Beyond rude & very unprofessional!I rented a truck and paid for everything online July 27 for pickup the same evening. Unfortunately upon arrival I was locked out of my phone and could not pull up the order details to grab the truck and go so I tried to go inside the store for help. Although the Open sign was on and two employees were standing inside LOOKING AT ME, I could not get in because the door was locked. I approached the door a second time and this time the man came to me trying to speak to me through the doors. Before I could finish my sentence I was told theres nothing I can do for, were counting money. I then informed the man that everything was paid for already, I just needed assistance finding my truck so I could go. Frustrated that I wasnt accepting his answer he walks away from me back to the woman at the counter, turns right back around (no pause, no stop, anything) and comes back to me saying, We dont have your order, I looked it up. He did not. she did not. I was watching the entire time. I never gave them ANY information to even look up as they would not let me get a word in without trying to cut me off. Being concerned, my spouse starts getting out of the car to check on everything. As soon as he stands behind me, the employee walks away from the door and turns off all the lights. Now Im having to wait for my money to be refunded for a truck I couldnt get although she repeatedly said check your account, it hasnt been paid. Go figure.

The facility was very clean. Christy greeted us with a big smile and made us feel very welcomed. She was very professional and efficient in getting our return handled. I would highly recommend this establishment for any moving needs. Very surprised to have experienced such great customer service!!!

If I could give this facility a million stars I would!!! Hands down the absolute BEST customer service all the way around. Andrea helped me find the best until for the amount of space I needed. They worked with me. If I couldnt get a hold of them via phone, email was answered quickly. I left my unit unlocked one night they contacted me the next day. Just all around GREAT PEOPLE!!!! They are extremely genuine and can tell they truly care! I wouldnt go anywhere else. You cant find that kind of care and customer service anywhere else. Andrea and Nicholas helped me out soooo much and I am truly greatful.

HORRIBLE AND UNPROFFESSIONAL! i went online and called customer service to remove my card and automatic draft bevause i was ending my contract. They not only CHARGED ME ANYWAY, OVERCHARGED WHAT I ACTUALLY OWED, AND CHARGED MY DAYS EARLIER THAN NEEDED THE MANAGER SCREAMED AT ME AND LITERALLY THREW MY RECEIPT AT ME BECAUSE I WAS UPSET AT WHAT SHE DID. ***UHAUL HAS GONE DOWNHILL. THERE WAS A TIME WHEN THIS FRANCHISEE WOULD BE FORCED TO SELL. THE BAD REVIEWS ARE TOTALLY ON POINT!

I tried calling for over 3 days to tell them my pmt would be about 2-3days late and when I was expecting to move everything out. They never returned my call. Sent emails like I never even informed them. It got very aggressive, very quickly and it was really a very minor situation. My storage unit was nice but the service was terrible. So disappointed.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I reserved a truck and moving pads a month ago, but when I went to pick up the truck, they didnt have it. I had to go to another city about 40 minutes away to get a truck. This completely messed up my move as I had already scheduled the movers to come for a particular time. I didnt receive a call to let me know the truck wasnt available, so Ill be filing a complaint with U-haul to let them know about the terrible service I received.

I wanted to give Porsha (sorry if that’s misspelled!) the biggest shoutout. My car broke down in the parking lot and she was so kind to offer my friends and I waters and the air conditioned office to wait in while the tow truck was on its way. She was so understanding and didn’t make us feel like a nuisance at all. Even though this isn’t related to Uhaul, you are lucky to have her and she has outstanding customer service skills.

No one answers the phone sat on hold FOR OVER AN HOUR!!! YO YOU HAVE ALOT OF 1 STARS MAYBE YOU ARE IN THE WRONG BUSINESS!!

The manager, Andrea, has no customer service skills at all. They will charge your credit card for additional charges, usually the same one MULTIPLE times without even asking or getting permission. The vans are NOT even safety checked!! Take your business elsewhere, stay away!!!

I was a previous employee there and was treated with the upmost disrespect and mistreatment in the workplace which was unprofessional to continuously ditch their employees to ride the clock in there house due to them being property management. Then when I tried to rectify this problem I was cursed out and treated poorly due to me attempting to call the management to their actions. I was forced to quit cause their motto as admitted to me was to force their employees to quit rather than firing them no matter the procedures. I have proven myself to be an outstanding employee receiving multiple compliments from other Customers and Going above and beyond my job description sacrificing my free time to cover for this management team and other employees. Not only did they act what was listed above they proceeded to try and taunt me. They as in nick. The male manager. And talking in the back office as if I couldn’t hear them saying that they are annoyed with me and that I am raising their blood pressure. This action and demeanor in its self is unprofessional and childish. I tried my best to be the ideal employee and proved my self to be so and they took advantage of me and was surprised when I was fed up with them and their actions

Clifton assisted with very problem and concern I had. He was helpful in every way and made the process of moving easier. I would recommend this U-haul over the others.

