Alyssa was fabulous!! Learning everything there is to know about selling, setting up and transferring files etc...on a new phone is not easy. Alyssa was super comfortable walking me through everything required and got me out the door with a fully functional phone and a smile on my masked face. Thanks for the great customer service.

Cant listen to save their life, overcharged me after telling them the amount I was paying on four separate opportunities only for them to still charge me the incorrect amount and not even fix it, really poor customer service and one of many poor interactions with the employees here.

Jennifer was a huge help. Had went to the Verizon store in San Leandro to activate my IPhone 7 after the charging port in my 8 stopped working. All they tried to do in San Leandro was try to sell me an IPhone 12. When I asked to activate my 7, they tried to tell me that, because of 5g, my iPhone 7 was no longer going to work. Further trying to sell the 12. I insisted that I had two working LTE phones and one must work at least. They disagreed. Upon arriving to the Castro valley Verizon, Jennifer had no issues activating my iPhone 7. She never tried to sell me a thing. Can’t thank her enough!

Highly recommend coming to this store. Thomas and his trained team of professionals are top notch. Went to the store to setup a Business account, and noticed that a customer was screaming at the manager in his face, even though it had nothing to do with him or his store, he handled it very professionally. He seemed younger but very mature, and from what he told me, he was running two Verizon stores. This guy has lots of talent and will be a valuable asset to Verizon.

The sales representative are not helpful at all. My SIM card was defective and I need to have a replacement. This sales representative come up and said that I have to activate the sim by my self calling the customer service. I mean come on I work at sales representative for long long years. I know what you doing just try to take a nap in the store. Then I have to call customer service for 30 minutes to activate a sim. I know is a third party store but is bad

Ive been to many different Verizon stores, and the service they offer is mediocre, but I was helped by the representative named Thomas, and this guy was incredible. My wife and I were upgrading our phones and he did tremendous work, not only did he put on 4 screen protectors perfectly in like 20 seconds, but this guy was helping another rep who was having issues processing a transaction and was answering phone calls that came to the store at the same time. I have never in my 75 years of living seen a man who can multitask like this and not break a sweat and be smiling at the end of his shift. This man is a Legend and deserves a raise and a promotion!

I came in twice this week to get help on my new phone, and when I walked in there was an absurd amount of flies in the store, not to mention I was standing on maggots. This was completely unsanitary and disgusting. I will never be coming back to this store again.

It’s intimidating to go phone shopping because I’m not that great with technology and I know I’ll be spending a lot of money. But since Thomas was chill and knew a lot more that I do, it wasn’t that bad at all.

I came in to see if I could fix or replace a phone I broke, and one of the employees named Thomas was the best. He was able to pay off the remaining balance I owed on my cell phone and was able to lower my monthly bill with getting a new LG Phone. I’ve never been to a Verizon store where that has happened. Will always come back to this location! Thomas was the best! 10 stars if I could!

Ordered a phone online and picked it up at the store, even though I didn’t purchase it through the store, the sales rep Thomas went above and beyond and got me setup with an accessory bundle at a discounted price and put the screen saver on. Will start purchasing my products through the Castro Valley location instead of online because Thomas was phenomenal!

I came here in October 2017 because my Galaxy S5 stopped taking a charge and I was thinking it was time for an upgrade anyway. Adrianna helped me decide on upgrading to the S8 an did an excellent job. She was able to transfer all data from my old phone and even restored lost contacts that seemed to randomly disappear after each software upgrade. I left and came back in an hour and my new phone was good to go. Great service from Adrianna!

I went here to add my fiancé to my account and we got amazing customer service. We had an issue with AT&T not allowing us to have my fiancé’s phone number moved over to Verizon, but in the end Faith and Seyar made it happen and she loves her new yellow IPhone. I recommend this store for anyone who’s getting new service or adding a family or partner. Thank you

Just wanted to stop by to ask about upgrading our plan. The hours said its open on Sunday, the open sign was lit up. As we walked up the door was locked with a hand-written in highlighter sign that said Be back in 45 minutes. What the heck?! 45 minutes from when? Turn the open sign off! I thought this was supposed to be a professional business, but I guess not.

Went to upgrade my phone and renew my contract. They didnt have the phone I wanted in stock, so they ordered it for me. I told them I would come pick it up on Sunday (ordered on a Wednesday). They say no problem. I Get a phone call Friday letting me know my phone is there. Once again, I say I will pick it up Sunday, am told that its no problem. Come Sunday, I go to pick up my phone, and the store isnt open. I try to find out when they are open, since I twice said I would be picking up this phone Sunday, and was twice told it would be no problem. There are no hours for the store posted, and when I tried to call the store to find out their hours, their message is, No one is available to take your call. Please try again. So, after having already given these jokers over $300, I cant get a straight answer as to when theyre open, so Im kinda irked.

I have no idea about the negative reviews, but I came in and a delightful young lady was already helping someone with her phone. She proceeded to be helping the customer, talking to the technician on the Verizon service help line AND helping me put a screen saver on ALL WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE. Very professional and out in no time flat!

I did business with this place and deeply regret it. I’ll attempt to keep my comments factual and not emotional. You can draw your own conclusions.This is NOT Verizon Wireless. While the big sign out front says “Verizon Wireless Store”, the name of the company is actually “Wireless Store”.It took a total of 4 hours and three trips to get us setup between ordering the phones and making a second trip to pick up and activate the phones. They do not stock phones. They order on demand. They did not give me an invoice for the order and promised to mail it. They did not.Another 2 hours to troubleshoot my Samsung Note (Camera Failed).Had to make 4 trips to replace one phone.They had to inspect my phone before they would even order the replacement causing another trip to the store.When they finally had my replacement phone I was told I could not replace the broken phone because I threw away the original packaging. They told me I could get a refurbished phone. When I asked why I wasn’t told this before, verbally or in writing, I was told that all businesses require original packaging. Having done business with the real Verizon Wireless company, I know that they do not require original packaging. Additionally I was told that I needed the original invoice. When I reminded her that she never mailed me one she printed it for me on the spot.I asked for the manager’s boss’ contact info and was told that they could not give out that information but that they would have him call me. That didn’t happen. I asked again and the manager said they she did not have a boss at the moment. I asked for the next level higher and she again told me that she could not give out that information but that she would have them call me. No calls to date.On five different occasions I did not receive a call from the store manager when she promised to call. Ten times I tried to call her and did not received a call back. Multiple calls were answered with the following two messages:- “The Mailbox Number you are trying to reach is not in service. Goodbye”- “Hello, no one is available to take your call. Please call again.”In the end, because my wife and I had the same phone I was able to use her packaging. The Manager had to get special permission from “Corporate” to allow this.Summary:Total Time spent: 12 hoursTotal Calls: 14Total Calls not Responded to: 10Total Trips to the Store: 7Days between the camera problem reported to replacement: 19Follow up calls on my satisfaction as a customer: 0They still owe me a receipt for the exchange of phones and a protective glass cover. I’m not holding my breath.
