It is busy on weekends but I enjoy this location. Very friendly customer service. I order my firearms from a 3rd party to here and i am very happy about how they transfer. My only negative is range gets too hot.

Outstanding experience here yesterday! Received a call from Henry advising my order was ready and walked in and needed some direction. John answered my many questions and really made me feel comfortable with a process new to me. Ashley was also super helpful. Wife and I stop by the Store to see if they had T-Shirts For-Sale. They said they have been sold out for some time. This guy named Henry walk up and started talking to us and guess what. Bought my first pistols from here and took them to the range. Leo was great getting me set up with holsters and ammo and Joe gave me an awesome crash course on the range to help out a guy who hadnt shot in a long time. Henry is the MAN!! I had an issue with a purchase I had just made and wanted to switch it out for something else. Henry went above and beyond to get me taken care of! First time customer and because of this experience wont be the last. Ashley was awesome as well. Joe is the greatest safety / range instructor ever! I came for my 23rd birthday woth my dad and sister, he was polite, respectful, informative, and very patient with us, he made sure we know everything to do correctly and Was very pleasant to talk to. He signed up us quick and got us on the range after the paperwork. Will definitely be coming into this location again just because of joe and his vast knowledge of the guns, ammo, and tips on how to shoot! Thank you joe!!!

Joe and Parker were very helpful, Joe went above and beyond to help with a bolt issue, cleared the firearm, oiled everything up, and even test fired it to ensure everything was good to go. With service like that, why would you go anywhere else?

Poor customer service. I went to buy a Glock and they didn’t even acknowledge a single person that walked in. After waiting several minutes and making eye contact with multiple employees, without being asked if I need help, I walked out. It doesn’t take much to let someone know you’ll be right with them.

This is only a range review. NEVER AGAIN! !!!Me and my friends have been going to that range for DECADES, even held annual membership at one point, We will NEVER go back! . On the last visit, the range sounded like a firefight on the streets of Tikrit. Total chaos, rapid firing without control all over the place, it felt unsafe at the best of times. We did not even stay for the hour we paid for. The RSO’s are young kids who look like deer caught in headlights. The ppl next to us violated so many safety rules we high tailed it out. Prices have also become outrageous for range time. The range lights did not work on 2 of our 3 lanes, gone are the experienced people and most of the staff is younger than most of the firearms I own. Now it’s just get most people in and pack them like it’s a discount airline. You could tell almost everyone on the range was a new shooter, barrels pointing in all directions, firearms exchanged Hand to hand instead of being left on the lane counter etc…. No thanks. We will find a new place.

I was reading all the negative reviews about people purchasing guns but not following the regulatory requirements to purchase and getting refused. I am glad Shoot Straight enforces THE LAW. I have shot here and purchased here before without issue. Ranges are good and the team keeps things orderly.

Dropped in to get some info on how to obtain a concealed license & was greeted by Alex. Very kind & knowledgeable. As a business owner my self I would love my employees to be as knowledgeable as he is about our products.

I use them for a transfer FFL 3 days after a local gun show so they were very busy, there was a bit of confusion at first as to the location of my weapon but they found it they were very polite and they were helpful I would have no problem using them again

I came in at 6 :20 & the gentleman at the counter was very rude and unprofessional said he would give me 20 minutes, when the website clearly says they close at 7 . When I said fine ,he then said he was gonna charge full admission and give 3 minutes and basically kicked my daughter and I out. I spoke to his manager and he seem to care less . Horrible experience for my daughter & I. It was her 1st time ever and she was super excited to shoot .

Worst customer service ever purchased a gun and then went to pick it up and were accused of smelling like weed when we didnt and dont smoke said okay we will come back and asked a simple question what if someone had a medical card so we go back today and are told the sent the gun back and are processing for a refund minus a 25% restocking fee and all employees there got aggressive with us and started surrounding me all of this over an assumption of an invalid point and reason i do not recommend this place to anyone i have never been treated this awful in my life very disappointed in there behavior

Tried to make a purchase online yesterday and their website glitched and would not let me finish the transaction. Called up to verify the stock and said Id be in first thing in the morning to purchase/pickup. Wake up this morning and the price for what I wanted jumped $200. I asked if they would honor their original price and they refused even though their website issues were the reason I could not purchase. Absolute horrible way to do business. After spending thousands of dollars with them over the past few years I will now no longer give or recommend any business to them.

Back in late March I called to inquire about a hard to find shotgun. The man on the phone was very helpful in identifying the firearm I was looking for and I was happy to come to this gun store. The sound of the on-site, indoor gun range and the remarkable taxidermy trophies make for a great buying experience.Angelo was a huge help in assisting me with the purchase! When I came back to pick up my purchase Ethan helped me on my way and recommended some great ammo.

