Truly i was amazed how welcoming and honest work they do.. i came twice. first time no appointment because i had oil leak and bill was yes bring it this cant wait and they fixed it. and today i am here to get my breaks changed. the will give you honest estimate for the job.at another location breaks change estimate was $1200. while here after they checked the car said only the front needed change and it would cost $216.Thanks for your job..you earned a customer ☺️

My family and I were traveling and my headlight went out again. I stopped by this auto repair location and received the best help from the nicest gentleman. He was able to diagnose my headlight problem and refer me to possible businesses that would be able to repair my electrical problem. Amazing service and friendly, caring staff. I was driving, had a flat, made it to Tire Choice. Panicked Because I needed to pick up my daughter from school in less than an hour. They had my tire in stock and me out the door for a very decent price in time to go get her. So grateful and would recommend to anyone.

Needed new tires, alignment and rear end issues. They kept me updated on everything and fixed my wife’s car in a timely manner. Very friendly staff. The car hasn’t been driven much since the repairs. My wife drove it today and noticed a vibration and grinding noise coming from the front end. I had her park it until I could get home and check it. Turns out 4 of the six lug nuts on the drivers side front wheel were very loose (I turned them with my fingers). The only way that 4 lug nuts on the same wheel are loose like that is if they were not tightened properly. My wife and grandkids were in the car when this was noticed. Not happy at all!!!!

Pretty impressed with the service I received from this shop today. Definitely a solid team effort from Manager Steven, assistant manager and the technician today. Steven took the time to explain and clarify the estimate provided. Steven was able to order tires from the distribution center and had them arrive within an hour. The assistant manager completed my alignment and on its test drive the technician identified a modification should be made and the team made the adjustment to get me back on the road. I visited this location for an oil change and tire rotation. I used to go here when it was Monro and let me just say...what an improvement! The manager was incredibly friendly, personable, and was working hard to train his staff appropriately to make everyone was a well-rounded employee. He made sure to thank me for my patience as his staff was learning. I chose to wait for my car which used to mean I was probably there for an hour. I was in and out in about 25 minutes. As soon as I arrived my car was taken and the entire staff was all hands on deck to get me out of there as quickly as possible. The manager brought up the coupon online without me having to mention it which I appreciate. I was incredibly pleased with my experience and will be sure to return in the future!

I had poor customer service at this location and nothing was done to resolve the issue. I visit this location on Saturday in hopes to getting a tire patched but would not have been the best option for my tire. Which I agreed. Matthew the manager recommended to get a new tire which I was told to come back on Monday at 10am so he can get from the warehouse and put on the new tire. Matthew assured he will be there Monday and I would not have any issues. Unfortunately when I got there he was not in per his employee he got sick on his way to work today. He did not leave any information for any of the workers to help me, I asked the young man if he could reach out to Matthew which he did and said my only option. I need to wait until 1:30 for someone to bring me a tire vs providing me with another tire which they had in stock on Saturday now it’s not available. This not good customer service when you advise a customer to come in at a certain time then tell them to come in at a different time, because of your mistake. A manager should of advised another employee to get the tire if he was sick or someone could of reached out to me and explain what happen versus being told once I got there. Communication is always the key when being a manager and I feel this was not delivered today. I hope this does not happen to anyone else.

I am ***terminating*** my 15 year relationship as a customer of Monro/now Tire Choice as a result of the service I recently received at the Whipp Rd, Centerville store. I drove my 2016 Toyota Highlander in for a simple car battery change and after 1 1/2 days ended up with over $1000 in damages to replace the semi-conductor power integration computer along with the alternator & airbag fuses. My Toyota dealer confirmed it was due to a backwards jump done on my car which was not done by me since I physically drove my vehicle to Monro. •••“It costs a business 7 times more money to gain a new customer than it does to retain an existing one.”••• I contacted Monro Corporation who accused me of causing the damage on my vehicle and refused to assist with recovering my loss. In addition***- Ladies*** - if you do not want to be patronized by being referred to as “Sweetie” or “Hon”, I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

