I am starting to become concerned that a strike is being held in Idaho and the media is unaware, or potatoes are being rationed. The last several weeks Ive gone to the deli they are out of potato wedges. The chicken tenders as delicious as they are, are awfully lonely when purchased without the mysteriously vanishing potato wedges. Can someone please address the issue. Thank you,

Do Not Order Delivery!!My order was delivered late and had missing items that I was charged for. I also was not notified that the order was delivered. Also, there is no place to tip the driver, which is probably why the service is terrible. I am now waiting behind 17 other people to get my charges adjusted.Do better Safeway.

Im new here from the East Coast. I like Safeway a lot. The only thing I dont like is the method of digital coupon clipping. My suggestion would be a bag to scanning the cards and have every coupon on the card. I know I would make my life a lot easier. I must compliment how neat and organized and extremely clean the store is.

Small store in comparison to other Albertsons or Safeways in the Valley but they keep this store clean and I appreciate that very much. I do think management is missing the boat with their scheduling of skilled employees. For example their butchers. I should have no issues strolling in there on a Friday late afternoon to get a few rib eye steaks for dinner, but I do. Theyll be completely cleaned out of the good cuts of meat and there will only be an employee back there working the counter only. The time to go to this store is late morning on any day of the week as everything will be restocked and the butchers will be caught up. For the working class this makes it difficult to get what your looking for. These butchers at this store are really good when you can get your hands on their best work. That said, I should be able to get the level of service I want almost any part of any day.

I find good deals. I use the just for u app. On this day I used my fuel rewards of 80cents off of a gallon of gas. I usually earn any where from 80 cents to 1.50 off of my gas a month. Makes shopping here a easy decision.

Just a mixed up confusion of what used to be a great store. Never consistent. Items move almost daily. Nobody knows where anything is. Removed so many good products trying to force store bfand on to customers. Some of their items are. Very good and some extremely bad. We should be allowed a choice with some items. I cannot walk inside anymore after 10yrs of shopping there. Very sadR.I.P. Safeway. We miss you.

Its a nice clean grocery store, I was in town for the weekend and me & both my daughters were able to get everything we went in for. Their greeting card selection is fantastic 👍, I do have a problem with their self check out however, we had guite a few items in our basket not a full basket but more than you can take thru the express lane. The bagging area needs to be a little bigger . Our particular register would not allow us to remove the bag or bags once they were full to make room to continue scanning our items. It would go into some type of default mode and not allow us to continue until we placed the bags back onto the bagging area. It became very frustrating for all three of us. I dont know if there is something wrong with that particular register or if theyre all 5hat way but it was a big hassle. Thank you

This Safeway is super clean, friendly employees, and has very nice carts to use. It was my first trip to this location since moving out to the CG AZ City area. They had a sale on Ribs that brought me in and I will likely go here over Frys from now on.

This is by far the cleanest and most respectful supermarketing casa grande.

The employees at the deli don’t have nice customer service attitude. They don’t greet you and ask in a nice manner what can they help you with. Instead they look at you like you don’t know what you are doing until I asked that where can I weigh the chicken wings you serve your self. The lady just said let me see, then grabbed the boxes and weighed them and just placed them back on the counter without saying here you go or nothing I was wondering ok so do I just take them or is she not finished weighing them? Like lady Im not a robot…. The whole thong just made me feel very uncomfortable and overall had a bad experience. Also the wings were not fresh, they were hard to chew I dont know if anyone else has had this experience with the wings, but I dont want to sound like a mad lady it is just the whole experience was just not pleasant.

Ive been going to Safeway for quite some time now (several years to be exact) and have found them to be one of the best all-around supermarkets in the Casa Grande area. The produce section is very good and the meat department is good as well - although the selection may not be as quite large as their main competitor, they always seem to have what I need and it always looks good. The Safeway butcher shop is a treat being theres not another in the area that I know of and has the best ready to eat fresh shrimp Ive ever had in my life (seriously!). The bakery is very good too and has the best in-house bagels and bread Ive found in Casa Grande (dont forget about the pharmacy & deli which are equally as good). The staff are very friendly and always helpful and their rewards program cant be beat! I do wish however, theyd quit moving everything around so much as it gets a little confusing every time you go shopping (I go about twice a week). Also when US Bank pulled out from inside their store and took the ATM machine as well (big bummer!) it left a big void for banking convenience and the Safeway Customer experience. Overall, theyre the best at what they do (not the biggest) and they know their market. Their prices are good and you can snag some real deals & freebies if you time it right and use the app. If youre tired of rat-race grocery shopping - then Safeway is for you. Besides, the grocery carts are new and shopping is pleasant!

