Probably the best place to go for Iowan/ Midwestern souvenirs, Gags and gifts. There’s also good books there. A cool and fun place to shop. I think it comes at a premium price because it’s original and quality.

Raygun is a great shop I love visiting when in Cedar Rapids. Great gifts for friends, family, loved one and yourself. As well as clothing for children and adults. Last visit was okay. The inventory was great. The staff was somewhat no where to be found. The cashier was nice, friendly and rang me up no problem. However, there was no one walking around even from a distance asking if they can help you find anything. First time this experience has happened.

Shiara, the manager, is welcoming, kind and compassionate. In the face of COVID, she puts customers safety as her top priority. And yes, that means sometimes you have to smell a candle through your mask. You can guarantee safety and positive experience in this fun and funky store. Highly recommend. :)

I brought 3 people in with me from different cities/states yesterday around 4 pm. We will never return. I pulled my mask down for a second to smell a $20 candle before I was gonna purchase it and the cashier SCREAMED at me to put it back on. I said just a sec, Im smelling a candle.. She replied NOW! We immediately put our stuff down and left. Not welcoming whatsoever!!

I went in to Raygun this past weekend. I was greeted by a polite, socially-distanced staff. The worker that attended to me was kind and very helpful. It’s great to have a place like this in CR.

This place has it all! All sorts of things that will make you laugh, chuckle, and surprised. The memorabilia is very unique and not found anywhere. The latest masks, shirts and anything else you could put words on. The two-story building stands out not only for its window display. They have some stuff thats very easy on the pocket. They tastefully put some really funny things on just about anything.

Every time I open one of your emails, my faith in humanity is instantly restored. I really don’t think you ask for more. Thank you! If you have not checked this store out or have not signed up for their newsletter, I recommend correcting your mistake ASAP. They truly are the best!

Super fun! Lots of unique locally themed and political items: T shirts, stickers, coasters, coffee cups, etc. Great location in the newly revitalized Czech Village. Check out Newbo Market across the street and the other cool shops in the area while there.

Amazing selection of shirts and swag for the native Iowan and the occasional discerning visitor. I was laughing for a good 20 minutes as I went through everything. Some things can be a little on the high side for retail but its all for the benefit of the area. If youre looking for a funny, Iowa-themed shirt, this is your place. I looked around at some of the other options and there aint a better swag shop in the state.

Not sure how anyone with a half decent sense of humor could give Raygun anything but a 5 star rating. Hilarious t-shirts, stickers, and more making fun of Iowa and the Midwest! It’s all in love though, and we like to check in every couple weeks because they are always coming out with new designs and selections. We always take visitors here, and everyone loves it whether they are from the Midwest or not!

If you are from Chicago and know the store Four-sided you will feel at home in Raygun. Also if you are from Cedar Rapids and want to check out a store that is like Raygun but has Chicago themed products check out Four-sided. Raygun had some great pieces that made me L O L. I bought a few keepsakes while visiting for work one weekend. However although Iowa is a great state there isnt much around and a lot of the jokes are repeated on different materials. However there was something refreshing seeing how they viewed my home city of Chicago. Also get this...NO BAG TAX! If you are visiting Cedar Rapids you need to check out Raygun as you are sure to leave with a souvenir or a great small gift for someone.

Great local clothing store. Raygun has a trendy, modern and simplistic feel to the store. Theres a kids corner for the younger kids to draw and play, this is especially useful when shopping all day with a toddler.

Amazing store! Should give them a lower rating as theyve been taking a lot of my money since Trump was elected but my son seems to like the play area.

The store was out of matte for the poster frames. Cassie B. was willing to give up her personal frame in her car to make the sale, but sacrificed a display to help. Kurtis F. apologized for the store being out and helped seal the sale. I was 100% walking away from the store if they couldnt provide the products I needed (and we live out of state). Amazing customer service with these two employees!

Awesome store and awesome team! I went in a bought a sippy cup for a friend who lives in MI. Long story short my dog was being a sneaky chewer and demolished the lid of the cup. I went back in and asked if there was way they had an extra lid that I could have or if I would just have to buy a whole new cup (which I was fine with doing, it was my fault the lid was destroyed not theirs). Not only were they super understanding right from the start, I was able to take home a totally new cup in exchange for the old one, no charge, no hassle. They also have great products there. Always puts a smile on my face when I go there. 10/10 would recommend.

I had a great experience, I live in Florida now, but grew up in Cedar Rapids as a kid, remember the crunch berries smell driving on 1st ave...I purchased a crunchberries shirt and he was so kind, shipping included!!!The shirt will give me a piece of home, bonus shipping included!!!😄😄😄

This is one of the best shops in Newbo. Tons of quirky, fun and hilarious shirts, hats... Stuff. A great place to find gifts for people and always has several great white elephant gifs as well. A lot of the humor relates to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and the Midwest in general. The koozie below is a good sample of some of the generic humor as well.

I dont want politics mixed with my shopping for fun stuff. I love the New Bo area but will never spend my money there. Lets mend America and Cefar Rapids. Not force aprox 50% of your customers out the door with a bad feeling. Just sell fun Cedar Rapids stuff. Leave your political views for the caucuses and the voting booth please.
