Great customer service. They are lacking HARD on outfit choices unfortunately. Had to pick a random outfit for my daughters first bear. (Didnt HAVE to but didnt want her to take one without clothes home.)

A lot of great choices for your stuffed animal with adorable choices of clothes. Great add on, like a thumping heart, or a special song. Cute heart ceremony, before closing your bear. Had fun doing this. My 1st time there.😊

We were there today and the ladies were amazing. Made my kids feel special despite that the experience is different as what they were used to.Do to the annoying virus, the kids cant push the pedal anymore to fill up the bear.All of the hands on fun stuff is covered.😔There is a sign to wait until someone greets you (like a restaurant).🙄At the end of the day, the kids had fun. The ladies sang happy birthday to the longhorn and Eevee the stuffy which made the visit extra special. ❤️😊 Thank you!

This build-a-bear location has a hard-working team aimed at giving each customer a great, personalized experience so they can make memories that will last furever. Beary great team. Would give 6 stars out of 5.

The staff were all so friendly. My granddaughter enjoyed her visit there.

They didnt have very many clothes to choose from. The workers where really nice.But this trip just was not as much fun do to you dont get to help stuff the bears and they didnt have any way to do the birth certificates.

This place is awesome!! The ladies who work there (5/5/2021) were so unbelievably kind, fun and interactive with our daughter. They made an already fun experience even better! I wish I remembered their names because they deserve a raise. Loved it and well definitely be back.

We were able to find the last one of a stuffed animal our daughter was looking for. So glad we stopped in. The employees were nice and helpful.

Friendliest people ever! They accept folks of every age to enjoy the experience. Very safe and take the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of covid. Pretty nice selection of bears too! Everything is organized and doesnt look like a tornado ran through it as you would expect most stores that kids go to, the little hellions.

My grandma just passed away and I had a gift card she bought me that I was saving until a plush came out I wanted. I went in sad, gross looking, and unprepared. Both employees were so full of energy and kindness it made me enjoy the experience again even though I was missing a big piece. I am 26 and it felt off doing this alone. I got a scorbunny and the first employee was super sweet and was patient as I picked which one I would take home. They had me do tons of cute things that the character would do to bring its heart to life. After that, I had been having issues with my new card. I couldnt get the pjs because my gift card wasnt covering it. Obviously embarrassed I ask them to put it back. The kindness that radiated from the second employee helped ease that thought. They next thing I knew the $2 I was missing was covered by loving people and I got to leave with a different perspective than when I entered.I apologize being long winded, but its so rare especially now to have such a life changing, beautiful experience. Thank you everyone there for making a terrible year look bright. I cant thank the workers there enough for that small interaction. Thank you both working.

The lakeline mall location in Austin TX was so unorganized for the pay your age day that people were cutting the line. They should have given tickets to people at opening instead they started to hand them out 2 hours later. I was willing to wait for my kids to have a build a bear experience but with the chaos and lack of organization by the store, the build a bear experience is now a bad memory in the minds of my kids and myself. There should have been better planning put into this promotion.

This was my first time in this store. It was nice, clean, and well organized. The staff were helpful and friendly. The process is pretty simple as well; pick a bear, get it stuffed, choose accessories, name it, pay, and youre out the door. Prices are not as high as I expected so we were able to walk out with a bear and a cute outfit. My child really enjoyed the whole experience and we will definitely be back for more accessories.

Customer service was awful. The girl at the register had two masks on and wanted me to stand on the blue line which seemed to be 10 ft. away from the register while she asked me questions. I couldnt hear what she was saying. She rudely motioned for me to get my grandbabies away from the counter where neither of them could reach but all they knew were that their animals were up there. It was a frustrating all around experience. We have been to build a bear several times and knew it may be a little different with covid but this experience has lost my business. We were trying to have a fun outing but all the employees followed us around and never interacted with the kids. I was in line with four other people and we all expressed how disappointed we were.

Picked up a bear a couple of weeks ago only to find out my daughter had that one, went and picked a new one....easy exchange!!

This location is rough. Customer service was awful. Air conditioning was not on so everyone was sweating. No interaction with my kids while building the bear. I was disappointed for sure. At least my kids love the bears lol

Completely disappointed. We called earlier to check times— they states they were open from 12-7PM and closed from 230-330 for lunch. We arrived at 445 and told they were closed and close at 5. Our little was in tears 😭 on her 5th birthday. I asked for a a manger and Courtney from afar yelled that she was the manager and it’s closed. I asked to speak to someone else and she said there is no one. It’s a hard season—- I get it, but customer service goes a long way.

Randomly popped in on national teddy bear day and left with a new member of the family and an outfit for under $17. The staff was super nice and helpful. My son enjoyed helping make his own bear and the staffs routine with the bears heart make the entire experience extra special.

This place is absolutely amazing! For kids and adults. everyone who was working there when i went were super nice and the place gives off a really good vibe. im definitely going back next time i have money.

Fast and easy.

Today 10/18/2020 The lunch break says from 2:30-3:15. I arrived at 3:20 not a soul in sight and waited until 3:55. I left along with several customers waiting.(They were 9 customers total waiting) Who knows what time they showed up if they ever did.... You lost my sale along with the 9 customers who were waiting on you.

Great fun, great staff! It was busy, but still each kid got a special experience, they didnt rush the kids along. Would reccomend and will go again

This is an awesome location. Weve been to so many different build a bears and this one was bigger and had a better selection than any we have gone to.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Was rushed through the whole store because they had a lunch break an hour after they opened and closed the whole store. The voice box didn’t work in the store and they told us it’s because of the store music and took it outside and it didn’t work you have to put it up to your ear and they were rude and unhygienic. I could return it because they were at lunch and wasn’t gonna wait till the were done. I live over an hour away.

Birthday gift card for my granddaughter was so easy to get. The sales people were super nice.

Business was closed at mall. Called the number and it did not state it was closed until December 22nd.

They lied. It’s the 5th got here at 10:15 and they aren’t open. They missed a sale.

So much fun watching grandchildren build their bears.. excellent staff. Very patient with the children making sure their creative experiences with their imaginations were all it should be and what they wanted

My daughter got what she wanted and this entire 4 star rating is because I could buy a bear that was a display bear that was already stuffed instead of waiting in line.That was about the best thing I could of heard after waiting and wanting to go stuff the bear myself instead of wait in a line that never moved. They need to fix this by letting parents leave the bear and giving us a pager like at a restaurant that goes off when your bear has been stuffed.If that isnt plausible then maybe pass out alcohol to parents, that would make the hour wait much more tolerable.

I normally love this place in many stores in multiple states. However when I go here there is no one to help me out. I went here for a birthday and was told they didnt do birthdays even after showing them an email. On the next visit one employee was trying to help a line while 2 employees were chatting. I waited for 45 minutes because I had a giftcard. No one ever tried to assist making the line shorter or help the other people in the store. He also had to ring us up. The next visit the store was full of people with the same scenario. I left. I have tried making online purchases but they never arrive and are always delayed. It says it will take 3 to 5 days but has turned into weeks. They do not return emails. When I have called they said they are super busy and havent had time to fulfill the order, visit the store. Ebay or Amazon wasnt ideal but was faster.

Our daughter turned 1 this month and was able to do the pay your age special. The process of building out the little bear was really cute and she was grinning and laughing the whole time.
