David the manager in Castle Rock provided great service rotating the tires. He gave a good time slot for my appointment and finished the job in less than 30 minutes as he promised when the appointment was made. This is very satisfying and impressive, especially so as I had had to canceled the same service with a different Pep Boys shop ( in Lone Tree) where I showed up for the appointment and was told it would take 2-3 hours. That manager also refused to give me short notice and allow me to come back for the same job for a shorter time. He said once the car left the premise, it would require a new appointment and would take at least one and half hours to get the job done. There was apparently some attitude with that manager in Lone Tree as he emphasized his shop was always very busy. While that might be true and potential customers leaving might not be a problem for him, his attitude reflects poorly on Pep Boys. I am glad I had a choice and got the job done by David.

I went to get an oil change and I found out they never changed my oil, they just reset the computer in my car! Half way on my road trip my car starts saying it needs an oil change again! Do I check the oil and it was still the same old oil from before.I went back to pep boys and told them about this issue and they acted like I didn’t know anything about my own car! I couldn’t believe it !! Are you kidding me !! They even went so far to tell me a Full synthetic oil gets a old after a few miles! WHAT!!! I have a 2020 Mazda and I have never had this issue before at all! I could not believe what I was hearing. I ask for a refund and the kid in the front side he can change my oil for free which was nice! But to be honest I waited and watched them change it this time but I still want my refund this is not okay!!

This is my second time going here for an oil change and both times its been in and out without incident. They dont try to tell me my motor is falling out on either vehicle. Very refreshing to just get what I paid for and leave.

I would avoid the pep boys location in Castle Rock as my experience on multiple occasions has been they are not competent and/or be trusted to complete even the most basic tasks. On multiple occasions, I have taken my vehicles here for service and told the service was completed, only to subsequently find out the service had not been completed. Upon calling back to complain the person I spoke with lied and withheld information. It was near closing time so upon telling telling them I would come in the next day to get it resolved I was told by the worker to have fun with that as he would not be working. Again, its been multiple occasions that the pep boys location in Castle Rock has told me service work was completed when in fact they had neglected to do the work.

I had a failing battery on a new car which I bought online and they were the servicer listed for the vendor.They were very quick and easy. They called the vendor and got it all sorted out. Minus one star cuz the dude was not wearing a mask in the little office while I paid, but he put it on later when he came to look at the car.I would go back for sure.

Made a appointment online a few days in advance for a oil change(fyi, online appointments start at 7:00am....however, they dont open until 8:00). Kieth Bialo the manager mentioned he has been telling corporate they need to change that. Keith was very accommodating and friendly with everyone he dealt with. Both in person and on the phone. They got me in and out in about 30 minutes and with the coupon it was way cheaper than doing the oil change myself!! I have been going there since it opened and will continue to go there.

I just wanted to give a HUGE thank you to the guys at Pep Boys Castle Rock.Keith and Eric assisted me with questions and concerns regarding my 2011 Hyundai Sonata. Chris followed up by assisting and gathering my contact information regarding my vehicle. All three gentleman were extraordinarily professional, honest, and genuine, traits that are extremely rare to find in mechanics these days. I had taken my car to two other maintenance repair shops before coming across Pep Boys. Both places told me that they were unable to find the issue and that my car seemed to be just fine. I, myself noticed the problem while driving and knew for a fact that my car was not just fine. Eric took my car for a test drive. He noted that he did not initially come across the problem but he continued the test drive until it became apparent. Best service! Wow, how nice are these guys? My daughter was traveling and had a leaky tire. I called and Jessie said tell her to come on over. They throughly checked her tires, filled them up and sealed them. Without charge! Fans for life. Thank you Pep boys!

Dont go! I had made an appointment to do an oil change and to check the o2 sensor. As usual I always ask to top off the fluids and rotate tires with the usual tire pressure check. A routine they say is included with every visit. The last time I had checked my wiper fluid and it was low, so this time around I marked everything, even the tires to make sure they rotated them. They never called me and it took all day. I finally called before closing and they said it was ready. When I arrived they said they couldnt check the o2 sensor. I paid just for the oil change. I checked my markings and nothing was done. The fluids were still low and the tires were not rotated. I asked them and they said it was recommended to not rotate them. Absolute horse manure! Im not even sure if they did the oil change.They all need to get a pay cut or shut the place down.

These guys are absolutely amazing. Another shop completely stripped the drain plug on my oil pan (I wont say who) and then didnt tell me about it. I brought it to Pep Boys in Castle Rock and they were able to fix it in about 15 minutes with a full oil/filter change. Foster is the gentleman who helped me with the paperwork, and Jacob was the man behind the wrench. I highly recommend these guys to anyone who drives a car. The value of service is 100% worth it.