This is the worst places I have ever taken my work trucks too. They told me rotor was bad, which was in correct and a lie, plus they didnt even notice my front struts were snapped in two when they took off the front rotor supposedly. Not to mention, I got an oil change as well, 2 weeks later took my truck to a different mechanic shop who is a friend of mine, my truck had 1 quart of oil in it and there is no oil leak. They didnt even put oil in my truck. DO NOT RECOMMEND. HOW THEY STAY IN BUSINESS RIPPING PEOPLE OFF IL NEVER KNOW, DONT GET RIPPED OFF BY THIS COMPANY

Expect sloppy work on even the most minor issues. Not a hint of professional behavior. The guys are nice but it seems like there’s no one running the place just a bunch of parts monkeys show up whenever. Been there twice because I had to demand they fix their mistakes...on a tire replacement!

I scheduled an appointment for a used car inspection with Jeremiah. They got the car in on time and reviewed the few small things that they found with the car and provided a cost sheet of what they would charge to repair so I could take that back to the dealership. Jeremiah was so nice and didnt even charge me for this service! Any time I have done this with other cars I am usually charged anywhere from 20-40 dollars. Thank you for your help Jeremiah!

On arrival the guy I had initial contact with was very friendly and nice. I came in for a oil change and I wanted my suspension looked at, due to pulling I was having in my vehicle. I was told I needed ball joints in the past by another mechanic but I couldn’t remember which side. So I wanted to know if what I was told was true and if it was, I wanted the labor completed by Monroe. The guy came back and told me my suspension was fine and the pulling was due to me needing a wheel balance. So I got the wheel balance done. After I left my vehicle was still pulling and seemed off balance. At this point I figured I needed a wheel alignment. So today I went to another mechanic shop to get a alignment. The tech brought me outside to physical show me my ball joint damage. I’m no mechanic and only thing I know about vehicles is to put gas in it. But I clearly noticed severe damage to my right side ball joint. I’m disappointed with Monroe for not checking into my suspension and lying to me and saying they looked over my suspension and found nothing wrong. I was trying to spend money to get my car fixed... So why would you turn a customer who is trying to spend money away? Even if you couldn’t do the repairs on that Saturday or just didn’t feel like it, I would have preferred you say that instead of “Everything on your suspension is tight and looks fine” Words of advice be honest!!

These guys are top shelf. I had some serious issues from a botched exhaust installation from another shop. I took my car to the Whipp Rd. store in Centerville where I was assured the problem would be taken care of. After assessing the problem they went after it. They showed me everything that was wrong and explained what they were going to do to fix it. Everything that was wrong was fixed. I cant say enough good things about these guys. From now Ill be taking my business to them. Thanks Matt, Christopher, Jeremiah, and the rest of the team.

They have pulled a nail out of my tire for no charge and take care of regular maintenance for me. Prices seem on par with everyone else. The same lead guy is always there, so I like the consistency. I feel well taken care of.

What a great experience! I had a slow leak in one of my tires. On Labor Day I couldnt find anyone open, when I remembered Monro Muffler and Brake Service. I took the car to Monro on Whipp Rd abt 10 AM. Jeremiah looked at the tire and found the problem in the flat part of the tread. Greg pulled it in immediately and removed the tire. Jeremiah took over and patched it. The whole process took only about 15 minutes. I told Jeremiah how much I was quoted on a new tire when I bought the car, he checked Monroes price - it is $72 dollars less per tire! Besides the super quick service and great price quote - there was no charge for patching my tire! What WOW service. Ill be back :)

I was a panicked person with a flat tire. I didnt realize how bad until I went to fill it up and the neighboring gas stations air machine was not working. I saw the Morno garage door open and slowly pulled in front of their doors. The young gentle man was super kind. I asked if he would fill it and he said yes. Once he started to fill it he discovered that there was a issue with the stem. I called my husband and he talked to the young man which agreed to check it. I know they were ready to close but the young man - now I know is Jeremiah and the other gentleman Greg worked together to fix my tire. I live out in the country and have a good 45 minute drive which would have left me stranded for sure but thanks to Jeremiah and Greg. Jeremiah and Greg could have filled my tire and sent me on my way ... shoot it was closing time for them but they didnt. I cant thank them both enough for taking the time to go the extra mile on checking the tire but fixing the tire. They were GREAT!!!!

