Very detailed explanation of what my car showed in the scan they did and a very clear explanation about what to look for in the future. I had never gone to them before and I will be back.

The prices have risen and the services offered are the same, I could go to Walmart for half the price. Furthermore the tech who claimed to be an assistant manager was willing to put the wrong oil in my car and didnt even bother telling me it was the wrong oil, gave me options on a screen told me to pick, shocked at the price I picked the cheapest option only to find out by the manager after the fact that putting that type of oil in would have ruined my car. The only knowledgeable staff member there wear a green army cap with a medic logo everyone else there I felt didnt know squat. Personally will not return.

Recently moving here, I needed an oil change service. I have been extremely happy with this business. Since I have an older vehicle, it leaks oil a bit. They top it off for free whenever I need it. Valerie Kent and the other associates have been friendly, helpful and very efficient every time I’ve stopped by. In fact, I had them check my battery today. It was low, so Val was able to check stock, find the perfect one for my vehicle, and install it in record time! I love that I don’t need an appointment here. 5 Stars for sure!!! Thank you!!!!

Normally these guys are pretty great. Never will I ever get tires from these guys again. I have got tires from them once and they kept telling me to wait for it to come and it turned out weeks later they didn’t even order it. I just waited long enough and finally got them after a month. Well one of them popped and they were going to give me one as they are under warranty but I had to get a new rim. So I get the rim and they call me a week later like sorry we didn’t order your tire yet but it’s ordered now. I’m like cool it happened again. Whatever it’s free I just will remember when I need to buy new ones go somewhere else. Another week goes by and I call like hey where is my tire. The guy says lol I didn’t order it cause I was waiting for you to ge the rim. I’ve had the rim for two weeks and he literally called me saying he forgot to order it and then didn’t order it again. I just hung up on him cause it’s not worth it. I don’t want to play games with these guys anymore. I’ll just go to Firestone and eat the money cause it’s better then driving down my donut while these guys debate which direction is up.

Went in for an oil change and the guy at the desk told me they were giving me high mileage synthetic oil, which should be 5000 miles. Instead they gave me 3000 mile oil and charged me for the full synthetic. They gave me a list of other problems that I got a second opinion on and found out nothing was wrong. If you feel like paying 100 dollars for an oil change and being screwed over the whole time I would greatly recommend going to this jiffy lube. The employees were very nice though.

After they were finished, they drove around, got out, and I got in. I didnt know they left my key fob under the windshield wiper. Luckily I found the keys after tearing my truck apart looking for them. Even more lucky they didnt fall off my car on the drive home.

After agreeing to pay a specific price, midway through the repair they tried telling me the price was going to be $300 MORE than the initial price quoted because they ‘entered the codes wrong.’ I wouldn’t of agreed to even start service for that prices! Very sketchy!

Came to this location for a simple oil change when I was told they couldn’t do it because “the oil pump looks like it’s going out” which is something you can’t tell just by looking at it. They also said I was major oil leaks when there’s no spots where I park my car, my oil light has never been on, and my dipstick looked fine when I had checked it the day before. Another typical situation of people taking advantage of those who may not know everything about their car, especially if they’re female. Would not recommend this location at all.

They took down the last review I wrote so Ill go ahead and leave another one. I came here stating I only wanted an oil change. I dont know much about cars and I had a coupon for a $24 oil change so I went in because I needed it immediately. They mentioned that they would vacuum my car and I told them I didnt want them to. They did it anyway, did not honor the coupon, and put in a new air filter without asking me about it first. I ended up spending almost one hundred dollars when I only planned on spending about 25. Not only that, but the waiting room was cramped and absolutely disgusting. There were flies all over and dead bugs all over the ground and in the window sills. The quality of the inside of the store reflects the quality of the service you will receive at this location.

Wont ever use again the price was 150 for an oil change granted there was a $24 filter understandable but when I was expecting maybe 55 for an oil change and it was 150 never again 🤬

The guys that work there... sheesh... Very very professional! Makes me feel worth my wait! They work quick. Not pushy. But they made sure you know your vehicle. Im impressed with their service... coming from Florida. Great place!

