My daughter had an appointment and we got there early. I asked if they could see her earlier and was told that there were a couple people ahead of us. This is the answer I expected but a few minutes later the young lady comes and says they will go ahead and see my daughter. We picked out new glasses, did her exam and we were on our way! The staff was professional and very personable!! The young lady even applied my coupon that I left at home…great customer service LensCrafters in Cary!!!!

Superb service! I came in on a Sunday to have a nosepad fixed on my glasses and Jacqueline provided fast, friendly and free service within 10 minutes! No charge! Convenient location right next to Cary towne center. I thought they might be closed but they are a separate building next to the starbucks. You will be happy you came!

The short haired lady kind of made me uncomfortable about being in the store, seconds before entering the store she approached me, didnt really help me browse and immediately yelled for another employee to bring her phone, which made me nervous she would call the police.. It has been 3 weeks since we ordered for our prescription. When we called the store Kelly mentioned that this would be delivered by 8/14 and then now 8/21. The associate over phone just dont give responsible answer at all for their delays. Unfortunately, this is the worst service I have ever seen. I would never visit this store again.

Worst experience. They messed up with appointment first without proper communication and once we were there for my daughter’s examination they informed us to pay some charges which they never mentioned. We had the insurance they accept. We will never visit this place again. I will write to Lenscrafters corporate office about this too as it was waste of good amount of time and efforts for us.

I feel bad for the eye exam side of this business; they were professional and efficient. The store side however, its difficult to politely review their service. What a waste of our time ! We used our PTO from our jobs, and they wasted it ! Its been a long time since Ive witnessed such a lack of consideration for other people. We sat patiently, for quite a long time, only to be dismissed by laziness. I will never waste my time again at this location.

Very pleased with my experience. Good selection of mens frames in a wide array of prices. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. They were not pushy or a nuisance. They gave honest input when I asked. When it came to fitting my glasses they made sure I was happy and pleased with everything before I left.

Bought Oakley sunglasses from this store and they will not stand behind their products that they sell. I have had issues with these since the first week of owning them and they would give me no help at all. They said it was Oakleys problem and not theirs. Will never do business with them again. This is not the first pair of glasses I have had issues with at LensCrafters.

They are getting one star because I had to select one to leave a review. Ive been coming here for years and Ive seen slight declines here and there but nothing to warrant me to pick up and leave altogether. But, I get to my appointment today and will not be seen. Evidently they have no record of my appointment even though I have texts and phone calls reminding me of my appointment today. This is the worst Ive ever experienced and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Bad service.Some of the attendants are patient and nice, but some really aren’t. The attitude is not appropriate for customer service.The pair I ordered with 1.67 index is great. But unfortunately the 1.74 pair costing $600 is not comfortable, I might have to keep up with my old glasses.

The posted hours for the optometrist are on the wall on the optometrist side of the store, and the sign said they close at 7 pm. It also says walk ins welcome. It was 5:15. The girl behind the desk said they were finishing with their last patient of the day, and the next available appointment was on Monday at 3 pm. I find that hard to believe. I asked the girl if they weren’t open until 7pm, like the sign says, and aren’t walk ins are welcome? I asked her why the last customer of the day is done at 5:15? She repeated that he was leaving for the day and the next appointment was on Monday.When I went next door to look at glasses, I told the salesperson I was expecting to have an exam but they were already closing. The guy actually said to me, “Well, good luck getting any doctor to work after 5 pm.” I suggested they change the sign if they were closing at 4:30- I assume that’s when the “last patient” began his exam... and I explained that the doctors in my family work long past five every day. Then he said, “well, they stay open until 7 just to take appointments.” Horse hockey. No one is going to pay a receptionist to sit there and do nothing and MAYBE take a walk in appointment maker at 5:30 on Saturday night. The place is open because they’re supposed to be making money- or at least have a shot at it.The same guy spent the entire time we were in there talking to the girl salesperson about his girlfriend, how many “bad Sundays” the store has had recently, and how it was good AND bad that his girlfriend was sick. The girl never raised her butt off of her seat the entire hour we were there.I’ll never darken their door again; they’re supposed to be in business until 7, but both the optometrist receptionist and the salesperson clearly were anxious to be done with it all a full two hours before closing time. And they didn’t care about missing the sale, which would have been one eye exam and two pairs of glasses.Good luck with this bunch in charge. They need a lesson in manners and responsibility.

