I love this store however not buying from there until they change their policy of trying on clothes. If they can take in consignments from someones home then I really dont see why clothes can not be tried on. There are other major stores that have the same policy but at least you can take them back.Just my opinion

I enjoy shopping here and have found some really nice clothing that I love for great prices. They have clothing for men, women, and children, plus some jewelry, shoes and handbags. I also have sold clothes here and have made some good money. Its easy to do, and doesnt cost anything to consign, you just sign up and then bring up to ten items a week in good condition. The store takes a percentage of the sale, but compared to online marketplaces like Poshmark, you usually make out much better through Act II. Plus no shipping cost (which for Poshmark is 7.11 per item...ouch!). I shop both places and prefer shopping at Act II for that very reason, honestly I hate how much the shipping is at Poshmark and it stops me from buying there more often. Items must have tags, and they cant have stains or defects. The women who work here are all very very nice and Ive never seen them be unfriendly to anyone. Just dont get angry when they decline a clothing item as they are always very fair and only decline it if they know it wont sell. Ive had many things declined that I thought were fine, but under the bright fluorescent lighting defects are much more prominent. Im actually very glad they are so vigilant of defects because I shop here and I want what I buy to be nice. Also wash and iron items that need it as it will sell for a higher price if it looks nicer.

The staff lady hat waited on me was super. She toldr some of my items would be great for spring next year. She showed me how to remove fuzies & advised me on other options.

Act II has pretty good clothing option. Like any consignment shop, it’s usually a hit or miss for me. They select their clothes carefully. I have found really nice shoes and sweaters there. They have clothing and accessories for all members of the family

A little pricey for second hand but that seems to be par for the course for Act II. All in all though they have a good selection of clothing for all ages and all seasons. I personally would prefer if they would branch out and sell more than just clothing and footwear. If they offered more of a selection along the lines of other thrift stores they would get more of my business.

Place is always busy when I am there. The sales gals are pleasant, great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this establishment for selling your used clothes.

They have really nice clothes in good condition for a reasonable price. And they are continuously getting new arrivals, so there is new stuff to see every time you visit. Havent done any selling with them yet, but I would definitely considerate it in the future.

Went three times looking for pants for my 12 year old grandson and found two pair each time for less than $7 total. Great staff.

Good selection, a little smaller than the one in Hagerstown. Just bought a brand new pair of work boots

Nice stuff at fairly reasonable prices. Some things are definitely over priced.Extremely choosy when accepting clothing though. And inconsistent as well. It depends on who takes the items in.

Typical consignment shop. Ive bought things here many times and have only ended up with maybe two pieces of clothing that were unwearable due to defects I found once I got home. They have a no return policy which stinks when you realize something has a hole in it when you get home. They seem to check their stuff pretty well though. With that many clothes somethings going to get missed. Its a risk you take when buying second hand.

I will never spend another dime in this place.We shop here often. We were there again this afternoon and my 2 1/2 yr/o needed to use the bathroom. The lady behind the counter said NO, you will need to go to the gas station down the street. .... Seriously?! I am a paying customer and my toddler needs to use the bathroom and you turn us away? Very upsetting for a mama with her hands full....

Love there clothing here, they watch what goes out on racks, very friendly people. Crowded though has no shopping cart. You have to hold your clothes. A little pricey, but a lot to choose from.

Ive tried to visit this store and it seems like everytime I go they are closed way before their closing hours. This wastes my time and frustrates me immensely. If you are going to have a business with set hours, you need to be OPEN during those hours.

Why pay major $? Love to find bargains!

I’ve been told, unfortunately that the staff that works there gets first pick. Evident from what’s on the floor. Not great selection because all the good stuff is picked over by staff. They should have to wait til it’s in the floor too.

When I moved here from a 3rd world country I decided I will help in any way I can my hometown. I sell my clothes i dont use any longer, as well as donations from relatives/friends. The money goes to different causes ( last cause was a 7 month baby diagnosed with leukemia) . The clothes that do not see, I take with me when I fly home and donate it to orphanages or just people who can use it. I have been consigning with over 5 shops in the past. All great experiences, until this one! I could not find my contract, I went into the store to inquire when I could pick up whatever did not sell. The lady said after November 22, per my request she wrote it on the printed statement. When I called in November, manager Sara said they were donated. Went to the store, Manager quite rude as well as the owner Taisia A Marchiano. They never apologized for the mistake their shop made, and even hinted that I wrote the date on the paper to self serve me cause. They said its my fault I lost the contract ( I have an infant baby and just moved so yes its my fault for being a human) Also said they have so many customers, giving me the idea that one less is not an issue for them. I requested, I get whatever I have left there and she even had the nerve to charge me $1,50 fee for giving me the payout amount. I find it odd that out of 38 items i had only 14 sold and the rest 24 were donated. Please avoid this business since they do not care about their consignors. My neighbor had a bad experience with them as well. Plus I find it very weird ( not only me but also other consigning shops in town) that they make you find the items in the store, when its so much easier for them to do it. I think this is a way for them to have you donate your items. I wish them the best, however every time i drive by makes me re-live the awful experience I had with them. Stay away.
