On 10/31/21 a manager named Christian refused to accept a legal form of ID in the state of Colorado from my wife. We have shopped at Bubbles for years, Randy the store manager has always promoted a great service culture at the store so I’m not sure where they found this guy. I asked him to please call Randy and he simply said “nope” and smiled at me. He said you can talk to the store owner, to which he did not provide any contact information. As I paid for our items and was leaving I told the cashier to have a wonderful evening, I then looked at Christian and said will be speaking soon, to which he snidely replied “probably not.” with his arms folded. Three major problems for the ownership of Bubbles: #1. There are simply too many options for any type of good or service for poor customer service, you will lose customers, and #2. This manager was rude, conceited and arrogant, which is probably a bravado to make up for a lack of any type of ability, but the real tragedy is he did it all in front of at least 2 of your line level employees. Awful example setting obviously. Finally #3, we are understanding people but not everyone is, not accepting a legal form of ID will eventually land you in a legal environment.

I’ve been to several liquor stores in my lifetime but I have to say, this particular store in Castle Rock is surprisingly outstanding at many levels. First, the store is huge with many assortments and liquor / wine selections. Second, the store is very clean and highly maintained, It is very inviting once you enter the facility. Third, the staff and employees are very courteous and respectful and if you need any assistance or need help finding something (because the store is huge), they are quickly at your service. Lastly, the store adheres to COVID guidelines ensuring that employees and shoppers are wearing their masks and that social distancing is followed. You can’t go wrong by coming here, I highly recommend this place to others. Like and follow if you find this helpful.

Good selection of wine and spirits. Lots of local breweries and distilleries featured here. The one thing I think this place needs to do is take better care of/pay more attention to the quality of cigars, lighters and cutters that they have. I tried to buy a cigar lighter and neither the cashier or THE MANAGER knew anything about their own product. No one knew how to ring it up or how much it should cost. Almost as if they were surprised to find out they sold cigars. I ended up telling them how much the lighters cost which isnt how its supposed to work. And the cherry on top? The lighter I bought doesnt work! As someone who puts the proper time and care into high quality cigars, I would say do everything you can to go to a cigar shop and dont even bother wasting your money on cigars here. Buy all the booze you want but do not expect anything but cheap, dried out cigars from this place.

This used to be a stop every time I went through Castle Rock. Huge selection and great rewards program.I am giving them 3 stars though because their beer cave used to be one of the best in the area, but now it’s not even worth it because the selection is minimal and basic. I’m better off going to my local liquor store which is half the size but has 10x the selection of unique craft beers.Don’t know what happened to them, but I hope they fix it soon.

Always well stocked with a massive selection of alcohol. They also have a humidor cigar room. It is quite a small cigar room but has a decent selection for a liquor store. The staff is always very friendly and efficient as well.

Went to the store to use a gift card i was given. I frequent the store often and have membership (in most other establishments having a confirmed membership does not require id, CO law is pretty generous in their laws to allow a transaction). I went in quickly to grab liqour for a party. It was my gf and i. I had two wine bottles. She walked off grab a container of overpriced kettle chips. The cashier requested both ids. She left her physical id but had a digital copy which the cashier said no. We left no argument. Obviously im still perturbed. ;) Here is the problem CO law has no requirement for age verification to card. CO also does not require a person to have a physical card to be served alcohol. Establishments are allowed to have persons over the age of 18; of course they can not purchase. So if a person that is purchasing the liqour produces a card they can be sold the liqour. If the other person shows that she has a digital copy of card that meets the requirement w/ photo/ exp/ issue,gov issued there should be no problem as the requirement of the establishment to show they conducted all requirements to prevent sell to a minor thus not in violation or held responsible. I am mainly upset that while in the store i saw multiple people that had others purchase items with the 2nd person not get carded. Also the store has multiple signs but does not mention all parties will be carded. Most people qoute that they cant sell because of State law, but the State nor the various commissions have any regulation regarding the sell of liqour with parties of various ages with you; point, that are clearly over the age of 18. Ultimately do better. Train better, and if it is a store policy, state in your signage store policy not State or county. I also would question what will be policy as more counties/ cities are going to digital ids. Most areas; as usual, around Castle Rock are already accepting. Other than that large store with various selection helpful and willing staff; annoyingly sometimes, but appreciated. Popular brand liqour store wont really find rare finds or popular local brands even, maybe due to their older customer base and the bland area.

Best place ever. Wine tasting, tons of cool stuff and of course, the introduction to the greatest Sparkling Red EVER (and I dont like reds) called The Blood Of Judas, bottle all in Italian with an amazing story to go with it!I love this place!

Amazing store. I go there every time I am in town, but not for the reason one might think. Sure, they have an incredible selection of wine. Sure it’s conveniently located just off the highway. But I go there for the wine manager Randy. He is an awesome wealth of knowledge, always willing to help you select the perfect wine or educate you about the wonderful world of wine.~I quite literally go to Bubbles for the sole purpose of learning from Randy. This is the largest liquors store that I advanture so far in Colorado. I love there decoration a lot. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Many alcohol collection since it is world collection. Highly recommended

I was double charged $125, Bubbles is aware of it but will not help. It has been 3 weeks and still no refund even after multiple phone calls to multiple managers. Worst customer service I have ever experienced

Not a great scotch selection for its size. Mid level scotches at best, 10-12 years. A display case with a handful of more rare scotches but even in the case, the selection was unexpectedly limited.