Joe was a big help, great knowledge and felt like a real one on one and was great!!

Very positive place to purchase a rifle, I purchased a Springfield saint AR 15 , very pleased with the whole experience.very professional staff, the background Process was very smooth, waited 3 days for the background to come back. We are regulars at Shoot Straight Casselberry. The staff are usually courteous and try to get you into a booth of your choice as soon as possible. The only negative feedback I have is to suggest that members (who pay $225+/year) should get preferential access to booths when there is limited a availability. As it is, on a weekend it is likely that we will wait 45 min to an hour or simply leave as there is nowhere to sit.

This is my favorite place to shoot. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and encourage a learning environment. I have brought many friends and family to shoot here over the years. The lanes a functional and clean. The cool fresh air ducts are helpful especially on hot days. Aim small miss small. 7,15,25 with 9mm.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The line took a little bit due to the amount of people but that’s totally acceptable. I will definitely be returning for my future purchases.

The employees have absolutely no respect. Called today employee hangs up the phone then they have the nerve to tell me the gun still hasn’t even been shipped out. It’s been two weeks since I’ve canceled my transaction and the gun is still at the store. It’s insane how they do business their rude and not helpful . They clearly don’t care about the minority and it’s very evident on how they treat us color people. I would never do business again with those dirt bags.

Im not an easy customer so let me tell you why you should shop shoot Straight in Casselberry, the Staff, the deals and the service are second to none and I comparison shop hard, Ive purchased over 30 guns from them because they consistently deliver the best prices day in and day out on quality big name brand guns, not the bargain basement stuff. Shop around as hard as I do and youll understand why my money consistently, over and over again ends up at Shoot Straight Casselberry

Mixed experience here. My salesperson Jeremy was okay but not very helpful to me after my mentioning of being new. I made some basic mistakes as a novice to shooting, which I apologized for. Still, I wished I was properly and patiently shown the ropes before starting.Now what kept this from being a one star review was after I was done in the range. I was helped by JOSEPH and Joseph was amazing! Engaging, actively listening, helpful and so easy to talk to. Joseph helped me get some supplies and I couldnt have been more satisfied. Joseph is a model everyone there should follow in demeanor and attitude.I was only visiting with a friend as I am not a local resident. So I am willing to give this place another shot some other time and hope things go well. I look forward to giving a higher rating as I feel the prices are set fairly and the store is well organized.Thank you.

Ive had nothing but awesome experiences at this location. Currently, I have made several purchases at this location. Every time I have had a different sales person and every time the have been nothing short of awesome. I have also used their range. This experience was also very positive. I highly recommend this place.

They are my go to place for FFL transfer, but place is COVID 19 free zone. Majority of employees don’t wear masks nor do the customers. Store doesn’t enforce local regulations.

I went to the Casselberry store last week to purchase a gun for my wife. She has arthritis in her hands so I wanted to make sure she would be able to handle the trigger pull before I purchased a pistol for her. We found one that looked like it would work but the person behind the counter refused to let her dry fire it. We went to another gun shop and purchased that very pistol from them after they let her dry fire it. I wasnt going to say anything about this but we went back to Casselberry today and got totally upset with them. We went to use the range today and had the following conversation.Them: That will be $34 for one hour, and you have to use the same lane.Me: What it would cost for one person, one lane?Them: $17.00.Me: Ok, give us two lanes!Them: We cant, you both have to use the same lane!Now, I dont know about you, but that math just doesnt add up to me. Last time at that store for me! Hello Shooters World! Yes!

Gun range experience is well below average. Young adults walk around with angry looks on their faces. Had a shooter next to us that hit the pulley system. They gave him such a hard time, we almost stepped in as it was so uncomfortable to listen to the lecture.The odd thing was that that young person (speaking to an older gentleman) came back after 5 minutes to deliver a message from his manager and continued to lecture.Gun range needs to be taken seriously, that person was respectful, just missed one shot...They can be professionals but smile sometimes.

I ordered and paid for a 380 high point pistol in another state had it delivered to Shoot Straight in Casselberry FL l am a veteran of the USMC honorable discharge He didnt ask me for my paperwork or nothing He was upset that I made the purchase some where else l feel like I have been discriminated againstI would never buy nothing from there and would not recommend anyone buying something there they do not care about you all they want is your money they also lied to one of my friends about a pistol said they didnt sell them well I was there last Thursday and I had the gun in my hand it came from Lakeland and they just told him we dont sell that kind of gun here so they told her a big big a big lie

They spent a fair bit of time with me helping me buy my first AR, which was great. But, after the sale, the very next day I went to their range, and naturally had some clarifying questions. They told me, that they were really busy that day and couldn’t really help me. Clearly they were only interest in the selling part of our relationship. I left and went to a smaller shop where I wouldn’t have gone to otherwise. They stole every sale after that... bought 1k rounds, sights, and other bolt-ons - not including what I bought for my other Inventory. They get 2 stars only for the help with the initial sale.

