I came here to sell off my Pokemon card collection. The owner is EXTREMELY kind and patient, and the employee Daniel is very knowledgeable. We had great conversation, and although I decided to keep my collection, I definitely found my go-to place for vintage video games!

Decent place, varied selection of stuff. Just messy and disorganized. Some of the staff can sometimes be rude. I sometimes come here to find some new Pokémon releases when I can’t get lucky at the big box retailers, as they do charge over retail for most products… but not as bad as some other places… when things get back to normal I may still support this local business with my hard earned money… maybe. Time and how they conduct business will tell.

Went a few months back and this store is so disorganized. I wasnt sure what could be purchased or not since there were so many books covered by tarps. The staff was nice and let me look around without pestering me. It could be so much better if it wasnt so sloppy.

Disorganized and cluttered. New comic release wall was messy, boxes of Backstock unmarked and in the way. Small section of older back issues tought to determine what was available to look through and what wasnt available to be touched. The store itself has so much potential. With the lack of brick and mortar stores in this current era its a shame.

The place was messy but that can be overlooked, they were catching up on work due to this world wide situation. What was a problem was how there was no indication of what can and cant be looked at. There were 2 people on staff however each one was on a different spectrum of customer service.The guy with the hat and glasses was super nice, friendly and helpful at the front desk. Told us the prices and the situation with the TCG. However the skinny bald(ing) guy was very unfriendly, I wanted to look at some cards but instead of letting me look through them, just told me what cards they were as if they were never to be touched or looked at.Was a bit rude to my girl who was looking through comics and told us what not to look at. The worst thing was him correcting the nice guy upfront on a price that seemed reasonable (15 above retail to 30) for a box set that clearly was to push new people away, which made the message very clear. We still made a smaller purchase to show some kindness and to get something minor we needed.We dont want to come back.We know when were not wanted.To the new people going up to see this shop, tread very lightly and be aware of the shop staff (mainly the skinny guy).

The store is nice place that you can feel the friendliness. When went with group the table had stuff on it because they were going through it but the put it on hold and moved it to another table that had stuff for going through clearing a spot for us.

Im more of an anime fan, so thats what I come for. But, they have a great selection of comics and memorabilia for my comic loving friends (￣ω￣;)

Time Warp is a classic NJ comic shop of note. Plenty of content to be found here, such as comics (old and new), trades, manga, figurines toys, games, etc. Time Warp is large and filled to the brim with goods - waiting for treasure hunters to find something of interest. Its a large store, and somewhat disorganized, which product all over the place. So expect to dig a bit. A very large portion of the space is devoted to gaming, which cramps the comic space a bit.Who knows what awaits you. But if you are in the Verona/Montclair area, this shop is worthy of a visit. Its an old school shop with modern offerings too. Check it out for yourself!

This is a fabulous Comic and Game shop! The owner is always helpful and willing to order anything not in stock, but he has an extensive stock of games and can help with recommendations. My favorite shop by far!

I walked in expecting to be greeted with a hello. I get yelled at by some older woman to use hand sanitizer. I’m sorry but I’m cleaner than that garage style store. You know what I’m not gonna insult people with neat garages. It’s a fire hazard. There are boxes in aisles less than 3 feet. I won’t go again. If you want a great experience head to Zapps or East Side Mags.

This is a great store. They have a large assortment of TCG like Magic and Pokemon. They also have an amazing inventory of comics, board games, and graphic novels and books. Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area. The staff is also super friendly.

Owners didnt help us at all. We had to ask them. And wouldnt let us know when the next item would be delivered. Only when a other man asked we got givin the information

Really nice store. Its a little cluttered, but the guy here was really nice and helpful. Went in for free RPG day and walked out with a bunch of games and some free swag. They have a mask policy and hand sanitizer is offered at the door so I felt safe browsing. Really glad this place is here and I expect to return, especially when they can hold in store or outdoor events.

Its a really cool comic shop. They have all kinds of collectables from comics, to figurines, statues, games, cards, novels, posters, basically anything you could be looking for.

I think its a great store it may be unorganized but the employees always know where stuff is so they can help you.Not going to lie there pokemon cards are a little expensive but they are worth it.There comic selection is amazing and the owner is always wiling to order you things.I like there spiderman comics but they have tons of comics board games and different types of cards and if you like magic the gathering its the right place for you.

I liked this place at first, but it’s super messy, boxes with no labels or anything are right by the books you’re allowed to look at, so instead of being organized (or at the very least, nice) they get upset when you look at something that has no sign or anything, how are you supposed to know? It’s not a bad place but one dude was pretty rude when you don’t know what you can and can’t look at ESPECIALLY since they’re next to each other. Don’t really wanna come back after that.