I am very pleased. I called about a tire with a possible nail in it. They said come on down. Fixed it and then didnt charge me. Even fixed my check tire light. I will definitely recommend this place and use them in the future.

Awesome service! Take this from someone who has been working on his own cars for over 40 years. The customer service here is how it used to and how it should be. I bought a set of tires 2 weeks ago at NTB that kept leaking. NTB would not make time to correct or even check the issue. I even took the tires off the car and offered to leave them, still it was a no, we cant get to them today. Tire Choice found leaking valve stems and had them fixed in less than 15 minutes! Amazing! Then he said I didnt owe him anything! What? This was NTBs issue, not theirs, but he was still being the nicer guy and providing better service. The least I could do is buy them all lunch, so I did. They will be getting my business in the future and they should be getting yours too. Thanks again!

I just moved here and unfortunately got a nail in my tire. My co-worker recommended this location to me. They are very kind, honest, and fast! I will always come back to this place.

After having my tires rotated this morning, my left front wheel fell off the vehicle about 500 yards away from the shop because the technician didnt tighten the lug nuts on the wheel. I obviously wont ever return to this location and would recommend staying away from this location if you value your safety. Im just happy my wife and kids werent in the car driving down the highway when the wheel fell off. I had to give them 1 star for this comment to post but obviously they deserve 0 stars.

I got an oil change at this location yesterday. This morning my oil light came on the dash and there is no oil. The dipstick is completely dry.

I went in for a new appointment after talking to an employee here while I got an oil change and he told me it would be $50 to put my new tires WITH rims on it already on my car, and do an alignment and balance and he gave it to me complimentary.I WAS SOOO HAPPY AND APPRECIATIVE I even gave him a 20$ tip! BUT....soon I found out all they did was put my tires and rims on car without doing anything else and broke one of my lugnuts off and now my car is shaking like crazy! I asked them to fix it the next day and they claimed that I never asked for these services and felt attacked but I have a copy of the service request. I expected to pay for the full service and never expected it to be free, and even in store explained what i needed specifically as I requested online.I don’t want them to feel attacked as they said they were today. This is legitimately what happened.

Went in here about 2 weeks ago and the staff was great! Larry, was really personable and honest. I’ve already told many of my friends about them, and I will Deff be coming back for all my car needs.

I went to this location 3 times to get my squeaky brakes fixed and left three times with squeaky brakes. I was beyond aggravated. I tried a 4th time and Larry was there as the new manager. He figured out the problem almost immediately and had it fixed quickly thereafter. I have since returned several times for minor maintenance and a couple services they don’t offer but Larry was happy to oblige. I now refer everyone who needs service to them. I am a Very pleased customer and will continue to go there as long as Larry is running it.