The staff here is super friendly and helpful, the place is clean and secure, and you can even purchase whatever incidentals you might need for packing and storing.

It is impossible to get a hold of someone who works here.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at UHaul today. I was reading previous reviews and the 1-star reviews seemed pretty aligned with my experience. If the previous reference regarding Nick was that Vanilla Ice looking wannabe clown with a laughable half sleeve that sits at the front desk wishing he was hard I can relate exactly to a T. I did my best not to start laughing at him while he tried to buck up at me over the counter for asking a question about their app...Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. Also to the boy, Nick if this is you. I’m not sure you want to step on that glue. You have no idea who you come into contact with so I would straighten up....You’re a joke and I’ve had several laughs regarding you today

Hidden fees beat me up. Just tell me the deal is a lie. I went two weeks with out internet cuz you crooks cant tell the truth.

I never write bad reviews but I think it’s important to share my experience with this U-Haul in particular. The new management in this location is absolutely awful, especially Nick. I have never met someone in a management position that was so unprofessional and rude. It is important to highlight that none of the other employees behaved poorly and actually provided descent service. The main reason we moved was that new management started to charge a dollar every time we received a package to the storage unit, something no other storage unit does. Nick was extremely rude when calling to tell us we had received a package which was truly unnecessary as it is a service they claim to provide. Additionally, when we decided to move I went in to ask about the process to move out and was told that I only needed to leave the storage unit empty. The day we went to move out they decided to change policies without emailing us or communicating the change of policy therefore charging us $80 for using their trash. It was absolutely unprofessional! I would have not minded paying that amount had I been told of the change beforehand. Lastly, the location of my storage unit was right in front of a paved area that would accumulate water whenever it rained and would stay for several days. I had to go to the storage unit a couple of times a week so having my shoes full with water every time was definitely frustrating. Anyway, I am never using that location for any of my storage needs nor do I recommend it to anyone! I do recommend using the U-Haul in 11320 HIghway 620 N, Austin TX as the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the drive!!

My wife and I reserved a 15 Uhaul truck to move items from our apartment into our new house for January 25th. Our pickup time was 7am.The store was open and the lady at the front counter clearly did not feel well that morning. Despite that, her customer service and demeanor were exemplary.I believe her name was Andrea and she was the store manager. She had our truck prepped and ready to go. She took time to explain the mileage rate questions I had. She even turned the heater on in the truck when she pulled it around for me.Returning the truck was quick and simple. I was emailed a detailed receipt of my charges. There were no surprises and the process was very efficient!Thank you Andrea! You made a difficult moving day for my wife and I just a little bit easier.We appreciate you!

The online check in experience could be greatly improved but the folks onsite are really helpful and on top of it.

Let me begin by stating that I am a STICKLER for Customer Service!I operate in the arena all day everyday!I value the feeling of knowing that my possessions are safe & secure!From the very 1st day that I showed up needing a truck, to my very first day delivering my items, to my last and final day there, Andrea, Nick and the entire UHAUL TEAM took care of me! Every Time I called or dropped by!Nick went out of his way to help me unload my items bc I was by myself. 98* TX weather is like 107 in a truck! I dont know too many managers that would GO out their way like that! #REALTALKAndrea girl....You get 10+STARS*ENOUGH SAID!Let me tell you, treating people the way you want to be treated and a good conversation and a good laugh can go a long way!This ENTIRE STAFF ROCKS

The owners are very nice, the grounds are fairly clean, the climate controlled area is very clean and the temperature is pretty chilly. The prices per square footage from what I have found at least tend to be a little better than what youre going to find in Austin. I believe you may get a discount if you pay the advance for a given period of time but dont quote me on that. If you need personal storage for your goodies or even a car or trailer for that matter, this place is a very good option

Recently moved and so I decided to rent a truck with these guys. I bought the safe move insurance thinking that it would protect damages to the vehicle and I ended up scratching the overhead. Turns out that the protection doesnt protect damages to the overhead, so ridiculous. So when I returned the vehicle and told them about it they wanted to charge me 570$ upfront. I told them it was only scratches the vehicle still works as it should and I thought the protection would protect me from financial liability. After further discussions they lady at the desk told me that her manager would speak to me and that my account would be placed on hold. I check my bank later that evening only to find out that they charged me 669$. No one has yet to call me to talk about this and when I called them back they told me that they cant do anything about it once the payment goes through nothing can be done. Thats the biggest lie Ive heard and I literally think that they are charging me whatever they want which is completely unreasonable and taking advantage of the situation. I would not recommend this business they exploit their customers financially and unreasonable. Dont do business with these guys.