2🌟= disliked and 3🌟= its okay. It was very convenient. A quick in and out. You tell me what youd put. They change oil. I was the only customer. I asked if they reset oil light and they said they did with no problem. All synthetic service was around $70 ($30 more than I expected). Service lasted around 15 min. Doing another errand before going home noticed oil light NOT RESET. Not a huge deal but aggravating expecting something to be done and it wasnt. Id have to get manuel out to look up how to in my 16 Hyundai but at this point its just annoying paying for something that shouldve been done, expecting it and it wasnt.

My first experience here wasn’t a good one, but I spoke with the manager he came up with a reasonable solution I was happy with. I decided not to come to jiffy lube anymore-well today I had no other option because of time constraints. I went to jiffy lube & man am I happy I did! The staff took such good care of me. They were extremely fast & efficient. I will be back! Corey took such good care of me. Definitely recommend him!

The two employees I interacted with were very pleasant and happy to help and didnt pressure me with upsells past the point of what is required of them by their employer. The negative reviews are from people who are either incredibly impatient or expect the world to bend over backwards for them. Have used this location before and will again.

I’ve come to this jiffy lube the last 5 years I’ve lived in Cedar Falls. Oil changes, rotations, everything. Being a college student my family is 4 hours away. Today I was stuck in a very sticky situation, the employees here were kind, generous, and helped me when I had no where to go. I will always recommend this jiffy lube to anyone, and I will continue to be a customer for as long as I’m in the cedar valley area.

I dont think the overall rating captures how great of a place this is. I dont usually leave reviews, but I sincerely think they deserve 5 stars. They did my oil change in 15 minutes and vacuumed my floors, adjusted my tire pressure, cleaned my windows, and topped up my window washing fluid for free. They were not pushy about upselling At All! He politely asked if I would like to hear reccomendations based on my car manufacturers guidelines and I ended up sticking with just my oil change and he respected my decision, I felt no pressure. I will go back to them!

During my oil change, someone from the shop popped in several times to tell me that I needed new brake pads, new battery, and some kind of winterization. He tried to scare me into getting new pads because the rotors will get damaged which would cost much more than the $180 he quoted (which a guy in the waiting room explained to me that was PER brake). He also told me that I better change my battery just in case it leaves me stranded somewhere. I took my SUV to the Honda dealership to change my brake pads and they said the pads did not need to be changed and could last another 70,000 miles! Unfortunately, the gal before me took their advice and her oil change cost her over $600.

They showed me my air filter which was slightly dirty and I told them I didnt want it replaced. They threw the old one nearly where it belonged and didnt close the filter case. They also left the rubber seal laying against my alternator belt. This quality of work is offensive.

I went to get an oil change at 9am and I was asked to come back later because there was only one employee there. I just don’t get it. Don’t have your open sign on if you’re going to refuse services. They were also out of headlights. How? I will never be going back. Their service is horrible and they can never give you want you want.

Charged a bunch of extra services without approving with customer. Answer was oh well still beneficial and made customer pay. Buyer beware. They will rip you off.

I could rate it higher but I dont like the way they try to push you to buy overpriced add ons. Yep its a business and they have to find ways to make money but pushing me to buy an air filter for $30 that costs $11 at Walmart is not my idea of fair. Make sure you look for coupons before you go. Service is fast and friendly enough other than the awkwardness of having to navigate around the many additional charges you could incur.

I wish I could give zero stars. Got my oil change done here and you get a free inspection (including brakes). I asked if they check the break pads and he said of course. I then asked why he didn’t tell me my break pads are completely gone (my guy friend noticed this a week after). He said “oh we might not have done the inspection, it’s a hit or miss because you’re not paying for the inspection.” !?!?!? When you go out to eat and get FREE breadsticks, it’s not a hit or miss if they are cooked or not since you’re not paying for them. I don’t know a ton about cars but I do know about customer service and they don’t have any. Also, when I got my oil change they rang me up then said “oh we thought you were the owner of the red car” so they had to do a return and then rering me up. I wasn’t mad about this, it happens, but they then called me when I got home telling me I never paid. Are you serious?! I got rang up twice already!!! Then they told me to come back and I didn’t pay. I usually don’t look at reviews on places, but I should have known when I saw 2 stars.

