I was met with very upbeat and enthusiastic tech that covers the serving work to be done. A very nice waiting lounge while service was being done. Doesnt matter what the weather is doing outside its pleasantly nice inside for you. Work done was explained and shown to you if possible. Overall, a nice experience.

We have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe that was having a Lot of problems.The Tech made us a video to show us all the issues, that was great. It took almost 2 weeks to get everything fixed. Our service advisor was Colon Peters. He went above and beyond for us. We have some parts that were still under warranty and he took care of it. He called us every day with an update as well. Very impressed with Colon and this Chevyland service. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thank you all for getting back on the road for us.

Called on a Monday to get a quote to replace all four tires on my Silverado 2500 that I purchased NEW from McGrath in 2016. Operator was very friendly and forwarded my call to a service department extension. No answer, so I left a message stating what I was looking for and asked them to contact me. 48 hours later, no response, so I used their Contact Us website stating what I was looking for. I was contacted later that day by a nice gentlemen, who I believe was in the sales department, and he said he would forward my request to the appropriate department. 72 hours later.........no contact.My purchase experience in 2016 was overall positive so in 2020 we went back to McGrath looking for a new vehicle for my wife. To say the process was a debacle would be an understatement. So we went to another dealer and left 2 hours later with a new Toyota.I had one repair experience with their service department several years ago and that went just fine, HOWEVER, these last 2 negative experiences has convinced me to take my business elsewhere. Oh yes, found a great deal on 4 new tires in Cedar Rapids. They are going to get a positive Goggle review from me.

I went in to have a sensor fixed. I was impressed with the text updates. A human will actually respond to the texts as well! Originally, the part was going to take a few days to arrive at their shop (which I understand) but the employee updating me worked diligently calling other shops to see if they maybe had the part in stock! And they did!! My car was done in just a few hours. When the employee said my car would be ready by 5pm it really was!

My son and I got a descent deal. Price kept changing after we had agreed to buy the car. Six hundred dollars is six hundred dollars. And financing and management wouldnt take no for an answer....we could have closed the deal one and a half hours sooner. We almost walked, the third time he left to negotiate another offer we didnt want. I only went to McGrath because my kids have had okay experiences. I have not. However this sale was just a little better (than my other visits)

I very true that one person can ruin a business relationship although for me it has been multiple things.The inside has changed but so has the Staff . The prices are a little high for service the quality and standard of services has changed.If you want them to Pick your car this is the place buyer Warn ! The will take you inside Fitst so forget about LOOKING. They will run your credit( hard Hit) first the pick the car they want to put you in even though you will be paying for it. But YOU CAN TRADE IN in 6 months. Give a little more money and get less for what you paid for it. You might want to get the car inspected privately before finishing deal . My son was sold a car that had a whole in truck it turned out it was in a accident. We are still getting legal Representation. Because exhaust was coming inside of car an made my son sick. I will post photos and bill of sale as well.

I had the opportunity this past week to purchase a 2016 Chevy Silverado from Mitch Strouf, with Pat McGrath Chevyland. I am located about 120 miles away from the dealership, so we began the work over the phone. The entire process was streamlined and easy, largely due to Mitch, his sales manager, and the finance team. Mitch went above and beyond of what most dealerships I have worked with do. He captured a 360 video of the truck to allow me to see it as if I was walking around it myself. This level of service was the deciding factor for me traveling 120 miles to purchase this pickup. Once I got there I was immediately assisted in parking, finding Mitch, and escorted through the entire process, which only lasted just over an hour. The truck was filled up, fully detailed, and looked and smelled like new, even though it is 5 years old. I left the lot as a satisfied customer. Today, I was contacted by Mitch to thank me for being a customer and check in on how things are going with the truck. It is exceptional service at this level that ensures I look to McGrath Chevyland for future business. Give them a try, I did and was NOT disappointed!

