Great local coffee shop with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere inside. Some comfy living room style chairs, two large tables for working, outlets for laptops and phones, and some board games you can borrow. They also sell beer and wine here!

Nice coffee, in a relaxed environment. Games for families and friends to play, and some nice cake, pastries, cookies etc. Would love to see some more substantial food on the menu. Staff are welcoming and service is quick. My pastry was served on a piece if slate, which meant crumbs and flakes were everywhere. As someone who doesnt want to leave a mess for staff, i would prefer a plate.

It only takes one sip to know if your coffee is gonna be great and sure enough, I love it! Friendly service, great coffee, what more could I want to start my day off!

Yum yummy yum. Food was pretty good, although the fried chicken tasted a little bit like shrimp. Maybe they use the same fryer for both. Atmosphere is a little odd too, it feels kinda crowded with tables close together.

Very cozy atmosphere and quiet (some tables had plug points too).Service was good and the coffee was great - little on the less bolder side but still delicious. The breakfast burrito was loaded and good.

I havent been in the store yet, but I cannot wait to have the opportunity of trying in personally. On Dec 21st, I decided to contact them to request a delivery to cheer up my mom, who lives a few blocks from then (while I live over a thousand miles from them). Judy treated me like I was her closest friend and sent an assortment of delicious options. She even took the time to text me later, asking how my mom liked the surprise. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about their customer service, which indeed goes above and beyond.

Starbucks could never. Ive gotten the vanilla sweet cream latte hot and iced more times than I can count. Always good and consistent.I wished some of their breakfast was more homemade but the French toast is a nice add with the coffee.

First time here, was very impressed. The croissants were delicious! Also got their apple poptart, very good! Definitely be back

Black sugar is my favorite coffee shop in cedar park. They have a great staff, interior, drinks, and pastries.

Went for the first time today. Delightful atmosphere, and I absolutely LOVED the vanilla latte. My friend ordered this cheese pastry thingy that we shared and it was out-of-this-world delicious. I’ve never had anything quite like it and I’m pretty sure I’m already addicted. So happy to have this coffe shop in Cedar Park!!

Not sure about the pre-made food, but their coffee? Dear God, what a find! The Wicked must be tasted to be believed. Best coffee ever.If slightly spicy isnt your speed and you dont want to find a Starbucks, I promise you they have a selection here to keep you curious. The Creme Brulee deserves a try. Recommended.

The food is delicious and the drinks are too. I really like the extra flair with presentation. The staff are friendly and easy to talk to.

A little pricy but tasty. What adds the fifth star tho is customer service. We were greeted warmly and genuinely when we walked in, our order was brought to us freshly warmed and with a smile, and I truly felt they cared about our experience.Everything is pretty and the small touches make it a good experience. Will definitely come again :)I got the fudge attack frappe, my friend got a vanilla latte. (She works at Starbucks and agrees that it’s definitely better quality)Also the tables are beautiful!

The place is very nice for working. Staff is very friendly. Drinks are good. Wifi is good if you dont have many video calls :-)Ive been back almost everyday, twice a day since I found this place.

Loved this place❤️We went in here randomly on News Years day as most places are closed.This place has an amazing clean, new, modern design the tables and metal pipe light art sculptures were all made by the manager(sorry I dont remember your name). So cool!The menu of baked good are all made fresh day of and are super yummy.We got a spinach feta croissant and the sausage egg and Bacon croissant.They also have keto coffee😱 so good and creamyThey have some games to play as well so we chose the Lord of the rings risk and it seriously took us an hour to even try to set it up right. Unfortunately we finally got it set up and then they closed so we didnt even get to play.We will be back.

The staff is absolutely sweet, but the food and coffee is so bad. My coffee tasted like a cup of thick sugar and milk. And the food was just reheated frozen sausages. I wanted to like the place so bad because it is so cozy and the staff was AMAZING! I just wish the drink/food was better quality.

Great atmosphere, plenty of seating, built in outlets mid tables for working/studying alone or in groups, board games available, the All that Jazz hazelnut mocha was good, a bunch of different pastries and treats (will have to try next time), and a variety of other beverages available. My new work spot for sure.

I had gone by this place once prior the vaccines being out, but I forgot to post and remembered again today why I didnt ever want to come back to this place.The owner is a never masker. On my previous visit, she had no mask on and was speaking face to face with several employees and very close proximity. There was never a mask requirement for the store, and when I stopped there last winter there were several customers with no masks.So public health concerns and conspiracies aside, the coffee is just terrible- it tastes like watered down 7-Eleven coffee. The staff were definitely very friendly and professional, but I dont think this coffee shop is worth stopping in for.

What a cool place! Went here when visiting on the recommendation from a friend. Got the cloud puff latte and it was awesome! Like cotton candy and coffee had a baby! Definitely worth going for that experience alone. Will be back for sure.