I bought a pair of glasses in February. The temple has a gap which after spending $450 really shouldnt so I went there yesterday. I waited quite a while for someone to help me. Then the attitude was that they were annoyed and they were doing me a favor? They claim that the gap was due to me leaving my eyeglasses in the hot car which is not possible. I dont leave my sunglasses or eyeglasses ever in the car. I was told that they would replace the frames this one time? They have ordered the frame. I will make a point to speak with the store manager when I return to tell them how much I appreciate their Customer Service or should I say lack of.Update 7/17/13. I have been back twice now and both times they ordered the wrong size frame? Now I am working with Susan Bender. I have heard nothing from Susan on when they may locate the correct size frame and that was 10 days ago.

The reason one visits an eyeglass store in the mall is for the convenience, and alas, these folks--while courteous and pleasant--were anything but convenient. They couldnt fix my broken frames, then they couldnt put my lenses into new frames, but needed me to see the eye doctor next door--who had a wait for a spot where they might fit me in. While waiting for that, I wandered into Visionworks just a few steps nearby. They not only cheerfully fixed my frames at no cost, but --when I asked--went ahead and fit my lenses into new frames. And gave me a 25% discount!Im not sure why LensCrafters couldnt do the same or similar, but they were totally not convenient--or even competitive.

This is the second time around my sons and I have experienced the most prejudiced experience at this eye center. This evening took the cake. As my sons and I waited 15-20 minutes we got over look and and instead of letting a white lady wait the so called manager Daniel knew he went and got the technician from beyond the glass and asked her to assist the white lady and still let us sit there and wait. This was totally open prejudiced which my sons and I clearly witnessed once again at this location. This location should be closed down and only allow North Hills and Crabtree to see customers from here on out. I am completely appalled by Daniel and staff!!!

Damm shame you cant get attentions unless you are coming from the eye examination. I have been coming here for 3 years, and in the past i get an examination first, but since i just had an examination in December of 2018 but i wanted some tinted prescription glasses. I had my prescription in my pocket and was ready to pull the trigger on some new glasses today. But the sales associates, asked me if i needed anything, but did not move out of her comfortable chair. I guess I look like i was not going to spend money, not sure???? I guess you get different services if you are handed off from the optometrist office???? Another missed opportunity. People wonder why the internet is killing retail, and because you can have an unpleasant experience online, but when you go in person you want that human touch. Hopefully at some point retailer will hire people that actually want to do their job, huh?

Had the worst experience ever.Our whole family has been loyal clients for many years. My son’s glasses broke all of a sudden, while he was walking, just came off the hinge , surprising cuz we just purchased them in January. So went to the cary mall store and showed the glasses to this man who we have never seen in the store before, he told us to take it to a jeweler and have them weld it, or buy new frames.Not even once offering to try and repair them. When i asked what is the lens crafters policy if a clients glasses break suddenly within 6months of purchase, he pointed to the warranty flyer. I had not purchased a warranty so that would not help now. Then i asked where are all the women who work there since they were there back in January and have been working there for the past several years since we have been using this store for purchase. He said he had worked here for 1.5 yrs and there are no women who work here.which was a blatant lie. Then i asked for the manager he said he was the manager, I didn’t believe him , cuz if he was, he would know rest of the staff. So asked him for his name and he refused rudely saying he will not give his name cuz he has done nothing wrong. I was shocked at his rude behavior . He said take our glasses and leave. This is appalling behavior !! will never use this store again.i was only asking questions and got only negative responses and a very offhandish attitude.My family and I will never use this store again !!

My sons frames broke. Myeyedr takes over a week. I called in advanced and they told me I didnt need an exam just bring his prescription from his eye dr. I told them his lenses we just over a year old. She said no problem. I drive here then they said they wont make him glasses because the rx is expired. They want to charge me for exam. I told them thats not what you just told me an hour ago. I got nothing. No apologies, what can we do for you, nothing. Dont use this place!

