Kevin is my go to man whenever my Jeep needs work done, I’ve had some bad experiences with shops around town. And these guys will never try push you into un needed repairs and will always get the job done right the first time. I bought my own oil and filter. After I got home I had second thoughts. Im 86 and probably should not be under my car. I called Double D and they wee very willing to do the job. Our favorite place to have work done on our cars sold to a new ownership and we had used Double D in the past to get some custom machine shop work done on our pro street Camaro. Since they did a great job on that project they were our next choice because our other choice was not available. The work was done above industry standard and they even gave us a discount on the work order. I would recommend them to anyone looking for service work.

Took them 2 days to finish a simple job asked them what the total will be tells me 420 before they start fixing my van after 2 days of waiting around and loosing my time for work they tell me I had to pay almost 600!$

They do a good job communicating status of the repair. And, theyre highly respectful of my wife when she takes her car in for a needed repair. You wont go wrong doing business with Double D. Had a great experience with this company. Had the blower replaced in my heater/AC in my Dodge Ram. Got a quote reflecting what would be the worse outcome and a quote reflecting what would be the best outcome. I got the truck back in 2 days fixed and working. Straight forward and respectful type of people.

Kevin, the owner was wonderful and even followed up with me a week later to see if everything was okay. Very honest and did not try and up sell me for more work than was needed, much appreciated. I’m relatively new to the area, and wouldn’t you know it my vehicle decided it was a great time to breakdown. I looked at a few places in the area and Double D auto had really good ratings. I was skeptical as most are with auto shops. However, they have been extremely great! Not only fixed my ride but also worked with me on the hefty bill that came with the repair. I have a new regular mechanic for my vehicle and would refer anyone for their business.

I first took my 2006 Honda CR-V to Double D for a transmission problem. Six months after fixing that, I again took it in to be looked at since I was going to drive from Colorado to Oregon, Washington, and California and back again, and my car had over 170,000 miles on it. After the great job they did the first time, I knew that I could trust them to tell me if the car could make such a long trip safely. A few little fixes later, I set off on my trip with confidence.I cant say enough good things about this company. They are not just competent, they are excellent mechanics and are extremely honest with reasonable prices. I wont trust our cars to anyone else.

I was very excited to check this place out. My brother referred me to them, so I checked out Google reviews and saw most others were happy with them also. My check engine light was on, and I had already had the codes scanned at Advanced Auto Parts. There was a code for the catalytic converter and an O2 sensor. I was highly satisfied when I got there. I was seen right away, and the mechanic confirmed that the codes were in fact what I already knew they were. He told me that when the catalytic converter is having an issue, the corresponding O2 sensor also trips, but may not actually need to be replaced, but that he would double check them to be sure. He came back and said the O2 sensors looked great still and the converter was only beginning to show signs of wear, and that I could probably hold off a while on replacing it if I did a burn off and used better gasoline. I was told the cost of the burn off was about $45. I agreed and they went through with this procedure. I was a bit shocked when I was handed my bill for $165.66. I asked about it, reminding him that I was only told about the burn off cost of about $45. He said the $105 was for an hour of diagnostics. First of all, I wasnt even there for an entire hour. It was about 55 minutes total in and out, but the burn off procedure took about 20 minutes. So that would only be about 35 minutes of diagnostics. But either way, I was never notified of this cost. When I mentioned I had not been aware of this cost the man behind the desk said nothing to me. (he seemed irritated from the moment I walked in, and was like this towards all customers that came in.) I was also charged $12.20 for shop supplies (as a separate line item from the scan computer and Perform Catalytic Converter Burn Off so I am not even sure what that is for. Unless you like paying a lot more than you are quoted, I wouldnt recommend this place.

Disappointed! I have a problem with my Escape where the dash lights intermittently come on. I spoke with Kevin about the issue, and he gave me the impression he knew the issue, and in fact he quoted me $800 on two separate occasions. (This issue is related to soldering). He said the dash unit would be shipped off for repair.I took it in on a Friday morning. I guess I was assuming they would send the unit off for repair that day. Kevin told me the car should be ready by mid week. Tuesday afternoon I got a call from Kevin, and the Tech had some questions. They had not shipped off the unit after all, and were saying they couldnt figure out what was wrong. The tech said he was still working on it. So I called Wed am and they said they couldnt fix it.. that only Ford could fix it. And they charged me $200!!! It wouldnt bother me to pay this diagnostic fee if they had truly analyzed the problem, but I had told them already what was wrong.. and they led me to believe they had the fix. I wont be going back to Double D, and I feel totally shafted out of $200!

Double D has been taking care my vehicles forever - I’m thinking more than 20 years. I do a lot of cross country driving and I’m never afraid to take off into the big empty because I have every confidence they’ve done their best for me. Oh and did I mention they are honest and fair priced? Well, they are. Good good place!

They took over a month for them to look at my vehicle i called them multiple times and normally they wouldnt answer they said it was an electrical problem they couldnt do so I got it towed to another mechanic shop where they said it was just the battery and it turned out to be only the battery and now after I put in a new battery it works just fine I would not recommend this shop to anyone horrible service and they never call back like they said they would

My first time in was a great experience. Great help at the front, and the service was excellent. They even squeezed me in to fix my AC on a heat wave in Colorado.

I had what I thought was a cracked manifold. I took my truck to Double D and they checked it out and found that it had two bolts missing. The put two new bolts in and I was on my way, Im thankful for honest mechanics.

Kevin and the guys at DD are great! They are always trustworthy and expedient with my repairs and once saved my 4th of July family weekend by dropping everything late on a Friday afternoon to custom re-shape a mangled intercooler pipe so we could tow our travel trailer to the mountains. The repair price is always fair. I no longer live in Castle Rock but I am loyal to DD and still have my truck towed down to them for repair.

Been going here for about 15 years, never an issue and always done right the first time. No hassle, no charging for something you dont need- and a good group of guys too.

I needed a radiator flush and a new thermostat in order to keep my Subaru engine in the right temperature range. They fixed it while I waited in about one hour. They did not try to upsell me for anything.

Cant speak for service, but the techs are great guys!Heard a grinding noise on I-25, pulled over to check the damage, and ended up right next to their shop.Looked under the car, and the plastic under liner had come off.On a long shot, asked the guys at Double D if they had some zip ties.They graciously gave me a few, so I could get back on my way to an appointment (that I would have been late to!)

Some of the biggest headaches I have ever had over a repair shop are from these guys. I had problems with my engine light going on and off for awhile and these guys could never figure out what the problem was for whatever reason. It lead to unnecessary repairs that werent cheap and a lot of frustration on my end. They never kept their promise on time either ! They never had my car ready by when they said they would, and sometimes I would show up to get it and they hadnt even looked at it yet. Clearly placing other business in front of mine. As hard as they claim figuring the problem out was, Christian Brothers figured it out and fixed it the first time I brought to them. My car was ready when they said it would be and I havent had a single problem with it since. Dont waste your time or hard earned money at Double Auto.

I recently had an oil leak on a line to the oil cooler. Way too much for me to tackle. Kevin and his crew did an excellent and fast job on my problem. I knew it would not be cheap but feel they treated me very fair. Ill always recommend D & D for repairs.

My car had failed emissions by a value of just .0175 on the hydrocarbons, long story short I was charged $400 and the car ended up doing worse on emissions testing.

Once again, Double D did a great job working on our 2004 Nissan Pathfinder. New spark plugs, faulty rear light, etc.

When you send family and friends to a business for over 15 years you must be saying you really trust and believe in the service, professionalism of the company!
