We are absolutely thrilled with the result of our kitchen remodel!! We tasked Herbert with updating our kitchen while also blending the design with our connected family room. Our entire home is filled with natural wood so we asked Herbert to make our kitchen, with its original oak cabinetry, look more modern and fresh. We thought it would be more difficult to make decisions on the product choices, but we loved everything that Herbert selected. He chose high quality items with extended warranties and explained why each product was chosen. The contractor was impressively organized and they finished the entire job in two weeks time! Our new tile floor is a beauty and we have to mention the tiler who was a perfectionist at his craft! It was exciting to see the countertops and backsplash start bringing the room together. When we painted the kitchen the same color as the connected family room, it just clicked together like a puzzle. Our kitchen looks like it should have been that way all along and our son commented hes glad we kept our original oak cabinets as they fit perfectly with the rest of our house now. An unexpected highlight is the unique sink shape that complements our versatile faucet. As part of the design and project, we also integrated a buffet counter, a track system to light the buffet counter, extended the tile floor into the dining room, and replaced the carpet in the family room and front room. Our window shutters were just installed this morning and are an amazing finishing touch! With independent adjusting upper and lower sections, the wide blades for sunlight, and the molding around the window frame, it completes the light and bright design that Herbert had promised. All our finishes are neutral colors that are elegant, durable, and will never be out of style. We are thankful we put our trust in Herbert and appreciate our beautiful updated kitchen every meal of the day!

This summer, we decided to finally get hardwood floors in our 1980 home. Herbert and his team were so great to work with! We werent quite sure what we wanted, and they were so helpful and patient throughout the whole process. Besides the floor, Herbert gave us great advice on colors, and other work we wanted to do. His installers were beyond phenomenal. The job they did was just beautiful. Everyone who has seen our floors just loves them. We did the stairs and a new railing also. And we had all new floor trim and crown molding installed, and it looks so nice. Christine in his office was always so helpful, and we were definitely high maintenance! We also had them do the tear out, and we are so glad that we did. Remodel jobs can be hard to go through, but with their help, it took so much of the stress off. Again, I cant stress how wonderful all of Herberts installers were, and what a great job that he did coordinating the work and making sure everything was perfect. A lot of companies can sell you a product, but I know of so many people who had incompetent installers in their homes that did a substandard job. These guys did beautiful work and were always respectful of our home. And they are hard working and fast! They came when they promised and finished early. I highly recommend Herberts Workroom. They have a lot of other cool things besides the hardwood, which we hope to take advantage of in the future (tile work for bathrooms and kitchens, cool carpeting for our family room, etc)!

Had plantation shutters installed six years ago. Herbert did such an excellent job working with us to come up with a beautiful, affordable solution. After six years of battling the Colorado afternoon sun coming through three small windows above our large living room windows we once again reached out to Herbert. He came up with the perfect solution for us. Motorized shades which we can control wirelessly and am in the process of integrating with Amazon Alexa. They are great looking, barely noticeable when not in use, quiet and sun filtered when down and are a perfect fit in our home. We did go through the process of getting competitive bids but found Herbert to be the best choice by far. You can not go wrong by choosing them.

No need to go anywhere else for all of your window coverings!!! From start to finish, you will feel as if you are working with family. My husband and I were treated with respect, professionalism, and kindness and, after gathering other quotes, Herbert gave me the BEST price possible for my luxurious new motorized blinds. All materials arrived in a timely manner, although with Covid-19, we needed to wait for installation. When it was safe to have our blinds installed, the team came with face coverings and stayed at appropriate social distance spaces. The lovely gentlemen were quite patient as I asked many questions about his to use the Powerview System. The team was wonderful when I asked and needed additional assistance after installation. All businesses should take a lesson from this wonderful company. I only wish I could give them more than five stars!

The Shutters are gorgeous and Sheryl was wonderful to work with! Best experience ever!!! Sheryl understood exactly what I was looking for and made some fantastic observations and suggestions. Coming from out of state, I wanted the process to be quick and painless. Sheryl measured the windows before I even arrived in Colorado so she could help save time. When I arrived, she brought samples and we were able to make final decisions. She was able to get the final measurements completed by the installer the next day. Tom, the installer is absolutely fantastic!!! He also made some suggestions that were invaluable. From initial measurement to final install, it was less than 4 weeks. Absolutely amazing as other companies have a significantly longer turn around time. This experience has been the absolute easiest part of my entire moving experience and am so grateful to Sheryl and her team!

I can’t recommend Herberts Workroom 101 enough!I worked with Herbert to find window coverings for my new home. We first set up a virtual appointment via FaceTime so he could see the style and finishes in my home. I gave him some rough measurements so I could get an idea of the cost. I then went in for an appointment to look at samples; Herbert wore a mask and gloves. Herbert knew I had a budget and was mindful of it. I never felt like he was pressuring me or trying to up sell which was a huge relief to me. He made sure I had all the information I needed to make an informed decision. He gave me every promotional discount he could and he gave me estimates on several types of coverings so I could stay within my budget. I finally decided on the Hunter Douglas NewStyle shutters with the TruView Rear Tilt mechanism for three of my windows and a Skyline gliding panel with a remote for my sliding glass door.Steve came out a few days later to take official measurements. I was told it would take 6-8 weeks for the coverings to come in, and I was shocked (and happy!) that all he coverings came in in about 4 weeks. Steve called and set up an install time. Him and his crew came in and installed the coverings quickly. The crew was polite and respectful of my home. They cleaned up after themselves.Needless to say, I am in love with my new window coverings and am so thankful for Herbert’s years of experience. I was able to get what I wanted and then some because of Herbert. Because he was so kind, polite, and positive, I never bothered to even get another estimate. Sheryl from Herberts Workroom helped us pick and have Hunter Douglas shutters installed in our newly constructed home, we cannot be happier with the guidance, product quality, price, timely install, impeccable service and attention to detail! We have received several compliments on how immaculate the shutters look, including feedback from the builders decorators who offered a lesser product for higher price. Doesnt hurt that they also have a fabulous showroom and offer various services for interior decoration needs.

I am very pleased with the way they worked with us to ensure we had the best Hunter Douglas installation to fit our design and needs. We then had a floor installation done through the kitchen, family room and hallway. The design really opened up our rooms nicely. And, with the tile work around the fireplace and the backsplash in the kitchen, the area really came together for a warm welcoming feeling.

Ok, first let me announce that this was the best experience Ive ever had working with a private contractor. Sheryl, our sales guide at Herberts Workroom 101 was just a delight to work with. I knew I wanted plantation shutters after our white GSD rescue with issues Lily (Silly Lily is what we affectionately call her) clawed our window blinds into tatters one night. I was clueless about the product or the process so I first called HomeDepot who wanted the entire cost of the shutters plus installation up front before anything was done! Really? Who does that?!! Then I found Herberts Workroom 101 online and called immediately because their reviews are amazing. Sheryl held my hand and gave me a step by step introduction to the entire process.
