Decent Walmart but not the best. Not as well stocked as some as the others

Shelves that have been half empty for weeks to months never seem to get restocked. You could visit a certain area of the store because you really need something and a month later, its condition is the same. Ive seen how it works over the years. Im not a problem customer either. I know Centereach is a busy area, but their excuse is that people grab everything super early in the morning. I know because I was told a few years back. So, if they have been aware that this is an ongoing problem, why havent they made it better yet? No matter how many store managers change every 2 years, its always the same. Low prices or not. Also they are always hiring because they dont really appreciate or recognize good hardworking folk, and always let the lazy ones get away with doing nothing or fooling around. They dont have your back when something goes really wrong, they have the customers back most of the time. Enough to make you feel like youre worthless. They also take clothing returns from other stores (no receipt) if a nasty customers mouth is loud enough.

I love shopping at my local Walmart. I always find great products with wonderful prices to shop from. It is always a good time shopping here, sometimes I wish it was open longer.

Its Wal-Mart, what can you expect?This one is particularly trash.No surprise their employees are miserable.Understaffed, a mess, nothing ever works. Nobody knows anything about the tech products they sell.

One of the better Walmarts in the area. The store is clean, the staff is friendly and they usually have a good selection of products to choose from. There were plenty of registers open on my last visit and the line moved quickly, no complaints.

Mechanic ED is so rude, never want to buy tyres, oil change from this place. Please dont go to workshop, the mechanic is ......... I havent good words for him

Great store everything is easy to find.

Had a return for an item purchased online and they made it easy. Purchased Item was brand new and wasn’t working. Had a return email label which said I can return in any Walmart store. So I called the Walmart in Nesconset first and 4 times I was transferred, disconnected and spoken to with an unfriendly, rude tone and they would not accept the return and I should contact Walmart online. Called this Walmart and completely different response. Customer was friendly and professional.

Spent an hour trying to get the new Xbox online, finally made it into my cart, they charged my card. And then canceled my order and reversed my transaction. Talk about terrible service. I’ve never been more upset with a company before. This isn’t right :’( gonna go kill myself

Typical Wally World, good place to get essentials, seasonal items. Need more OPEN registers as always , seems like that’s not happening.

When I think about my last visit, I remember that most of the staff are very, very helpful. One young girl who apparently knows the store quite well, had me follow her to what I asked for. I appreciate that so much more because sometimes I mess up a turn here or there and then its frustrating 😸 and embarrassing! Haha! The store always seems well-stocked and clean. I have no complaints!

Please answer your phones, I had a very quick question sat on hold for ten minutes just to get hung up on. Not very good customer service:(

Always friendly, always has what I need. Instead of middle island I always go to Centereach. It may be out of my way but they always have what I need and great service as well as amazing safety measures during this covid pandemic. Great prices too.

They are pretty much all the same. I will say tho my most recent visit there almost everything in the store was out of stock.. keep up with the pace walmart.

Feels dirty when you walk inside. Most of the candy is stale. Was followed around the store by a random man for 10 minutes. Didnt feel safe and isles are too narrow.

Went there looking for a phone their website said was available. Got my phone & a protective case for a great price. I was in & out in less than 15 minutes. Very prompt service.

The cashier April asked my wife and daughter for ID when I was the one purchasing a case of beer. Even though I provided my ID since I was making the purchase, April still ask for my wife and daughter’s ID. I don’t understand how the policy makes any sense. Walmart is suppose to be a family place but that was not the case today. I will not be shopping at this location anymore.

Most of the shelves were empty and the overall appearance was very dingy. The floors look like I dont know what. I havent been in this Walmart for a long time. I prefer the Walmart or Target in Setauket theres no comparison.

Well its Walmart, not much to comment. Speaks for itself. The only thing I will say its way better than the Walmart in Middle Island. Not as nice as the one in Setauket. Shop at your own risk!

I was in Walmart with my daughter and granddaughter. My granddaughter was having a bad day. But I managed to get everything I wanted.

This Walmart makes you feel like youre on a completely different planet. The workers are horrible they have bad teeth the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. And if you ask for help they run away so no I dont like this Walmarts disgusting and I would suggest to go to another one

Im not completely thrilled. I know there are production delays and such however the shelves are constantly empty. Fries, simple thing yet every time I go there is nothing and I mean nothing on the shelves. Its frustrating. And week to week its the same stuff not restocked. Ive also noticed different Walmarts carry better brands. Centereach has scoops and free something. Commack has US Polo and Reebok. I hate to have to go all over to different Walmarts to get what I want. This Walmart used to be my favorite and best Walmart and lately they have just gone downhill.

Store is usally instock of most items; but dont for get to bring your OWN BAGS!They rarely have paper bags and if you ask for one the cashier is nasty and expects you to know they dont have anymore.

