I stopped in because the smoker caught my nose. My first impression was how Clean everything was, especially the meat they had on display.These are some of the cleanest cuts of meat I have ever seen. I looked at the tag expecting a high price because of the quality but was even more surprised that theyre pretty close to the chain stores or better. :), AND it supports a local business.Yup, this is Quality you DO write home about. #ShopLocal

Everything is amazing!! Weve tried the Pepperoni Sticks, Honey Pepper Sticks, Original Jerky, Enchiladas, Pulled Pork Wrap, and all of their salads. We have LOVED every single thing and cant wait to try more. You will not be disappointed in Montgomerys Meats. Id give 6 stars if I could.

By far the best Italian Sub in Southern Oregon! Id love to try the rest of their menu but the minute I walk in, I start salivating for the Italian so I get it every time! We love their meats, especially the smoked pork chops.

Moved out here from Kansas City 2 years ago... this is the first BBQ I have found that can actually be called BBQ. Delicious.

My family has been raising cattle for 30+ years. We put a lot of time and money into a steer to raise it right and finished it out lean. Montgomerys Meats processed our steer. The meat came back very gamey with a lot of fat content. This was not the steer we raised and dropped off. Think twice before trusting them with your processing.

The only place to go to in Oregon! Ive never been disappointed here. Anything you get there from steaks, to pepper sticks and jerky, to their ribs and tri tip, will absolutely take your breath away. Amazing and friendly service everytime. I could not recommend this place enough.

This place is AWESOME. A quality lunch at an affordable price. Their meat selection is outstanding and priced below market. I recommend going on a Thursday/Friday, the outdoor grill is hard at work on delicious tri-tip, chicken and sausage. The staff is great and always very helpful.

I stoped by Sat Feb 29th and picked up a lunch special ribs, cole slaw and a drink.The ribs are perfect! Nice smoke ring, moist and tender yum. I also bought a beautiful ribeye for dinner if you like BBQ you owe it to yourself to stop by

My husband and I have been going to Montgomery meats for a few years now but unfortunately we will not be going there. They have made a few changes like cutting the amount of meat in there sandwiches in half but still charging $10.00. Now, the best staff (Billy & Michelle) they had have either been let go or have quit. So, unfortunately we will not be going back.

Do not ever take your meat to Montgomery. If you have a cow or pig that has been butchered you will not get your meat back.Your beef will taste old and gaming within the first 2 months. Your bacon will be watery and tasteless your pork chops and other cuts will be pale, white and flavorless. It is making me mark at least 1 star to post this. I would Montgomerys a negative 3 stars. If you want to be disappointed bring your meat here if not go somewhere else.

Its hard for me to leave this review, but I will no longer be taking my meat to this location. I have had 7 pigs done here in the last 3 yearsYear one: they forgot to give us a pig. We didnt realize what a chopped up pig looked like, but thought it was odd that of the two pigs, their were only 2 hams. We had to drive back 45 miles to pick up the other pig.Year two: Three pigs dropped off. Pig #3 was for a friend. Pig three must have had an odd mutation as he had enough ribs for all three pigs. My friend had lots of ribs that year, we did not. We also paid for all of our bacon to be peppered, none of it was.Year three: They did not charge me to pepper the bacon this year. We asked that it be cut into THIN slices. Each 1 pound pack of bacon was wrapped with 6-8 pieces of THICK bacon. And when I say thick, we are talking small steak. Its peppered, but ruined. This holds true for all of our jowel bacon as well, we will be cubing it and frying it for bacon bits as that is all it is now good for.The staff here are very friendly. Doug in particular is a very nice guy, but having my meat taken care of here was a very large waste of my time and money. I would not have even grew out pigs this year if I could have forsaw the horrific butcher job.Dont take your business here.

Sad to see jerrys ruined by whoever owns it now. The last two years I know I didnt get my beef back just some old heifer not a one year old steer. Was hoping the first year was a fluke and I was being hard on them but after this year never again. Dont give them your hard work and prized animal so they can sell it in there market and give you some nasty heifer.

We had a half grass-fed beef and a whole hog processed at Jerrys. TO our dismay, they did not follow our cut sheets. Their ground meats come in tubes, which ordinarily I find very convenient, but theirs leak as they defrost and the packages are not the same weights, and the grind is erratic. We have many packages of very tough cuts labeled london broil that look like nothing we have ever seen and other packages labeled tenderized round which is a mystery as they talked us into some tenderized rump which we do not have, and this stuff is nasty tasting and mushy and yet still tough. Upon consulting another butcher and reflecting, we realize they did not age this beef at all. Our pig contains cuts we did not order and the ham is full of gristly stuff and very watery. The chops are all different thicknesses. Just say no.

100% Unsatisfied!! This shop was unable to present me with a hanging weight, I received a phone call while my deer was in the middle of being processed asking if I wanted pepperoni or teriyaki sticks. I was then told the minimum was 15lbs so I chose on the one type at the minimum required. When I picked up my $198.50 deer, I was still unable to get my hanging weight. AND I was forced to pay for 23lbs of pepperoni sticks at $4.50 a pound. That is $103.50 in pepperoni sticks! ABSOLUTLY UNPROFESSIONAL. Not only will I never go there again, I will tell my experience to anyone that asks and will definitely recommend they go elsewhere. I have been convinced to butcher my own from now on. Even messing

OMGoodness ! I just bought todays special, a pulled pork bbq sandwich, with chips and a drink for $7.99 , and WOW! It is delicious ! Homemade bread, on site smoked pork that is tender and yummy, with a delish coleslaw and bbq sauce on the side...WOW !Soooooo good ! Not to mention that they have an excellent fresh meat selection that is very reasonably priced and all natural from Oregon. Beef, Chicken, Pork, Game meats, Full Service Deli, meat processing and smoking.... Wow ! We just moved here from Arizona, with the intention to eat more natural, less processed, healthier foods, so I am on the hunt (so to speak- please pardon my puns, lol) , for butchers, fresh produce and home products that are reasonably Priced . I am so happy to have found a butcher shop so close with so much variety !

Totally ripped off. Obviously will never use again and will have beef processed elsewhere