My wife and I visited this location over the weekend and had an excellent experience. We were there for the range and discovered it is nothing like my last visit to this location 20 years ago.Many lanes that were divided to reduce noise. I wish I had known they can do rifles too.Francisco is a staff member that was exceptional. He provided excellent advice for my wife that was immediately impactful. He later came over with another excellent nugget of wisdom.I would recommend this range and store to anyone. Great staff. Clean range. Good selection.

Their prices are pretty good. However, they are very disorganized and customer service is pretty much non-existent. They dont have signs for where to wait in line for (purchasing or picking up guns, ammo, etc.) and its difficult asking about which line to wait in because no one acts like they want to help you.

Super rude employees! Came here to use the range and they were really busy so they put us on the wait list saying to come back in an hour. We showed up and they said the range closes in 15 minutes? Waste of time 🙄 They didn’t even apologize or explain why it happened, the gentleman was just rude. Don’t go here! The prices are also over the top.

Don’t accept returns without a receipt. Not even a store credit. This wasn’t for a weapon, it was simple cleaning supplies. Customer service guy was extremely rude as well. Younger guy with dark hair. Not recommended.

Called over the phone today, expressing that I wanted to purchase a new gun and shoot it at their range. Im a first-time buyer, and stated as such.The female employee stated that I needed a concealed carry permit to shoot at the range, if I wasnt a member. What a strange requirement/rule. There must be a reason for it, and they have every right to make their own rules. But they definitely wont be getting my $550+ today.

I’ve going here for years and only because it’s the closest range to my house. The employees don’t really know that much and they’re not very professional. One guy told my mom a very intense story about him shooting someone and made her even more afraid of guns. Another female employee, interrupted me in a conversation I was having with my dad and told him to buy a shotgun with birdshot for home defense which would be easier for my mom to shoot instead of an AR-15. The range is okay at best but if you want to buy something and know that the person you’re talking to, go to one of the mom and pop shops like the armories or lord of war.

Tylor can give you one of the best demonstrated practice in terms of Sales and customer care at Apopka location. He used to be Casselberry store Manager. Actually, All sales and service associates are great people and very helpful for any question during the purchase. Having such a great company with a great Team in Central Florida is a big asset for us. Thank you Guys 🙏👍👏

08152020 Update: More stuff being delivered to me, from someplace else. Im simply recounting truthfully what the employee told me to do back in July of this year. Go elsewhere.06162020: Ive had what I can most constructively describe as a confusing experience. One star because I wasted my time and I seriously cannot comprehend the logic of my experience. A short while after a purchase, I wanted was to add a few not insignificant items to my recent purchase. I stopped in the store and they were out of stock. OK. I was instructed to try their online portal as it could be at another store or at their warehouse. Website said, out of stock. OK. I even put it on my Wishlist thinking that might stimulate someone to place it on their order list. I called and asked how we could accomplish my goal. They informed me that I should check back periodically. I asked, What if I told you I know I wanted x number of item y, then you wouldnt order it for me? Its best to stop by after Wednesdays. I stop in, nothing. We wouldnt be able to order this. I was told we only get what the distributors send to us. (Seriously? Like if I told them I wanted 100 guns, they would be like, wow, uh, gee. We cant. We ONLY get what the distributors will send to us. Were at their mercy. Sure. That makes sense.) Then, there was the shocker as a customer in a business that I want to support, I was suggested to try some other companys online site. . . Huh? Ive never been told so many different ways how someone cant get something done. The location was busy with patrons moving about the store, but the inventory was to say the least anemic, like 1/10th their normal inventory. I seriously hope that was the most random experience ever and that otherwise the experiences of others is more rational than mine.07032020 Update: Well. I did what the employee at the store told me. I went to another companys online site, ordered 3 of one item, and 3 other items. Its was easy. And in a week or so, since it was so easy, Im making another order.

This place is truly the most helpful and well stocked shop I’ve been to, and they have a range!

Customer service is terrible. My little brother tried to buy a rifle from here, they wouldnt sell it to him because my older brother gave him a few dollars to because he was short a couple bills to complete the transaction. They tried to make it seem like we were being criminals and buying guns illegally for someone else and refused our services. My brother later went to another store and paid 100 dollars more for the same rifle. Long story short. Dont go to Shoot Straight in Casselberry.

