comfortable with the tint being applied. Afterwards, walk through window and car wipe down & tape over the windows openers to remind not to open was a nice touch. I was referred by the Lexus dealership & will do the same.

Someone smashed the passenger side window of my Porsche. I took my car to lightning autoglass and they replaced the window perfectly, re-tinted flawlessly, gave me a very reasonable price, and most surprisingly they did all this in ONE DAY! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs glass repaired and/or windows tinted.

Even though he had a busy schedule, he offered me to come over, so he can quickly inspect the car and give time and work estimate. Had a car broken into and they not only got the glass brought over from their warehouse and installed, but also got a replacement part from the dealer where damage was done to the B pillar. This was on a Saturday morning with under two hours total turnaround from the time of my first call to pickup. Fantastic!!

Called in advance to make an appointment, and they greeted me by name when I arrived for the appointment, even though they had never met me before. Not only did they replace the auto glass, but they vacuumed up the broken glass from a car break-in. They replaced the glass in about 15 min, although I expected it would take much longer. The window now looks like it was never broken. Excellent customer service and job! Would definitely return to them if needed!

We were given a quote of $265 to tint my car, at drop off they changed it to $300 then 2 hours later i get a call changing it to $400 AFTER they started so just taking my business elsewhere wasnt a option. We ended up partially tinting the back window to keep the price down but quotes shouldnt be given over the phone if this is how they do business. Take your Tesla elsewhereEdited to add: the manager John did reach out to me and offer to refund $35 bringing the price back down to the original quoted price, after some thought and reading another review where Walter seemed to have the same issue, same day-i have decided to not accept the money in exchange for editing my review due to moral reasons, it won’t make the manager approved phone call to change my price from $300 to $400 okay. Had i agreed to just pay the price and not written this review business would of gone on as usual. This seems to be an issue that needs to be addressed within the company.

I was here about 6 months ago to have a crack in my wind shield repaired. Everyone was very friendly and personable. The service was quick and it has held intact. Crazy thing was I went back the very next day as I had another rock hit my wind shield. They looked at it right away and joked around with me about how I need a frequent visitors card.

These guys know what they are doing. So what glass protection on it insurance doesnt tell you, is if you have one window to replace dont file a claim with a deductible of $500, I had a long running crack from a semi thrown rock, and the windshield and labor with the shade of tint was $358. And this was done in 35 mins. These guys are great, the explanation of care was exceptional. And the waiting room, though small, was cozy with nice junk food snacks. :)

Lightning Auto Glass is great and friendly place to fix, tint, and more to all windows on your car. I recently had my windshield fixed and received excellent customer service. Ray Martin helped me get the best deal i could for my car. He was able to schedule me in the very next day early in the morning and they finished the job for me within then hour. He could have put me on the schedule the same day I came up to the business, but next day was better for me. The glass is finely placed with a tight seal just as if it was build into the car. Lightning is one of the only places that could do a sun roof repair in Atlanta and Im glad the uniqueness of the job brought me to them because they were fantastic. Had to replaced my smashed sunroof. Went to lightning glass auto on 3715 Longview Dr, Chamblee, GA 30341. When I got there I was told it might take 2 hours but it actually took about 40 mins. I paid my $474 and was out the door.

When we first came into Lightning Auto Glass we had a small sing in a very odd place in our windshield. Instead of immediately taking our money they advised us to see if the ding would become a crack. Eventually it did and they took care of us on the spot in less than an hour. Yes I would definitely use them again and recommend them to all my friends. Service is lifetime. Nothing is better than that.

I had to replace my windshield and did not want to spend too much time to do that. Got an appointment in 1.5 hours after I called Lightning. The price was a good surprise, because it was at least $100 less that Ive heard from other windshield replacement companies. A nice lady in the office helped me to verify if glass replacement is covered by my auto insurance. Fortunately, it was, so Ive payed $50 total. The lady helped me to submit a claim to the insurance company, so I did not have to worry about that myself. Complete replacement process took about 1 hour, that went pretty quickly with a great Wireless network bandwidth that Lightning has.

This was the least expensive place I found to replace my windshield. They dont have the most wonderful waiting room but you wont need it because they were really fast. Also, I was pleasantly surprised when they were able to save my windshield stickers for work/oil change/etc. I definitely recommend Lightening Auto Glass.

Thank you Lightning Glass for helping me through a car window replacement following an attempted break-in. I had never filed a claim with insurance for car damage and they helped me through it easily. I showed up, window replaced, all the glass was vacuumed out of my car and even off my jacket. Done in less than 45 minutes. Good as new.

I had my car broken into on a Friday. I dealt with insurance company for hours. The best they could do was to get me an appointment with a company on Monday and I was going to have to pay my entire deductible of $500. I called Lightning Auto Glass because I had used them years before for something and had a good experience. They told me they could get me in for service in an hour and a half. They used OEM glass (which was in stock). 3 hours later, my glass was repaired and the total cost was $185. Love this place.

All in all, outstanding! There was no wait time as promised when I called, the service was done correctly and in a timely fashion, and the price was as promised. What else can you ask for?

I choose this place because of the reviews, I scheduled an appointment at 9 am today. The tint guy was an hour late and his explanation was traffic, anyone that lives in Atlanta knows everyday there is traffic. I wasted an hour just sitting there waiting, I guess this business does not care about its customers time. This is not a few good professional employee this tint guy. The business did not even offer a discount for wasting my time I will not ever be going back to this place again if I could give a zero star I would
