YIKES! Ive been in many Dollar General stores over the years, but this is by far the worst. It was an absolute disaster & I have 5 kids so thats saying something. Nothing was where it belonged, no prices, & stock blocked over half the isles. To top it off i was charged twice for & the valentines items were 50% off & rang up 25% off. I didnt have time to check my recipt due to them locking the doors 10 minutes early and I had to leave immediately. Definitely need someone in there to organize. When I was at the back of the store I (and other customers) could hear employees cussing and arguing in the back.

I love this dollar general always nice and clean!!!!

The cashier was very pleasant and quick at check out. Also, I think she knew a little Spanish which helped with the customers ahead of me. Great job!

The store in sandy run south Carolina is this pits boxes all over the isiles.i went into the store a couples days ago .the isle was blocked so i ask the the young lady I couldnt get around all these boxes.she told me I have to go around.attiude was very bad.shelves are not stocked always enpty.

Very bad poor customer service talking on cellphones while working at cash register & rude to customers. I was a regular daily customer will never shop there again. I was waiting in line she shut down cash register while I was waiting in line wit out exclamation. I thought that was kinda rude so I asked politely for a apology. She blew up in my face saying I dont have to apologize to you. She did not even realize what she did wrong. Both employees & mangers did not have a mask on & no name tags on.She kept making the situation worst instead of trying to sooth or calm down the situation. Then she threatened to put a trespassing warrent on me for that store. I was trying to end conversation and leave it alone. She kept arguing trying to instigate the hole thing. She was suppose to be a so called manager but she did not handle it professionally at all. So I paid for my stuff and left. All I wanted was a simple Apology could not understand why she blew up in my face.

This is the worst Dollar General in Columbia. Its dirty, extremely poor customer service. Never has products stocked to shelves. NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!!!! DOESNT DESERVE A NEGATIVE 🌟

Great store, great prices and cute clothes.

Had one poor girl running register and was backed up down the aisle....the manager was putting stuff on the shelf and when asked if she was going to help she said no.... shes quick she will get the line down quick.....needless to say several people walked out leaving their stuff sitting with the manager that was too busy to help!

Went in this Dollar General to purchase a styrofoam cooler. Was told they were sold out. Was trying to make a quick way to cool refreshments for nephews wedding. I was still was going to purchase trash bags..but needed them to supply a cardboard box. The manager informed me they had no cardboard box as she is packing up cardboard boxes. Needless to say... I went to Family Dollar to get cooler and bags.

Friendly employees dont find that much anymore. Wish I could remember cashiers name she is very sweet and her son is a sweet heart!

The staff was friendly and they helped with any questions and gave good, honest answers.

Think theyre going out of business or something. Past several weeks shelves have been empty and not stocked; had to go to Family Dollar to get what l wanted.

This is the neatest, cleanest and staff friendliest location. Other newer locations like Sandy Run are cluttered with restocking carts in every isle and shelves are cluttered and messy. I love Dollar general for certain products. Papper products are great.

I went in to do a return and then make a purchase for the items I needed to get. The associate completely messed up the return. Then proceeds to complain that she cant the fact that I even had a return. The second associate was just coming on to work and she dumps her mistake onto this girl who knew nothing about what was going on. I wont buy from this store anymore if the only cashier is that rude associate.

The store was filthy and dirty, when I walked in the employees were standing around talking. I bought a few things that I needed and left. When I went back yesterday to pick up a few things I had seen that I forgot the day before. I went to check out and my husband texted me to tell me not to purchase anything yet because he hadnt gotten paid as expected. I asked for it to be closed and left. I went back today with cash to purchase those items. As I was shopping the Manager RUDELY asked me if I had gotten my issues with my card fixed. I said yes, thank you and she walked away laughing. I got a call from my son that he needed to be picked up from school so I put the items I had in my cart back and went to leave. The two employees followed me out the door making rude comments about me pretending to be on the phone, shouting at me from the door, ridiculing and insulting me! It was absolutely humiliating and Im very angry at these so called grown women! Do DONT go to this store!! Not only is it still filthy and organized, the employees are rude and disgusting!

I love DG, I visit DGsometimes 3times a day, its definitely the neighborhood store, lex than 3 minutes away from the house!!! Gotta love the convenience!

Have been shopping at this DG for the last 2 years. Always a wait at register but Ive come to accept that. I use coupons all the time and havent ever had a problem till last week. Was told that they no longer take more than one coupon for multiple purchases of same item. Ive been shopping there 2 years and never been had a problem. Went to another DG and they didnt have a problem taking my coupons. I ask them about what the other store said about coupons and they told me theyve never heard of that and the policy for one store is the same for all. Not sure why I was denied using coupons all the sudden but I will just go to the store that does. After 2 years shopping there, I will no longer be shopping at that location. If I need something real quick I will go to the Family Dollar across the street instead. Very disappointed but there are 3 more DGS close enough fir me to go to another store instead.
