Everything about my experience here was 5 stars. I interacted with about 4-5 people and each one of them were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I looked at 4 places but ultimately returned here (first stop of the day) because no other car lot came to matching the deal. I was originally looking at used cars in the 15K range but walked out of there with a new car for just over 20K. They didnt talk me out of getting a used car but after I mentioned to them that I was hesitant to get a used car for 18K they brought out a 2021 Nissan Sentra SR for 22K with 47 miles on it. Driving to the other lots was pointless after that but I had to do my due diligence. I pulled out 2K down payment and went back to John Deery. I rolled over 100 miles yesterday and couldnt be happier.

Ive bought and sold twenty vehicles over the last 40 years, these guys are straight shooters, dealt fairly on my trade. I understand the numbers going in, I didnt have to battle to get the deal I wanted and they didnt try any of the dirty tricks in the finance office like is getting to be far too common at some establishments. I drove over an hour to get to them and will definitely look them up when Im ready to trade again. A class act!

I was looking for a car for my daughter. She is in Iowa, Im in Nebraska. Found a Taurus. Called John Deery because the listing said delivery available in her area. Ok, so... The call was answered by a young lady. I asked about the car. She knew nothing about it. I ask about were they were located from Jefferson iowa, she had no idea. So I said are you east or west of Jefferson, she had no idea. Ok, so looking at map if Iowa, are you east, west, north, south?? No idea. I said transfer to someone else that knows about the car. She said well before I can do that they ask that you are able to pick it up. Im like where??? Sioux falls Iowa. She transfered me to a guy who said he was 4 hrs away, no delivery. He as a salesman knew nothing about the car that was traded in, but it is listed online as deliverable and pics. Wow. Oh, I see the ratings for this company. I guess false advertising for location, and price. I got nothing.

Took my daughter to get a 2020 Camry. I was going to sign for it and they were polite and attentive. Problem here was they ran my credit with 4-5 banks and did so may hard pulls on my credit it when y down dramatically!! Even tho I kept on asking the sales man to make sure not to run my credit until I decide what I wanted. Careless to say they did this all while I was waiting to decide what my daughter wanted to do. Now my score is -38 because of it. Very upsetting. It would be nice that they inform you what they are doing and respect your wishes.

Personally they dont even deserve one star. They didnt even put the car through service and its about 4000 miles over the oil change and the tires are week and the sway bars on the front end make it sound like a Flintstone car every time I hit a bump. They say great service on the deal once signed but they wont back anything after the car is sold. Its pretty sad a dealership is fake like there cars and trucks are. Thank you for terrible service!

Very high rating for him ….I take two stars away from the rating for the guys in the paper signing office. They seemed preoccupied and less interested in taking my check and more interested in talking to other clients. One never even looked up other than to take the check finally. Never was even offered a chair the whole time I was in his office. My husbands last vehicle we found at Rydell in Waterloo and they were the best in all departments, from the sales floor (Beau) to the signing of the final papers. My first ever Nissan purchase started with a email note expressing my interest in talking to someone about a New 2020 Model Year Nissan Frontier Long Box Truck that I had found on the internet. I received a reply from Lee Tolbert asking how he could help. After some back and forth discussion with both Lee and his Manager Joel we made an agreement to meet the following saturday. Our price was agreed upon prior to me leaving Wisconsin and making the 4 hour journey to Cedar Falls Iowa the home of John Deery Motors. It was Extremely Cold that day but Lee made me feel warm in a Big Way by meeting me at the door with a Very Big Smile and Welcoming me to a hot cup of coffee. The business transaction went very smoothly and they had me back on the road for my 4 hour drive promptly. Lee was absolutely Great to work with.

I had an appointment today for 2:30 pm. I dropped my car off at 2:20 pm. All I needed was to find out why three different lights popped up on my dash at the same time on Tuesday morning. They took my keys and sent me to the waiting room, where I definitely waited. No one came to me until about 4:00pm! Not sure why I had to wait for so long for just a diagnosis, but its what happened. Maybe they dont keep to their appointments or dont care, but no one bothered to tell me what was taking so long. At about 4, a dude came and told me what was wrong with the car, and I agreed to a probable fix that would take about another hour. So, finally about 5:10, he comes and now tells me that my battery is suddenly bad and died. My car wouldnt start. I had to argue with him that its a new battery as of last year, and I was the one who removed all the stuff I had to in order to take the old one out, and put the new one in. I cleaned the terminals when I did this and put felt pads on. It should not have randomly died during this appointment. Maybe they had something on and running for the whole two and a half hours Ive freaking been here waiting, but it wasnt a faulty battery and I was not going to buy a new one now. Pretty big coincidence that it just died now. I told him to clean the posts up then and Ill wait for it, and it better start. There is no reason it shouldnt start unless they junked the battery while doing their diagnostics. Of course, thats gonna cost me, too. Miraculously it started after they did that. After they ran the battery out and I paid to clean it up, it started again. So, now Ive paid, and am waiting for some guy to bring my car around to me. I get in it and what now.... the low tire light is on. I 100% did not leave it with a low tire light, so here we go, another coincidence with a low tire now, or did they not reset the TPMS when they were done? After being thoroughly done with what Ive already had to put up with today, I take it to the gas station, and all my tires are fine. So, they didnt reset the light, and now I have to take more of my time to fix their mistake as I take it SOMWHERE ELSE to get it fixed, because God knows if I took it back there, then all of the sudden there would be a hole in my brake line, or some other expense to me. How do you pull a car around to a paying customer and just ignore that youve left the TPMS light on? I dont know what kind of an amateur place this is, but I am happy to never bring a vehicle back to John Deery Motors. I look forward to never buying a car from John Deery Motors. Im still flabbergasted at the incompetence I experienced with the service department. Waste of money, and a huge waste of MY TIME.