Called two other places before I called the Jiffy Lube in Cedar Falls, they were rude on the phone and the wait time was insane. Brandi who answered the phone at Jiffy Lube was very professional and polite! I needed my front brakes done as well, with the older vechicle I have they could not use there lift in fear of damaging my car. The manager Chad worked it out with one of his team members for him to run home on his lunch break and grab a floor jack to get me taken care of. I had a bunch of errands to run and we had scheduled a time to bring my car back Monday. After thinking on it has I left I decided to call back and see if they could still do it today. Chad was very helpful and said that would be no problem. 1st time at this location very impressed with the service I recieved and will be back for sure! Thank You!!!

I had to get my brakes worked on and I took it here because it was the only place in town I had been before. They had my brakes working, but they sounded off. Took it back and they couldnt find out the problem and they had to bring someone else in. So I had to take it back again and they were able to figure it out what was wrong that time. They did somewhere around 5 hours of extra work and didnt charge me a penny. Glad to have a place I can trust.

I will never go back to this Jiffy Lube again. I have been using them for the past year and have never had a good experience. I have watch them take advantage of a woman, by telling her she need many different things done to her vehicle and then it took them over an hour to change my oil. At this same visit when I ask them to rotate my tires, they said they did not have enough time, because of this other vehicle they need to make a lot of repairs on. Another time when they did rotate my tires it took over an hour for the service to be completed. during the hour 4 other oil changes were completed before my tires were rotated and only after I complained did they start working on my vehicle again. Most recently, I just wanted an oil change and I knew there was a headlight out, so I ask them to change it. Again it took over an hour to change the oil and a light bulb. There is nothing quick about this dingy facility. Also, watch out for add-ons, they really like to ask you if you would like them to do something, but they do not tell you that it will cost extra until it is time to pay the bill. I will never go back to this place.

Loved their service

I pulled in on a Monday mid afternoon with 3 open bays and 3 employees...the guy points out the bathroom the free coffee the newspaper and magazines - nice opening...they pulled in a car ahead of me and I thought, They will pull mine in soon, they have 3 people out there. WRONG!! 30 minutes later the guy comes in and gets my money charged on my card signed for etc. and all the time telling me what they were and were not going to do...glad to finally get going - all good...WRONG!! 5 minutes later the guy comes in says they are afraid to take the oil plug out because it is in so tight - wanted to blame whoever changed it last...thought it was stripped out ....the guy refunds my money and 45 minutes after pulling in, I pulled out with nothing but aggravation...so...drive down to Dan Deery Toyota and go in... Yes sir can we help u?...do you have an appt?(no)...well, we will see if we can work you in... 30 minutes later I am driving away - $5.00 cheaper than what Jiffy Lube had charged me...I see Jiffy Lubes rating is 2.7... Dan Deery Toyota is rated 4.4...believe Google reviews...never again Jiffy Lube....never again!

Absolutely terrible. Customer service was great because they know there going to screw you over. I went in for an oil change and I had a coupon for $20. I go in and they tell me that the oil is going to be $60 and I asked why and they proceed to tell me its part of the deal and I read the coupon and no where on it does it say I need to pay for oil. And my coupon they only took $18 off my total. Just a bunch of crooked shady people and business. I would recommend never going here again for anything.