We Had a blow out while traveliing from Cheyenne to Amarillo and was towed to the location. I talked to the person at the front desk and he was rude, and told me that he couldnt get me in till 4:30pm. There was two other people just standing around and two open bays in the shop the other bays had cars but no one was working on them. The person I talked to was reading a magazine. If it wasnt for the gentleman from Brake Plus and Discount Tire we would still be there waiting. It was me the wife and two young grandsons. In the end they lost the sale of 4 new tires.

Jason, the manager is super knowledgeable and gets things taken care of! Michael is super awesome as well ( another manager) Jackson and David are both technicians who have worked on my car from a oil change to changing a wheel bearing as well as break pads. They are all courteous and knowledgeable on their jobs and I would highly recommend taking your car here!!!

He took fabulous care of me and saved me a bad day on the side of the road! The kind lady at the front desk topped off the experience. This was our first time bringing our cars here- and we will absolutely be back for ALL of our repair and maintenance needs! Honesty is something so hard to find and so valued in this industry, so when you find it- youre lucky! Jacob and Quentin did a great job evaluating our needs, troubleshooting and performing the needed repairs. The price is reasonable and we were very happy with the entire experience.

I went in for an oil change, was told my air cabin filter needed replaced and agreed to it. Later as I looked through paperwork I realized that it had just been changed 5 months ago, so that $85 went down the drain. Also, Mazda only charges $33 for that same service. Not going to be returning here.

Quick, affordable, and friendly service. Ive had mixed experiences with other Pep Boys locations but these guys worked me in late on a Sunday when I need a slow leak patched so I could drive to work on Monday. They finished the job before I was done shopping at Target across the street and even charged me less than the quoted price!

Surprised at how well they did. I usually avoid these types of places but they replaced my oil, did a power steering flush in less than an hour. I don’t think they did the full complimentary check up but I am definitely happy with them. Cheers!

***Monthly Customer*** Ive been to 4 different places in CR to have my jeep worked on. This is the ONLY place Ill continue to go. I trust 100% that they will be honest with the work needed on my Jeep and car. They have a great team and typically get me in and out quick. Its extremely rare that I ever have to wait long.

Great experience! Jacob and Quinten were professional, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to work there. I came in late in the day without an appointment and they were able to fit me in for an oil change. The service was fast yet very thorough. They identified that my tires were severely overinflated and not only adjusted the tire pressure, they also spent additional time resetting the sensor in my car that was incorrectly reading the tire pressure as low, causing the tires to be overfilled by a previous shop. The store was clean and an inviting place to wait while they serviced the car. I usually use the dealership service department exclusively but will be coming here for routine maintenance going forward. Fast, friendly, and convenient sums it up.

Forrest busted his butt for us! His shop was one of the only ones open on a Sunday. Hubby’s car got a flat on the way to work. All the tires were bald, but Forrest managed to get 4 tires for our car and had us out the door at 5pm. Really happy with our experience!

Had and issue with another shop (not pep boys) not being able to get my vehicle issue fix same day and way over charging for what needed to be done. Called pep boys in castle rock. They said bring it over right now and we will take a look. Jason who helped me (hope that was his name) got my issue resolved in 5 min and I was back to my job I had for the day. Awsome service and I will be using them more often. Highly recommend without a doubt!

Jacob and Forest have been great, they helped us diagnose and fix an expensive repair and found a way to get it done cheaper. I used to take my car to breaks plus but they would never give is a price quote for anything over the phone, just bring it down and well see, these guys will give an accurate quote first time, even over the phone, and only do what needs to be done. Highly recommended

Jacob and Tammy are amazing. It isnt very frequent when you find a repair facility for your car that will honestly help you get the most for your money. I went there with my newly purchase pre-owned car knowing I had a list of problems I will be needing to get done for a safe ride... first and foremost in my thoughts were new tires. Upon inspection Jacob confirmed to me that my tires had at least another approximately 20k miles left to go and showed no signs of unusual wear. This saved me $350 in new tires he could have sold me based only upon me thinking I needed them. Furthermore, between Tammy and Jacob both, they made a list of needed repairs for my car and took care of the vital work for a very comfortable price. I will be recommending them for anyone who needs an honest place to take their car.