It is always EXTREMELY difficult trying to get someone just to answer the phone! It is beyond frustrating. The line will ring and ring and ring and ring............and ring....and ring.......and ring.....now I am almost certain somebody is hearing the phone ring. I can understand if it is once or twice but EVERY single time? smh

Way better selection of Asian foods! Maybe not more then places like Frys but way better quality. If you like Asian food I cant recommend la-yu (hot sesame oil) highly enough. It will take your instant noodles to another level!

This safeway is hit and miss. Sometimes youll be able to get everything on your list, other times you cant find anything you need and you have to go to frys. Prices are okay if you have a safeway card. Friendly cashiers sometimes. Other times they dont speak to you unless to ask for a safeway card. Our cashier mostly just talks to the bagger about her boy issues.

Its always fun to go to Safeway because u never know what meat is up for discount u can see the fresh flowers & smell them they have one of the best donut selection around & fresh

I love this place! During the pandemic, it has been a nightmare getting even the smallest of products from any grocery store, and at any time of the day. But, this store was as convenient as it gets! There were hardly ANY fellow shoppers and the ones that were there (@1300) seemed to obey the social distancing measures set in place within the establishment. Safeway had everything we needed in stock, and the store was well kept, not to mention EXTREMELY clean! The staff was friendly to me and my family! Not once were we treated lesser than the prior or next group of people. Furthermore, this store has more variety of seasonings and produce among other great food source choices! Especially for a family who eats no animal products. I will only shop here from now on. There is no place like this Safeway!

The store is nice .but when I checked out after I looked at the recipe. I did not get the Friday special price .plus we had notice on the shelf we saw if they were out of the product there was something else in that space .not just one time a couple of times. Was kind of upset .i think. I would of safe around 11 more dollars then I spent.it will be a while before I go back there..

Gerry, who runs the pharmacy, is just amazing.All of the employees bend over backwards for you.The pharmacy at this store needs retraining, and maybe another person.The rest of the employees are lackadaisical at best.

The only store in CG that has kebabs made and ready to go! Customer service was a little off in the beginning but Matthew over in the meat department was courteous and professional.

Located on the north west corner of Cottonwood and Trekell in Casa Grande AZ. There is road construction on that corner and traffic is slowed.Enjoyed a Vanilla Cream Cold Brew and an iced Chai tea from Starbucks. The location of the service counter adjacent to the Safeway entrance/exit is not convenient. Forming a socially distanced line to order or pick up, a person is constantly moving to avoid shoppers coming into the store or leaving with their carts. The line for ordering extends back into the active shopping area causing congestion.Both times I was in the store to order from Starbucks yesterday, it appeared to be bad timing. One barrista was taking orders, one was preparing orders and one was stocking. The lines grew to 7 people waiting in each line which seemed a long wait time. Several people were waiting and gave up. It became obvious that it was break time and as one barrista came back from break another would leave. The lines didnt seem to bother the employees so maybe that is normal at this location. Next time Ill just go to McDonalds and it will be cheaper.

The store is always clean and well organized. Non-sale items are always in stock. As with most of the grocery stores I dont like electronic coupons and find them to be a hassle.

I prefer Safeway for their food quality. They ARE a little higher priced on some items. Part of that is because theyre a union store. Im willing to pay a little more for people to make a living wage. That, coupled with superior food quality and a wide array of pre-packaged ready-to-cook fresh meals, seals the deal for me.This location has been busy every time Ive visited, and it often isnt possible to park close. That can be a problem for someone mobility challenged. The same issue means power shopping carts are often unavailable. I took away one star for those issues.UPDATE: was able to get in a couple of weeks ago. Will never go back. The cashier upended my cake and two deli salads. One of the deli salads emptied onto the conveyer belt. It was replaced - I didnt discover until I got home that it was replaced with a smaller package. I wasnt credited for the difference. I also didnt discover until I got home that another deli salad was bagged upside down and emptied into all the other items in the bag with it.I get that people have bad days, but this experience was my last straw for this location. Im still a Safeway customer, but I drive 70 miles round-trip to go to a different location

The selection of fruits/veggies, meats, baked goods, and deli are all top notch. Dry goods has had me running through aisle after aisle looking for some items. I used to complain that it was setup by deranged elves hiding Easter eggs behind Jack-o-lanterns, but Ive had time to get used to the layout and breeze in/out.The carts are sanitized at the southern entrance, and sanitizer is readily available throughout the store. The associates in each department are helpful and friendly, all properly masked. The floors are marked with the direction to enter an aisle but not everyone likes to follow the rules so youll see people going the wrong way. LOL!

Received my Covid Vaccine there . Pharmacists was great. I didnt even feel the needle.

High prices i only go there fir their awesome Safeway brand zesty dill spears and their Safeway brand wheat nut and grain bread made with lots if walnuts both delicious!

Wish we had WinCo foods down here instead of this place. Safeway has always been way over priced and Walmart just doesnt have customer service they used to have along with horrible fruit. I drive once a week to WinCo for great prices and fruit.