If I could give them zero stars I would.Well, the workers were awful. I am a college aged girl so they assumed I know nothing. They tried to force me to get and pay for synthetic oil when my car takes conventional oil.They tried to give me an old battery test from a different car and told me my car would not start the next day unless i purchase a new battery (by the way, my car did start the next day). Second of all, they tried to make me buy an air filter even though the one I had in my car was barely dusty and not dirty at all. Third of all, they tried to tell me I needed my fuel system cleaned out because I was getting poor mileage when I’m reality a full tank of gas gets me over four hundred miles. Also, not only did they try to con me out of my money the old people were also asking me way to personal of questions about where I live and where I was going and all sorts of things. I hated that experience more than any other jiffy lubes or other locations I have been to!!!!

When I arrived, was today minimum 25-35 wait time. One single car was in bay.I left went to Deery. Done in 23 min.

This place screws you over...especially if youre a girl - but I know my cars.The last time I went there, I had a coupon for $24.99 oil change with filter included. 5 quarts, and my trailblazer needs 7, so obviously Ill pay for the other 2 quarts. It came out to $65. When I asked them how, they stated that the oil filter was not included, even though the coupon said so. They said unfortunately there was nothing they could do. I ended up going to John Deery Motors on University. Cost me $29.99 and then with a survey they offer you get $10 knocked off.They also tried telling me all this stuff needed repaired that I knew for a fact did not....and to change my bulbs for outrageous prices. I told them Id go to Walmart, buy the bulbs, and change them myself. The guy, stunned, goes and you know how to do that?....really?

Went twice first time told them basic oil change the cheapest one you have got back said they vacuumed my car and said that will be $40 I told them I didnt want them to do that and had to argue to get to the price I was quoted of $25. Second time went there told them explicitly cheapest oil change and nothing else got back said that will be $70 I refused to pay and got it down to about $35 even though the coupon I had said $25. On top of that I got in my car and everything had oil on it (steering wheel, shifter,door). I will never go back. This is a classic car place that is trying to duck you over every chance they get.

Absolute worst place ever!!! Ive only ever had my oil changed there twice and both times they failed to reattach the skid plate. The service team has no idea what they are doing. DO NOT bring your car here its expensive, slow, and just plain out a terrible experience. You could bring them a brand new car and they would recommend a new air filter, radiator cap and an engine flush. Oh and your battery needs to be replaced to its only 9 more dollars. You have one job that you do everyday and you still cant do it properly. Place should be out of business.

I pulled in at 5:30pm (30 minutes before they closed) 2 of the 3 bays were empty but they told me they couldnt get me in. Only a joke of a jiffy lube would not have enough staff on hand to handle more than one car.

Not too pleased...My wife (Julie Borunda) and I went to the Cedar Falls location for a simple oil and filter. We just bought the vehicle (04 Trailblazer) that had plenty of work to do on it that the dealer was going to remedy. We just needed oil and filter because the oil in the engine was old. The next thing we knew, we were charged nearly 50.00, but instead of saying anything, decided we would just not go back. But later, and after the expensive service I just received, the coolant was extremely low, P/S fluid low, and only and average of 22 PSI in tires that require 42 PSI. In essence, this signature service ended up costing me twice as much as it should have, as nothing was done although the sales person said all these things would be done. She said that the price included topping fluids, tires checked and windows and vacuuming, but I told her no because the vehicle was spotless, just being detailed. Her attitude became rather uncomfortable when the first thing done (within 30 seconds) trying to sell me an air filter. Remember: 96% of unhappy customers dont complain, however 91% of those will simply leave and never come back. I seriously doubt complaining will do me no good, either, but as a networker and writer, I am certain many will hear about this encounter.

When got there was no place to park but front of an open stall, employee jumped out of a vehicle and looked pissed thrusting his hand in motion like to get the hell out of there with attitude. when done, I got in and radio channel was changed, seat adjusted, grease all over door, steering wheel had oil on it, and then I looked over and there was oil all over the passenger seat, on a shirt I had hanging there, all over the inside of the door, and outside of window, also outside of door. looked like a poor attempt to clean it. A different dude came out and sprayed WD40 on it to clean it off. I later was still cleaning oil off the vehicle and it smells like oil. Very unprofessional. Left me in a very bad mood. Doesnt deserve the one star I have to give it to post this.