I really wanted an AWD vehicle before winter but was really nervous about the whole process on my own post divorce. I had the most amazing support team that helped me determine if the vehicle I wanted was the best buy all around. Dan Cole, with Chevy Used Sales, went out of his way to make sure I felt good about the purchase, Zach Peters, a service advisor and ex technician, looked over the vehicle and made sure it did not have any issues I couldnt see and finally Shawn Bickford, the Finance Manager made me feel confident that my new vehicle was protected from the future unknowns and that I made a good choice and got a great deal financially. I was so anxious about the whole process but these were all people I liked very much and trusted. I am completely thrilled with my purchase and because of all these wonderful people I have no second thoughts. I know it was the right vehicle at an exceptional price.

There was an issue with my vehicle, it looks as though something splashed onto the passenger side door and damaged the paint. I brought it back after I contacted them on Monday. (picked it up Friday, first time I was on the passenger side was Sunday, contacted them on Monday, brought back on Tuesday) I am getting the dance around, but I know for a fact that was not there when I dropped my car off on Thursday for service. I got and oil change and fluid flush (including brake) as well as some suspension work, they had my vehicle for 2 days. There were no paint issues prior to this service. After working it out the paint was repaired and my car was restored to the way it was before the appointment. So glad that they stepped up and took care it.

Came in for an oil change and tire rotation. Took over 1 1/2 hours to complete. Tire rotation was not done. Customer service was fine but, not sure how the rotation was missed. Now I have to find time to come back. Irritating.

I was looking for a Chevy Traverse and found the perfect one about 120 miles from where I live. Scott Kadera was my sales person and he is incredibly kind and professional, and made the process of my trade in and purchase go very smoothly. I do not regret the travel time to purchase this vehicle and I would highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for a new vehicle. If this review was based solely on Scott and my experience with the sales team I would give them 5 stars.The reason I do not give this dealership 5 stars is due to my experience with the business office. The person I worked with pushed the extended warranty very hard and I told him multiple times that I did not want it, every time I told him I wasn’t interested he would continue to push it, and would leave the office to go speak with his manager.After rounds of this, he came back with a package that increased my monthly payment by 6 dollars, (I was sick of sitting there and dealing with him so I said fine) however upon final examination of the paper work I realized that he took it upon himself to increase the length of my financing my without my permission. I find this incredibly dishonest, and very unprofessional, and I have since contacted them to cancel this warranty.As mentioned above I would not hesitate to purchase a vehicle from Scott, I would just be careful of who you work with when financing.I have since been contacted by the finance manager Dario, he expressed his concern for my experience and will be completing some further training with the employee I worked with. I appreciated his concern and am very pleased that they care enough about their customers to acknowledge a bad experience even after a purchased had been made.

I have to give a shout-out to McGrath Chevyland & specifically Cody Moenk for being outstanding in what they do,In January I traded my Malibu at a Chevy dealership in Minnesota(NOT THIS DEALERSHIP), for a Chevy Traverse— That’s a whole other story, but to make it nice and short, in the first three months I had it we had spent $4,500+ in repairs, starting the first WEEK I bought it. It was very unreliable and I had finally had it when I had to bring it to the shop and it needed ANOTHER $5,000-6,000 worth of repairs.The dealership in Minnesota did not care at all and wouldn’t even hear it, even hung up on me when I tried to tell them of all the problems I was having. They told me it was sold as is and I signed saying that. They were very nasty and it was obvious they didn’t care. I felt hopeless and knew I was going to be upside down in the loan for my traverse. I was beyond stressed and worried about what I was going to even do and what I could afford.I came to McGrath Chevyland and told them about my situation and let me tell you—talking to these people and hearing how sympathetic they were about what happened was a breath of fresh air. They worked SO hard to give me exactly what I wanted and for a price I could afford comfortably and that would be reliable. They were so kind, seriously every single person I talked to while there were so kind and helpful. They took all of the weight & stress off my shoulders almost immediately. Cody went above and beyond and I couldn’t be more thankful. Thank you McGrath, and thank you so much Cody for all of your time and help!I would buy from them again and again. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!I left with a new (to me) Chevy Equinox—freshly cleaned and with a full tank of gas!

