Weve purchased numerous items of furniture from Colony House Furniture over the past 25+ years after leaving the Marine Corps and moving back to Pennsylvania. Colony House has provided us with exceptional quality furniture and excellent service when we needed service on items under warranty. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality furniture at reasonable pricing.

The sales staff was friendly and helpful. That is not the issue. Do not give a time frame and not be able to deliver. We have been waiting 3+ months for our couch we paid full price for on day one, only to be told expected ship is still another 4 weeks away with no guarantee of that. I understand we are in a pandemic and things are harder to get from overseas but in that case stop selling products that you absolutely know you will not be able procure and giving an initial time frame that you know you can’t meet just to make a sale. Very frustrating

I have purchased a few items from This store in the last 2 years, I have now filed 3 claims for a sectional sofa! Both recliners have quit working and the material on the armrest is spitting! Not even 2 years old!Our kitchen table that was purchased less than one year ago already has a broken chair!I will NEVER buy from here again. The customer service I have received has been terrible, And the goods they sell are only warrantied for one year!

If I can give this store a negative I would but since the lowest is 1 that’s why I give.Horrible costumer service been 10+months since I bought furniture and it still on its way. The fact that they tell you it’s on way for months is ridiculous. There scamming people so becareful with them. Just plain rude and unprofessional.

Wow, this place is absolutely fantastic, they have a wonderful environment and even better staff! I was greeted and helped as soon as I walked in the door, was given a good amount of options and advice for finding the perfect bed for me. My sales associate walked me through the whole process and was helpful the whole time! They have a great offer for financing and they do free delivery! I recently purchased a mattress and box springs set for an antique bed. The assistance I received was great. I called several days later to inquire how much it would cost to purchase a lower foundation. My call was routed to one of the owners. He neglected to look at my invoice, talked how much delivery would cost and how did he know my home was bug free. I ordered another size boxspring. I have been told 2 months in a row it would take another 30 days before the foundation is available. I went to another store and will have it in 5 days. Beware

This is unlike any other furniture store Ive been to. There is no high pressure, no pushy sales people. Im so used to getting glommed onto in a furniture store by commission-mad sales people, this was a joy. If I had a question or two I could always find someone to help, but was also left alone to wander and browse when I wanted to. Ive bought an Amish-built table and a electric recliner (made in the US!) and couldnt be happier with either piece. They also have an extensive made-to-order selection of Amish-built furniture. It takes a bit of time to get it, but its worth the wait. The Outlet across the street is also a great place to shop, and the fellow that always seems to be working in helpful and friendly.

Unbelievable Customer service, they truly mean customer service is their priority. We had a flexsteel sofa love seat that was defective and they came to the house picked it up and told us to pick something else in the store. Corina and Chase are the best, as well as the owner Mark. We stopped by just to look and ask questions about durability and quality. The owner met with us and answered many many questions. No hard sell, no pressure. Just by answering our questions, he made a future buyer out of my wife and I. We spent almost 3 hours in the store sitting on ALOT of furniture. When it was time to leave, we realized that somewhere in this big store , my cars key fob fell out of my pocket into the furniture. The owner again helped us out and assisted us with searching for almost 45 minutes trying to find the key fob. We were unable to find it but he took my information and assured me he would continue to look. We honestly have never been treated that well in any store that we can remember. Highly recommend doing business here!! We will be returning to make a purchase..........and to keep searching for our key.

Stopped in to escape a huge storm and take a look at some bedroom furniture. The staff was wonderfully helpful and honest. I had bought a queen bed ensemble from them in the past and was very happy with the price and quality. The same applied this time! I found and bought a set that I will be able to turn into a wonderful family heirloom at a price that I wasnt expecting. I cant wait for the beautiful furniture to be delivered so I can start to enjoy it!

Pricing at Colony House is always better than all other stores; the staff is always helpful and never pushy; and the store is arranged so the buyer can see what the product would look like in their home. We suggested Colony House to our son and daughter-in-law to furnish their new home, and they went elsewhere and paid more for the identical product. After building our new home 14 years ago, we went to Colony House to look for new furniture. Not only did they have everything we wanted but their prices were better then what we could find anywhere (and believe me, we looked) They delivered and set up everything for us at no extra charge. Over the years we have finished rooms and added more furniture with Colony House being our go to store. I absolutely love everything we have gotten and the quality of the furniture is fantastic. It has held up to three boys and now a few grandkids. Nothing speaks to quality as a leather sofa surviving little kids. lol Another aspect of this store that I found a bonus is that everyone there was so willing to help us find exactly what we are looking for and also help us to match the colors already present in our home. Colony House continues to be the best place around for quality furniture and superb customer service. Id never go anywhere else.

We moved into the Fayetteville, Pa. area last fall. We had a whole house to furnish and did not know where to go. I remember buying some furniture for my Son here years ago, so he suggested why not at least see what they have to offer as our taste is more modern. So we went into the showroom with an open mind and met Sheldon one of the owners Sons. He listened to our needs and we told him about our one dilemma as to we had no idea of how to place a sofa in our open family room. So he went over and brought his father over to further discuss it with us. We were in luck that Mark offered to come out to our home that same night and he was able to suggest a solution to our problem. We are so very happy with all of our purchases with this company and would totally recommend them to anyone who does not want someone to follow them around like you are buying a new car, however will check on you periodically to see if you need help. If they did not have what I wanted I asked them if they had any catalogs that I could look through. This is a pressure free company. We have been extremely happy with them along with the delivery team and anything that we had a problem with which has been very minimal. I just recently learned that they sell window blinds as well. I was thrilled with the aspect of dealing with them once again given their outstanding prices and above all the commitment to their customers. There prices on the blinds were less than half the price of Hunter Douglas that I received from a company in Waynesboro, and with Lafayette blinds being in business for over 60 years and made right here in the US was a plus. I was thrilled to find out this service was available to us as there are not many stores up here in the area that do this. The blinds are sold in the Gettysburg store just a short drive to meet with Kaitlin an extremely nice person who is there to help answer all of your questions. Her along with another employee came out to measure and the order was placed. We are so looking forward to receiving them. As you can see, I could write a book on this company, but feel they have made our lives so much easier and less stressful with their expertise, kindness and great communication. From the moment you walk in you feel welcome and once you get to know them, they are part of your family. So thank you all so much for making us feel welcome and caring.

No one even said hello or Ill be with you as soon as I can... Walked around the entire building looking at sectionals. Really disappointed. They did have a huge store with many selections, so I gave them more than one star for that.
