My truck overheated at 1 pm and I had it to Mechanics Plus by 1:30. They replaced the radiator and electric cooling fan in about 3 hours with no extra charge for the speedy service. Literally no other garage would have even attempted this. That kind of service is common for Scott and Brian. Thanks guys for everything!

After taking my truck to a local so-called air-conditioning specialist that wanted $1200 to replace my AC system I told the young lady here to go ahead and replace the AC. since her warranty was better than the previous one. After checking my system she said there was nothing wrong with my AC system and it only needed a recharge. I won’t name the other company but it is located on Forsyth street here in Orlando. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs auto repair. Stop getting ripped off by dishonest garages

Very trusted repair shop. After they repaired my issue I was amazed that something else didnt brake.

We took my sons car in because his turn signal abc hazards weren’t working. We knew it was the turn signal relay and told them this. After some time Kelly, the receptionist, calls and says the cost will be $211.00 and $120.00 of that was for an hour and half it took them to diagnose it. I don’t know a whole lot about cars, but I knew this price was just too much and it would not take an hour and half to figure out the problem. I asked her some questions and she could not or would not answer them. She was extremely rude and not at all helpful it trying to get my questions answered. We hung up and about 15 minutes she calls me back and tells me they will not be working on the car now and to pick it up. I was so annoyed at how unprofessional and rude she was, but I’m glad it happened because I took the car to Anderson Motors Good Cars 4 good people, in Fern Park and the man was able to do the exact repair for $80.00. He was extremely knowledgeable and kind. He also found some other things that needed to be repaired that Mechanics Plus didn’t even see during their hour and a half diagnosis. So, save yourself the aggravation and your money and don’t use Mechanics Plus. Go to Anderson Motors Good Cars 4 good people for great service and great work!

I have been using Mechanics Plus for the last 10 years. I saw TIffany and the Gang on Thursday, they did a great job(as always,) under budget and in great time. Every time I arrive Tiffany is there to manage the visit and the service. 10 Years ago price on a major car service led me to Mechanics Plus, the quality workmanship, the service and the people have kept me there.

The mostly great reviews I read about this shop is what led me here. Thank God for these reviews or id probably still be searching for a good mechanic. I brought my car here because coolant had been leaking which was worrying me quite a bit. Fortunately it wasnt a major expensive repair (but still bad enough to be taken seriously because coolant leaks can lead to much worse problems). I was in and out of that shop in less than 2 hours. Would have been even less if I didnt show up during their lunch break hour.The lady that was helping me while I was there (cant recall her name unfortunately) was very polite. She explained to me the warranty I had for the new part they had to install and if I continued to have any further issues with the coolant, then they would be happy to take another look. This was about 3 weeks prior to this review and my coolant level hasnt dropped at all and I havent noticed any leaks underneath the car. Ill be coming back to Mechanics Plus the next time there is an issue with my car.

After being quoted high dollar amounts for the overheating issue on my car, and no explanation on what is wrong we went to Mechanics Plus. Highly recommend to anyone needing work done on their vehicle! They figured out the problem in no time and the price was well in price range compared to other shops. An Honest Mechanic!!!!!!I went in to check out my old 2007 Acura TL which had an oil leak and the service I received was incredible. I spoke with Scott and he advised me as if I were a family member. My repairs were a bit more than what im willing to invest on it and he seemed to agree that maybe it wasnt a great idea. He sided with me not as a business trying to produce more money, but as a human being and gave me sound advice. I will return and refer all of my family and friends to mechanics plus!!

I asked them for a jump start to my vehicle, because my battery was not allowing me to even start it. At first, when I went there, I got the sense based on how they were talking rudely to me about even doing it for me, because they close, in 8 MINUTES! I told them my situation, and my vehicle was LITERALLY, across from the shop in the next parking lot. Even one of the mechanics, this short bald rude little excuse of a man, was saying I aint walking over there, when I suggested to him that we can walk to the car, jump it, and then Ill drive him back to the shop. The receptionist was also trying to make sense of what he was doing, but couldnt make an excuse for why her rude customer service was ever cherished. Instead, the owner, Bill drove his vehicle drove the mechanic and I to my car, jumped it, and told me to run it for awhile. I did, then I noticed smoke coming from my hood. I turned off the car, and even THEY could not tell me why! They left me there, and did not even stay long enough to figure out the source of the problem. They did such a GREAT JOB (sarcastic humor). Later on, I found out through someone who FORMERLY worked on vehicles, told me it was my alternator that went bad, and the smoke came from extra fuel that was burning from the engine.The next day, I returned to the shop, and the rude receptionist, who did not even say Good Morning, had the nerve to tell me they will not give me a jump again. I walked out, and NEVER to return there again.

