As always it was a very pleasant experience. I didnt find what I went for, but found other stuff . Employees were very nice and helpful.

Seems like a nice upper scaleish department store sometimes they have someone playing the piano and the employees always seem friendly especially compared to for example the lost soul type vacant stare you might get at a Walmart since I swear half the people that work there dont want to be there. (WM) You know what I mean you can usually tell when an employee mostly enjoys their job. I also really like some of the unique things they have for sale like these cute little Crystal statues and my all-time favorite style of wrist watches Casio g-shocks which are in some ways kind of hard to find these days I dont think they carry them at typical department stores to be honest. I also kind of like the layout of the store.

Wonderful store and the associates are always very knowledgeable and helpful. The selection that they have is very broad and you can find anything for any age. The nice thing about Von Maur is that you can find the high end and low end of your budget with good options and high quality items at each end. The store has a lot of items in a small space, but the layout makes it all work. The piano playing while you shop during parts of the year is a wonderful added bonus!

Welcome to Cedar Rapids Iowa where the selection for nice ladies clothing is limited. I went with my girlfriend looking for some nice clothes And the only decent store in Cedar Rapids was Von Maur. Over the years we have lost all of the nice stores downtown Including Armstrongs and killians And for the ladies stores like seiferts. Im sure there are others that Ive forgotten. In the last few years we lost Younkers. Its a real shame.

Prices reflect stores like dillards. Great products. Found my daughters prom dress 90% off. $350 dollar dress for $32!

Great place to shop! My daughter and I went to the jewelry dept and the associate helped us all through the store even though it wasnt her area she was a manager I believe and did an awesome job wish I remembered her name i will definitely be going back to her again. I would definitely recommend going to von maur to anyone visiting the cedar rapids mall!

What I really love about von maur? Von Maur is a beautiful store. However, the best thing about von maur are those clearance and sales racks. You can just seriously clear out that store and get things that you just wouldnt believe, or literally and I kid you not, $6. I bought two shirts that were originally supposed to be sold for $48 each for $6 each. Had I not been trying to stop myself, which I was I would have looked through all the jeans, the dresses, the active wear, the shoe racks, and anything else that was on clearance or sale. Really you have to hit the clearance because that is the stuff they keep marking down and marking down and marking down and marking down and marking down and marking down because they are going to sell anything they buy until they get it sold. Von Maur Im not trying to tell your secrets. if I had a million dollars I would come to your store and I would buy everything full price. When I am looking for something gorgeous and I need it, I will come to your store and I will pay full price. Its well worth it. However, for the bargain shopper me, hitting your clearance racks, those are genius. And I will come there regularly because that is where really Im going to come buy stuff all the time . By the way, I have less enough weight, yay me, to fit in a Juniors medium and that is not something I probably could have done when I was 7 years old! This is a whole new world of possibilities. It also means Von Maur, you could be making a whole lot more money for me! Anyhow, your store is gorgeous for people that can afford to spend money there and buy things full price, I applaud you! I am a nurse I make good money, but still Im a bargain shopper at heart. When I need something gorgeous or beautiful, I will come there and I will buy it at the price that you sell it for because you make it well worth it. However, when I just want some things to make me feel good and to add a little bit of a smile to my face and a few cute shirts or a few cute pair of pants or maybe even a good pair of shoes to my shoe finish your clearance racks are the best!

Went to Cedar Rapids V M today. There was a dad in there with his teenage daughter trying to put together an outfit. When she was in the dressing room the blonde skinny older with glasses was completely going off to another sales lady about how awful helping them was. I felt bad for dad and daughter who were very polite. I always shop at V M . My husband and I had our 15 year.old granddaughter in there I was about to tell her to help themWe put 0ur stuff back and left to drive 45 I minutes to a different mall. She needs fired.

I have been a long time customer of Von Maur and recently visited since they re-opened after COVID-19 The lady who helpEd me in the men’s department said I could bring back a sweater because I didn’t have time to try it on but didn’t explain that it wouldn’t be until after June 1. So it’s already difficult enough to get there during their shortened hours and when I tried to return it one day later they wouldn’t take it back saying I have to wait three more days until June 1. What a pain in the butt and I’m very disappointed in the customer service I received!!!!

First time I went it was very nice. The woman who helped me was very friendly. This second time I went some of the employees , I felt didnt seem to want to waste their time helping me. I was trying to ask a question and 2 of the women , who were not helping anyone else just looked at me then turned back to each other and kept talking. I may not have a lot of money but what I do have spends just the same as anyone elses money. When I save up again , I will go back. Who knows mabey 2 out of 3 . 2 to a good experience aint bad. Plus. Saw a really cute blouse. Hopefully still there or mabey find a cuter one. Fingers crossed.!!