I took my car, a 2004 BMW X3 in for what was an intermittent loss of engine power with dashboard warning indicator lights showing EML, 4x4, and brake light. I took it in 6/28/19 and I was told that everything diagnostically was pointing to the throttle body and to replace it would be around $800. I told them to go ahead with the repair since I had exhausted all other options as I usually do the repairs to my vehicle myself. After a week of waiting for my car, my wife picked it up Tuesday 7/9/19. When I woke up after working the previous night, I took it for a test drive that next morning. It seemed to be working fine. I only drove it 4 miles. Later in the afternoon I began to drive it to the store and on my way home the symptoms started to appear again. Engine surging, and then it eventually cutoff in the middle of and intersection. i was able to turn off the ignition and restart it and it drove home. It did this two more time on the way. So I went online to the internet BMW forums for some advice. I was told to check the DISA valve and idle air control valve and make sure that they were clean. II went ahead and just purchased the items to replace them. When the parts arrived, I started to remove the air filter box. As I was looking down I noticed that the air intake extension that runs from the air box to the front air intake was just sitting at the bottom of the engine lying on the bottom engine cover. I took a picture. I then went to remove the DISA valve bolts, and there was only one of two bolts holding the DISA valve in. Could not locate the second bolt at all. I took a picture of where the missing bolt was supposed to be. When I got to the idle air control valve, the two bolts that bolt it to the engine were not completely screwed in and loose, not even hand tight. I was able to remove them with my fingers. I have been taking my cars to Monro for years whenever I cannot diagnose a problem. I was almost going to take my car elsewhere this time because the last time I took my car in for an oil leak, they lifted the car and saw oil all over the front crankshaft and told me that the repair would be over $1000. I declined the repair and took it home and again sought assistance from the BMW forums online and was told by a member to check the oil filter adapter gasket. I replaced it and no more leak. Turned out to be a $10 repair for me to complete myself. Anyways, back to my current issue. So I am now back to square one as the throttle body they replaced was obviously not the problem and I am out $801 for a repair that did not fix my problem as well as feeling as though the work performed was substandard. I had to go to BMW to get purchase the missing bolt for the DISA valve as well. I am dissatisfied with the quality of work and that the throttle body was not the issue. It probably could have been tested once they removed it to check its functionality before buying a new one. I did not go back to tell them about the issues because I have lost my trust in their workmanship. I went on Monro corporate website and filed a complaint. I never received a response. I received an email on 7/18/19 requesting me to fill out a customer survey, so I did. I then received an email requesting me to contact them regarding my survey. I have attempted to contact the on 7/22/19, 7/25/19, and 7/30/19. Each time I left a detailed message and left my telephone number. I eventually did receive a return phone call from Monro. I returned the phone call several times only to get a voice mailbox. I have left messages with them as well but still have not actually spoke to anyone. I feel that customer service is not a high priority as well.

I use to trust this shop with all of my car problems and have been going to them for 4 years now But now I cant even trust them to do a break job. I went into their shop about 3 weeks ago because I bought a new (used) car and it felt like it was having problems. They said they couldnt find any problems with them. Turns out my back breaks were so rusted that they were not working at all! and it put too much strain on my front breaks that it broke my caliper (which they said was starting to go but it wasnt anything to worry about yet). Now I have to get my entire break system redone $1,400 when before it would of cost me a fraction of the price! Worst part is that this went out while I was driving!! The steering wheel and the breaks all locked up and if I was still on the highway I would of crashed!!!! Beyond pissed and wont be returning to this shop!

I had brought my vehicle in to get a front end alignment. The gentleman was rude and dismissive. He told me after waiting for over an hour with three kids that I could not get an alignment cuz of bad tire rods, my brakes were going all the way to the ground, and it was unsafe. correct my abs light has been on, my brakes were fine, and my dad who is a 35+ year mechanic changed my tire rods three months before this. When I left nothing was serviced, my brakes dont work and my abs light is off which means no brakes (cuz to have brakes they had to lock in my abs). Needless to say my car is now broke down and im a single mom with three kids and im not happy about this. I will not be returning my vehicles here ever again. Worst service ever! Figure they would help a single mother out and try to get a car situated so i keep coming back to be safe not try to say something is wrong thats not and try to make me spend more money to not come....GGRRHH

OUTSTANDING!!!! 6 hours from home (down South), wind chill in W. Va the night before at 9 below, right at zero her in Centerville.Wiper fluid wont come out. On our way to a funeral we have to turn around and head back home from immediately. Had 30 minutes to spare before the ceremony and no appointment. NO PROBLEM!!! Took the car right in found the problem......Southern fluid freezes at these temps. Thawed the frozen fluid, replaced it.............Booyah!!!! Love these guys!!!

