The employees that work here were super nice and very fast in getting our ice cream and getting us paid. However, what I believe to be a manager or an owner came in from outside of the shop and quickly went behind the counter and began taking cookies off of trays. She didn’t wash her hands and she wasn’t wearing a mask. For someone that was in what appeared to be a management position to not following basic sanitary protocols I will choose another person place to get my ice cream.

I ordered an ice cream cake here and I wanted it to look like the one from the book. I ordered a small raving craving sprinkle cake. When i went to pick up the cake, It was just one of the previous made ones from the fridge. So it wasnt the design i wanted at all, it wasnt the size i ordered (this was a medium), and it wasnt made fresh like I thought i was getting.It didnt have any of the decorations and they literally just got icing and wrote happy birthday on one of the cakes from the fridge. Why have the book out with specialty cakes if you are just going to give customers random premade cakes? I didnt say anything when i picked it up because i was in a rush and didnt really notice just how different it was until i got home. I wont be coming here again for ice cream cakes.

The staff here are amazing. They were extremely accommodating to me on a last minute order for a cookie cake. The put it together very quickly, and the decoration was very well done. It was definitely a one-off chance they had an extra in the back since they make these fresh - but I wanted to share here that I came in around Noon CT and they offered to make and decorated one for me by the later afternoon same-day if they didnt have an extra in the back. I feel like thats pretty quick for a same-day order on a Saturday. Im glad they explained how I can order in advance next time because Ill certainly order again from this location, but its also good to know they can move pretty quickly on these orders if they are able to. I really appreciated the flexibility and professionalism at this store.

Cookie was a hit , delicious. I asked for them to cook a little longer cause last time it was a bit raw. This one was great

Daughter ordered a cookie cake online for grad party that I picked up. She didn’t see it until later that evening and it was completely wrong from what she ordered. I called and left a message hoping to get the correct cookie the next morning. Over a week later, I have not received a phone call back and ended up ordering, paying for and picking up another cookie in about 15 minutes at the GAC in the outlet mall. Poor customer service for not even calling back and trying to make the order correct or offering a refund or discount.

Very disappointing experience… won’t ever being giving them my business again.

Bought 6 cookies for 10 bucks. 1 was edible, all others too stale to eat. Sorry guys but we pay for freshness!

Terrible, terrible service! Ordered a cookie cake to be ready at 4:00. Got there at 4:20 to get it, they couldn’t find it anywhere. Then said they could start working on it, but ran out of batter and would be over a 30 minute wait. I asked for a refund and they didn’t know how to do that. When I talked to the manager the next day and tried to order the cake again instead of a refund, he told me it would be a few days before they could make the cake.

Wife ordered a cookie cake to surprise me for my birthday. She ordered at 9:30 a.m. Went to pick it up at 5:30 after work. They didnt even acknowledge her order, just said it was missed. They said they could get it tomorrow. No discount offered or delivery offered to make up for THEIR mistake.

Never actually have cookie cake. So many times we have come in and they just say, no not at the moment. Wont waste my time again.

RESPONDING TO THE POST FROM EVERFARAWAY RAIN: The franchisee who owns the GAC/MS store at The Parke in Cedar Park also owns the MARBLE SLAB store outside of Lakeline Mall, which I believe is the store you were referring to in your post. He does not own the Great American Cookies store inside the mall. The issues you describe do not apply to the Great American Cookies in Lakeline Mall. A little confusing since The Parke store is a co-branded store and the MS review was posted on the GAC site. Went there today to find zero staff wearing masks. Hate to break it to you but covid is still a thing. I mean even the liquor store next door is taking better precautions and they don’t serve food!

Great customer service from this location.The designer was awesome at putting together a great cookie design for my husbands birthday at the last minute! She even helped me find an Uber Eats Driver to deliver it to his office. Friendly team with great customer service skills. Thank you!

First time ordering a cookie cake from this location. art work on the cookie was absolutely ridiculous. not sure who did the art work, but apparently they need to find a new career or take some art classes. very disappointing. (review is not attaching my pictures to show the epic failure)

The woman came out aggressively telling my family we could not come in without a mask, first off we had mask and just came from eating lunch and did not put on since it was suppose to me a quick stop. 20 minutes later for two shakes. 4 people working and only 1 wanted to help, the other sat in the back and just gossip about us. Worst $15 we spent on two small shakes.

Friendly staff cookie was great icecream was sub par especially when you consider the price