It is now Wednesday once again, no communication on their end. Zach was my advisor, only time Ive spoken with him was when I left my car 10 days ago.. I had a very delightful experience getting the oil changed, tires rotated, while waiting in the customer waiting area. Zach Peters was my Service Adviser, he informed me that my 2017 Equinox is ready for the 15,000 mile Service and Maintenance. He kindly printed me a summary of what pertained to the Service & Maintenance items to be performed which also included the price involved. My wife, Janet and I always discuss items of this nature and the costs involved. This summary was very helpful for me to explain the service work and cost to Janet when I returned home from the oil change and tire rotation work performed.One thing that is a concern to me right now at 2:25 pm Thursday July 22, 2021 (and maybe Im being impatient) is that I texted Zach at 7:15am requesting him to call me and help set up an appointment for the 15,000 mile Maintenance Work. I called his phone at 8:00 am and left a voice mail concerning this same issue. In my mind, I would think Zach should have called me by this time. I realize he is a busy man, but I also think it is common courtesy to the customer to respond to these type phone calls within a reasonable amount of time during ones buisness day.

The add-on services (drain pan flush, coolant something-or-other, etc) were misleading. There were three categories: Recommended, Value, and Minimum. To me, a minimum service means that it is required to maintain my warranty. I almost got talked into paying $30 for a service that GM says is not needed. Please make these add-on services less mis-leading!

I was a little disappointed with the communication regarding my appointment.I dropped my vehicle off the previous day and spoke with someone first thing the next morning to confirm what I wanted to have serviced.The entire day lapsed and I was never told that my vehicle would have to be kept overnight. It wasnt until I texted Zach the next day that I was given an update that my car would not be ready until later that afternoon. I told Zach that if that was the case I would appreciate a loaner vehicle. My wife dropped me off at the McGrath service location so I could pick up a loaner and it seemed like the team was rushing to finish my vehicle. I was told it was almost ready, but ended up waiting nearly an hour for everything to be wrapped up. Once I got into the vehicle there was a really bad burning smell that wasnt there before. I texted Zach about this and got no response. Im going to give it some time in case it was an oil spill. However, even if that is the case why wouldnt the service technician have just cleaned up properly so my family and I wouldnt have to deal with the smell of burning oil whenever we turn on the AC?All in all I was not happy with the lack of communication and I feel like I paid a premium price for mediocre service.

We live in north Iowa, went to Cedar Rapids to pick up our son who flew in. Our Enclave had mechanical issues. Took it to McGrath and the got it in checked it out and told us the problem. They rented us a vehicle to come home. Son drove back down to get our car the next day. Beth and Steve were great and made us comfortable with repairs. McGrath is definitely the place to get a car! I was recently there over weekend. I had called and set up an appt and told the sales rep over the phone which car i was intrested in. When I arrived Elijah greeted us with amazing kindness. He guided us every step of the way. He was very informative and super helpful. He knew exactly what he was doing when it came down to selling a car. Moe the manager and Elijah worked with me when it came down to negotiation. They really make you feel welcomed and are willing to work with you no matter your situation. When it came time for the financial department Shawn was amazing. I had a 730 am appt. I dropped off my truck about 5pm the night prior and that went great! I was told they would contact me when my truck was ready. When 1030 am rolled around I was surprised I had not heard anything. So I called. After being transferred 3 times I was told my truck was ready. 20 minutes later I was there to pick it up and I was told it was being worked on and would be 10 more minutes. In this pandemic time the last thing I want to do is be in a waiting room where nobody in enforcing the mask rule, and some were not wearing them. 15 minutes later my truck was ready. I was led to my truck and told it was done and that was it. Nothing else. Was not washed like normal. I feel like my truck did not even get pulled in until I called and then rushed through like it was forgot. My wife and I are debating on taking it elsewhere since I have used the last of the oil changes I have paid for. Im a huge chevyland guy, but have a very sour taste in my mouth after this visit. Also Im the type to very seldom complain, and would not have had you not sent me this survey. Sorry to rant.