It’s a liquor storeThe prices are reasonable and it’s close to me but their Missing some of the great Local micro brews from Colorado.The employees don’t want to be there, and I dont blame them.Hours are terrible and they often close earlier then what is posted.Really takes the fun out of drinking, it’s like a Costco but for booze. I asked for a martini glass and the employee gave me an unsolicited tour of the store. We walked around for about 5 minutes trying to find it, they didn’t have it. No real local knowledge of what their selling. It’s just a sterile Corporate environment Liquor store, so it just depends on the employee you ask in the moment as far as knowledge or service. I will go back.

OK. They have everything. Amazing craft beer? Yes. An excellent selection of bombers and sour beers? Yes. Good beer? Yes. Wine? Yes. Scotch? Yes. Cigars? Yes.And if you drink beer which you has terrible super bowl ads they have that too. I wont judge if you buy it. I might mock slightly.

I went in hoping to find Saki but aimlessly wondered without luck or assistance. I could have asked for help but after wondering around myself for a few, I just needed to get out of there and grabbed some wine. Asked them for some empty wine boxes for the move. They told me NO! They are all for their customers. They had a whole wall full to the ceiling. The staff is very VERY attentive here. I was asked a minimum of 8 times if I was finding everything ok. The wine specialist, Heather, was very kind and adept at pointing out great selections based on my taste palate. They have a huge selection of just about anything people in this area would look for. Thank you Bubbles staff for being so wonderful!

Staff isn’t very helpful. I have been looking for a hard to find liquor and drove 30 minutes to see if they had it. They said they didn’t, asked if they could order it, they said no and the best thing to do was check on Tuesday AM.I called Tuesday AM before I left to see if they by chance had gotten in and they said they couldn’t tell me over the phone. I drove 30 minutes again to check and when I got it they said no. I asked if there was a better way to work with them to find out when it would be available and they said no... they really didn’t seem to have any desire to help me.Good selection, horrible service.

The selection is great. Anytime Ive wanted to special order a keg, the staff has gone out of their way to make sure I get what Im asking for. They follow up with calls to make sure I know when my order is ready to pick up.They have a great deal of knowledge when it comes to keg beer.

First let me say, I love wine stores. One should always feel good leaving one. Id like to say I felt good leaving here. But I cant. Just based on the selection, this place would get a higher rating. The wine selection isnt bad. Id never been here and Im not from Castle Rock and looked forward to visiting. And all but one employee were delightful, which is where my bad experience stems from and the reason I will not be back. I went in looking for syrah and quickly found 3 decent bottles. Their domestic selection isnt big but functional. I then drifted to the Italian selection because I like it. Randy, a manager, approached and asked if I needed help. I said I came in for Syrah and he interrupted and said you know youre in Italy? It was said rudely, but I brushed it off as sarcasm. I laughed and said Yup, but I like it and I got 3 bottles of syrah, pointing to my cart. I then mentioned we spend time in Italy and I have a relationship with a particular winery where I take students. He of course knew it and rolled his eyes and made a derogatory sound and started criticizing the wine label and said they couldnt move it because of the label. I barely knew what to say, especially since I had just said the owner was good to my students. He continued maligning. It was awkward. I encountered him a few more times throughout the store and the interactions got worse. At one point I almost told him he was being rude and condescending. Now Im not a wine professional. Far from it. I dont pretend to be.. But I love it and like to learn and have always had great conversations with other wine fans (or makers, importers, sommeliers). I was flustered at this point in a trip I had looked forward to and got northern Rhone confused with Southern. He was practically giddy at my mistake. Ive been in some decent restaurants and wine shops. No one tops this guy in being a jerk. Sadly, I wont be back.

Theres a lot of hooch here. This is one of the largest liquor stores in all of Colorado. Many single malt whiskeys as well as wine in a box. Beer, beer, beer. National, local brews even far eastern brands. This is a good place for any difficult to find hard stuff. They sell a lot in half gallon containers too.

I ordered kegs for my wedding. They said it would not be an issue. 3 days before they call me and tell me the wrong kegs came (it happens). I have been their customer for years. They manage to tell me they have only one kind now that I have never had... I ask Dale the manager if there is any type of discount he can give me since they made the mistake and I have never tried the beer. Dale said NO not a chance. Pretty rude about it. They will lose me a long time customer over the cavalier attitude and disrespect.

This was my first time in a Bubbles. Wow. What a supercenter. On this occasion, I was on a mission for specific kinds of liquor and beer. This is definitely a place you could come and browse. Wide aisles, nice clean facility. Not knowing the lay of the land, I was able to quickly find and engage with several employees who were very knowledgeable and helpful. I was visiting from WI, but if I was a local, this would be my new one-stop-shop for all my alcohol needs. Thank you very much for the awesome service.

I was in this establishment the other day and I really like the sign that said that the mask mandation is my choice they did not deny me service today I called just to find out if they were making people wear masks and they told me yes I will never shop in your liquor store again because I believe its my choice also I have a health condition that allows me not to wear a mask and I believe you pushing that on me is a health risk