I went in there just to have my brakes replaced. Ended up having a new intermediate shaft put on. It took him a week 5 days. They kept saying they didnt have the parts of the brakes, then they needed to order the part for the intermediate shaft.when they knew they had to do it from the start so why not order it when they ordered the brakes. You go in there and theres people sitting around and normal plainclothes nothing professional about it nothing like a tech shop should be its more like a family mechanic that rips you off. I just went to big o tires to have my ball joints replaced and they couldnt do it because of pep boys cross threaded that intermediate shaft. So big o tires help me out replaced it all the right way and now Im back on the road again. I went back to pep boys to see if they would refund the money just for that intermediate shaft I didnt care about them replacing the money for the brakes or anything like that I even asked for the money for the shop time or labor. they said they could not do it because their warranty only covered if we came in and had the shaft redone I wasnt willing to go through the same hassle and a week later when a place did all my ball joints and the shaft and under 7 hours.my family or I will never go back to pep boys I dont care if they have new management now just the way they treated a customer that tried to understand the situation they were in at the time just got Literally the shaft.

My car has had an issue off and on with not starting. Kind of a problem in a car, right? No one has been able to figure it out. I just went into Pep boys and met Forrest. They narrowed it down to what it could be but still couldnt quite figure out was causing the exact issue. Forrest was honest about it and didnt want to have me pay a ton of money in guessing at what was causing the problem. He was honest and ethical. Theyve earned my business.

I had a horrible experience at the pep boys in highlands ranch so I decided to try this location. Most businesses do well when things go right but when things dont go right, that is when you discover how customer oriented they truly are. Jacob, the location manager, was fantastic. We had an issue not even relates to pep boys and Jacob not only handled but he also made it right. I will for sure be doing more business with this location only.

I wanted an oil /filter change on my wifes car. We were going to meet there and I arrived first. So to save time I went in and told them my wife was almost there and we would leave it overnight if needed. The man behind the counter said to wait until she arrived even though nobody else was in the waiting area. I left.Not sure Ill be back or not, even though I paid for a service plan at a Dealer that uses any Pep Boys.

Were completing in a decent amount of time. Told they were open till 8. Made a special trip over and arrived at 7:27 and apparently they decided to go home early. See my truck in the lot and go out and it is opened. All my belongings inside available for anyone for the taking. Very disappointed.

Didnt want to go to pep boys due to prior bad experience but had limited options due to ordering tires from amazon. Disappointed in the 4 and 1/2 hours it took to install when originally stated 2.5 hour job. Disappointed in the gunk you left all over my new pirellis and rims. Thanks for achieveing the same quality work that you maintain throughout all your locations across the country! 👎Sorry i didnt buy tires from you, maybe you would have cared more if i did?

Wow! The guy running the front office is an absolute joke. He was literally on speaker phone calling his probation line when I walked in at 10am. He barely even looked up when I walked in it took him a full two minutes to mutter, Hold on. Then after I got to hear how much he owed in fines and whether or not he needed to complete a urine analysis that day he finally asked what I needed like I was bothering him by coming in. I told him I had an appointment for an oil change and was told I was lying. Then after I pulled up the confirmation on my phone he still wasnt having it and told me the best he could do was the next day. After all this I was beyond fed up being treated like I was an inconvenience and informed him of would go to another location. I was then told, Have a great FU¢#!NG day! This type of treatment is absolutely appalling. I will never come back to this location and I highly recommend anyone who is thinking about coming here to not.

Terrible alignment performed on my truck thats destroying my tires. The service person recorded my truck as a 2016 model instead of a 2017. When I called for them to make it right, they wouldnt because my trucks year didnt match the invoice. Lousy customer service, Ill never go back again. A simple free realignment would have kept me loyal.

UPDATE UPDATE: They made up for their goof and all has been resolved.I was also informed of some other information about that location that was probably not for my ears. I am not going to give specifics, but It has been a few weeks since I was last there and I hope they made those changes. Due to the way they resolved the issue, I will be going back to change my oil in the future. Of course, I will be present next time. I would recommend giving them another chance to at least right any wrongs. Pushing up to 4 stars and if the next time they do my OC and its a good exp., Ill push it to 5.UPDATE: fast response. lets just see if the email even gets looked at now. I want a refund so I can either get this fixed elsewhere or I want them to put the proper oil in and refund me back the difference!I had sent my wife in to get my cars oil changed and while they were fast I specifically had my wife ask for a blend. They didnt have a bled so they proceeded to put a full synthetic in without telling my wife. I would have said we will just wait, but no! Now I have a synthetic in my car THAT I DIDNT REQUEST NOR WAS I INFORMED THAT IT WAS GOING TO BE PUT IN THERE! Now I have to go elsewhere almost immediately to get this rectified since pepboys doesnt have the proper oil. NEVER going here again lost 83$ on a full synthetic that I have to change out...nice robbery pepboys.