The coffee is bad. Like from a gas station bad. The food is not much better. The only reason I’m giving this place two stars is because the customer service was excellent. That is worth a mention. However. If you’re in Georgetown and want to enjoy your coffee, go to Lamppost on the other side of the square.

I have a long waited at to go to Black Sugar Caffe and I am so excited that I stopped by today. I received a treat with the host as well as the other employees. The host was decked out in his most fashionable Halloween costume.(see pics) AND, I am trying the Creme Brulee coffee and it is phenomenal. A must try...Halloween2017

Great interior, questionable business practice - no drip coffee after noon ... at a coffee shop. They instead offer you an Americano, as if it’s the same?Follow the math here - a half gallon of coffee is 64oz, at most that is 8oz of grinds. That’s half a pound of coffee. We know they don’t pay retail for coffee grinds but let’s say they do - at 12 dollars a pound, that’s 6 dollars to make the half gallon of coffee. That means they need to sell two cups to break even - and maybe that’s worth it just to not annoy customers who write reviews, like me?Realistically the cost is around 2.50 to make that half gallon of coffee... my one cup would have paid for the whole thing.Even Mozart’s brews until close...Yes - I know there is overhead costs, but those are sunk, they’re being spent regardless because they’re in business.PS - they also don’t bother to update their hours in Google, they just post a sign. Super helpful sign when I’m driving 20 min past 5 Starbucks to support a local business. Mix in a clue, help yourselves here.I updated your hours for you.

Drinks are good, really like the atmosphere and the apple strudel is really good. I didnt like it first time I visited but they recently started making them in store and they are bigger, so much better and filling.

So after view the website menu, we were sold. Made this our date night. Asked for crab cakes, chicken wings and 2 chicken satays and pancakes. Guess what...they no longer had it. Well take it off your menu....also out of sliders. So we took tea and doughnuts home. Sad,!

Solid second wave coffee. Im sure their sugary concoctions taste just fine, but dont expect any third wave fruity Ethiopian espresso or pour overs here.

This place has great coffee. I prefer the med roast drip. My wife likes the galaxy. The breakfast burritos are fantastic, you only need one though.

Loved this place!! I was looking for a quaint little place to meet with a girlfriend to chat and found this place on maps. Am I glad I did!! I was completely caught off guard with how awesome this place was!! An amazing beer and wine selection, a great, but small menu if food, and an awesome array of macaroons and other naked cafe type goodies. The drinks were awesome, to boot!! The staff was wonderful! They have karaoke, game nights, and all sorts of other little things. I will absolutely be going back!!!

Warm and welcoming ambiance paired with great customer service. Their cups of coffee are huge and it was decently priced. I also ordered the coffee cake and it was wonderful. It’s obvious that the owners and employees take the time to do the “little things” and it really makes a difference. I had a great experience here and I will definitely be going back. Thank you!!

For the most part, Ive had good service...but I sure wouldnt sit food in front of an unmasked person (during COVID) and then afterward...realize that it was a mistake and then take said food away from that customer and give it to the correct customer. Thats not such a great idea.

The coffee here is delicious but you are missing out if you havent tried their pastries. Beyond fantastic. The staff has always been lovely and Im that annoying customer who asks lots of questions...so yeah. Give them a chance :)

Was my favorite place until they stopped offering any coffee items on Postmates. For the past month to 2 months, everything is available but every single coffee item. How does a coffee place not serve coffee anymore? I hope this is just a glitch that can be fixed and not just another instance of a company just saying screw it.

The food and drinks are good, and I really like the space. The service people are nice, but the service needs work. Went on two separate occasions and dealt with two separate staffs. Both times they forgot the food order. The first time it took me asking for it twice. I want to like this place but waiting 15 minutes to realize you need to ask for your food again is a bit frustrating when they arent too busy.

Great coffee shop! Ive been meaning to try them for a while and finally had time today.. The interior is very welcoming with lots of seating. Loved the robot sculptures that are apparently made by the owner himself. I ordered a lavender wonder which was amazing! It is basically a latte with lavender syrup, but oh so good. My sister got the sweet cream vanilla latte, which was also spectacular but quite a bit sweeter - good for someone with a sweet tooth. Fun to find some different drinks here! We also got the death by chocolate cake and the apple strudel - thumbs up on both. Definitely recommend this place!

I am typically really pleased with them. I get the iced Vanilla Sweet Cream Latte and an everything bagel with cream cheese very intermittently. I would say the service could be better sometimes when I go...and as much as I love them, they did me dirty today. Exhibit A, the bagel with hardly any cream cheese...you could have at least mentioned that there was none...

First time visiting and it was a great experience. The homemade poptarts with caramel macchiato was delicious!

This place had a pretty cool vibe! There were a few games to play and some neat foods and drinks. They have both coffee and wine, which I thought was pretty cool. They have several smaller tables, some bigger tables, and some sitting chairs. The service could have been a little bit more friendly but I think I enjoyed it. I might go back again.

