Great service! Honest staff and very personable. I’ve been to several auto repair places but nothing compared to this place. The staff is knowledgeable and thorough. This place is top notch! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I got a flat tire when I was about to leave work one morning. I pulled up to their shop and they were able to replace both of tires in under 40 minutes and I was on my way to work. Both the value and customer service were great. They were really patient and answered all my questions. Will be going back for my future auto service.

I’m honestly in awe with City Tire and their amazing team! I don’t drive a brand new car, in fact I have never had a brand new car. I have always purchased someone else’s well taken care of older car. Always afraid to take it to a mechanic for fear of what I would be laying out in repairs. John is amazing... he is straight forward honest and an awesome mechanic! His prices are NEVER inflated and is always ready to go the extra mile to make sure his customers are safe and secure!! You Know your always going to have to Come out of pocket when going to a Mechanic or doctors. But I have to be very Clear about this place it is not at all like that, they make you feel like family, theyre upfront and give you options, instead of just handing over a bill...They totally made me feel so comfortable that when I have issues with my vehicles I drive all the way from the south shore 25 miles out of my way because of the respect and trust I have for them...I recommend all my friends and family and none of them have ever regretted listening to my advice to start using City Tire as there mechanics now....

Went in to get a tire looked at. They took me into the back to actually show me that it couldnt be repaired and why. They put on new tires very quickly. The whole experience was completely painless. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. They were very professional yet friendly. In and out very smoothly. Would highly recommend to others.

Place is great. Cracked my Maserati rim and they fixed it and threw a new tire on for an amazing price for get this.... in 2 HOURS!! Every other place said 24-48 hours at least. Can’t recommend them any more. Call and ask for John

I got my flat fixed on my car this week. They just threw my spare tire in my trunk. The right thing to do is put it back in place. They charge almost $50 to fix a flat it should come with quality service. The only reason I give them 2 stars is because they were open late and they were somewhat quick. Would not go there again. Overpriced and bad service

Went here for the first time since I live in Smithtown and was looking for a local shop close by. Let me first say that the secretary Angelina is probably the nicest person Ive ever come across. Happy, friendly, made me, the customer, feel welcome. John Sr. Is an incredibly nice professional individual. Changed my oil, gave me a new filter, and made some recommendations for my inspection coming up. Didnt try to sell anything unneccessary, politely went over everything and made me feel confident that my car is in good hands. Like the waiting room too. Some places wont let people wait inside because of the virus so Im glad I could wait inside since it was pouring rain out lol. Thank you to City Tire for giving me a good first impression and making me want to come back!

Great bunch of guys. Got me right in on a Sunday to do two front tires on my truck. No one else in the area wanted to do them but they took me in without an appointment and did the job right the first time. As a Mechanic myself for over 20 years, I was very happy with their services. Thanks Guys!

I have used other local tire shops a lot over the past year. With our atrocious roads riddled with potholes and debris here on Long Island I have gone through 6 blown tires in the past 12 months!City tire here in Centereach is the best by far. Their answer to everything is yes and their prices actually beat tire rack online by 5 - 10%!If they don’t have your tire in stock they will get it quicker, even same afternoon every time. I use no one else for tires from here on out. If I could give them ten stars I would!

I dropped off my tire to get patched up and City Tire got it done that day and installed it as well. Overall great experience, highly recommended, very happy customer.

I only gave them one star because I had to to leave a review I drop my truck off at 7:30 Saturday morning I was told it would take about 2 hours for my truck to be finished I called them at 12:15 p.m. they told me my truck still hadnt been done that I would have to wait because there were people in front of me 2 customers were in front of me in the am One of the customers oil change and an inspection the other 1 just got an inspection I would recommend NOT going here

My car front tire got nail. I went to the shop and waited for 2 hrs. They said it is fixed and charged 32$. After 2 to 3 hrs the same tire got flat. I went to a different shop and fixed issue, since the shop was closed. Two days later went to same shop to ask about the reason. I got very rude response from the shop. Looks like they don’t care about customer issues after the service. I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone. No professional.

Excellent experience, took care of me and my wheels. I brought in a brand new set of track wheels for my M3 they took the time to deal with all my requests. My wheels came back still in perfect condition no marks from any of their machines. I will be using TireCity for all my mounting requirements.

My mom went here for her inspection a little while ago and referred me to City Tire. It was my first time going there, I went for an inspection. Customer service was amazing, very professional and friendly. My car did need some work to pass and they did it for me quickly and didnt charge me an excessive amount for the work done. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them in the future.