I walked in, said Im new and I want a pistol, something like a Glock. Dustin, the store manager, said no Glocks all sold out, and he took me straight to the gun I ended up buying. The next week, when I went to pick it up, Dustin was there, remembered me, and even though the store was busy gave me tips. He even accompanied me into the range for my first shots. I couldnt have asked for better service. Abby was also very good, as was Dylan. I love Shoot Straight Casselberry!

If you enjoy overpriced firearms, rude staff, and high range wait times, this place is for you! Waited an hour and a half just to be told that they close in 15 minutes. Of course they didnt let me know before hand. Thanks for wasting my day guys!

My favorite local gun shop. They ALWAYS have the best prices. They are even competitive with online prices. The associates are very helpful and friendly and I enjoy going to the shop. The range is air conditioned. They have a good selection of guns and accessories in stock!

Walked around for 30 mins before first person helped me. Made me feel like I was wasting his time. 5 people standing around and I asked to purchase Ammo and they just pointed to where it was. Then tried to buy a used 40 and after I paid I looked at the gun and they tried giving me a different gun then the one I picked out. After that he argued with me and told me who couldnt do anything about it. $600 order I just asked for refund and left. Horrible..

I personally like this shoot straight. I understand the bad rep the company has received in the past but this location is pretty good. The range safety officers are always watching and wont hesitate to step in when necessary. Prices are competitive and the range is clean. I do like that you can double tap/rapid fire.

I understand closing early during time of crisis. A sign on building or update on website would have been respectful to your customers. As I inquired about a particular weapon to the associate letting everyone know they were closed, I attempted to confirm the price I saw online. So that I may come back tomorrow. He stated the owner said they are not honoring online prices. When I laughed a little and said ok price gauging customers a little, he stated yea... pretty much

Recently moved to the area and called the store to request info for proof of residency I needed to fill out background check.When I arrived, to purchase $2k worth of guns, I was told my proof of address was incorrect. Fortunately, I remembered the name of the person who gave me the “wrong” information. He failed to recognize his mistake, and instead of apologizing, he started defending his actions. This is a big custumer service fail.Thankfully manager focused the situation, and did the right thing. He apologized for the mis-information and made things right by suggesting alternate legal options. It was because of him that I ended up going forward with my purchase.Shoot Straight management would practically and financially benefit from re-training certain staff in what good custumer service skills and interaction norms.I look forward to having a better experience there. I do appreciate their excellent gun values and expertise!

If you shoot as much as I do then get a membership to the range. The staff is always helpful, the range is usually clean, and the prices are pretty dang fair.

Been to this location a few times now each time I go, I was hoping it would be better, It never is. I tried to see if they would order a new gun for me and they put about zero effort into it, if it aint on their website they wontt even bother. I even asked them if they would look at their distributors inventory or call their distributor and they couldnt be bothered to do that. I know I will never come to this store again, probably for the best cause their range prices and membership prices are kinda high too

Paid for an hour left after only 30 minutes. Worst experience ever range staff allowed children in to range forced me to leave range early. Father allowed child to carry 22 cal. pistol and case with fully loaded magizines. I will probably never go back there due to their poor judgement.

My sister attempted to shoot here with my father and they refused them because apparently they needed proof that he’s her dad. When presented with the military IDs that showed same address and that he is her sponsor. They claimed to not know what a sponsor was. Never have I heard of needing proof to show that you’re someones parents ESPECIALLY when two forms of ID are presented. Will never be returning.

I didnt know what fit me or what was for me. I walked around and tried to ask for help. I felt helpless because for 5 mins standing at the counter noone came. So as I was just about to walk out a man by the name of Jeremy came up to me very politely and said, Can I help you with something? From then on it was tactical heaven. Jeremy was so informational, unlike some places that have workers that talk just to talk but have no actually knowledge and just shoot. Jeremy had real knowledge, the history of when the gun was made, know the manufacturer etc. Crazy. Every gun store should have a Jeremy. He breaks everything down to a tee where even my wife understood. The way he treated me and my wife, it made me not only purchase, but I told 5 of my friends to go to shoot straight casselberry and ask for Jeremy. I also will be going next week with my wife to get a conceal for her and an ar for me. As a business owner I understand that customer service is everything. Was told by a manger to come in Thursday to pick up the firearm I bought for the three day wait time. Thursday comes around I drive all the way there just to be told by a employee with such attitude that my pickup is the next day. When I tried to determine why I was told Thursday was my pickup day and now it is not I was promptly told “too bad” as the employee just walked away from me. Needless to say I got my refund and will never go back there again. This is the third time having a bad Experience with shoot straight, and I advise everyone to take your hard earned money elsewhere.
