Unfortunately, another tradesman that says one thing and does another. I reached out to Johnny at Cedar Park Electric to install a track light and to fix a four gang switch bank. The initial call went well where we outlined what was needed. We agreed to an appointment where he indicated the repairs would be done. He didnt show up as scheduled. I called to get an eta and he started in about how busy he was but that he would come after his current visit. When they did arrive, there were two of electricians and they were not ready. They did a quick look at the two projects and started complaining about the amount of wiring in the four gang box as well as the heat in the attic for the wiring they would need to do there. Instead of starting the repair as agreed, he wanted to push us off a couple more days to pick up supplies. They then left without doing anything. Maybe hes a good electrician and maybe not. Either way, that is not a way to run a business or treat your clients. I decided to go elsewhere for the service I needed.

Johnny solved an urgent problem other electricians could not. It was a $225, same-day fix. That may sound pricey, but Im all set. The problem is I ordered a wall microwave/oven combo for my kitchen after my oven died. The new oven requires 32 amps and my oven only has 30. The Best Buy guy assured me that it would only trip the breaker if I was using both at full power. Hello holiday troubles. The oven was being delivered this afternoon and I started calling electricians first thing in the morning to see how I could get more amps. Johnny responded and offered to come look at the breaker box right away. He was able to get me to 35 amps with a new breaker, within code and very safe. Three other electricians told me over the phone that the job would require tearing out sheetrock and labor would be a minimum of $1000.

I have had Cedar Park Electric out to the house multiple times. The house has Aluminum wiring which requires special handling. The issues were mainly driven by screw ups by previous do it yourself owners. Johnny and Terry were great to work with. They are highly responsive, often available the same or next day. The are willing to work with you. The quality of the work seems excellent And Terry and Johnny are fun to listen to while working, they clearly have been working together for many years and have a fun banter. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Did not give me an estimate for service call. Said he would take a look at the issue and quote. Came home, took a look at my issue, figured out bulb needed to be replaced and charged me $120 service call. Both the guys were friendly and nice. I wish they were transparent about their charges. I also think $120 service call was overpriced.

Johnny left our house earlier this morning after replacing a main breaker and installing a whole house surge arrester and we couldnt have called on a better electrician. He was courteous from first meeting to farewell and was extremely professional by keeping us well informed all along the way. I will be recommending him to all of my Cedar Park Town Center neighbors and beyond.

I needed some work done in my garage (add and move outlets, move light switch, bring previous work up to code). Johnny and David came out the same day I called to take a look and give me an estimate at no charge, and was able to schedule an appointment for the following week to complete the work. Other places I called wanted to charge me something like $80-100 just to give an estimate and were not available to actually start the work until at least a couple weeks out.David came out the following week on time and was very knowledgeable and explained to me all the work he was doing and how everything was wired. It turned out that there were two breakers controlling different parts of the garage (I previously thought there was only one), and the previous wiring had not included GFCI protection for all outlets, which is a requirement for garages now. David was able to complete all the work in one day, and everything looks and works great now!The price also seemed very reasonable considering the amount of changes I wanted done, and there was no upcharge on materials. I would definitely recommend Cedar Park Electric and will likely be using them again in the future.

Johnny and his assistant came to my house when my outlets were acting up. Turned out there were some wiring issues but I couldnt afford to have all the needed work done. He worked with me to find a price I could pay and spent the time and energy to make sure all electrical issues were fixed. He even took the time to teach my daughter to play a piece on the piano. The service, care, and genuine humanity was fully exhibited and I will only use Cedar Park Electric in the future.

Owner Johnny came out with his team and they checked all our breakers and wires and tightened them, checked our attic for wire issues, and put in a outdoor house surge protector. The cost was reasonable, especially since we came out same day. They were also very friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend CPE for any work you need to have done, or for a second opinion since he was very honest and open about what we needed to do and what could wait and what was unnecessary.

Very Professional experience from Johnny Morris. Does good honest work. Used him again for my door bell not working. I have Ring and it stopped working. I spent hours speaking to Ring. Johnny sent a guy out the next day. Replaced my transformer and door bell chime. Now it all works perfectly! Was not working for a month. Wasted time talking to handy men who said it was a 2-3 hour job. CP Electric did it in one hour.

I called and got Johnny on the phone today because I am having some electrical issues in my kitchen. The conversation went back and forth since it is a kind of confusing situation as he Johnny put it it doesnt make any sense. Then the it seemed he started to be short with my because my dogs started to bark I said one second let me let my dogs out they are starting to bark so I can hear you when I came back on the phone he made the statement what do you need youve been talking to someone while we are on the phone. SO thats when things started getting... rude on both sides including me I said I was talking to my dogs to get them outside so I can hear you. His reply so what are you looking for do you want me to come fix it on Monday or not I said yes... Then he asked if I was in a mobile home and I said yes and his reply was We dont work on mobile homes I understood and said OK and started to ask if there is anything I can do myself but by the time I got to anything Johnny hung up the phone without apologizing or saying bye. I think this is an extremely unprofessional and rude way to talk to anyone even when it come to they werent coming to my place anyway. I will never recommend this company to anyone to the point of dont bother even calling them if you want any respect what so ever.