They had my car from 8 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon to do an inspection and an oil change. They never even moved my car from where I parked it. I called the Thursday before and they told me to bring it in Saturday morning so its not like I just showed up unannounced. After seeing the reviews of what they charge for a synthetic oil change, Im glad they didnt do it. Never again.

I have been using City Tire for years but only for tires until recently. They are great with tires and recently I had trouble with my power steering pump. The first time they replaced it with no problem and for a good price. But after 6 months I had problems again and the refurbish pump needed to be replaced. They stood by their work and replaced the pump free of charge. I would never hesitate to use them again.Thank you

Would NEVER do business at this garbage of a place again. I go there with 2 tires stretched on wheels and ask if they can get the tires off without damaging the wheels and they said “without a doubt, no problem.” 45 minutes later for two wheels comes out and they loaded them in my truck. When I got home I noticed both wheels have damage, on the outer lips and inside the lip from the pry bar hitting it and both tires mangled with shredded sidewalls and all. Go back and the owner and his son raising their voices at me and told me “their machine and guys could have never done this. They’ve been doing it for years.” Then goes on to tell me they don’t guarantee stretched tire work. So basically they’re denying everything and also saying they don’t guarantee this work, sounds pretty hypocritical. Wouldn’t even give me a refund for the dismount when they should give me that, 2 new tires and a new lip. Would never recommend this place or ever go there again. I went to Savage Motorsports on 112 for my other two wheels, both came back to me with no lip damages and both tires look brand new. City tire is terrible business and has terrible management.

I brought my old 95 Ford F250 here for just an inspection. It passed, but, without asking, they provided me with exceptionally more information on what was in good shape, what to keep an eye on, etc. Estimates are fair. Ill be bringing it back when it needs work. Thanks!

I have been to about 10 different mechanics on the island and City Tire so far has been the worst...first they tell me they dont know whats wrong with it but dont tell me until they close and tell me I cant come get it so I had to last minute arrange rides for work the next day...then charge me 100$ for doing nothing! Mechanics always waive labor fees for me when they cant resolve the problem, but not City Tire! Please dont go to these crooks!

All I can say worst place ever lesson learned I just recently start taking my other two cars there and this will be the third car took there after today but never again these people are so dishonest how can you drop off your car by the way from 8 in the morning dont get it back to 4:55 and they tried to change up the price I want they told me what I was going to be charged so dishonest worst

Terrible experience wtih tire installation. Let me drive away with loose lock nuts without telling me that they stripped the adapter and were not able to tighten it. After calling them they were just nasty and not helpful at all.

Theres a lot of reviews on here about their pricing being good. I dont know where the hell these people bring their cars. I was charged $99.99 for an oil change , granted it was synthetic, which is more expensive , but thats $30 above average . Guy told me they put 6 quarts of oil in, which I find hard to believe for a 5 cylinder Volkswagen Jetta. What Ive Googled says more like 4.5 quarts. I brought my car in originally for over due inspection , I told the guy I had a rear blinker out which they replaced for $45!! Lol! He did say that same tail light was out so thats two bulbs , I was charged $10 for bulbs and $35 for labor. I have a regular mechanic but this place is open on Sundays and a couple of weeks before they replaced a tire for me on a Sunday, thats why I gave them another shot. I gave the extra star for being open on Sundays. Total out the door was $195.52 for oil change, inspection and blinker bulb and possibly tail light bulb. My car gives me notifications on precisely which bulbs are out, which I never saw a notification for that one so somewhat skeptical.

I find their opinions reliable and trust their judgement. I have been here a few times and never felt that they recommend anything unnecessary. Which is probably why a lot of customers have been coming here for decades.

I should have read some of these reviews first. I waited an hour and forty minutes to have a nail removed from a tire. No one else waiting for most of my time there. Apparently slow service is the name of the game.There is a place in ronkonkoma that does flat repair, in and out in 10 minutes for about $10. This place was one hour forty and $30. Total rip-off. Prices are ridiculous for everything.

We have been going to City Tire for 20 years and we trust them 100%. John, Steve and Mike are great. We have never had a single problem in 20 years.

John senior is a miserable unprofessional pos. His son told me that he would help me with a tire issue at no charge and it would take 15 min to handle. When I got there the old man was rude and told me that I would have to leave my car overnight. My opinion, stay away from this place.

As noted under a Yelp review, you would think they would have the courtesy of at least patching a tire if you are there for other services. Highly recommend this place. I know nothing about cars and I had a issue with my tire and brought it to 3 different shops that just sent me away with more questions then answers. John took the time to figure out what was going on and cared. I feel so much safer knowing there is a place I can go to where someone cares about my safety and not about my wallet!