Easy to get to. Prices are always good.But I have one question. What happened to the cats cans of food? Every time I go, the aisle is mostly empty, but the dog food aisle is always full. Ive tried all different Walmarts. Thats why I gave it a 4 stars.

One of the better Walmarts. Just watch out for the sneaky parking ticket man. I pulled up front where they told me to park to put my grandsons basketball hoop i bought for him. In my trunk. While im helping the worker. Sneaky man put a ticket on my windshield and literally runs away. He was on foot. People were pointing as to the direction he went. Long story short. Make them come to your car to put the merchandise you purchased in your vehicle if its to heavy. My ticket was dismissed. Because i was told to park there under the advice from walmart them self. So basically they broke the law. 🤷‍♀️

I love Wal-Marts always have what you need and at a great price. Parking is excellent, bathrooms are clean, easy checking out.

The Centereach Walmart is right down the block from me. My 5 year old and I like walking to Walmart when its nice outside. Its location is extremely convenient, friendly, great prices, clean and they follow all Covid Safety Protocols 👍

I just went to the garden center, I found what I needed at good prices.

1 cashier on a Saturday at 7:30PM who had a long line ..all other lanes were closed. As for self checkout? No thanks ... this is a good way to lose business. Next time I will go to ShopRite kthx.

Love it! I can get almost anything I need here for half the price. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful.

Awesome place to shop 🤪 until you check out and leaving 😜 you get stopped at the exit door for someone to ask you for a receipt to check. Like really with all the cameras in the store and taking random pictures and or videos at any given time you are shopping. Like Setauket Walmart is the worst every time you leave its considered harassment/ interrogation poor training

Why is Walmart using the pandemic to not accept cash. There is no evidence that there is a coin shortage so why is it that e retime I go into Walmart this week I’m told “no cash” and no registers opened. This is absolutely insane

Some of the employees were nice they did have a pillow that looked similar to one that they stated wasnt in stock in the current location which they did have one similar. They couldve given customers a suggestion for that current item.

Employees seem like they dont want to be there. They are rude and the management does not know how to convey a simple message. One door said entry/welcome and a sign below it says exit only. It only takes a cover on the sign that is not supposed to be used to make sure it is clear to the customers.I went in to buy a printer. When I asked and employee where can I find the computers and printers , he just said I dont know,

I use Walmart for a few items. Its kind of like a dollar store on steroids. They tend to have cheap prices but most stuff is Chinese. Its sort of a low rent kind of place.. You can save some money here. Worth checking out

The woman name Grace works in costume service, She is so rude and impatient, and gives every customer a bad attitude. She Deliberately put things down very loudly. She also yelled at the customer just because the customer returned a plastic storage box one hour after she purchased. Grace said: ‘‘oh, you can’t just do this like that.” Me and my family are so disappointed with that, if she is not happy with her work, she should leave. There were three customers before me and none of them satisfied with her. Absolutely disgraceful customer service.

Their pharmacy and vision departments are outstanding!

Husband went to get mulch and just asked if he could get help with putting it in the car. Was told we dont do that here. Asked if he could get it curbside and was told no again. Asked for a manager who was nasty and when he said he was thinking of getting a refund, the manager said I dont care and walked away. Never again.

The curbside pick up area phone # listed on their sign went to voicemail - I had to go in and retrieve. Y item instead of them bringing it to me!

Pregnant and unable to do heavy lifting. Ask for help from one of the visiting staff managers. I was assisted right away. Staff very helpful. I wish I remember each of your names. Gave me VIP treatment. Took water cases from shelves for me, brought up for me all way to my car, even load the cases of water into my vehicle. Just wanted a shaver. Asked two employees with radios for help. Never once heard an announcment for someone to come to the case. Waved at tge camera that kept chiming because i stood still there too long. Well another lost sale.thanks for nothing walmart.

Walmart is always an experience. This store is friendly, well stocked and well run. There is amle parking and good CoVid precautions. The store is easily navigated always has great value and is always filled with interesting folks

Best shopping experience

I went there to purchase two 50 gallon garbage pails. There was not an associate in sight to help and when I finally found someone I was told that wasnt their department.

Always good prices, sometimes rude staff, other times theyre cool, kinda hit or miss.

As usual, prices are good, the stores interiors have improved vastly. Problem at each and every one of the stores? Employees... For some reason they could care less if you need help. Target for some reason is the polar opposite. However, Target is more expensive to shop.

They have good signage in their aisles that everyone seemed to be followingSchool supply and cleaning supply sections were pretty barren during my visit on Monday, September 7th

Its a walmart, spect anything

Got the tires done quickly and the service guys were really friendly. Took online walmart awhile to figure out the order for the tires online but luckily they were available in store only took 20 minutes to put the 2 tires on