Update 10/8..... No returned call from Customer Service after my 3rd message.Update 10/3...... No returned call from Customer ServiceUpdate 10/2...... No returned call from Customer Service as of yet.Update: 10/1...... On 9/28, I took my car in for a 2nd opinion. The mechanic stated it is likely that the caliper damage was a result of no lubrication added when the brake pads were changed. He said that the other calipers are in good condition.... New question, if this was normal wear and/or neglect, wouldnt the other 3 would be in the same condition....... He confirmed what I have found in my research as well as what the Monroe manager stated in March (although he now denies). The age of the car and mileage does not support this repair need. Calipers typically do not require replacement until well over 100,000 miles and even then that is if the brake system is not routinely maintenanced- which is clearly not the case with this car. I have called the Customer Service line as requested with no answer or returned call as of yet.... I will update this review with their resolution.Original post on 9/27.........I recently had my brake pads replaced and my oil changed in 3 separate visits over the last 6 months, all which included a vehicle inspection. Today, my brake began squeaking, I brought my vehicle in immediately. They informed me that my caliper has seized and that my new brake pad has worn down to nothing, just metal. The repair was quoted at over $300 even though I had purchased life time warranty on my pads..... This seems strange to me as at my first visit in March, I specifically asked if the calipers were functional or required any service. The Manager said they were in fine working order and typically do not require anything when the brake pads are serviced routinely. Not to mention, the car has been inspected 2 additonal times (1 time just 2 weeks ago) at this location and nothing was mentioned regarding the caliper or the very worn brake pad?? My car is 5 years old, has about 75,000 miles and has had a VERY strict maintenance schedule.My research has found that calipers are normally good for a couple of hundred thousand miles if the brake system is care for- just as the manager said to me in March but now denies ever saying. I also discovered a couple of sources that say that the piston can be easily torn during a brake pad replacement. I have a couple of questions that I feel would be great for everyone considering this store....1.) Are they really inspecting your car or just blowing through the work so they can turn as many $18 oil changes as possible?2.) Should we feel safe to drive a car they say passed their inspection?3.) Did they tear the piston purposely to cause this additional repair so they can make-up the loss on these other cheap basic services?4.) Do you trust your car with a group of professionals who have no warranty on their work and even less concern for your safety?I contacted Customer Service with hopes to find a resolution and was greeted by the same condescending behavior I had experienced in the store. It is clear that this is their company culture and I would now expect nothing more at any location nationally. I was told I can pay for another inspection as a second opinion and if they find evidence that this damage was at fault to Monroe, he would see IF they would reimburse the expense but it was not a guarantee even if at fault.....

I have never had any trouble with this service station. I have been taking my cars and truck here for over 5 years. Occasional mistakes are made, but I have yet to have one happen to me. I highly recommend this station to anyone that wants service to their vehicle.

They charged me $33 for 10 minutes of Labor to change a headlight bulb that I pre-purchased from AutoZone! I will never come back here again.

$81 oil change even for synthetic is just too high compared to everyone else. That also includes a $10 off coupon. Ill be looking elsewhere going forward.

Brought my Jeep in for a tire patch. Was told I would receive a call when it was finished, but never received a call. It was not until I called them at 6:50pm to find out that my car was ready, but they were closing in 10 min. Luckily I only lived 2 min away otherwise I would not have had a vehicle to drive to the airport the next morning! On top of this issue they severely scratched my brand new wheels. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do as they make you sign a waiver stating that they are not responsible for damage. Will never be returning to this place.

I went for changing my brakes. They asked me to change my engine without even checking it. Lol.

Stopped by with a flat tire and Jeremiah filled my tire right up didnt have time to get it checked out but will be back