This is THE BEST in the area. Special shout out to Anna and Matt - They go above and beyond with customer service! If youre dairy sensitive, they have a Vegan croissant (so good!), and they can take the cheese off of the breakfast sandwiches (because they make them IN HOUSE!). Coffee is excellent too! Best coffee shop in our area!

Great place! We order for delivery often (DoorDash, Favor, etc.) for breakfast, and they always get our order right. Even if we get one of the specialty coffees with extra flavors. The coffee is on point, and their food is really good.The Elvis espresso is by far my favorite! I mean, who doesnt want peanut butter and banana flavored coffee?Highly Recommended!

First time today. Interesting, but not special. Looked a lot like St. Arbux, but did have some alternatives. I tried the wicked with espresso, mocha, cinnamon & cayenne pepper. Glad I tried it, but not sure its a favorite.Cool that theyve such variety & have wine & beers, too.Ill be back.

Great coffee, staff, AND GREAT PRICES! I have gotten so used to a latte or coffee being 6 dollars, but at Black Sugar its about 4. Also, best seating for someone working or doing school as many chairs have cushions versus hard stools.

I was in there yesterday and the place was packed and ZERO people were wearing masks and there was no social distancing in sight.They do have a drive-thru, and three outdoor tables, two of which are shaded most of the day.

Great coffee place. But Im actually waiting on a cheese danish thats taken past 15 min to make. If they will it told me the wait time I wouldnt of ordered it.

Im always up for trying new cafes/coffee shops. I went to this one and I wasnt disappointed. I ordered the cappuccino and it tasted great, nice foam and everything. Another plus was the staff, they were so kind and helped explain what was on their menu so I was informed of what I was going to order. They really were sweet and always had a smile on their face. Lastly the environment itself was calming and relaxing. They have plenty of space with tables that have charging outlets so you wouldnt have to worry about finding a wall outlet. Overall I highly recommend this place, well worth my time and money.

I normally love this place but the lady who rang me out was so rude and mean. No personality and just seemed angry, bitter, and not happy.. her name was Sarah e.. all I had was a mocha and 1 croissant so it wasnt a big order so I did not understand her disdain. I dont think Ill be going back.Edit. I called and spoke to the manager and found out they were understaffed and they were training someone new all at the same time. I have worked in the restaurant industry and understand the frustration. She shouldnt have let it shown so much though. I will be back I just hope that her day got better. *from 2 star to 4

I visited this place on a whim as I tend to love coffee shops. It has very, very quickly become my favorite coffee shop. Not only is their coffee outstanding but so is their food! They have Gluten-Free and vegan options which is an extra bonus! They have live music on select weekends too! Serving craft beer and other specialty items this place is a definite must-see and try!Did I mention they have awesome coffee?

The coffee was really good and cinnamon strusel cake was delicious. But I knocked off 2 stars because the supreme burrito was terrible. Bacon was soggy and tasted undercooked and the potatoes were disgusting tasted raw and not seasoned. We will be back for coffee and cake only.

Super cute location. It might not look it from the outside but the inside is exactly what you want from a local coffee shop. The latte I got (something with wicked in the name) was more like spicy hot chocolate than coffee, but still delightful!

Great caffe and tapas bar. My husband and I visited recently, the food, service, and pricing were all outstanding. I’d love to check out the events held at this location....small and quaint but doesn’t disappoint! I would’ve given them a five but I didn’t get “eat” breakfast when I went. Based on the pictures posted on line One could assume that they serve full plated meals, they don’t... when I return I can give feedback on the pastries...I’m definitely looking forward to that. 🤩🤩🤩

I got their creme brûlée coffee and their bacon, egg, & cheese croissant. They were both really quite good. The croissant was slightly under baked, but not so much to gross me out or ruin it. The latte was super sweet and creamy. I will almost definitely order the latte again if I’m in the area since it was so good. The sandwich was a bit overpriced for the size, so I probably won’t get it again but I wouldn’t say never. The location is pretty good for a nice little coffee shop so I hope they survive

Great service! Loved the vibe as soon as I walked in. Sad they dont have scones but plenty of other baked goods from which to choose. Wish they had a bigger tea selection because Im not a coffee drinker. Really enjoyed the comfort of the place

I love the black Diamond(blended) service can be a little bit quicker, however they are kind, friendly and have great products. Always clean an fresh atmosphere.

This place is ok. The coffees are good but the teas are extremely strong to the point you can barely drink it. I ordered a lavender tea thru the drive thru and drove of happy thinking Im fixing to sip on some hot tea for my throat. It was so horribly bitter I couldnt drink it. Went home and ended up making a whole pitcher of tea out of it. They need to go back to the drawing board on the teas.

Gotta try all the rest though...and there are so many! Saw they have a good selection of local brews on tap and wine too for when coffee needs to move over later in the day. I will definitely be back!