Very disappointed in the communication & customer service, not only at this Castle Rock location but also with the Pep Boys national call center. I ordered 4 tires through their online portal 5 days in advance of my appointment with them (the website said this would be plenty of time for the tires to arrive at the shop). I arrived to my afternoon appt today and they said my tires didnt come in yesterday or today which is apparently really weird. I gave them my tracking number & order number and they werent able to provide any information on where my shipment was at. After 10 minutes of failing with trying to look up the tracking number on my phone, I said, So basically I just need to make the 20 minute drive back home and wait til the tires arrive and youll give me a call? The manager just said Yep. So I told them I understood that the tires not showing up on their shipment truck wasnt their fault, but they saw this morning that I would be coming in this afternoon for the tire appt, so someone could have taken 60 seconds to call me and move my appt. to next week. The whole time I was talking to this manager, he was scrolling through his computer then shuffled through some paperwork just nodding his head, clearly not listening to me (I could primarily tell based on his response of you got it ???). I walked out and called their customer service line to cancel my order and I got an operator that had me repeat my order number 4 times and say I would get a confirmation email of my cancellation right away (that was over an hour ago, still havent received a cancellation email). I also requested to file a formal complaint about the lack of communication & professionalism at this store, and the operator said I should really just discuss that with the manager at the specific store, who was the reason I wanted to file a complaint in the first place! All in all, I would not recommend dealing with any tire changes here and DEFINITELY dont use their online system for ordering as it is not accurate and doesnt even produce a true tracking number for you to find your shipment!

Very inexperienced shop!Got my oil changed, went a a road trip, got home and oil light came on. Took it back, the manager argued with me that the oil pan gasket was leaking. Took my car to the dealership to find out that the plug in the pan had not been put back in. The shop manager of pep boys treated us poorly. I highly recommend avoiding this place at all cost!!

This place should be renamed to just pep boys they kept the just brakes staff that was failing miserably. The manager is a con artist. He quoted me well over 700 to do shocks for a 93 grand cherokee, not struts. When the website showed what Id pay he contested that price and had the stones to tell me hed love to do the work for me! I bet you would! How much goes directly into your pocket? This place should be the last place you go to in castle rock for repairs. If you want a professional to work on your car, go anywhere but here. If you want fair and reasonable prices, dont come here. Its still just brakes doing business as pep boys. They shouldve fired everyone when pep boys took over. Hopefully pep boys pays attention to the predatory practices that the current manager is practicing that he learned so well from just flakes.

I wish I could rate this 0 stars. Absolutely terrible. Had to get a brake line “fixed”, which was a problem I didn’t even have or noticed. Get my car back with no brake fluid, come to find out that they installed the part wrong.Charged me $350 to get my car back in worse condition than what I dropped it off in. Never again will I be going to Pep Boys.(This is one of many bad experiences)

My husband got his brakes done here last Friday (a process that took an unacceptable 5 hours.) We didnt use his vehicle until he returned to work on Wednesday. Imagine my horror when he tells me his brakes stopped working on his way to work. When he inspected his vehicle he noticed that one of the brake calipers was detached and completely missing the bolts. He could also turn the lug nuts on a different wheel with only his fingers. He had to have it towed from Littleton back to Castle Rock for this location to fix their egregious error. Then a coworker had to drop him off at the end of his day. As if all of this wasnt inconvenient enough he had to return again after everything was fixed because the wheel lock key hadnt been returned to him. While Pep Boys did pay for the tow and didnt charge us for repairing their errors this incident is still absolutely unnaceptable. That this was allowed to happen at all should be a red flag. Luckily no one was hurt but I cant help but be angry that such negligence even occurred. This error could have resulted in me losing my husband and my children losing their dad. Other people could have been seriously injured as well. Needless to say we will not be sending any business your way. There is obviously a need for additional training and a change for how vehicles are inspected for release back to customers.

They tried to charge me 140.00 for an oil change. It also took the 3 and a half hours to do the oil change. Dont go here, they will try to drain you of your money.

Needed four new tires on a Sunday for an Audi, due to blow out. Forrest got us in, and on the road same day. His shop was the only one who had our (typically special order) tires in stock.

Went in for a window regulator replacement and they tried to charge me $400 FOR ONE WINDOW, and the lady that helped me acted like I was stupid. I went to another shop and they charged me $205... thank god I decided to take my car back before they charged me that outrageous amount 😡

Dont ever work here !John and Forrest will watch and listen to all conversations with the on site cameras and then yell at you if a customer leaves because they dont have an oil change coupon ! CRAZY MANAGEMENT!