Made an appointment for an eye exam next door to the eye doctor they are affiliated with and asked how much the exam would be , after No arrp discount, $144.00 !!!! And no free steak dinner for that price!!! I will never shop at lenscrafters this is completely over charging the vision works right down the hallway in the same mall is Half the price !!!!!!

Very limited selection of women frames, no longer have clean and simple metal frame collection. Also seem to carry either pricey designer brands or cheap and flimsy no-name ones, not much in the middle. Used to be able to get glasses on the same day, but inquired recently and was told that my rather simple single vision lenses were not in stock and wait is 10 days. Might as well order online at half price then.The eye doctor next door is nice and can get appointment on a short notice. But keep in mind that they push some kind of digital exam that costs extra 30$. They dont ask if you want it done, instead it looks like patients have to go out of their way to decline it in advance. Also PD is not measured even though its needed to order glasses (had no problem getting it done at previous doctor).

I have had less than advertised experiences at Lens Crafters myself and I think the reason I went back the second time was the advertising - however when advertising does not match actual real life situations I consider that a lie and I hate liars - so NEVER AGAIN to Lens Crafters! Alas I was needing some new glasses fast because my current pair got smashed I read the reviews - nothing has changed in this companies practices so I will skip them once again. WalMart might be bad in some cases for certain things. I reluctantly go there almost always anti-China Syndrome... but guess what? I got my glasses for over $300.00 LESS! They are made in the USA and a pair of matching prescription sunglasses FOR FREE as well! and they work just fine and look great! and I didnt have to waste my whole day in a crowded place of people that think they are better than me because they drive a Mercedes or BMW, poorly staffed lost employees and oh yes the lies! LensCrafters in my opinion: Ridiculously over priced services for ridiculously wasteful people that seemingly have money to throw away literally and all the time in the world to get what they want or what they thought they wanted. Lenscrafters made me feel like - if I werent prepared to spend at least $500.00 or more for my hopefully they get it right the first time glasses, then I wasnt worth their time or effort? You will get waited on if your not the above described customer eventually, but it will be about 3 hrs - and you will have to return for another hour or so to actually get them. That whole In about an Hour Is just pure bullshit! Youll wait at least 30 minutes to be actually acknowledged as a customer on a slow day - then wait at least 20 - 50 more minutes for the exam - The Dr. is older than time itself and I swear I never leave there feeling confident he got it right! Then you can actually start waiting for the rest of the process to happen 3- 4 days later at the very least you will have them! In Fantasy they make you believe you walk in and in less than an hour you have your new glasses on your face and leaving the store happy? Utter nonsense - this is the real world! False Advertising is so excepted these days no one even cares - but ME! You tell me certain details about your processes - THEN I expect you to make that happen or else dont f#@!ing say it!

I recently purchesed two pairs of glasses there. The sunglasses were made incorrectly. Plastic lenses were ordered, but polycarbonate was put in. On the first trip back (because one side was darker than the other)they again tried to put more dye on them. When they brought them to me I pointed out that there was a spot where there was no color. I was told, That is just a speck, there are silver flakes all over the place back there. When the woman tried to clean them, more coating peeled off. At that point they realized the wrong lens type was used, and I was told they would remake them. After 3 additional trips, each time being told He will do them first thing tomorrow and, then I would arrive to find they had not been done, I was promised they would be done early Sunday afternoon and would get a call when they were done. I finally called them at 5:45 and was told they had not been done, but the lab manager would do them first thing Monday morning and they would be ready by noon. When I called that morning, I was told the lab manger was not even on the schedule that day. I have been put off, lied to, had my concerns dismissed, and today was not allowed to speak to a manager on the phone. Meanwhile, my credit card was charged $734.96 a week ago, and I still do not have correct sunglasses. Additionally, the finish is already popping off of the regular glasses on one side. I went to the store today and returned both pairs of glasses. I have been a loyal customer of Lenscrafters for many years, and have bought all of my and my childrens glasses there. I will never again give any of my very hard earned money to Lenscrafters. There was no hesitation in their accepting my money, but was put off at every turn when I did not receive what I had paid for. They have lost my business and my recommendation for good. No one in the lab apologized. The only apologies offered were by associates who had nothing to do with the incompetence. That store needs some SERIOUS retraining and customer service improvements.