It my first appointment in sat there for an hour waiting for the shuttle then I decided just to call a ride myself. I was home for about 10mins when it received a call saying that they didnt have the part in stock, I had that appointment for 2 weeks so plenty of time to let me know about the part. The only reason I went back was because Sean my service tech was super nice about everything he made my experience more tolerable! At my second appointment in made sure to ask about the part first. It was in stock thankfully. I sat there from 9am until 12pm, sean made sure to keep me updated about my car. They found out my manifold was cracked also and gave me a quote of over $1000! Lol no thank you in appreciate the heads up but the part is around $100 for my specific car and $110 an HR for labor I totally get but it should of cost around $600 not a grand! I most likely wont be back there because of this experience but Sean did a wonderful job helping me out so I wanted to acknowledge him and his help!!!

Everyone was nice and helpful! I had come in for an oil change and to check where I was leaking oil, They found the problem right away and fixed it the same time as the oil change. The only thing I was disappointed with was, they asked if I would like a car wash which was a great surprise, but when they brought it to me the windows ended up being really greasy and I had to get it rewashed. Otherwise they would get 5 out of 5, if I could give 4.5 stars, I would.

Sadly I will never get my car serviced here. My name is Jessica and I called in to price a new engine for my 2015 Chevy Equinox between 9:30 am and 9:45 am on 2/19/2021. Im not sure who I was talking to I forgot his name. When I asked him for both prices for 2.4l and 3.6l. He rudely follow with you cant change the engine in this vehicle the motor mounts are different I reassured him and let him know that I knew that and we are willing to pay for those to be changed. When we concluded the conversation and I was saying thank you for the info he rudely hung up the phone without even letting me finish speaking. Super rude the whole time after mentioning the two different engines. Had a tone in his voice the whole time talking to me. I dont appreciate that.

Paid the money to have a “diagnostic” for noise coming from the back of my Impala. Technician said the spare tire needed to be tightened, did another test drive, then diagnosed the problem as rear struts. Took the vehicle to GOOD YEAR and they evaluated the vehicle for FREE and said there was nothing wrong with the struts and to monitor the noise to see if it gets worse. My question for McGrath is, what was done for the diagnosis I paid for if the technician guessed and didn’t physically look at the struts to see if that was the true root cause to the noise problem?

My vehicle had an issue with the crankshaft, leaking oil etc. I took it into the service department. Met with Sean who works in that department. Sean was very helpful. He listened to my concerns and stayed in touch with me during the time my vehicle was being worked on. He provided me with a replacement vehicle. I still have concerns about my vehicle because of the low mileage the major work that had to be performed. At present it is operating good.

I recently purchased a New 3LT Camero from McGrath. JB Baker was knowledgeable and a good salesman. I however encountered a problem when they charged my GM Card for $1500 instead of taking that amount off the earned rewards dollars. Since the Manager has refused to delete the charge to my card which I had to dispute yet he put in an order for the rewards! I have to pay for their mistake billing me instead of taking the money off the purchase price. The manager should be ashamed at the way he is treating what would have been very soon a repeat customer when my wife replaces her car. He acts nice but theres no follow thru on doing the right thing. Very disappointed in McGrath Chevyland experience.

Josh was amazing. When my fiancé and I came to the dealership it was for another reason but also start looking at my options for another vehicle. Joshs customer service was tremendously outstanding. Josh listened to what we were wanting and wasnt pushing for us to buy something that we were not wanting like other dealerships. This is the 3rd time that I have came to Pat McGrath looking for a vehicle and actually was taken care of. I was not satisfied with the length of the sale, and missed sales steps during the purchase and after.We never received a intro to the service department or parts department.We never received a follow up call the next day.I did the second day but missed the call. When I called the sales rep back after the 3rd day of the sale, he said he was busy and would return my call, and I still havent heard from him.The restrooms are gross and filthy at least the mens are.Was asked to give a good rating after the sale and not asked how satisfied we were with their service.And no pic was taken after the sale for social media.

The service advisor, Sean, was absolutely excellent from the beginning of my appointment until the end of my appointment. He explained things very clearly about what the service personnel would be doing, etc. In this time of the pandemic, the entire dealership felt safe. I spent time in the waiting area, which was all set up for social distancing, and all in the waiting area were wearing masks. I was pleasantly impressed with my overall experience at Pat McGrath Chevrolet. Thank you!