Best customer service you could ever ask for! Start to finish.Upon checking my ID at the desk, I was quickly and politely thanked for my veteran status. Being an Afghan Army Vet that doesnt outwardly display my service history, its warming to get a respectable heart to heart thank you. Come to find out, the gentleman behind this professional & honorable respect, was proudly a serviceman in the Navy.I will gladly go out of my way to use this U-hual facility for future needs!

Associates ignored us as we stood outside for 15 minutes in a 1 person at a time line. They kept walking by us going in and out like they didnt want to be bothered. All we wanted was to purchase a couple of moving boxes. Poor management and customer service...

I’d like to thank Reginald publicly for being a huge help! I was in a pinch for a second truck I didn’t expect to rent. Movers at my house rapidity filled a first truck and told me I’d need another one real fast if I wanted them to stick around. The thought of the unexpected cost of movers on standby at my house and a second truck made my stomach turn! Reginald seemed to drop the world and gave me his undivided attention, and did the absolute best he could on the second rental and cost. Hey, every penny helps.Thank you Reginald, and thank you UHAUL for allowing your staff to be empathetic and make decisions that make positive differences in peoples lives.

This has been my favorite Uhaul location for 5 years now. I have used their equipment and bought so much from this location for several local moves. Friendly staff who are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Couldn’t ask for more during the stress of moving!

I rented a truck here and when I returned it, I inadvertently left my dress sports jacket in the floor of the truck cab. It was night when I returned the 4 hour rental and the light in the cab of the truck appeared to be inoperable and I didnt remember that I had taken off my jacket and laid it on the floor. When I went to the store to recover my jacket, I was told that no one had seen it.My actual mileage was captured from the odometer for proper billing but my sports jacket was not seen.The truck cab was cleaned, which is to be expected, but my jacket was not seen.I asked two attendants about my jacket (I went by the store twice and called to speak with someone also) and no one saw my jacket.It is rational to conclude that someone saw my jacket. And that, that someone was a U-Haul employee.In addition, at the time of this post, the jacket has not been returned to me, the paying customer.I admit that I am responsible for leaving my jacket in the floor of the truck cab.This same rationale also causes me to conclude that a U-Haul employee is responsible for seeing it and not returning it.There was an opportunity here for a U-Haul employee to do the right thing, but it was not taken. As a result, I cant in good conscience recommend this store to anyone. Because if you, as a customer, make the mistake of leaving anything in a truck when you return it, as I did, I can only conclude that it will not be returned to you.I admit my part in this outcome, for I left the jacket. But think about this for a moment, WHERE IS THE JACKET?A disappointed customer… Also, by the way, I was a new customer…I regret having to write this post.

Great place. I came in on a really long move from East Texas and Charles took great care of us. He really is a good guy that actually looks out for customers. Glad I happened to stop in at the right UHaul.

I had a very pleasant experience. The staff was more than accommodating! The only problem that i had is that the storage unit that I had reserved online was not available. Apparently there has been a glitch between the online system and the actual location. They have the actual unit that I want the only problem is that the door is apparently damaged. I hope to be able to go into the office tomorrow and get this all straightened out.

Rented a truck from uhaul and it came with a free month of storage. They were helpful and friendly in getting me taken care of. They dont have a lot of open units but i was able to get one that would work for me. It wasnt the place i was supposed to drop my truck off at but they helped me find a closer one i could drop it off to than the one i was supposed to got to.

This U-Haul location is a huge rip-off! We rented a van from them a few weeks ago. The vehicle was parked with the back end right up next to a building so we couldnt easily inspect that part of the van. The manager on duty never offered or bothered to do a pre-check walk-around with us, but she did get us to agree to the additional insurance for the car. We used the van and brought it back in good condition. Again, no one bothered to do a check out with us. The next morning we get a call from their manager accusing us of damaging the vehicle. Wouldnt you know it - there was a dent in the very back! That dent was not made by us, but because we had taken out the extra insurance, they charged our credit card an additional $150.00. In our opinion, the U-Haul manager was just waiting for someone to buy the additional insurance so they could get their vehicle fixed at our expense. Yes, it was our mistake to not insist that the manager get off her butt and inspect the vehicle with us, but most reputable companies would do that as part of their normal operations. Beware - if you rent any vehicle from these people, make sure they do a pre and post inspection and sign off on it, especially if you buy their extra insurance. I will NEVER do business with U-Haul again, especially this location, and I will tell this story to everyone I know - shame on them!

Came in to buy a TV box for a 65 in TV. I drive a small sedan. If that young lady hadn’t put it in my car there is no way I would have been able to so thank you. I tried for days to get the box out. In the end It took 2 men to get it out my car because it was jammed.