I want to give a shout out to the entire staff (particularly Tiffany and Chris) for their fantastic service. I brought my car in because it would uncomfortably shake when the car accelerated. Tiffany was very hospitable and explained what needed to be fixed in an easy-to-understand manner. The crew here were able to replaced two bearings and help me check if anything else needed to be addressed in under 2 hours.The price was very fair. Most importantly, my car no longer shakes! This morning I was quoted $400 by the Hyundai dealership to replace my entire tail light to resolve an issue. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of car repair(s).I went there once before and service was terrific, so when I had another issue that arose suddenly last night, I took it in first thing this morning (without an appointment), I had to be at work at 9AM and had to leave by 830AM at the latest! Honest, kind, and will do there best to keep your costs down. Ive had several major repairs here over the years and theyve been surprisingly fair every time. The only issue Ive ever had was a part of my glove compartment not put back together properly, which they corrected right away when I brought it back in. I drive over an hour here every time my car needs help because they are serious the best!

Took truck to be repaired, did fine. took car in for repair. fixed brakes, fixed sensor. suppose to check coolant leak. was a very small one. when picked up car, on the way home, coolant pored out of thermostat area. car was steaming, before i got home, about 3.5 mi. . now unable to drive it. called, said drive it in to check hose. odd , for a check, now unable to drive.

The lady and guy on the phone were really rude. Talked my ear off boasting how they were the best shop blah blah. Refused to answer my question, I have never gone to this shop, and never will. Go to s&k automotive. They are way more helpful and actually care about their customers. Strongly recommend this business. I brought my vehicle in because it needed some work to pass the inspection for a driving test (signals, horn, ect). I needed it done in 30 minutes and they had me out the door in 15 with everything fixed. The staff was very helpful and attentive. I will be returning to this location for any future car repairs.

Would never take my vehicles anywhere else! Bill and his staff have worked on all our vehicles from the Ford Van, Explorers, F-150, to a Nissan Z. Very knowledgeable, honest and fair on prices. Where else would you have your mechanics personal phone number but here? They actually care about you!

Bill really saved the day for my one year old son and I. My car broke down at his pediatricians office and I didnt know what we were going to do. He gave me the number to call to get my car towed to him and then came and personally picked us up so we wouldnt have to wait on it to get there. Once we got to the shop he helped me get a rental car, he even put his own personal credit card down for me since I didnt have my own to secure it. He had my car ready by noon the very next day! My husband took his car here for a second opinion/estimate on something. Mechanics Plus was $200 less than the estimate we got the day before. It was a good experience.

Mechanics Plus was recommended to me for mechanical work on my Nissan. Unfortunately I reached out to Bill - the Owner of Mechanics Plus - who was rather rude. Bill of Mechanics Plus wont do estimates over the phone, Bill is unable to tell you how long his labor will take (charges $99/hour). Bill will tell you be prepared to leave the car with him and get a rental, he couldnt care less if you have to drive 2 hours to see him. Bill of Mechanics Plus wasnt even interested to know how much Nissan wants for the Part because he gets parts elsewhere. Bill of Mechanics Plus hadnt say where he gets his parts but during our 2 minute conversation I have heard about 10 x NO (Im not interested in your business) and about 20 x how honest Bill is. Anyway Bill of Mechanics Plus doesnt accept any diagnostics reports from other places and does one himself for $139 . The only concern of Bill of Mechanics Plus was where I got his phone number, because if Im shopping around for best price then Im not his kind of customer - I guess he is right, I dont deal with arrogant unhelpful jerks either

Im a 20 something, middle-income guy who knows absolutely nothing about cars. My car needed some work desperately. Without going into the specifics of it, Id been quoted 300-500 at various other places. The guys at Mechanics Plus explained the problem and broke down the process and price very easily and clearly. I was amazed at how friendly and helpful these guys are. I ended up paying considerably less than I was quoted at other places and was very pleased with the quickness of the process. My daughter goes to school in Orlando and needed work on her cars air conditioning. She had another shop look at it and they diagnosed a bad compressor clutch to the tune of over 1000.00. I live in Illinois so I discovered Mechanics Plus on Yelp. Based on great reviews, we called them. Bill got right back to me and said my daughter could drop it off and he could drive her back home. After thoroughly checking it out, they discovered a bad belt that was the culprit. Less than 50.00 to replace! Needless to say, we have found our go to shop. It is great to find an honest and fair business with nice people who can be trusted. i might even have my car serviced there when i am visiting my daughter!

I am delighted! Drove in from 200 miles away and heard/felt a grinding sound coming from the back end .I was here for a short to for recreation but realized I needed to take care of my car. I found mechanics plus while reading up on another brake shop just down the street. One write up said dont waste your time and money with just brakes, call Bill Allen at mechanics plus. I did and very thankful to the man who wrote up the recommendation on the other website and very appreciative of Mr Allen, his niece who was on the front desk, and the mechanic who invited me to come out and see my cars problems prior to repairingI called at 10am, they were full but when I explained my situation, Mr Allen said get YOUR but down here and we will get it done.They took my car into the shop, pulled my 4 wheels , found the problem I heard/felt plus another one that was worse ( front wheel bearing gone and really not safe).Three hours or so later I was on my way with time to enjoy Orlando before returning homeThank you team.