Good selection of games and dice. Wish the games were cheaper but thats already hard to do. The Guy once price matched me for the Amazon, while it wasnt as cheap he did knock 10 bucks off and I got the game that day instead of waiting 2 weeks for it to ship from another country. Awesome place.

While this is my favorite comic book store, they are absolutely not limited to comic books. They have manga, games, cards, visual novels, keychains, dice, stuffed animals, and so much more. There are even some nights you can come in and play various games. They also sell refreshments. It is truly a fun time.

The staff here is amazing and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Sometimes I come here just to browse the tabletop section and they are really friendly and not at all pushy. Ive played Magic and Pokemon here and the patrons are all really nice and welcoming. Ill always support this store.

What a store! It has everything, Pokemon and Magic singles, tabletop, board games, manga, comics, models and toys. Its honestly overwhelming when you enter.If you like any of the above this store is worth a visit.

I was passing through the area on a quiet Sunday, so I decided to stop by here as a first-time visitor. True to its store name, the store is stocked with a variety of popular board games, card games, role-playing books, comics, manga, and other pop-culture items (i.e figures). The items were organized in shelves and neatly maintained. The front of the store has a couch and chairs and the back of the store has a few tables. If you play Magic or Pokemon, there is a small number of singles in glass displays.The store also sold water bottles and Snapple drinks. At the time of my visit, the front couch had a D&D session going on, and the back table had players engaging in strategic board games. Dave, the owner, was present at the time, and I had a pleasant and informative 30-minute conversation with him about the general retail business of Pokemon and Magic from his perspective as an owner. The store was sold out of the latest Magic expansion that I was looking for, so I ended up just buying a bottle of water, but Dave was totally cool about it. In conclusion, the store has a good atmosphere, and nobody was trying to sell me anything. If youre in the area, you should check the place out.

Needed to get a new pull list after leaving my job in the city and they took the time to pull issues I was missing and set up for pulling in the future. Beyond that, they even told me they could help teach my son the Pokemon Card Game after overhearing my son talk about it.

Best Comic Book Store in New Jersey and dare I say even New York. Atmosphere and customer service is incredible. It has become a place where my imagination can take over. This is coming from someone, who has been to just about every comic shop in the tri state.

Long time staple for games and comics in Northern NJ, which is a testament to love for this store shown by the owners, staff and patrons who visit this store.

Ive been a customer now for over 20 years, since before they moved to their current location. Lots of other stores have come and gone in that time but Time Warp is still there. I think that should say it all. Hey, if they werent good they would have gone the way of so many other places long ago. They have comics, games, run plenty of events, and have a good-sized gaming area to play, all with decent prices, what more could you ask for.

They have almost any board game you could be looking for. And if they dont have it they will gladly order it for you. This is my go to spot for board games.

Great selection of products and a great amount of events for any type of gamer, but some events have been cancelled right before starting without warning, which can be frustrating. If you are just looking to shop, this is probably the best hobby shop in Northern NJ, but the events are not consistent.I would recommend Time Warp if you want TCG, Board Games, or Comics.

This is what you call a neighborhood comic store. It has aisles filled with board games and in the back about 5 tables for socializing and playing card games or board games with others. A safe haven for geeks. Bros need not apply.

When I first arrived, I was very excited, because there was a place within reasonable distance where I could get my models. Staff was helpful, kind and everything felt welcoming. Plenty of things to pick from the more known to the new things thatd find interest. Though, I had questions and unfortunately not enough time to ask or receive answers. Like would it be possible to trade warhammer 40k models, then I thought thatd be very unlikely. But i enjoyed my few visits all the same. I do, however, plan to visit them again to build up my Astra Militarum army. Either for the Temptus Scions or the potential of building more than a patrol detachment. Still, the atmosphere felt welcoming and I plan to visit in the future. Thank you, Time Waro Comics, for being a place I can geek out and gaze at your wide variety of comics, manga, games and models to choose from. I enjoyed your display of Warhammer AoS.P.S. Ive thought of attending your Thursday Warhammer events, but Im not sure how to feel with an unpainted patrol detachment.

GREAT store!! Always stocked with plenty of recent back issues, and NOT at ridiculously falsely-inflated prices. TONS of current books, mountains and shelves of trades and hardcovers, and more toys and cards and games than you can shake a stick at.But the coolest thing about this place is the staff and the customer base. It seems to be a very friendly and close-knit group, and very helpful. The staff is very knowledgeable, and the gaming crew there is polite, friendly, and genuinely seem to be having a great time. Theres no offensive language to embarass my family, no farting, yelling, etc. and the staff seems to have a good handle on things while staying engaged with customers. And they have a bathroom, something many of the lesser-quality stores do NOT share with customers.An overall awesome shop to visit, hang out in, and buy stuff in :)
