*Avoid if possible*AutoZone itself isnt a terrible company (that Im aware of), but the employees Ive encountered so far at the Chambersburg store have been very rude and speak in a condescending manner on a consistent basis. Ive heard other customers asking for help or advice there, too, and it has been met with an insufferable pompous attitude from the employees. When Ive personally asked for information or a specific part, I come away feeling like I was just in an argument and I had to work for the item(s) I just paid for. This isnt just sometimes, either, but EVERYTIME I have walked into that store, thinking I was giving the place yet another chance to give me at least a moderately pleasant experience, I have been disappointed. I mean, Im just trying to fix a car and I really dont expect that much. This place really grinds my gears (😁)

Very slow. Had 4 people in front of me with 2 on registers and that took 20 minutes. The customer in front of me ordered a part that should have been on hold but wasnt. Both employees on the registers went looking for it instead of the just the one.Update: Looked in their book for an oil filter. Under my car it had PH3614 for all 3 types for fram. So I buy that one. What do you know it the wrong size.

Wonderful service today. Had battery issues and had great help and advice from the staff. They charged my battery for free and then it turned out that I had a bad battery. They exchanged it since it was within its warranty. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful. Thank you!

Excellent Service! I was stranded and had to jump start my vehicle and drive to the nearest location to replace an old unreliable battery. My son told me to go to AutoZone as they are a fraction of the price and no wait time. He was right! The battery purchase included free installation (which only took about 15 minutes), disposal of the old battery, and free testing to make sure nothing else was wrong with the vehicle electronics when starting the engine.If I had gone to a garage, the wait time would have been 2 hours and the price much higher. Prior to driving to AutoZone, I stopped at another auto parts store but they didnt have available staff to install a new battery. Luckily, my vehicle started up again and I arrived at AutoZone finding out they will also jumpstart as well as test my battery if needed free of charge!

For the last 15 years a lot of the Staff at Chambersburg store shouldnt be working there. Not all but most seem like they dont want to help you with the specialty items or hard to find items. I find myself going to Napa and Fisher Auto parts. They have quicker service and are always will to go the extra mile for the customer.

Prices for parts here are too expensive and if you dont order online it costs even more to just shop in store and the staff is uninformed about motor vehicles

This is a great place to buy parts for your car. Prices are cheaper than Advance Auto. The store is well organized and clean. All the employees are always so helpful and very nice. Had to come for parts yesterday and Zap was the one that helped me out and he did a great job at answering my questions and locating what I needed. I highly recommend this store.

Zero knowledge. Bad customer service. 10/10 would not recommend. It’s like a group of men that failed at getting to work on vehicles running a store for auto supplies.

After that I priced some parts as she very patient with me being oblivious to the actual names to each other items Aus pricing shes very informal and very tedious on the details I give the store 5 because of her work ethic knowledge and patience with a customer that can be egg headed with names and thank you mam and have a nice day

Went to advanced auto parts to get my check engine like looked at and they wouldn’t even do the diagnostic test due to covid!!! I wasn’t going to buy something without fully knowing what was wrong with my van!! So I left and went to autozone. They let me do the test myself and they read it. He even came out to my van to double check the read and offered me what I needed. Cuilen was the associate helping me and he was fantastic! So nice and friendly explained everything even though it didn’t know what he was talking about lol but I want to go back to him every time I need something for my van!! Thank you Cuilen!! My new favorite autozone worker :)

Awesome crew

They saved my day being open on a Sunday and having the starter motor I needed. I also like the store layout better than their competitors - the wall on the right has all of the consumables in one spot making shopping much quicker.

Zap was amazing! I was having car troubles on my way home from work and I pulled into cricket wireless parking lot to shut my car off and turn it back on, that didn’t work so I had to get jumped. After getting jumped I walked over to autozone to ask them if they could test my battery even though it wasn’t in their parking lot, he gladly walked over to cricket with me to test my battery. Definitely a great asset to Autozone!

Get this! After auto zone telling me my battery was dead after they tested it Tuesday. I took the battery to Maryland Wensday where I purchased it they checked it twice it passed with flying colors! So 35 miles back down to pick it up after work today! Not to mention Ive been trying to get an answer to why and called since opening hours this morning and no answer 2hours later. I suppose they dont answer the phone either Probably outside smoking which is what I see everytime I drive past

Nice place nice helpful staff but no longer offering the great competitive online discounts and promos that other local competition provides. They will price match but will not price match the cost that the promotion reduces it to which is senseless....

Ordered online. Got charged twice and got.two notifications that my parts were in. When I go to pick up they say it was only one order and deny that both were charged yet I got two notices of ready to pick up and two charges. Buy all your parts online or elsewhere if you dont want to pay triple what they charge for the same brand/part number on top of double charging you and keeping your parts.

Places is okay but checkout takes to long they run one register even if there is a line of people going out the door

The worse parta store i have ever been in.stood in line for 20 mins..only one person in front of me.the workers there were rude .had to go in the back with the guyAnd pick out the parts i needed.they they take phone calls that last forever while a paying customer is standing in line wating.will never go back to that store..i have spent thousands of dollars with auto zone..but never will i spend anymore with them

WORST PARTS STORE EVER!They never, even on busy Saturdays have more than 2-3 people working, which means if one person is outside helping a customer there is only one person working in the whole store. The place is a joke. I was just there, on Sunday evening after Napa and Advance closed hoping to pick up some undercarriage paint. I stood and waited for 15 minutes and was never acknowledged at all. One single girl was working in the store and she spent more time flirting with the guy looking for parts than she did helping him. There were about 4 people at the register waiting and two other people that needed parts behind the counter...and she never even said so much as Ill be there in a minute. After 15 min just sat my stuff down and walked out. Other customers in line did the same...and this isnt the first time Ive done this at Autozone. Terrible customer service, never enough staff on the clock and you know, their prices arent worth the hassle. Go to Napa or Advance.

Customer service was very poor. Woman at the counter was very rude and cursing in the store about the delivery driver being there. I was trying to ask about something that was on the website and she cut me off telling me she has nothing to do with the online sales and just went on to the next customer not asking if there was anything else that I needed so I walked out not at all happy with the store at all.

Had a great selection at fair prices. It just took such a long time to check out.
